Serving traditional Laos & Thai dishes
Stopped by en route to the airport and this place did not disappoint! Beef pho was delicious, not too sweet and not many spices that you’ll find at Vietnamese restaurants. The papaya salad was hand shredded, the original way and the seasoning was savory and spiced to your preference. Laab CH was delicious as well with generous herbs and roasted rice powder, just the way I like it! The sausage is good as well but would have been better with ginger and lemongrass ingredients too too. The bathroom looks like it was built for hobbits so watch your head
as you head down there. Service was good and prompt, which I needed for the tight timeline we had to catch our flight. All in all, I highly recommend this place for its authentic and delicious menu!
We were there for our wedding anniversary. Went based on the online reviews, and they weren’t wrong. The food was great. We started with the summer rolls and they were large and tasty. The sauce that came with them was a perfect match. (ate them too quickly - no picture) I had the drunken noodles Thai spicy with tofu, and it was exactly as advertised. The noodles were perfectly done and the spice had a kick. Our water was was friendly and attentive.
Oh, Lowell. So many great Thai/Cambodian/Vietnamese/Lao restaurants and so little time. I'm here to say Laos Thai Kitchen is well worth your time and dollars. My only complaint here is that I didn't have enough room in my stomach to try more dishes. I tried the Nam Khao salad which was a taste sensation with spicy, crunchy, vegetal, sweet and tangy all mingling together in an extremely tasty package. I also tried the spicy wings -- addictive. Generous portions means you best believe I devoured a tasty treat for lunch today. I chatted with the owner who said the chicken feet and laab salad are musts -- take that under advisement. I'd also really like to try the morning glory and pork belly it looked amazing on the menu. I will be back!

Made another trip to Boston and had to go eat here again. Hands down one of my favorite restaurants in the world. Each dish is amazing. I ordered the beef laap and sister ordered the chicken laap. Hubby ordered the massaman curry. All portions are huge, service is as amazing as ever, and everything was delicious.
The chicken wings are a must. I make pretty good crispy wings but theirs were out of this world. Crunchy, juicy, lots of umami, and big ! The dipping sauce was great too. I highly recommend their mango sticky rice.
Take me backkkkk lol
Visiting from Toronto, i had to try this. my dish (beef laab with 3 stars aka 3 chilies) was one of the best things I have ever eaten in MY LIFE!! I cant describe it except that it was exceptional. The sticky rice itself was a bit hard but who cares. The portion sizes were massive. I am in love. I dream about this place.
My mother and I visited for a nice lunch at a new (to us) restaurant, and that's exactly what we got! With enough for leftovers, we ordered calamari, spring rolls, pan-fried dumplings, pineapple fried rice, panang curry, and Thai iced tea. All dishes were freshly prepared and delicious. I forgot to take photos before we dug into our dishes. The service was very kind; she even provided towels when I spilled water on myself :) It is a nice casual restaurant that we will certainly visit again.
The food was fresh, flavorful, and delicious! Crispy rolls were flaky and crispy, Kanom Jeep (pork and shrimp dumpling) was flavorful and fresh! Chicken Satay was awesome, definitely homemade and big, not frozen, pre-made stuff. Definitely on my repeat list!

Review for Laos Kitchen – 4.5/5
If you’re looking for authentic Thai food with bold, spicy flavors, [Restaurant Name] is a must-visit. The dishes here pack serious heat, so if you love spice, you won’t be disappointed! Their Drunken Noodles, spicy Boat Noodle soup, and spring rolls are bursting with flavor, and the chili sauces add an extra kick.
Service is friendly and efficient, and the food comes out fresh and fast. The only reason I’m giving 4/5 for atmosphere is that the decor is pretty basic—functional but not particularly inviting. It’s more of a casual spot, great for a quick meal but not necessarily for a long, lingering dinner.
Overall, if authentic Thai spice is what you crave, this place delivers! Just be ready for some serious heat.
We got the fresh rolls, cashew stir-fry with tofu and red curry soup. Food was amazing - deserves 7 out of 5 stars! Easy street parking. Attentive and friendly servers. Playlist was on point.
