The best Thai food within 100miles easily. Consistently amazing for many years.

Diner Review №2

The flavors are a real treat.
Made with care and the staff was so nice.
My kids and i enjoyed everything

Diner Review №3

So excited to try out the new location! We were regulars at the previous location and there was a huge hole in our lives the months they were closed. Amazing food! Especially love the spring rolls, and anything with peanut sauce gets 5 stars 🤩

Diner Review №5

Been here several times and I liked some duck dishes. But unfortunately also had the worst drunken noodles I’ve had in my life… flavor was very one dimensional and I got some basil flavor only for noodles that right next to the basil leaves. Also surprised that they used American broccoli instead of the Chinese ones. Noodles were on the rubbery side and didn’t taste fresh. When it came out, they were kinda all already stuck together….

Food was fresh and flavorful. Red Snapper in red curry with peppers and Kiefer lime leaf. Was a clean and bright spot in my day. Thank you.

Diner Review №8

The place is so cute and smells amazing when you first walk in. Lovely staff, delicious bubble tea, big portions.

Diner Review №9

A friend and I ate here yesterday. We were very disappointed. Was so hoping that it would be good. I may try to go back. Perhaps they were having an off day.

Diner Review №10

It is a cost-effective Thai food.

Diner Review №11

Food is generally good. However, I would avoid the lunch specials - I ordered a pork dish and was given 3 pieces of small and thin meat and most was just white rice. I did not leave full or satisfied.

Diner Review №12

Love their special dishes like the fried tilapia with the Thai sauce and roast pork with Kai lan! lose by and they have some good Thai. Love the new location too. Pleasant environment.

Diner Review №13

Recently relocated to a better location, this restaurant offers average but decent Thai food. The place can get very busy, and when we were there, only over person was working both as host and waiter. Noise level was fairly high. Prig nam pla was available as a condiment by request, and it helped spice up my dish. Entrees were brought before my soup was finished, so you might have to ask them to pace your order appropriately. No alcohol currently available.

Diner Review №14

Seriously 8 pieces of small tofu in every dish and you are more than tuptim.

Little sauce and barely a meal

Diner Review №15

I ordered a chicken pad Thai, in general it was good but! I don’t like spicy and they added spicy. I also ordered a Pad Ke Maw with the note of mild spicy and it wasn’t spicy at all (I think they probably got confused)

Diner Review №16

Very friendly staff. Food was excellent

Diner Review №17

Best Thai food in SE Michigan

Diner Review №18

Excellent food and excellent service. The staff is very friendly and helpful. And yeah, I will be happy to come here again and maybe even bring my family here

Diner Review №19

Diner Review №20

I like their chicken pad thai better than many other locations in town. It has a sour/tangy sauce that I think is better than some of its competitors (no thai I am looking at you!).
Some other things have been hit or miss though- like the lunch special green curry was so so and just not very flavorful. It is nice that they offer lunch specials that come with an eggroll. And I did not see any options to have the pad thai as a lunch special. Nevertheless, I am excited that they moved across town to a new home much closer to my side of town. 3-4, rounding up.

Love this Thai place! It used to be in Ypsilani on Washtenav and Yost. They have moved to Ann Arbor on Eisenhower! The service is excellent, the food is excellent, and the ambience is excellent! The new place has moved to where VKitchen was. It is right next to Tropical Smoothie.

Diner Review №24

We came here for lunch on a Sunday. There was a group of 10 ahead of us (party of 3) and we waited easily 20-30 min for our dishes to come out. Not acceptable. As a consolation we are given shrimp chips to nosh on while we waited (hahaha). I ordered the Pad Thai and it was edible. I’ve had better in the area (hello Ypsi!). Our experience here was terrible and won’t be coming back. Goodbye Siam Square!

Diner Review №25

Their new location is wonderful. It’s bright and safe and pretty. The food is fantastic and the weight staff are great.

Diner Review №26

It serves authentic Thai food with good quality. The interior decorating is a bit overloaded but is still good. Not the best location. It hides behind the gas station and is hard to find. Overall a good value and pleasant dining experience.

