This is my favorite Thai place in the DMV. It's very affordable and delicious. From the appetizers to the main dishes. It has a small eating area, but I've always gotten a seat.

I asked if they could remake it with tofu and they did free of charge which was beyond kind. It was a seasonal pumpkin curry and was so good and filling! Worth the price and I will come again. Interior was clean and decorated very cute. Overall great experience!

I amyself got the vegetable mix with mixed seafood (but changed to squid only). I was quite impressed with the amount of squid it was just the right amount.

Everyone liked their food, one dish was a bit too spicy. And my seafood/squid dish were not spicy enough, a bit bland. It was good but I missed the classic Thai punch 👊.

Our waitress were very helpful and friendly. She helped us getting the best possible orders.

All in all I would highly recommend dining here.

Great authentic Thai food! No chopsticks and smells of fish sauce, that’s how you know it’s good. Exceptional service and we enjoyed the vibe and food. I 100% recommend the dusty pork, so so good! Get in there before it’s gone!

BEWARE!!!! This restaurant's website is having "unknown issues." They charged my card for a $70 order, then the website gave an error message, and the restaurant has no record of the transaction and offers no solutions!!!

This place is so good. I come here probably once a week. Their shrimp cakes are out of this world. Pad Thai never fails to be delicious. And the basil fried rice with crispy pork is insane.

I have been ordering from them for more than 5yrs and I have been going there about 2x a week on my unch break for almost 1yr now for the lunch special never had problems until today. When I wasn't able to finish my food and asked for a to go box the server told me that I can't take my food because it's lunch special and I am supposed to finish my food and that was the last time he would give me a to go box. He said he could only give me 1 to go box and not 2 for my food and that next time I had to order regular menu and not lunch special. I told him I had been coming there for almost 1 yr for their lunch specials and I have never encountered that problem. I told him I wouldn't go there anymore and he said it's ok I didn't have to go there. When I asked for the manager and the owners info he said he wasn't gonna give it to me. Very very rude and it is the last time I'll go there!!! I guess I will be going to a different place from now on since he didn't care about me not going there anymore.

Mango salad is amazing! Sweet and spicy. We had the panang chicken and charm Thai noodle special. Both dishes were packed with flavor. The restaurant has limited seatingbwhich allows them to get food out fast and piping hot. This place will be going on our restaurant rotation.

Food was tasty, and price was reasonable. The only thing was that I noted no spicy in the mobile order but the food was spicy. I will forgive it and give it another try.

This is my favorite Thai place! The pad see ew is amazing, along with the panang curry and fried spicy duck. This is where I fell in love with mango and sticky rice and it is still my favorite place to go for this dessert.

Great Thai food

First visit to this charming restaurant on Market Street in Lemoyne. The food was delicious, well prepared and portions generous. Impressive amount of meat in each dish we ordered. We ordered mild but will spice it up a bit on the next visit. Staff were very friendly. The atmosphere was pleasant and the space clean and inviting.

Good stuff. Ordered Fried Tofu Pad Ka Pow. Would order again. Wish it was a bit spicier, but that's just me. What really impressed me was the short wait time between ordering and getting my food! 5 mins maybe? Less?

Phone number of restaurant is down. Last week door dash said our delivery was lost entirely. Something maybe off with the delivery service from charm thai. This week food arrived using the Uber eats app without any confirmation.

I ordered a dish with tofu but the tofu had gone bad - it tasted horrible. The dish itself was good the tofu was not.

I ordered door dash from here because I was craving Thai food but I wanted to try a new spot ! They did not disappoint. I got the drunken noodles and it was sooooo good and flavorful. And for dessert I tried the taro roti. I fell in loveeee so crispy and the center taste amazing and not too sweet !! Definitely can’t wait to order again !!

I usually order pad thai from them. I decided to ordered Thai wings and they gave me 7-eleven wings. I haven't had 7-eleven wings in years, but I knew it. Please stop playing with your customers. If I wanted 7-eleven wings, I would have went to 7-eleven.

Ordered (delivery) the yellow curry and it was watered down. It was like they ran out of sauce end of the night and cut the sauce in half with water. No flavor in it at all. Ticked off about something that disappointing.

I went to pick up food and I was greeted with utter rudeness. There was a woman in front of me who was handed her food but when I went to grab mine, she plopped it on the table and walked away. So rude! Then I later went home and found a hair in my food. 0/10 would NEVER recommend!!!

I ordered the crispy pork rice, spring rolls and wings. The crispy pork rice was amazing, a bit too spicy. The spring rolls were ok. The wings were soooo salty and I believe they are frozen not fresh 😒😒😒

I’ve tried many pad kee mao (drunken noodles) at different Thai restaurants and I’ll have to say that this was one of my favorite drunken noodles — the smoky flavor from the slightly-charred noodles really adds to it. A lot of the dishes here are excellent. The only qualm I had about their pad Thai was that it was way too sweet, it almost tasted as if they used ketchup rather than tamarind sauce.

