I asked for a refund for the burnt dish, not the entire order, a fair and reasonable request considering I couldn't even eat it. Instead, they insisted on in-store credits, requiring me to return the food. With a 30-minute drive and having already spent an hour getting there, expecting me to come back for some $20 credit to eat your terrible food again is crazy!! I waited patiently to hear back for a couple weeks but nothing was done so I’m writing this review.

To add insult to injury, the rest of the order was equally disastrous – Pad Garlic burnt, Pad Thai with overcooked noodles, and Chicken Satay dry. Not a single item on the order met the basic standards.

For a restaurant to push "in-store credit" as a resolution, they should reflect on whether their food has any value worth coming back for. I wouldn't spend another dime here. Save yourself the disappointment and look elsewhere for a decent Thai meal.

We ordered carryout of Phuket Thai on a Friday. First off, they give you huge portions as we were able to eat leftovers the next two days. The Pad Thai was decent but actually was better reheated the next two days than the day we ordered it. The low point of the meal was the hot and sour soup as it didn't have much flavor. On the other hand, the Long Song (peanut curry) dish and Tom Yum soup were amazing!

We will definitely order carryout again but will most likely avoid the hot and sour soup.

First time ordering from this chain. Food was good, but not great. The sauce on the pad se ew was SO heavy… it was like gravy. Would be better if mixed with rice, but it’s already a noodle dish. And the hot and sour soup was so thick it was like mashed potatoes and gravy.

I am in there often as I work for a delivery service. My husband refers to it as the one with the rude lady. I believe she is a hostess and is always short and rude like I am inconvenience to her. Yesterday I finally and politely told her. As she was rude again!!!

Don't use GrubHub. The restaurant doesn't bag right and the Grub Hub drivers can't look in the bags and I've been burned twice now. Additionally, the meat has been less and less in a normal portion. Very pricey for the portions. Sad because they were my go to Thai in the area. Guess not anymore...

Take out on Oct 20. My wife got Pad Thai and I got Pineapple fried rice. Both our meals were totally flavorless. Usually pineapple fried rice has cashews, this does not. Her pad thai came with an overabundance of egg. We also got hot and sour soup, which was decent, but had too much chicken and egg in it. The spring rolls are nothing to write home about either. Even the thai iced tea was no good. The dinner for two was nearly 50 dollars, and for everything to be this bad, I simply could not leave a review. If you ever wondered what flavorless Thai food would be like, this is the place. It used to be a Bangkok Thai years ago, and it was good then, but not now.

This place takes forever and is so hot inside it's so uncomfortable. The employees are terrible and are never helpful. Food is terrible and over priced.

Place is awesome! I can’t speak for in person dining but I order via DoorDash and the portions are amazing and the taste is amazing! Price is reasonable.. Try the Thai ice tea, it’s also amazing! I would say it is the better Thai restaurant than most in macomb county. Thank you!

Great place with great pad Thai. I asked for extra spicy, I literally got extra spicy. A lot of other places hold back, these guys came through on the heat. Friendly service, never had an issue.

Worst customer service ever. I called and placed an order. I arrive at the time they told me it would be ready. I nicely say hello, I have a pickup for ___. The lady VERY RUDELY says “Yeah, well you’re going to have to wait at least 30 minutes before it’s ready”. Are you kidding me? I get being busy, at least have a little sympathy, or call and let me know before I drive out!! Oh, and the food was not even good! I will never be back here again.

My first time trying out this place because our normal spot is closed on Sundays. We ordered 3 entrees. One entree was ordered mild, the other 2 were medium. The two medium dishes were inedible due to the level of spiciness. I love spicy food and I am not new to how hot Thai food can be but this was literally disgusting, had no flavor except burning. Highly disappointed. The fried chicken entree was chewy as well

The Thai boxing chicken dish was very bad. Chicken was old/ dry and not good even tho I waited 50 mins for this dish (they said there was a wait bc they needed to make more so it was suppose to be fresh)

Awful food with honestly hostile servicers. Do not go here for food unless you want people to just serve you food ment for pigs while the wait staff spend more time on their phones then actually serving.