Diner Review №27

Thankfully, Siam Square has moved to this new location. We used to go all the time to the prior location but stopped as the motel was getting scarier. So happy they moved, the food was EXCELLENT! Tom Yum soup is amazing, veggie spring rolls superb, pad thai was yummy. 5 stars!!!

Diner Review №28

Siam Square has a new location on the west side of Ann Arbor that's very easy to get to. They don't have an official sign up yet but it is under where V Kitchen used to be - their new location is accurately listed on Google. Please be patient as they are a small business that went through a huge move and is still figuring out their new space! Even considering that, I can confidently say the food and the service is as great as ever. Highly recommend the crab rangoons and pad prig pao.

Diner Review №29

Edited on 12/05/2024

They have moved from the wasthenaw Avenue location. The new address is updated on the map. As of today the sign is still not up.

Good food at a reasonable price, larger potion, and friendly service. However, the location is not very welcoming. We decided to carry out, but the food was perfect to our taste. People here are very friendly, listened to our request to avoid particular flavor, and served exactly what we were expecting. Now it's become our favorite thai cuisine for take outs.

Diner Review №30

The signage is the old business so it took me about 10 minutes to find the location. I called and was told it is the prior business sign. When I finally found the restaurant it was one couple dining in the restaurant was empty. I told the Greeter I wanted to order rice and he said lunch is over. I was confused by his response because I didn't say anything about lunch. The prices listed online for what I ordered is $12.00 but I was charged $15.90 and it was hardly no chicken in my rice. I was disappointed because for the price I paid it should have been enough chicken to finish my meal. I want be going back there it was a waste of time and money.

Best taste of Thai restaurant here! Great pad thai and curry and desserts and drinks. Love it!

Diner Review №34

Did Uber eats deliver. I ordered the yellow curry with pork and it was fantastic, veggies cooked perfectly! Came piping hot and with a large portion of white rice. Gave lots of pork. Since it was soup they put cardboard on the bottom of the plastic bag which I thought was very nice.

Diner Review №36

The best Pad Prew Wan (sweet & sour) I've had!!!!

Diner Review №37

Diner Review №38

Unfortunately food was mediocre at best. Pad Thai was pretty much tasteless. Pricing quite high as well. Service and atmosphere top notch.

Diner Review №39

Good food

Diner Review №40

Great little spot with good food. Overall not the best Thai in town but you can tell this place has heart.

Diner Review №41

They were so great! They surprised my wife with a birthday dessert, portions were huge, and the service was outstanding

Diner Review №46

This may be the best curry I've had in my life.

Diner Review №47

Diner Review №48

The food menu was great. You can have most items in vegetarian also with either Tofu or Vegetables option.

Ordered curry with rice and the broth was packed with full of Thai authentic flavors & one bowl was wholesome for one person.

Diner Review №49

Diner Review №50

My friends and I went there on March 12, 2024 around 2:30pm and it wasn’t too busy and our food came quickly. It was so delicious! My favorite was the green curry it wasn’t too spicy but spicy enough where there was the kick. The rice was also well cooked. The veggie spring roll omg it was delicious! Next time I’m in the area, I’m definitely coming back!

Diner Review №53

Food was really good, I love pad Thai and from there menu they had a lot of options food wise and drink wise. Definitely should put a sign outside of the building bc I thought it was just a hotel at first lol. But overall really good!

Diner Review №54

Been coming here for years and always leave satisfied. Everything is always amazing as is the service.

Diner Review №55

Food was great! Loved the ambience and decor as well. Definitely recommend.

Diner Review №56

Good place to go. Food and service were great. Location was a little hard to find by walking, but it was worth visiting. Thai tea and foods were a good combination.

Diner Review №57

The food was good

Diner Review №58

Diner Review №59

The entrance was kind of nondescript, and I thought the place didn't exist at first. I'm glad I found it because the food was good! I got the tofu red curry (vegetarian) and thai ices tea. The curry was fragrant, sweet, and very filling but not spicy at all (even though I asked for "spicy")

Diner Review №60

Like other people have said, don’t let it’s location be deterring. Absolutely some of the best Thai food we've ever had!!!!!!! Highly recommend!!!