Wish they did Uber eats would order every week for lunch
I did a take out last night and the food was absolutely delicious!! Whatever we ordered turned out to be good. The only thing was that spring rolls were fresh and not the fried version but it was very tasty. It is very hard to find good places. I do not know sitting at their restaurant and eating wood be the best experience but the quality of food is very good for take outs. I recommend them unreservedly.
Very tasty noodle dishes. Knowledgeable about gluten-free requirements. Great option on Monday when other restaurants are closed.

Dumplings and calamari were delicious. Rice dishes are amazing.
Amazing food. As a lover of thai food this place hits the spot for me. The basil fried rice with tofu is legit. Also very vegetarian friendly. You can substitute any meat with tofu. I have only ordered takeout from this place but wouldn't be opposed to dining in . It always seems crowded (which shows it must be very authentic food ). Highly recommend !! 5/5
Update : ordered takeout here after a LONG time . The food s still good except there's a new receptionist who's kinda rude 😕
We stopped here for lunch on the way to Maine this summer, just found it randomly on Google. Several months later, and I still think about how amazing the laarb minced pork and herb plate was. Insanely flavorful, fragrant, spicy, fresh unique flavor, with sticky rice. I would hands down go back to Lowell, MA just to eat at this place. Service was great too! Bravo!
The staff are so incredibly nice and the food is amazing.
I highly highly recommend!!!
The food was absolutely incredible. We had no wait to get a table. The staff was friendly and hard working but very slow waiting on us. It took nearly an hour from the time we came in to get our food. It was ultimately worth it for how good it was. Would definitely return.
Amazing beautiful food. So fresh. Friendly service. Definitely come again. Had the chicken laab and chicken drunken noodles. Absolutely perfect
Crispy, savory, aromatic…Nam khao is perfect!!

The shrimp summer rolls are absolutely AMAZING would definitely recommend. I didn’t love the papaya salad, though, but that’s probably just because it was a different style than what I usually have. Also, prices were quite expensive. I got just those two things, and after tax and no tip (since I got take-out), it came to $25, which, if you ask me is a bit expensive.
I had an amazing experience at Laos Thai Kitchen! The food was absolutely delicious with each bite bursting with flavor. The ambiance was warm and inviting and the service was awesome. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful time. I highly recommend thus place to anyone looking for an outstanding dinning experience. The food was awesome! Good size portions, food was hot in temp. And right amount of spice. I think I will fly back all the way from Texas to dine here.
Highly recommend I enjoyed the appetizers especially the crab ragoon. First place i have dined in at in the Lowell area where the crab ragoons were amazing. Enjoy the ice coffee and the meals were seasoned to perfection.
Absolutely amazing. The depth of flavor, the balance of sweet and spicy; can't wait to go back and be more brave about the spice level 🌶️

A must try place, and probably the best Asian food in town. Very authentic and delicious, and owner is very kind.
Had the beef laab, crispy egg rolls, Lao fried rice among other dishes. Everything was delicious.

Update: changed my 1 star a year ago to 5 stars.
I haven't ordered to go since that last review but I have gone to eat there in person. Recommended for sure in person. Unsure if the phone orders have improved. But delicious 😋. Yumm!!! Oh, brought mymom here when she came to visit Mass. 5/5 in person dining and she said intestine soup was authentic.
A year ago: I love the food here and they're extremely busy all the time. Which is awesome for them. Hopefully they can find help and give better customer service. I recommend if you eat here to go in person, because phone orders probably will never happen.
I've tried on 4 different occasions to call for a pick up order. This is 4 different times within 3 months. First 3 attempts, no one picked up. Probably just busy and so I ordered somewhere else.
Today, I finally got a hold of someone but was placed on hold immediately, patiently waiting, 12 mins goes by and still no one gets back on the line. I assumed they had forgotten about me. After 13 mins, someone hangs up on me. I was irritated and obviously upset. I composed myself before I called back. I didn't want to yell and be a B to whomever is going to be on the other line. I know places get busy. I call back less than 5 mins later and immediately placed on hold again. Expressing I would rather not be on hold, but she did it anyways. Less than 2 mins later, waitress comes back on. I explained to her I had a complaint. Let her know my recent experience with the restaurant and I understand that a restaurant can be busy but literally got tired of it. I was going to place an order for 8 items but now I don't think I'll be giving them service. The anxiety of wondering if I'll be able to place an order over the phone is ridiculous.
