This minimalist Thai nook offers a range of spiced-to-order, traditional dishes & a full bar.
The food looks and taste is not like authentic thai food (the pad krapow is too far from the authentic thai food). It is too american already. So sad for my expectations, because it is first time my pad krapow (beef thai basil) is way too far from what I always eat on other thai restaurants, but the pad thai still acceptable, the mango sticky rice sauce is a bit too sweet and the sauce is too runny but still okay, so far maybe good for american.
Good Thai cuisine available at around area. By seeing the reviews we stopped here for Saturday night dinner. While entering only couple of tables were occupied but by the time we finish our food , most of the tables were full. Service was super fast , attentive staffs, enough table space, nice ambience , clean and well maintained space. Restrooms were clean , prices are up to standard Thai cuisine price , we somewhat liked the food but recommend to try once, there are some unique selection in this place and how they are making some standard food on their way, like chicken satay they drizzle the coconut milk on top of it and served with lettuce . We ordered lemongrass chicken soup(which is ok for our taste), basil fried rice we ordered hot and it was too much of beans in it, liked the satay, nom sod is fresh salad and tasted good especially the roasted peanuts gives flavor bust. Will recommend this place at least try once. Easily accessible and located in a complex which shares the parking space . Means has a lot of car parking space.
This place was a real confluence of juxtapositions. The setting was plain and very unappealing on entrance. The food was amazing in flavor and presentation and the floors and walls looked like folks ate with a lot of gusto. But I digress, the pad Thai was the bean curd variety. The bean curd was derived and fried so it had more texture than the silken version. There was a light sprinkling of peanuts and the sauce was more delicate than I am accustomed. But it was delicious. The noodles were a little soft for my liking just a little too cooked. The seafood cabaret featured 4 green lip mussels and shrimp and squid. The broth was a bit spicy but certainly it did not even make it to Texas hit mush less Thai spicy. A tad sweet and creamy. The rice was there just a carrier for the broth. The soup was AMAZING it was creamy, “coconutty”, and pleasantly spicy for me not too hot but maybe a little more spicy than most folks would like. The price was an exceptional value. We had enough leftover for a second meal! It was delicious reheated the next day.
Excellent food! The Chicken satay was huge and so good. Their peanut sauce and sweet marinaded cucumber onion mix are beyond yummy. The Tom yum shrimp soup was the 2nd best I've ever had. Also got a side of veggies.
Staff is really unprofessional and rude
Best Thai curry I've ever had!

Best thai food ever since day 1 very welcoming still and friendly staff. We will continue to go for many years to come
One of my favorite restaurants in the area!
The food was amazing! Everything was perfect on all 4 entrees and 2 appetizers!
Reliably good Thai. Highly reliable, great value.

Just ordered Thai fried rice with chicken and it’s the BEST I’ve had in A LOOOONG time!! So fresh and enough for 2 days.. they do not skimp on the chicken either .. a must try if you’ve never been here! This was my first time and definitely won’t be my last, a hidden gem.
Wonderful place to grab Thai food
Don't understand how people are saying food here is good. Nowhere close to best Thai in the US, let alone Thailand. The flavor and texture of the food is just off. Stir fries like the Drunken Noodle are a soupy mess. It doesn't have the smoky wok flavor, the noodles are way overcooked, and seems like the dish was boiled instead of stir fried. Other dishes lack adequate fresh herb taste despite our ability to buy Thai basil, lime leaves, lemon grass, birds eye chillis, and other Thai herbs from nearby Asian grocery stores like the Hmarts and Lottes. Chicken is definitely low quality if not old meat.
Favorite Thai food I’ve found in the area so far. Had drunken noodles (my first time with this dish) and really liked it. Got it to go but it looked simple but nice inside. Easy parking.
Delicious dinner. Will be going back!
My partner and I ordered thai iced tea, Som Tum (Thai papaya salad), Tom Yum Goong (Shrimp sour soup), Drunken noodles and Massaman curry.