Three stars overall, one star deducted for the food, and one star deducted because of Grubhub. The food we ordered was quite tasty, but before fulfilling the order, one of the items we ordered was removed (and refunded) from what we received. One of the items we ordered was the Pad Thai with Shrimp. The shrimp had an upcharge of 2 USD. What we received had exactly 3 shrimp. Then Grubhub arrived at the end of the delivery window, but to the wrong address. Thankfully the street number was on the photo provided. I trudged in the cold, dark, rain to this house and knocked on a stranger's door. The person turned out to be friendly. What we ordered and received was good and what we expected (accept for the paucity of shrimp).

Diner Review №64

Food was wonderful, the place its located at is ODD. You will likely go past the abandoned hotel its in. Creepy even, but food is delicious.

Diner Review №65

Inexplicably horrible to the extent that I wonder if this place is a social experiment. I've ordered it now twice. Last night I ordered the red curry ("extra spicy") and I had to take a Covid test to see whether I had suddenly lost my sense of taste or if Siam Square had managed to make a dish of food that somehow tasted like nothing at all. It was the latter. I've had glasses of water that were more titillating to the senses.

I do appreciate a good superlative - Siam Square is definitively the worst rendition of a world cuisine I've ever had. Having never cooked Thai food before I think you could put me in a kitchen blindfolded and I would be able to do better. Good for them for finding a way to stay in business peddling the worst food the world has ever seen.

Diner Review №66

Diner Review №67

Service was fast and food was really good. I love the secluded booths, very nice for date night!

Diner Review №68

Diner Review №69

I was really impressed with this hidden gem. Really interesting and delicious beverage options, amazing curry, and a huge menu. Everything was excellent and I can't believe it took me this long to try it!! The restaurant is located inside of a hotel, so might not catch the eye as well as some of the other Thai places in town, but it will definitely be my new go-to.

Diner Review №70

Too expensive for the food taste and quality. Noodles were sticky and the red curry was too liquid

Diner Review №71

Diner Review №72

I had the panang curry and it was delicious! Great atmosphere And friendly efficient staff. I will definitely be back.

Diner Review №73

Have been searching for an authentic Thai restaurant in Ann Arbor for the past two years and finally discovered this hidden gem! The food, service, and ambiance were all outstanding. The Thai milk tea and Tom kar soup are especially comforting and delicious on a chilly day. Highly recommend the steamed dumplings (melt in your mouth!) and the Siam Pad Thai - a delicious and authentic dish. Will be a regular at this place!

Diner Review №74

It was great, strange location but the food was really good

Diner Review №75

My wife and I had a great experience at Siam Square, a cozy and authentic Thai restaurant. The service was friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious and fresh. I ordered the Papaya Salad and the Kao Soi curry noodles, and I was not disappointed. The Papaya Salad was crunchy and refreshing, with a tangy dressing and roasted peanuts. The Kao Soi was rich and creamy. Both dishes had a nice balance of sweet, sour, spicy, and savory flavors. I would definitely recommend Siam Square to anyone who loves Thai food or wants to try something new.

Diner Review №76

Amazing restaurant! It is definitely a hidden gem in Ann Arbor, with great food and great environment inside. I really enjoyed their soup and curry.

Diner Review №77

This is a true hidden gem! As a Thai, this is the most authentic Thai restaurant in maybe a 20-mile radius. Smell and taste are on point. They use some substitute ingredients but that's acceptable. Ignore the look of the hotel building and also all the reviews complaining how there's no carrot in every dish (fyi there's no carrot in any thai food), totally worth it!

Diner Review №78

Diner Review №79

Best Pad Thai in the area!

Diner Review №80

Dirty

Diner Review №81

Food was more pricier than expected.

Diner Review №82

I don't usually post reviews, but this place is the best Thai in the Ann Arbor area. Don't let the outside fool you, this place is the bomb diggity! Its really beautiful on the inside too, a real hidden gem!!