Had lunch take out. Chicken pai Thai $$ reasonable cost good flavor. Med spice makes your nose run but not to hot to enjoy.

Normally we have a good experience here but lately it's not the same. We tried to use our punch card today for our 10th meal free and they refused so we asked to pay for one meal only which they also refused and would not refund us for. The woman on the phone was very rude, not one of the women we normally speak with and upon going in she had a very snarky attitude and was very disrespectful. She literally called my partner an idiot and had to be corrected by another worker that you can't talk to customers that way. It's disappointing because this is our usual Thai place but we won't be back after this experience.

The food is not the best thai food that you can get. The portion is normal, and the eggs taste to dominate other things.
I tried the kow pad with medium spice, and it came mild spice. Other flavors are not mixed well to give the rich taste.

My bf and I have been searching for a new Thai food spot and I’m really glad we gave this place a try. We’ve tried some other spots in the area that weren’t that great at the same price range, but we will be happily returning here for Thai in the future. The food was delicious and the restaurant staff were able to accommodate my request. We ordered takeout of the chicken pad Thai and the pa-nang. The spice levels are accurate and have good flavor as well. Kind staff!

Just purchased a carry out order for the number 14, extra side of white rice and an order of spring rolls. Service was very good, the rice was good, spring rolls were ok, the dipping sauce was tasty as well. The main dish has very little brown sauce and we tasted a lot of flour or corn starch( whichever they used as a thickening agent) the spice was medium and that was good but I think the chef just had an "off day" and that's ok, definitely didn't need the extra rice since there was very light sauce, never had a bad meal before from here. We will be back to try again.

The lady at the front is super rude. It was our first time at Phuket on 01/02/24 around 6 pm. When we came we ordered inside. The lady was very RUDE💩, kind of in a big rush, there was 2 people in front of us and then 3 came after. All for take out. She was trying to get the order super fast, rushing- even we asked question about serving size she was saying I don’t know this I don’t know that. I’ve ordered pickup from here through Grubhub a couple of times, despite it being out of my way, because the food is better than other Thai spots near my office. Today, I showed up to pick up my Grubhub order, only to be told that they “don’t do Grubhub,” despite having ordered through there several times, being listed on the app, and having Grubhub signs in the restaurant. They offered no resolution of their own and I wasted my entire lunch driving there and back for no reason.

If you no longer accept Grubhub orders, take the account and signs down. Pretty common sense.

I get the pad Thai, I tried the dunken noodles but the portion was so small that I wont try that again. I really like the pad Thai and they give enough for me to keep coming back for more.

First time ordering. Got the dinner portion of Drunken Noodles with chicken . Taste was good but chicken was almost non existent. Way too expensive for a noodle dish.

I have to admit, this used to be my favorite place within 20miles. (My favorite is in auburn hills) I lives 12 miles away but make the drive. Haven't bn there in about a year. (Didn't know it was renamed) I wasn't too happy there last 2 times. Bangkok chicken was a bit mushy. The drunken noodles weren't very drunk in sauce, no Thai basil or even regular basil all the flavor was cayenne pepper (I love spice) and it had alot of sweet Red peppers. I've never seen it done like this. The flavor of the sweet doesn't go that well honestly. Then I had a chunk of onion where the end wasn't cut so the onion stayed together its a quarter of an onion. Meaning the middle was raw. I don't think I'll be making that drive anymore. 😕

Very good food. We were going to hamlin for a family dinner but decided to go here instead. Kind and prompt staff and quick time for food. They bring the food in big bowls so it's enjoyable to bring a few people and share different meals to try things out.

Ordered the panang curry. For the price of $17 it wasn't even served with rice. This is my first first time ever getting Thai curry where rice wasn't included. The beef had a good flavor but unfortunately they forgot my drink and I had to come back to get it.