Not worth wasting my lunch break over. I do not recommended this restaurant if you want to order for pick-up.
Just had my favorite dish from this place. Grapow Gai with white rice. It's a bit too hot for me, but along with the white rice, it hits the spot. Very flavorful and big portion. My second favorite is the Crazy Noodles also very delicious. Thank you for making such a amazing food. Staff is also very nice. You won't be disappointed.
Wow!
Very good food and porcions!
The service is absolutely terrible at this restaurant. I waited an hour to get my food. Two other tables ended up leaving before getting their food after waiting an hour. Water wasn’t even served in the hour of waiting and then I had to ask for utensils and water. The food is overly spicy and service is terrible. Also the menu prices do not match the bill. Do not recommend to anyone.
Delicious noodle soups
AMAZING Food, for what you pay the portions are huge. Very well seasoned food and the customer service is on point. Highly recommend Lao style Fried rice, Papaya Salad level 3, and The Calamari
My Lao parents moved down south so intricate dishes such as Nam Khao, Crispy Lad Nah, and Papaya salad are staples I must have regularly. Laos Thai Kitchen hits the nail on the head and really emulates the flavors and textures that reminds me of my familys cooking. Please keep it going! The food is very on par of what you would expect from your Lao grandmother and Lao mother. It’s is a piece of home I have and cannot say enough good things about this place!!
Good food, nice small restaurant.
I ordered take out will be ready 25 to 35minute. Got there 1 hour late. My foods still not ready. I was told to wait another 25 minutes. They're didn't even make my foods yet. And I only ordered 2 things. No communication or anything. Wasted my time and gas. Bad business and suck at customer service.
Amazing food! Great service! Great atmosphere & customer service!
Amazing food, friendly staff. Very quiet usually.
Small restaurant with only one not too patient server/receptionist. Ingredients were not fresh and cheap, boat noodle soup tasted terrible, coconut milk noodle soup was overly sweet. Not worthy for the quality, especially already charging almost $17 for a bowl of noodles.
As mentioned by another reviewer who left a review 2 months ago about their fake prices, they still not changing the price and not informing people before ordering besides their small hand writing cards on the wall.
I give benefit of doubts that they haven’t change every single paper menu, but there’s no excuse for not changing the special menu on the board, very sketchy.
Fake prices on both regular and special menus. Make sure you ask how much more they are charing for each dish before placing your order, almost every item is $3-$5 more after tax.
Taste is lightly worse than other similar restaurants.
Food is fresh and flavorful. Reasonably priced. First time and will be back! Want to try more items.
This place is amazing.. The food is the most authentic and delicious I’ve been able to find here in New England. For context, I spent 4 months in Thailand and 1 month in Laos in the last year and this food brought me back across the world. Thank you to the friendly staff member today as well :)
Incredible food in a little, unassuming restaurant. No ambience but there are amazing noodle dishes
Double check your bill. All of my items were the wrong price and my drink was double the price of the menu listing! A $20 meal marked up to $30 and it wasn’t even good. Don’t eat here unless you want to get ripped off. Just go down the street.
Fake prices on their official website - expect $4 more each dish. We called to order something that’s marked $7.95, but they charged us $11.95 for it. There’s no way for us to know ahead of time. They didn’t mention it either when we called.
They said that the prices on their website are Pre-Covid, and they are working on it. It’s interesting to see that they haven’t yet got the time to update the online prices since then - intentionally or not?
The food was fresh, flavorful, and delicious! Crispy rolls were flaky and crispy, Kanom Jeep (pork and shrimp dumpling) was flavorful and fresh! Chicken Satay was awesome, definitely homemade and big, not frozen, pre-made stuff. Definitely on my repeat list!