Diner Review №83

Diner Review №84

Diner Review №85

Like other reviews have said, don't judge a book by it's cover! Outside may look iffy and sketch, but inside is great food and atmosphere! I had some Pad See Ew with chicken and my husband had curry, both so so good! Friendly staff and cute little booth to sit in. Maybe slightly expensive, but worth it!

Diner Review №86

Hidden gem in Ann Arbor. This place is inside the hotel so I couldn’t find it at first you need to keep looking for the sign but now just looking for the hotel because it’s the same parking lot. Food is great my favorite is grilled pork with sticky rice. Service is good too. Worth to drive.

Diner Review №87

If you're one to judge a book by its cover then don't read this. You can miss out. If you appreciate good Thai food even if it's in a derelict looking hotel then hear me out. I looked at this place and wondered about it but I've got this curiosity sense. You have to see from the street that there's a restaurant hidden in the hotel.

I came for lunch. Good prices for the portions. I brought my mom and she ordered Crab Rangoon and satay sticks for appetizers. Which I felt were quite delicious. I had a lunch portion of roasted duck which had a small side of noodles and rice plus a spring roll. I felt the duck portion was good in the brown sauce it was covered in. It had a slightly sweet taste.

Our server was nice too and the ambience of the interior was better looking obviously than the outside. Seriously though I can't stress this enough. I just wish they had a different location so people could see it better.

Good Thai food when you're in the area and I found my new Thai joint here.

Diner Review №88

I had the peanut noodles which were really good but I personally do not like it with the flat noodles. It would be much better with the thin noodles and some green onion. I make them at home all the time and just a suggestion. I didn’t have power for almost a week, and I was dying for some peanut noodles and this is the only place in town that Has them. This blows my mind because they are insanely easy to make!

Diner Review №89

Love their food.

Diner Review №90

Diner Review №91

Great Thai food at a reasonable price. I like the decor as well.

Diner Review №92

This is the second worst Thai restaurant in the area!

I love Thai food, it's far and away my favorite ethnic food. But man, this place sucks. The location is difficult and the food is mediocre at best. At best! I kept coming back hoping that it'll get better, only to find that the quality stays consistently low...

Even No Thai is better than Siam Square kekl

Let that sink in: the Americanized Thai restaurant where the food is made by hungover college students for hungover college students is better than Siam Square. How does a restaurant sink this low?

1.5/5

Not worth the hassle

Diner Review №93

Food, fantastic. Service, fast and friendly! Atmosphere, quiet and pleasant. Great experience all around.

Diner Review №94

Diner Review №95

Diner Review №96

First off, the first time you drive into the parking lot you will probably be convinced that everything is all closed up. It is not the restaurant is open. I have been craving Penang Curry for a month, today I am a happy camper! I also got Thai spring rolls, they were fantastic. It is a 30 minute drive for me to get there but worth every minute.

Diner Review №97

Very special decoration, food is not bad, traditional Thai style, service is nice😘

Diner Review №98

Most authentic pad ka prao that I’ve had in the area.

Diner Review №99

Overall, the food was good. The masamon curry had good flavor, but not very spicy. However, I got the shrimp for protein ($4 extra) and I got 4 shrimp. There also wasn’t a lot of veggies in the dish, it was mostly broth. So that was somewhat disappointing. The coconut pudding is delicious if you want something a little sweet for after your meal though!

Diner Review №100

Diner Review №101

Quirky in an unexpected cool way. Tied to a suspect crumbling hotel structure, my first visit was not looking promising. But it you look past the obvious and focus on the restaurant, the narrative changes. In three days I visited twice. One for lunch, once for dinner. Liked lunch better. The food was solid. Service was friendly, but probably understaffed. Most dishes delivered flavor. Note. Medium spicy is actually kill me spicy. My O. But the actual treat is the myriad of hand carved decor items. Now that's a feast for the eyes.

Diner Review №102

Authentic, yummy, fair-priced, good service, good selection of dishes, my fave curry of all time (masamon)

Diner Review №103

Ordered Pad Ke Maw and it was not good in every aspect. Sauce didn't taste great and it was "watery". Noodles were not good with minimal meat and vegetables. I wouldn't come here again. Quality and quantity of food has dropped in the past several months it seems.