Second time getting Phuket Thai and we love it. We’ll get the Pad Thai, Chicken Satay and Pad See Ew or Drunken Noodle. The portions are huge, everything is flavorful, it’s quick, and we feel the price point is reasonable. Mild+ is just the right amount of heat for us for those asking about spice levels - we like heat but not too much so this is perfect. We have a few Thai places we like to order from nearby and we’re adding Phuket to the rotation.

If I could do even half or no star I would. I called to place an order to try this spot. On the phone the woman was rude. I couldn’t even ask her option on how spicy their hot is. She kept saying it depends on the person and I get that but other places will give me an estimate. She told me to call back after I figured out what I want… I’m good. Definitely in my top 5 Thai food places. So far haven't had anything bad. The best is the Curry Noodle, Kow Pad, and spring rolls. I'd definitely recommend the Thai boxing chicken and the chicken satay as well. Can't go wrong with the pad Thai either. Take out service is friendly and fast. Be prepared for some heat. Their heat levels are serious. I've had some people that don't eat much spicy food say their "medium" set their mouth on fire. So if you're unsure on how spicy...maybe start at mild and work your way up.

Egg rolls are slim but they give you 6 and they’re good. The Thai fried rice however was inedible with burnt egg throughout. The shrimp in it was clean and cooked perfectly. I might give this place another try but only on the days that my favorite place isn’t open. I’ll drive further for better food.

Was better when it was Bangkok. Higher prices, smaller menu and no dine in for months (even though they show as open for dine in on the web). I guess, update your site at least?

I’ve had lots of places, but this is my fav. It’s made perfect every time. If you don’t like things too hot I wouldn’t go over medium lol… I did medium plus and I thought my lips were going to burn off!! Haha I’m sensitive to hot though so I’m a mild + girl.
Staff is friendly as well. I always order the chicken pad Thai with extra sauce and extra raw bean sprouts.

Ordered a carry out and I got spring rolls, crispy rolls, curry noodles, pad pak, and Tom yum soup! First of all the Tom yum soup was one of the best I’ve ever tasted and all secondly all the food was super fresh and tasty! I’m impressed!

I love this place. It's not too far from work. We order to pick up and the food is always ready. We go there once or twice a month. My favorite dishes are chicken pad thai ,pad thai curry (make it hot to fire up the taste) & egg rolls. I also order the beef pad see ew. This dish is more of a sweet side but still good!

The first time I went, the food was delicious but their "Hot" wasn't quite hot enoigh for my taste. So, the second time I asked for more and even drew a nice little cartoon dragon on my container.

Super friendly over the phone and accommodating. The guy working there was super friendly when I went to pick up our work lunch order as well. The food was delicious and good quality. We got the chicken pad Thai and the accommodation came because I really wanted a breaded chicken with curry sauce and veggies and the guy said okay no problem . ( they serve this at another Thai place that I order from but they were closed ) It was delicious! We are glad we tried it and will definitely be ordering again!. I never knew this place was here until I googled it. Definitely recommend it if you’re craving Thai.

Pad Pak with chicken and Spring Rolls are delicious. Bangkok Chicken wonderful. Love this place and I’m praying they stay consistent. Super picky about meat, but I ate the chicken like it was organic and I had made it myself.

Love the food.. first time going here but was disappointed thst they didn't give out any spoons or forks... got to work didn't have no spoon or forks... had to wait to go homento enjoy my food....

This is the 2nd time that I have ordered from here through Grubhub and both times my order was incorrect. This time they forgot to give us our $2.00 each for extra sauce on the side for each of our three dinners for a total of $6.00. Both of the chicken Pad Thai dinners were extremely dry, both the noodles and the chicken. We will NEVER order from this business again. We will be telling everyone we know to stay away from this place. Save your money and order Pad Thai from Noodles & Company. 100 times better and better quality chicken, all white meat. Train your employees to read the order when preparing dinners and re-read and double check that order is complete before the order leaves the door. For what they charge you would expext quality food, this place serves below average food. So bad I wouldn't even feed it to my dog.