Always amazing been to Thailand and Vietnam and the food is authentic. Be careful with the spice level, because like I said this is the real deal. Tapioca balls, Pad See Ew, Pho and incredible green papaya salad. Can't go wrong. I almost hate to say this because I don't want crowds but it's that good. Service is friendly and helpful. Dinein and take out.
The Thai Boat Noodles was INCREDIBLE!!!! Honestly the best I've had in the US.
I was looking for a "late" dinner (around 8 pm) and this was one of the only Laotian/Thai restaurants that seemed to be opened later.
The food was amazing and very authentic - coming from someone who grew up in a Thai neighborhood. I had the boat noodles and my boyfriend had the morning glory and pork belly. Be warned, it is spicy but you can probably ask to have it less spicy. The Thai iced tea is freshly brewed everyday and not overly sweet like the Americanized version. We also got the stuffed tapioca balls, which was a very unique thing that I've never seen before, but a Def try since I doubt you can get it anywhere else.
I also happened to meet Donna, the owner and head chef, and she was such a sweetheart.
One of the best meals I've had in a long time. Interesting flavours abound. I had the Larb Moo, furiously spicy just as I like it (we can skirt around how pork in this language is "Moo"), and variously around the table we had mango fried rice, Pad Thai, Boat Noodles and some chicken foot soup. It all got attacked with vigour although the Boat Noodles kind of got forgotten and showed up about as most of us were nearly done. Some portions were big and so there were plenty of leftovers to take too.
Delicious. We tried the chicken wings, papaya salad, pad see ew and pad thai
Had the sukiyaki which was new to the menu. Everything from the broth, to the meats and veggies inside meshed very well. Highly recommend this spot
Food is great, service and management is very bad.
Had an okay experience here. The service was a bit jumbled and slow but the food was overall pretty tasty. Not the best Thai food in the area.
Absolutely fantastic, so fresh and flavorful, cannot recommend enough
Best Thai food in Lowell! Honesty, it's fantastic. My girlfriend and I go here nearly every Friday for lunch. The food is fantastic and the prices are very reasonable. If you want good Thai food check them out.
My first time trying this place and I tell you this is the best Tom yum soup I’ve ever had and the chicken wings are amazing. The larp is spicy but so flavorful I can’t get enough.
After looking for authentic Thai Lao food with many good reviews, I chose to go here. Food is okay but not really satisfied with some order. Thai Basil comes with a bunch of scallions, bell peppers, and onions which is not authentic. I asked the waitress and she said they use scallions and top it in most of their food. Sweet taste is in all plates. Not impressive for first time.
Great place nice workers
Small diner for a good taste and fair cost.
Great service, delicious choices.
We love this place, delicious food and excellent service!
my absolute favorite asian restaurant in lowell!! i love trying new dishes everytime i come here and i’ve never had one i didn’t like. you definitely need to give this place a try!! owner is also super sweet!!
Why can you named your restaurant Laos & not including Thai named. Do you see Thai restaurant on this planet with Laos & Thai named together. I don't think so. I'm very disappointed.
Food is not worth the 45 min wait. Very sweet drunken noodles with no spice and swimming in oil. Pho broth and noodles were ok, but only a few bites of meat. The fried rice tasted burnt and we never actually received our Tom yum soup. Staff was uncommunicative and unapologetic until it was time to pay the bill (tip). No idea where the good reviews are coming from.
Food was pretty tasty, I definitely enjoyed my meal. They were out of a number of items we attempted to order, which was disappointing. The decor was pretty basic, but you can tell this is a family restaurant. Definitely recommend if you like that kind of aesthetic.
Excellent authentic taste
The food is excellent. Service is a bit slow, but worth the wait. I only find the attendant (owner?), the one with fake eyelashes, Very rude and condescending, from the way she throws the menu at you to the way she talks down on you. I"ve been there three times this week, and her ways are really despicable. They could probably make more business, or people like me just put up with it in exchange for the comfort food. I hope that her family back in the kitchen, take note of this. They are probably not aware or notice this since they are busy at the sizzling woks. Good luck.
Great service, great food, great people! Highly recommend. Have had the drunken noodles several times and pho is fantastic. Enjoy!