Diner Review №104

Diner Review №105

This is a hidden gem in Ann Arbor.

Family owned Thai restaurant with beautiful decorations ♥️ the food was so delicious! I love everything that I ordered.

🥜 Siam peanut lunch combo with pad Thai, rice and spring roll
🍛 Masaman curry
🍵 Thai milk tea

However, the service was quite slow today. They only had one server for the whole restaurant.

Diner Review №106

Siam Square is a good option for Thai food in the area. While the restaurant is located inside a hotel that may not be the most desirable, the inside of the restaurant itself is nicely decorated with what looked like a pleasant atmosphere for dining in.

We ordered takeout and were pleased with the staff's accommodation of my vegetarian wife. The curry we ordered was well-seasoned, and the flavors were well-balanced. We found it to be satisfying.

Overall, Siam Square is a solid choice for Thai food in the area. The restaurant has a nice ambiance for dine-in, and the staff was accommodating. If you're in the area and looking for Thai food, it's worth checking out.

Diner Review №107

Amazing! Hard to find - you have to go into the hotel to get to the restaurant. But it’s lovely inside and the food is delicious. Loved it and will definitely go back.

Diner Review №108

Diner Review №109

Got the steamed broccoli and it tastes fishy. The shrimp was okay but don't get the beef! It's sketchy and tastes pretty bad. Desserts on pointe.

Diner Review №110

I always enjoy the Red Curry Chicken

Diner Review №111

Amazing Tom yum soup, great bubble tea, great fried rice, pad Thai was ok a bit sweet and I didn't love the noodles. Great ambiance and decor

Diner Review №112

Diner Review №113

Pad Woon Sen and Pad Bai Kaprao were sooo good. Thai iced tea hit the spot to cool the perfect "medium" burn. Service was friendly, and attentive, but not overly so. A+

Diner Review №114

I ordered the Pad See Ewe. I ordered from here since the place down the road is so much more expensive. This food is SICK! The food smells like it was cooked in vinegar. The noodles are completely dry and stuck together like a brick. Never making this mistake again.

Diner Review №115

This is horrible. Pad thai - no carrots, no veggies, just 2 or 3 green onions and 4 pieces of tofu, otherwise just a big pile of noodles. Never again.

Diner Review №116

The Thai Iced Tea is sweet and delicious! Medium spice has a bit of a kick but it's not insanely powerful. The building doesn't look like much on the outside but the inside is beautiful.

Diner Review №117

So bad I was shocked. Take out ranged from inedible to mediocre. Discarded the green papaya salad and the pad see ew. Red curry was okay, fried spring roll tasted of really old oil. Complete waste of money. Avoid at all costs.

Diner Review №118

Diner Review №119

Diner Review №120

Super good pad Thai and amazing decorations. As a carpenter, I greatly appreciate the Craftsmen that is displayed throughout the entire restaurant.

Diner Review №121

I know it's a lot to expect decent Thai food in the midwest, but this place just doesn't hit the mark. The masaman curry was watery, you can make it way better at home with a can of 2.00 curry from the Asian market. The vegetables in the pad Thai were canned. The best part of Thai food is that it's fresh and fragrant, the food here is neither. It's too bad, because the decoration and vibe is cute.

Diner Review №122

Diner Review №123

Diner Review №124

Don't let the location fool you, this is by far one of the best Thai restaurants I have ever gone to. Staff is incredibly kind and the food is authentic and delicious. Certainly a must try.

Diner Review №125

Don't let the location throw you off...the food and service are wonderful.

Diner Review №126

Toss-up depending on what you get. I got pad see ew and pineapple fried rice from there and thought it was pretty bad. Not flavorful. Really enjoyed their curries and appetizers! Overall decent prices. So I lean more towards a positive view.

Diner Review №127

The duck curry was nice until I found this cooked insect in my leftover. Absolutely traumatized. Visit at your own risk.

