On top of amazing food, the service is friendly and thoughtful. Dining in is smallish as I think most folks prefer to carry out for Thai but it’s plenty of room for a few diners stopping in for a lunch or dinner.
I ordered the pad Thai with a side of peanut sauce and my friend had gang karee.

This is the best Thai food in all of the metro Detroit area. Trust me, I’ve eaten at 70% of the spots you’d compare this to.If you don’t believe me, go try it. I’ll buy your next meal if I’m wrong.

Service is lighting fast, prices are more than fair for the quality and amount of food you get. Just come eat here, you won’t be disappointed.

Beautiful new Thai restaurant in Berkley. The parking is that of a typical strip mall and is free. The atmosphere is very nice. There are seats but I’ve never witnessed anyone actually dining in. The staff is very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The food is very good. I’d suggest getting your typical Thai meal, you’ll instantly see the difference in quality between where you’ve been going and here. There’s no corner cutting here, everything is freshly made.

Really great, flavorful Thai food! The dine in space is cute, and the service was great! Everyone was so friendly. I ordered the Bangkok fried rice, medium spice. It was a huge portion, and they were not shy on the shrimp and chicken. I also ordered the tofu tod which was also really good. I would definitely come back!

The pineapple fried rice with shrimp is wonderful. The Tom yum soup and spring rolls very flavorful. The Thai basil rice and pad Thai were full of flavor as well. Everything arrived hot.
After I enjoyed lunch, I packed it up, picked up my child from school and when I went to put the leftovers away ...they were still warm!
I'll definitely return for more wonderful Thai food. I think I just found a Friday night dinner take out place, too.

Most places serve up a really sugary, soupy brown sauce. Not here. It is light and perfect. The Satay Chicken is so juicy and flavorful, huge pieces, and can easily be eaten without the peanut sauce. Other favorites: Spring Rolls, Tom Yum Soup, Pad Thai, Masamun, and the Pineapple Fried Rice. Food is always ready, packed and piping hot. The staff are very friendly and hospitable.

I will always rave about Tiger Thai! Every time I’ve ordered, my food has been ready, packaged wonderfully, and hot! The meals are delicious, and service is great. Gang Ped is 5/5

Foods great, they always make vegan drunken noodle for us. However, it’s impossible to place an order when they don’t answer their phone. Today is the third time this has happened.

I've been coming to Tiger Thai for almost a year now and have enjoyed the food, but I don't know if I can patronize this place after my last experience.

We ordered a fried rice dish mild, got home, and it ended up being extremely spicy. When we called the restaurant and spoke to the manager, she basically argued and kept saying "The cook said he made it mild." Well ma'am, he's either lying or has a completely different tolerance for spice! Here's the thing: we've ordered this dish dozens of times. I usually order mine hot, and my mother orders mild, so I KNOW the difference. For this order, I tasted my mom's "mild" rice and it was extremely spicy like the hot I usually order. So my Mom and elderly Aunt could barely eat this dish and didn't enjoy their meal because it was way too spicy. Yet, the manager didn't believe my mother when she called.

Another thing that's bothering me about this place is the young lady at the front. She is not friendly and acts like she doesn't want to be there. Then on a busier night, she went from the cash register to the back to help out in the kitchen. She did not wash her hands, didn't wear gloves or anything. This is not sanitary. You're at the register handling money and credit cards, you're supposed to wash your hands before handling food.

I'm sad to write this review because me and my family really loved this place and have told TONS of people about it, bringing new customers. However, I'm big on respect and quality customer service, and that has gone down at this place. Don't argue with your customers who've been bringing you business, just fix the issue and move forward. Have a somewhat pleasant demeanor when customers come in. It's simple. Extremely disappointed in Tiger Thai.

Somewhat limited menu, but it's been my new favorite Thai restaurant since it opened. My favorites are the drunken noodles, pad thai, green curry, and chicken satay. Portion sizes are generous and perfect! Spice level options are great, not too tame. I like spicy food and only get medium. Hot is certainly tolerable, just a bit more than I typically want.

I've been addicted to Thai dishes for almost 40 years. Tiger thai definitely gets my vote as one of the best around.

Got 3 takeout meals, pad Thai and drunken noodles. Really good. I eat gluten free due to an allergy and I did not have any issues with the pad Thai. Looking forward to having such a tasty Thai food restaurant near us! I do wish there was more meat in the dish though.

Looks like a fast-food/takeout place (only a couple linoleum tables) but the food is top notch! Lots of vegetarian options too.

Be warned, their “medium” spice level is pretty spicy, but you can ask for “mild” or even “no spice” if you or your kids are sensitive to spicy foods.

This is really good Thai, I would put it tied for 1st place in the area. Tried the kow pad, pad Thai curry noodles, pad sew, drunken noodles, and the Thai wings. All were excellent. Will be adding this to the rotation.

We stopped here for a late lunch. The restaurant is CLEAN, CLEAN. Staff is so friendly and personable. They seem to do a brisk carry out business. There are tables to sit and eat at. Also very clean. You order at the counter and they bring your food to you. Everything we ordered was excellent. Curry dish, fried rice, spring rolls, Tom yum soup, dumplings. All excellent. Fresh ingredients, the rice was so good too. I would drive from the far east side to eat here again. Highly recommend a try. I forgot to get pictures.

Just a quick note. Food was fresh and good. Issue was spice. We ordered four entries in three occasions. Asked for mild once. Very mild others. Ended up not being able to eat just if it was so spicy. Have eaten at most Thai places in this area and never had this issue. Just just a warning they err on spicy even if asked for very mild

My wife and I ate in. The restaurant is small (seats14) - but the interior design is super cute and comfortable!.

We had the spring rolls and the pork/cabbage dumplings to start, and they were great.

I had the Drunken Noodles and my wife had the Curry Pad Thai and they were both awesome! Nicely spiced even at mild. Huge portions = after we mowed through the appetizers and ate our fill of the entree at the first go, we got 2 more lunches each out of the leftovers.

Will definitively go back!!! Thanks for coming to Berkley!!!

Heard about this newer restaurant so we gave it a try. Ordered Pad Thai Curry and Drunken Noodles plus a spring roll. All were really good. Large portions. Fast food. Will be back!

First bite of my gang karee (potatoes and green onion in a coconut yellow curry sauce) was heaven. I added shrimp and it was cooked to perfection. I also got the dumplings and those were fantastic too; I didn’t see steamed dumplings on the menu but hopefully those come sometime, I bet they would be just as good

I ordered the pineapple fried rice, recommended by staff who were friendly and polite. It was so good! Spice level was perfect, and the sweetness of the pineapple went so well with the heat. The cashews were a perfect cherry on top. The place is clean, service was quick when I went at a non-rush time (2:30p). The price ($10) for lunch is hard to beat these days and the portions are huge. This will be my new go to spot and I’m excited to try everything on the menu. Now, I’d love if they add some mango sticky rice to their menu ☺️