I want to keep this secret but I feel I have to tell my fellow humans that this place is AMAZING. Literally can't go wrong, pay attention to spice level but even burning spice is incredible and authentic. The real deal.
Chicken with Spicy noodles and pork basil fried rice were delicious and fresh!
Every serving that I got were too sweet for me but they're good.
Serving size: Their serving could be good for 2 persons!
Place is nice and clean.
Phenomenal lunch. Two standout dishes: Larb gai - a minced chicken salad that was super tasty - nice fresh herbs, black pepper and spices - lemony dressing - one of the best I have ever had. Isan sausages which came with sticky rice - lean homemade pork sausages with a baked almost caramelized exterior. Again some of best sausages that I have had. Super homemade spicy tomato relish. Definitely will be back!!!
I am so glad we found this restaurant. It is family run by Donna and Lucy. They are very inviting and welcoming. Their food is absolutely amazing! We have been there many times and tried a variety of dishes. My favorites are the papaya salad which gives us that hit of sour and spicy which they can tailor to how much heat you can handle. The chicken Larb is also delicious, it is packed with flavor, like a party 🥳🎉 happening in your mouth. I tried their boat noodle but that broth was too rich for me, I prefer the pho with seafood or their off menu innards noodle soup. I would also recommend their fried chicken and mango sticky rice for dessert. You really can't go wrong with any of the dishes here.
Good food Good services love ❤️ we will come back Thank you for young Boy services
I just didn't enjoy the food.
Food is exceptional! Despite the wait, it is worth it!
We came from Tucson Arizona and Donna(owner) made us feel like family. Amazing fried chicken feet and Lao sausage. We highly recommend this place.
Amazing food! Drunken Noodles and Morning Glory are a must try.
Restaurant could use some cleaning.
This restaurant will serve you fresh, fulfilling, and flavorful food! My friend and I ordered the perfect amount of food and I can definitely say it will leave you feeling more than satisfied. First picture is the Sai Qua Thai sausages, nice balance of sweet and salty crispy on the outside but perfect on the inside. Second is Thum Mak Houng (papaya salad) the balance of shrimp paste, crab paste, snd much more … you will get flavor in every bite and we got 5/6 spice level and it was not as spicy! 😊 third picture is Crispy Lad Nar which was basically white noodles but this time it was crispy. I loved the texture in every bite it was much different than the usual that I order but I actually prefer it that way now 🤣 but the last picture are the Crab Rangoons …. I will say less because they’re always good!
I had the egg rolls and the basil chicken.
The food is extremely fresh and the egg rolls and sauce were really good. Service was good. My only complaint was the grapao gai. It was good but way too spicy that it masked the flavors, but the fried egg that comes with it was great, nice and crispy. I’ll have to ask to make it less spicy next time and try again, but maybe I’ll order a different item next time.
Other than that I recommend this place.
Cute restaurant, friendly employees who are kind and quick. Reasonable prices for amazing, quickly made food. Will definitely be coming back!
Just tried there beef Pho 😋 delish yummy awesome goodness.
Thank you so much Lucie
Best Pad Thai in Lowell, and they face some tough competition too. Best peanut sauce as well. Lady at the front was kind too :) 5/5 for sure
Perfect tasty great family own carring place
Amazing spring rolls, also very cheap.
Fresh food and friendly service!
Came in for dinner on a whim and wow, were we impressed. We started with the crispy roll which had a ton a flavor. We could’ve eaten 2 more orders of these… so good! My partner had the Drunken Noodle which had tons of fresh vegetables and was just delicious. I had the Pho with chicken. The broth was so fresh and tasty and it came with a generous side of bean sprouts, fresh Thai basil, and more to mix in. We cannot wait to come back to try more dishes! Service was very good, too!
Delicious
My go to dor Thai in Lowell! By far the best tasting Thai food in the city.
The best food in Lowell
So amazing!
Amazing food, owner and flavor. Just left and already want to go back for more!! I want to try everything on the menu :) Keep up the great work Chef Donna and team!
When one door closes and another door opens… We stumbled upon this spot for our family dinner and boy was it delicious. 5 huge stars!!
We have eaten a lot of Thai food all around the world and this was one of are favorites by far! Every dish was put together perfectly with the right amount of heat, sweet, and depth of flavor.