Diner Review №128

Green curry tastes good but portion size is abysmal and overpriced:/

Pad Kee mao tastes great!

Diner Review №129

Love dining in. The staff is always nice. Also, they have some great thick sauce for the peanut noodles. Favorite Thai place and make the drive to get their food!!!

Diner Review №130

Diner Review №131

Food was great. It may be getting close to time to upgrade tables/ chairs etc. But all the way around good experience for my first brush with Thai food.

Diner Review №132

Diner Review №133

It started ok. Obviously location is sad. After 30 years I can't believe the bombed out hotel hasn't been razed & remade at such a prime location. Anyhow, Siam is not the hotel. Drunken noodle flavor was good, but very little meat, all noodle. Pad Thai was decent. Duck. Ok. Ordered veg fried rice & it was wet, gray, not fried. Canned mushrooms. Black mold on cauliflower and absolutely disgusting. I threw it out. For $100 not impressed.

Diner Review №134

Diner Review №135

In spite of various food restrictions in our family, we all find great food here, especially appetizers. Very good Satay Gai and spring rolls.

Diner Review №136

We were in town for a friend’s beautiful wedding and stopped here for some lunch. It was perfectly amazing and we left knowing they cook with love!!!

Diner Review №137

Diner Review №138

Not the best I’ve tried, but not bad. Did comes out quickly and very good customer service. I ordered the volcano shrimp. It need a little more spice. The Thai fried rice was decent.

Diner Review №141

Solid 4.5 to 4.75 stars rounded to 5.

Pros:
- Excellent service
- Excellent atmosphere and decor
- The quality of the taste of the food is excellent.
- The presentation of the food is excellent.
- I really like this place. (I like the location, I like the parking I like that it’s a little hidden away but still easy to get to, I like everything about it)
- I feel this is an underrated restaurant people don’t know about.

Needs improvement:
- I really like this place quite a bit that’s why I’m not removing stars for this but this is just my advice: some prices especially on the Thai iced tea and the other teas are higher then they should be in relationship with the amount of effort and cost to make them, in my OPINION I would recommend lowering the cost of the Thai ice tea to $2.99 and the tea pots should be at $4.99 (in the long run it will benefit you a lot more but that’s just my thought). The cost of the main dishes have gone up, but quality definitely makes up for that and the cost is due to the times for living in so I understand it and will not gripe about it here.

Conclusion:
Went here for two both res celebrations at the same time absolutely love this place they do an outstanding job and outstanding service I think the service goes a huge way to make people happy. They also give a free fried ice cream per birthday, which was absolutely delicious. In my opinion this place is awesome to try out. We will definitely be back.

Diner Review №142

Portion size relative to price is predatory. I have nothing more to say besides that this meal you see here cost me $15. Would you pay even $10 for this? FYI, I haven't taken a bite yet

Diner Review №143

Ordered potstickers, what came was a deep fried who knows what, mostly wonton wrapper...at first we thought it was the crab rangoon since it came with sweet and sour sauce (of cheap commercial stuff), no potstickers sauce to be found. Next, the spring rolls were greasy with a mashed pasty filling, no plum sauce as requested just more of the cheap sweet and sour sauce. My husband ordered the vegetable medley with beef...there was one piece of broccoli and one slice of carrot, mostly a pinkish grey colored beef that looked like soupy dog food and he said it tasted like boiled chicken. I got chicken drunken noodles, which while somewhat spicy had zero flavor. The noodles were just a solid gummy brick..basically inedible, I through the whole thing out. I requested chopsticks, I got plastic sporks. For the bargain price of $60.00! This restaurant should be ashamed of itself!

Only pot store here😫

Diner Review №147

Was one of my favorite Thai restaurants until recently because the last few visits were disappointing. They must really be cutting corners because I was given a child size portion for $15. This is about 1/3 of the usual and I order the same thing every time.

Diner Review №148

Good food in an interesting setting. This place is adjacent to a seemingly abandoned hotel. Once you find your way in, it has an expansive menu that is not too expensive.