+ Thai Ice tea was decent, doesn’t have strong tea flavor like any other Thai restaurants we had tried.
+Som Tum: not bad, a bit too salty.
+Tom Yum Goong: extremely salty, and very sour. I had to water down with some water but it was still extremely salty so I ended up only eating the protein and mushroom.
+Drunken noodles: this is the weirdest drunken noodles i have had so far. Traditionally, drunken noodles sauce is made with soy sauce, oyster sauce.. so the dish usually has brownish sauce with charred noodles. This place, the sauce is reddish orange, extremely sweet, almost taste like sweet chili sauce. I couldn’t eat it at all because it is like candy.
+Massaman curry: more like watery soup than curry.
The owner fixed my issues
The three of us met at opening for lunch. We each decided on a different dish. The food was delicious. By the time we left 2 hours later, it was a hopping place. Recommend the food tastes. Prices reasonable.
Love the savory foods
This is our go to Thai place. Always delicious food.
Wonderful and delicious.
Been eating there 2005 food is always good
Overall it was a great place to grab Thai food. The coconut soap (s.1) was really tasty and the noodles were what was expected. Good service with a cup that never went empty.
Simple, tasty, spicy-nice. Great service. I don't get here often, but always love their Pad Krapow, Pad Thai, Fried Rice. I should branch out, but I'm happy!
Great place. Their Tom Yom soup is perfect with a layer of spice floating on top. Kaprow is sweet and delicious and the free spring roll is a nice classy touch when you sit down.
Came her by chance. Needed gas. Food was amazing. Like Thailand. Hope to be back but that means I’d have to get lost again.
Everything I've ever had here was delicious. I chose something at random and still loved it
Subpar Thai food. I will not be back.
They got some really good food. I wish they’d open one up on the shore
edit june 2024: very sad to see the tofu galangal sources no longer available on either the website or doordash. I've personally ordered it over 50 times and limiting the choices for people who don't eat animals is sad to see.
The best thing about Little Spice is their consistency. We've been going here for years and I've never once had a bad experience or meal.
Every dish I've tried has been amazing,
Staff is great and friendly
This place has really turned around since the first opened. The food is excellent, service is alright, but still an improvement from what it used to be. Lunch specials are decently priced and great portions.
This is one of my favorite local restaurants. Their Larb is excellent!
I’ve patronized this place for years and lately, they’ve gotten crappier and crappier, from the service of pickup and misunderstanding orders to now, giving small amounts of meat… i order chicken curry and shrimp papaya.. there were only 2 shrimp!!! in a large container and maybe 8 slither of chicken in the curry that you pay an extra dollar for!! ..all the chicken you see is on top. my business will now go to Bangkok kitchen close by
They have gluten free soy sauce, celiacs rejoice!!! I got the gluten free Pad See Ew and my gf got the drunken noodles. The food was 5 stars and for a good price too imo.
Hands down my favorite restaurant! A hidden gem with great prices and delicious food. Our favorites are: masaman curry, jungle curry, red curry, and pad see ew. Their spring rolls are my favorite food in the world.
When the best thing that I can say I was happy to leave
I love Little Spice! The food is good and the staff is very friendly. A nice little hidden gem on Dorsey Road. Five minutes from BWI.
Got take out food, ordered total 5 dishes. All of them seemed like it was Chinese dishes. Chicken smelled like fish. Horrible food had to throw away most of the food.
Great Thai food and even better prices! $10 lunch special gets you food that is cheaper and better than any fast food. Drunken noodles were amazing, and washed down with a cold and sweet Thai Iced Tea. Definitely stop in for a good meal deal!
Ordered the Masaman Curry. Spice level was expected. The taste was ok but the overall dish didn't taste fresh - like it was made a week ago and just reheated. The potato (which I thought was blood sausage) was so dark (which was my clue that the food was not fresh). Service was ok - there were only two employees. One was taking orders and serving the food, the other was cooking.