The owner and Chef, Donna, came out to say hi and thank us for coming out to support her restaurant. This place has only been open for a little over a year now and will now be our new family lunch/dinner spot for Thai food. Thank you Chef!! See you soon :)
Delicious food, fast and friendly.
Absolutely love the authentic dishes especially the boat noodles and fried chicken feet! So yummy!
Everything's good and the servers are super nice (it can be slow but it's because they're making everything right there- just plan ahead). I've had the thum lao and khao piak sen, both great, esp with the option to sprinkle on all the condiments ( no idea what some are, one is a spiced peanut and another is chili in oil… all are delicious)
Good food, Good service
Lovely restaurant and fantastic food and service! Great staff 👍 👏 👌
Had a great lunch with coworkers the other day. We ordered more food and I thought I should leave a review because their food and the service is top of the line. Thanks
Absolutely amazingly awesome. REAL authenticity thru and through. Wonderful service. The food was the best I've ever had.
Dishonest pricing at this place
Their coconut juice is listed as $2 on the menu. They billed me for $4. I said the menu says $2. They said it's out of date, and still wanted me to pay $4.
DOUBLE the price is not out of date. These are dishonest people. Just put stickers over the price with the updated price like every other restaurant.
Curries are great. Loved the mango fried rice and summer rolls.
I loved the restaurant it was very clean and had a very family like feel. The food was fresh, great quality and overall fantastic! I will definitely go back!
Hands down, one of the best restaurants in Lowell. Authentic flavors, great dish decor and aroma. They really know their spices! Make sure you ask for mild spiciness if you cant handle spice. Family owned and the owners are the nicest people you’ll ever meet! (They had to refilled my water 8 times cause i couldn’t handle my spice) Every single dishes here are so has the perfect combination of savory, spicy, sweet and well presented. Definitely our go-to place for Laos Thai Foods!
Can’t recommend this place enough. I never leave reviews but absolutely have to give this place more than 5 stars. Amazing family run business with fantastic food and great service. My family and I will be back!
I really enjoyed the food
Excellent Thai food
I love this restaurant!! They have the best laos food!! My new favorite restaurant!!we love Richie ,he’s so friendly and professional.
Everyone has different dinning experience. On April 10th, 2021, we went to eat there, there was no customer, only 2 of us when we arrived. We sat at the table around 2 minutes, the waitress came and took our orders. She didn't write it down, she put in her head. All of sudden more customers arrived and the waitress started to confuse. Half hour later, she came to us and asked what did we order, we told her again. The customers sat next to us got their food about 30 minutes, they arrived after us. We waited more than an hour, we still didn't get our food. We figured out, the waitress had never placed an order of our food. She never admitted nor apologized her mistake. We desired to leave the place. Wasting our time. Be sure she writes it down your order.
The owner and her daughter is super nice. The food was really good and tasty. If you not really good with a spicy food I recommend to tell them to make 1 star spicy or less. I’m so happy to found this place.
Friendly service, decent food, average prices.
Just make sure you check the lid on the container as they didn't do a good job sealing the container and sauce leaked out of the bag onto my pants and shoes. (Perhaps they should switch to plastic bags.)
food is acceptable but a bit sweet.
Authentic Lao food. My favorites are Pak Boung Fi Dang(stir-fried Morning glory veg) and Papaya Salad.
Yummy boat noodles, but be careful of the peppers. The broth comes spicy.
The chicken feet seasoning is perfect with beer or wine. You can bring your own wine at the moment but ask first.
My husband's favorite is the vegggie pad thai w/ no eggs.
Location is good, plenty of street parking.
Small family own with great service.
A buddy of mines recommended that I try their boat noodles and it didn’t disappoint me at all if anyone is looking for authentic Laos cuisine this is the place for you
Wow! Everything I tried here so far is really good. One of my top restaurants in Lowell.
Food was good. 2nd time ordering here. The order was wrong but Lucy Took care of it. Would definitely recommend this place! It’s good!
Great food and good service
My experience was phenomenal! The service was impeccable, treated like a family member in this small business!