Diner Review №149

Diner Review №150

This has been our favorite Thai place in Ann Arbor for 15+ years. I've been disappointed in the last few visits, however, and today's order was particularly bad. Pad Thai had little flavor, no bean sprouts, no obvious egg, scant green onion, only three pieces of chicken, and noodles were very over-cooked, with sauce very unevenly mixed. Tom Yum soup tasted mostly just salty and like it had been made from simple bouillon; no complex flavors. Curry was watered down more than creamy and had very little chicken. Not sure if owners/cooks have changed or if the pandemic caused cost saving measures that decreased food quality, but I'm feeling sad and disappointed and missing our favorite Thai food.

Diner Review №151

Diner Review №152

The ambiance resembled a traditional Thai place and it looked very good!! Food was very tasty and spicy, felt very much like an authentic Thai restaurant! The employees were very kind as well! Overall, loved the place!!

Diner Review №153

Diner Review №154

Thai Ice tea with a bear is quite an experience! Also their Tom Khar soup is yummy! Decorations and interior is fabulous and hand curved! It’s a place hidden in the middle of nowhere but it certainly is worth the trip!

Diner Review №155

Wonderful food.

Diner Review №156

Had this place so many times. Idk what's happened to them recently but the pad ke maw noodles are normally red and spicy and saucy and what we got were white dry noodles with pepper flakes and undercooked broccoli. Also tasted vinegar-y not sure what that is. Pad thai had no peanuts and was not tasting good without the normal flavors. Sad I have to find a new Thai place.

Diner Review №157

Diner Review №158

Don't let the scummy hotel attached to the restaurant deter you from visiting.

Diner Review №159

Absolutely the worst Pad Thai I have ever had. Rice was over cooked as well, and the whole meal was less than mediocre.

Diner Review №160

Loved the dishes I've had so far, so many to choose from! Customer service is excellent!

Diner Review №161

One of my favorite places for Thai food in Ann Arbor. Really good decor, great ambiance. Love their food, you could never go wrong with them, but I love their pad Thai, panang curry and their fried wontons are probably my favorite. The people are really and friendly, never a dull conversation with them haha.

Diner Review №162

It was a wonderful experience, first time in this beautiful place, the service was excellent, I recommend this place to anyone who has a taste for cuisine food. Oh don't forget to request the Thai tea, it is the best thing I ever had.

Diner Review №163

This place is just wonderful all around it filled my heart with joy to finally get to go and everything was so delicious. The green curry was delicious and my none tea drinking friend fought for the last drop of tea. (^_^)

Diner Review №164

I got the panang curry and Thai iced tea which were both really good! Will come again

Diner Review №165

The Tom Khaw and Shrimp was impossible to stop eating. The Shrimp we're like butter and the Mushrooms swimming in it. Was back in several days later, and went with the Yellow Curry veg., Shrimp, and rice, with the smaller spring rolls, for with sauce....OMG! It's criminal!! Just needed a couple dabs of Thai pepper sauce(It's Mild as served, to suit wester.Taste), and it was Heavenly! It's a must visit! The west side needs a Siam Square..Ann Arbor is just too far!

Diner Review №166

I'm in love... It's all so good..

Delicious food, quick service, and friendly staff. Also appreciated that they were open later in the evening. All food was fresh and tasty in generous portions. Would definitely recommend for some comfort Thai food. The dessert puddings are a unique order for anyone who wants a light (comes with 3 tiny samplers) and unusual dessert.

This place is a gem! We were pleasantly surprised walking into the restaurant. The decor was cool and the food was delicious. Highly recommend.

Diner Review №173

Nice service and atmosphere, but the Beef Pad Thai I ordered was just simply not good. Extremely bland. Had to squeeze extra limes just to make it taste like something

Love all of the food here that I’ve tried, specifically the Siam Pad Thai and the chicken Khao Soi. So much flavor and delicious spices! I love the atmosphere and that it’s a little hole in the wall kind of gem. Super friendly staff, and the food always comes out in a reasonable time!