I always make it a point to eat at least 1 Thai meal every trip (I travel frequently)but this was far from the best Thai restaurant I have eaten at.
The food also service most excellent was served right away. I'll most definitely come back again .🙂
We had Amazing dinner, very clean and great service. Our server was extremely friendly, efficient and had a sense of humor - great times! Highly recommend this place for good Thai!
Pretty good.
I got drunken noodles with beef which was so good. I also got garlic chicken and broccoli which was okay but I liked the beef better. The teriyaki dumplings are okay as well but the sauce was a little too sweet for me. Overall it was very good.
The food was very good.
Had a late lunch food was very tasty

From central pa.
Haven't had good authentic Thai in so long. It was perfect.
Great Thai place. Loved the Tom kha soup

Got the larb gai and it was so delicious and spicy! Loved it.
Red Thai curry was a bit watery for me.
I loved my time at this place and it’s been a while since I’ve left a restaurant happy and without feeling like I have to explain hospitality to management. Service was kind, attentive and quick. The food came out promptly yet fresh and sooo hot (lovely) - it was worth burning my mouth for. I only left 4 stars for atmosphere because I wished they played Thai music instead of American pop lol but I can’t wait to return!
Nice, quaint place; servers are friendly; Pad Thai in its hottest spice is a great starting point. Really enjoyed the hot tea with cream.
Little Spice has great food and a very nice staff!!
Food was bland. Dipping sauce was obviously store bought and sickeningly sweet. They also do not serve rice with their entrees like they claim to, defeating the whole purpose of the dish.
It's just a big open space, but such amazing food and service!
Fast service, good food. Their ginger tea is great.
Great food! The green papaya salad, soups, and entrees are all tasty. Hot, fast, and friendly too. Love this place!
I've been coming here for years since the previous Thai restaurants I knew closed. Never been disappointed.
Excellent meals, good service strip mall atmosphere
Actually super good. Best Pad Thai I've had in a long time, and the appetizers we tried were excellent as well
Very tasty curry and drunken noodles
Little Spice is a restaurant that promises an enchanting culinary journey through the rich and varied flavors of Thai cuisine. With its warm and inviting atmosphere coupled with an authentic array of dishes, this eatery stands out as a beacon of gastronomic excellence.
Upon entering Little Spice, you are immediately greeted by the comforting and aromatic scents of lemongrass, galangal, and kaffir lime leaves—ushering in the promise of a meal that's as genuine as it is delicious. The staff, attentive and knowledgeable, guide you to your seat with a welcome reminiscent of Thai hospitality.
The menu is a mosaic of Thailand's diverse food landscape, featuring classics like Pad Thai and Green Curry alongside more adventurous options. Each dish is presented with care, indicative of the kitchen's dedication to high-quality ingredients and vivid presentation.
One must-try is the Massaman Curry, a harmonious blend of sweet and savory, with tender chunks of beef that melt in the mouth, married perfectly to the rich, coconut curry sauce. The spicy level is customized to your preference, ensuring that the fire of Thai spices is just right for your palate.
For those seeking comfort food, the Drunken Noodles offer a satisfying heat and a tangle of flavors that play joyously with bites of basil, bell peppers, and succulent pieces of chicken. It's a dish that comforts as much as it excites, leaving you reaching for yet another mouthful.
The beverage selection complements the meal beautifully, with Thai iced tea that strikes an ideal balance of sweetness and refreshment, ensuring your taste buds are primed for each new bite.
Finally, no review of Little Spice would be complete without a nod to their sticky rice with mango. A classic Thai dessert, it's the perfect end to the meal—sweet, creamy, and delicately flavored, providing a soothing finish to the symphony of flavors that preceded it.
Food is decent and prices are fair. Servers don’t really check on you and didn’t come to refill water.