Delicious food and wonderful staff. I ordered on doordash for a later time, but the system wasn't accommodating and the food was ready almost 40 minutes before I arrived at the restaurant. I spoke with the cashier, and they re-made my food for me while I waited. I'm not usually one to ask for something like that, but they were understanding and accommodating. Great customer service, and even better food. Definitely my go - to Thai restaurant in the area.

Chicken pad Thai was some of the best I've ever had! Spring rolls were bomb too! Definitely will be back! Also, the guy who brought out my food to my jeep was very polite and patient.

Friendly staff and authentic food. I feel welcome everytime I get some Phuket Thai. The food is always excellent, never been even slightly disappointed by the quality. Has a good atmosphere so that way if you have to wait for your take out (never long) you can sit in a welcoming environment. The front staff is helpful and friendly, being well versed in the menu enabling some choice recommendations. And to the cooks in the back: love ya food keep it coming. I would recommend a trip to Phuket Thai 23 without hesitation, very lucky to have a place like this nearby.

If you are looking for quick Thai food at a reasonable price you can grab a lunch carry out for around $8.00. Phuket Thai 23 is located on the south side of Hamlin Pub. Currently carry out only with hopes of opening for dine-in come January.

Had Phuket 23 for the first time... and it was amazing! The brown sauce on the pad see ew was phenomenal and the beef was tender and delicious. My buddy had the Bangkok chicken and his was just as good. I work 2 stores down at the Play It Again, so I will definitely be coming back for my dinner breaks.

Not bad, but not great. They definitely give good sized portions though. Flavors were ok but not as pronounced as others I've had. My pad cashew with beef taested a lot like beef stew. It was good but didn't have the Thai flavor. My wife's dish had large pieces of ginger but was good otherwise.

From out of town, thought I'd try the local thai joint. I ordered a vegetable curry, my usual at any thai place. Unfortunately theirs was very oily and tasted burnt, I couldn't even eat it. Mistakes happen, but the one star is for the terrible customer service. When I called they said the oil was normal and refused to refund my money, or even cook me a different dish. Basically, told me I'm stuck with the pool of oil that they call a vegetable curry, and nothing for my troubles. Unless you like overpriced oily burnt food and bad customer service, I would avoid this restaurant, and thus avoid dysentery from consuming that much oil.

This used to be Bangkok and I didn't even realize they changed the last time I called- but this is WAY better! The portions you get for the same price are a little larger (especially the rice.. like why short people on rice lol it's so cheap) and we feel that we get a better meat/veggie ratio. The brown sauce and red curry are excellent

Not trying to be mean but it was disgusting. I’ve ordered here before and it was usually good. Pad Thai soggy drenched in soy or whatever. The portion was so small (maybe door dash ate some lol) the egg was old and the crab was rubbery. I love Thai food but this place has gone down. Needless to say after years of ordering from here, this will be my last review and my last order. Take care and I hope you guys make changes

Favorite place for Thai food. The meals are delicious and quick. The service is accommodating and respectful. My family always feels like welcomed when we eat here. Even their carryout is amazing. One time, when WE ordered our food wrong, they recognized us, and gave us a credit to order again another time for free, just to make sure we still enjoy the food we wanted. I will not order Thai food from anywhere else.

My new #1 and only go to for delicious Thai food! The flavors are balanced really well and the spice is there without over powering the dish. Also the fresh rolls are the best I've ever had. I would Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone. You will not be disappointed 😁

Apparently ownership has changed. We ordered 3 meals. My husband had beef pad Thai. The beef was undercooked and chewy. My vegetable curry with tofu tasted much different than it usually does. I ordered the tofu fried, but it was very mushy and undercooked. I had to pick it out and cook it more on the stovetop. My girls love pineapple fried rice (no meat - just pineapple). I counted 6 pieces of pineapple in the entire $11 dish. Really disappointing, as this has always been our favorite local Thai restaurant.