This used to be my favorite Thai restaurant, and I would have given it 6 stars if I could. However, I have been more and more disappointed with them over the last several years. The amount of food and the quality of the food has steadily decreased. My recent order of Hot Shrimp Red Curry was $18, which wouldn't be bad except it wasn't hot, it barely had any vegetables (like 6 small pieces of green bell pepper, and only a few medium shrimp, and the sauce wasn't as rich and flavorful as it used to be. It struck me as watered down from a can. The shrimp and veggies tasted and felt boiled and flavorless. This isn't worth the asking price, and with the time to pick it up, I could have made it myself. I'll be taking my business elsewhere, maybe I'll try back in a few years.

Great service and great food! Would highly recommend!

tasty, mild, pad thai 👌

Diner Review №178

I’m giving this five stars because the effort had to be top notch in making this dish. I’ve literally never tasted such bland Thai food… Do you see spice? I sure as heck don’t. These noodles are whiter than I am and I’m Irish. Even I know spice should go in food if you want flavor, but apparently no one told Siam. At least the noodles and broccoli were cooked (all five pieces of it). I wish I’d kept the $13 and delivered them some seasonings.

always a consistently good meal and friendly people! The appetizers are a great way to start.. I like the spring rolls and Chicken Satay... Then entree add the Thai ice tea and a dessert..mmmm

Not the perfect place for an Indian😊

Great food in an unsuspecting location. First tried this restaurant about 13 years ago and have never looked for another Thai place to order from because it's that good. 😁

Diner Review №182

I ordered pad thai for lunch from their Gubhub page, it did not include either egg or green onion as listed on the ingredients. Extremely dissapointed in the quality.

Diner Review №183

couldn't find the place at first and when I noticed where it was and how bad it looked from outside, it felt a little sketchy. I'm super happy we still tried it! Don't just the book by its cover. Once u get inside it's all good, and great service. The food was 10/10. I honestly can't wait to go back.

Awesome service and food.

My 1st time here and my meal was outstanding. I choose to dine in. Tom Kar soup is delightful and their House Duck entree was perfectly spicy. I cooled down that spicy Duck with a delicious Tai iced tea. I'm already planning a return visit.

Many options, great flavor, with intimate booths, and great decoration.

Place is awesome carved wooden elephant figures are worth going to look at has the best Tom kha Soup you will ever eat I like the shrimp but have had the chicken and it is also great also the golden shrimp deep-fried wrapped in noodle is one of my favorites you can tell I like shrimp everything there is really good

Diner Review №188

Food was fine. Pad Thai was not what you would typically expect in a bad way. Almost like it was noodles in a sweet and sour sauce instead of real pad Thai. Curry was fine, a bit watery. Overall, wouldn’t order from here again.

Diner Review №189

Horrible. I ordered Pad See Ew, which I've had many, many times from dozens of different places. Normally a saucy noodle dish, this had virtually no sauce whatsoever - the noodles were barely past white. It was bizarre. And there was zero spice. It was completely flavorless. Unfortunately, it was takeout and I was too far away to do anything about it once I opened it. Hate to waste food, but this was so completely dry and flavorless that I just threw it away.

Love the food especially the curry. Been going for 20 years. Hidden gem.

We’ve purchased food here 3 times, hoping that the next time it would be better. Unfortunately, the only item that is tasty here is the mango sticky rice. The pad Thai is very bland and flavourless, the panang curry tastes like beef deli meat was chopped and thrown in a pre-made broth. There is nothing “wow” about the appetizers with (e.g. dumplings are bland, fresh rolls barely had any shrimp in it).

Unfortunately, we will not be purchasing food here anymore, maybe just the mango sticky rice as a quick snack to go.

Amazing food and service!!!! We got the drunken noodles (had the perfect level of spice) and cucumber salad and it was all so delicious. Really kind staff too, I would highly recommend

I love this place. Every time I come here it's a special dinner and all of my friends had nothing but good things to say.

Diner Review №196

Ordered broccoli and chicken, got charged 12 bucks for the base of broccoli then two more bucks for chicken. ?? Also got vegetable rice noodle and it was pretty muchnflavorless! It sure was healthy tho since there was no flavor haha