Tasty thai food

Food was great! We ordered the Pad Ka Pow w/ minced chicken and Chicken Kee Mao Fried Rice. Make sure to choose spice level according to your spice tolerance. We chose medium spice level and it gave a good kick. Overall, it tasted delicious!

Panang curry, sticky mango rice, fried rice, and everything else on the menu is great. A good of spiciness with the coconut and peanut sauce makes the panang curry delicious. Staff are quick, and friendly.

I've been going here for years. They are always so polite. (My favorite server works a few months then travels for a few months then works a few months then travels - he always has amazing stories and pictures to share.) The food is consistently good. I am from SE Asia and am very particular on SE Asian food. This is one of my favorite places in the U.S. and my favorite Thai restaurant in the DC area. Highly recommend this place.

It seems that if I dined in, the food would be decent. But I ordered the crispy duck thru Uber Eats, and it was anything but crispy!!! : (. I do think they have an interesting variety. I tried a new dessert that I've never seen before, the tarot root roti, and it was good.

Delicious, authentic Thai food. We had the Papaya Salad, Satai Gai, Laab, and Drunken Noodles. All of it was excellent.

The prices are very agreeable and service is quick. Definitely recommend.

The restaurant environment is not very clean.
The staffs are friendly and laugh inside often during the work hours.
The food, pineapple fried rice and Tun-yam noodle tastes ok.
Fried rice is a little bit greasy but acceptable. Noodle soup is too salty but flavorful.

Very good food, one thing just to be aware of is that this restaurant loves spice and heat. So be careful when asking for additional spice to the dishes. A good variety of items on the menu along with new items for each month. Will come back again!

We are Thai and we are pleased for what we ordered. These food are not common in the US market. In general, they taste good even some might not taste as authentic like home but we are please. For those common food like Pad Thai, green curry, fried rice and such. They are great. Highly recommended.

This is my wife's and my go-to Thai spot in Silver Spring. It's amazing. We've probably tried 25 different dishes over the past 3 years, and between delivery and dine-in have probably ordered here 40 times. It has ALWAYS been amazing. I'm not kidding when I say that we've never had a mediocre or bad experience there; it's just consistently perfect. Their staples like pad thai, green curry, panang curry, and tom kha soup are all fantastic. But what truly sets this place apart is the constantly rotating list of chef's specials. My family lived in Thailand when I was a kid, and this place takes me right back to my time there.

If you live in the area, be sure to use the restaurant's own website to order take-out or delivery through them.

There’s nothing charming about this place! I ordered the dinner shrimp fried rice and they only give 4 large shrimps, unbelievable such a stingy establishment.

Charm Thai is our local go-to spot for quick delivery. Love that they have their own delivery service (if within range) so you don't have to just rely on Uber Eats or a similar service with their own markup.
I love their panang curry and their fried dumplings. Their food is always on point, and their delivery is almost always ahead of schedule.
I haven't personally dined in, just pick up or delivery, but if you're in the area, definitely check Charm out!

Great food, usually consistently good even when ordering through Uber Eats, but sometimes the restaurant just forgets to include rice with their dishes. Make it clear in the notes and maybe that will help? Otherwise, there's no recourse.

The best Thai food in silver spring. I think I’ve tried every Thai restaurant downtown and Charm Thai is the best. The pad see ew and the Pad Thai are amazing. I’ve tried some of their curries and other random dishes that were also good.

Aside from the Thai tea, the rest of the dishes taste nothing like Thai food. Their Pad Ka Pow is not made with ground meat and lacks spices(see image). I barely sense the basil. Better buying instant packages from the Asian market and cooking , than getting food from there.

I visited because they are a member of my air mileage dining club and I was nearby. I had the mixed vegetables and beef along with the bikini shrimp. They both were delicious and filling. Excellent and friendly service.

This restaurant is strange. I ordered on uber eats and the restuarant called me to say we can only give you 2 sauces instead of 4 which I requested for, meaning you can only get 1 soy sauce and 1 hot sauce, my order was over $50. Another time I ordered they canceled and never got back to me , th customer service is the worse here. I don't know what to say .

I recently ordered the drunken noodles and Pad Thai and I have to admit I was very disappointed! The drunken noodles were over cooked, veryyy oily and had way too much vegetables- Drunken noodles normally dont have veggies - And the Pad Thai noodles were so thin you would think it was spaghetti - Pad Thai is not supposed to be like that. I have been to numerous Thai restaurants and this isn’t the best if you really know how Thai food is supposed to taste!

So i got a refund but there was a maggot in my food. Im not really the type to make a big deal out of bugs but that means something in their kitchen is rotting...

Ordering online was very easy and convenient Food arrived right at the scheduled time. Everything tasted good and just as we requested (e.g. spicy level). Price was very reasonable as well!

Delicious veggie pad thai, have ordered it multiple times over the past month! That said, their pad thai meat (version: chicken and steak) is perhaps over-cooked and the dumplings taste a bit off. Can't speak for the rest of the menu, but the veggie pad thai is great!

The food is good but the carryout packaging is terrible... why does it seem like all Asian restaurants insist on using plastic? Aren't there cardboard/aluminum alternatives? It's not only the thick plastic black containers with clear lids (which are recyclable, but still), but also #6 clamshell, which I have to just throw away. So sad. Come on Charm Thai - can you find some better packaging??

Disappointed. I was so ready for the sweetness of crab in the crab fried rice, but the whole dish was overshadowed by the taste of black pepper, of which I'm not a fan. The fried chicken dumplings were okay, but I wouldn't return for them either. Sorry folks.

We've been ordering from Charm Thai for several years now and have always been so happy. We usually order panang curry, mango and sticky rice, kee mao fried rice and pad see ew - we've had this for dinner so many times I can't even count! Their food is delicious and well-priced and the staff are great. We've eaten in the restaurant many times, but have really appreciated their takeout safety changes through the pandemic. Everything feels very safe and the food continues to be delicious.

I ordered veggie Kai soi soup among other things over Uber eats. I have ordered and dined in before and I have never had any problems. When the order arrived it had shrimp and chicken. I politely called and explained to them that I am a vegan and I do not eat meat. I asked for a new order to be delivered. The lady on the phone took 15min to understand and indicated that she will call back to confirm if they are even able fulfill my request. I agreed and waited. When I didn't hear from the woman after 20mins, I called to inquire about my order. She lied (yes, lied, because I was by my phone the entire time) and said she called me back. She then took my address and and then the order over again and had the audacity to say that the order will take 45 to 1hr. Not to mention I a live less that 4min away from the restaurant. ALSO, she say to me that i have to put the food that was delivered back into the container and return it back to them. By this point I am extremely irritated therefore I tell her never mind, I would like a refund and she proceeded to tell me that I need to call Uber eats to get my refund (which I understood). Then I ask for a manager and the woman continuously reiterated that I need to call Uber eats for a refund. I continuously explained that I understood but I still wanted to speak to some type of management. She refused to put management on the phone and eventually told me to call Thursday to speak with someone name Nom. VERY DISAPPOINTING!!!

We have tried quite a few Thai restaurants in Silver Spring/DC, but this is hands down our favorite. Their veggies are plentiful and varied (peppers, eggplant, onion, carrots, peas, etc.) in their curries, rather than just bamboo shoots. The Pad Thai and Drunken Noddle dishes are also fantastic. Highly recommend!

The ambience of the actual restaurant is a bit lacking, so wouldn’t be my choice of place to dine in...but the food is on point! The Charm Thai Fried Rice is so flavorful. The KaoSoi is fantastic, spring rolls...shrimp cakes. All so good!

It's a carryout with tables.

We came in January 2020 and the place was always cold because of the customer pick ups, and the comings and goings of the delivery staff. 2-3rds of the area is the narrow corridor. Even if there was good weather, it would be an uncomfortable and unsettling environment.

Food is pretty good and formulaic of the cultural cuisine but sweetened to the typical American diabetic-indusive taste, which subtracts from any sense of authenticity. With the dinner so sweet, we had to skip dessert (and if you are diabetic, it'll be wise for you too). Even the plate of the hot food was cooled - nice for a salad, not for curry.

The small dining area and constant carryout customers taking priority over the diners, kills the ambiance, so this is not where I'd go to for a date again. And with only 4 parking spaces in front, makes pick up difficult.

Only my Shell Rewards brought me here.

I was most surprised by the desert, very traditional and very yummy.

If you haven't visited it's just off Georgia Avenue with plenty of convenient parking nearby.

I have the pad Thai it was good but short on the shrimps. I’ve tried other dishes and they where good too. There quality and the flavor 👍🏼
One star less because of the shrimp.

The food here is great and I've been a fan of everything I've tried. I usually order to go or have it delivered rather than dining in, but the restaurant itself seems to have a nice vibe when I've been waiting for my order. Of the appetizers, I like the curry puffs while my girlfriend lines the shrimp cakes. The girlfriend is much more habitual in her choice of entree, almost always getting the Pad Ka Pow with shrimp. On the other hand, I like switching it up and will usually choose between the Panang, Green and Massamun curries with either chicken or beef and the Nua Ka Ting (which is probably my single 'favorite' dish, although I like many).

Everything always tastes fresh and flavorful, the meat is always tender and juicy, and the high level of quality is extremely consistent. I can't remember having been disappointed even once. Getting extra rice with your entree is recommended, in my opinion, to absorb all the delicious sauce. Oh, and a Thai iced tea to wash it all down with is a good idea, too.

Cozy Thai spot with delicious and authentic offerings. We ordered the Tom Kha soup which was filled with coconut milk, lemongrass, cilantro, button mushrooms and chicken and we split a Chicken Pad Thai. The soup was both tangy and sweet which made for the perfect combination and the Pad Thai was pretty good, could have been a bit spicier and less soupy. The service was fine - patrons in the restaurant who sat down after us and ordered after us received their entrees before we did which was a bit frustrating but overall the experience was good. We’ll be back.