Food has a flavor
Small portion though
Without a doubt the best Thai Restaurant I’ve ever been to in Maryland. There were only two servers out in the front and both of them were amazing. They were so kind and was on top with making sure my water was refilled.
I personally got the pad thai with tofu and extra eggs and throughly enjoyed it. Next time I’m definitely going to get their Drunken Noodles though because my friend got it was so delicious, the noodles were perfectly soft and chewy with the perfect amount of spice.
I definitely got my money’s worth, especially with the large food portion.
Little Spice used to be so good, but the past 4 or 5 times I've ordered, the food has not been like it used to be. I'm not sure if there's a new chef or they're using new recipes or what's happened. I absolutely loved their food over the past 10 years, I hope they get back to more authentic Thai flavors and appearances. For now, I'll have to go searching for a new Thai spot, unfortunately. 😕
Unglaublich gut!!!
The Tom Kha soup was amazing!! Great staff too!
The Massaman Curry with Fried Tofu is outstanding! The lunch special is the best deal in town. Great service and great Thai is available at this restaurant. I highly recommend it.
Always enjoy the food whether it's dine in or takeout.
Love the Thai dishes here although I’m partial to their curries
Not much to look at, and the service is okay (nothing special, and also nothing wrong). The food was really good though and the quantity was very satisfactory. I got the masaman curry and the Thai sweet tea and really enjoyed both.
I was in the area for training and next time I'm around I'll definitely be back here for lunch.
Food was flavored so well, not just rice, but wonderful taste, so many gluten free options
Every entree we ordered pretty much looks the same because they use the same kind of veggies in pretty much every dish, including fried rice, curry or salad. Green beans, carrots, onions, etc… You can see it yourself in other people’s comments with posted pictures. Papaya salad only has few shredded papaya, majority is the veggies that I mentioned. Chicken basil fried rice, I don’t even see basil in it, maybe a little and most are those veggies. It is just my honest opinions. I am sure they can do better.
Nice food. Good atmosphere. Friendly staff. The Yellow Curry was outstanding. Clean. A friend and I met there for lunch. What a great surprise. I will be coming back again.
Big spice. Spice sensitivity is subjective, but I think their minimum spice level is probably a bit higher than most people's level, but it's tolerable. The food and service are excellent ... so man-up and give it a try. If your mouth is burning cool it with a Thai Iced tea!
I have no complaints at all. The food was really good
Traveling thru town for work and realized I haven’t had good Thai food in a while. The food here was fantastic. Will definitely be back when I come thru town. I had the Drunken noodles and the chicken skewers. Everything down to the sauces tasted homemade and amazing. Everything was less than $24
Food and service is great. I ordered sweet and sour with beef. Very large portion and really delicious. Friendly service, was greeted with a smile .
Definitely will return when I’m in the area again.
It close at 9 not 9:30
Drunken Noodle was delicious 😋
I ordered my Drunken Noodles gluten and nut free and it was awesome.
Can’t recommend this place enough. The food is the best BY FAR and the service is always excellent!
Green curry tastes good but soup is not thick. Tomyum soup is very salty, shrimps are not fully cooked. Padthai is kinda sweet. Drunken noodles is too many tomatos and juice from tomatoes.
I dont understand why many thai restaurants in DMV serve sweet flavor for padthai, drunken noodles with tomatoe juice. That is not authentic Thai flavor.
This thai restaurant is good, but they need to improve in the customer service, the food is delicious and fresh.
Great service, great food.
Nice stop for Thai food near the airport. Most traditional items prepared well. Ask for extra spice at the table to get to ‘Thai level’. Friendly service. Sometimes quite busy, but usually easy to get a table.
Excellent food and service at both locations in Hanover and Owings Mills, MD.
I love their foods! Especially pod Thai 😋
Great Place for a nice meal.
I used to eat lunch at Little Spice frequently when I worked nearby and it's always been my favorite Thai place in the area. After not having been there in a few years, I went recently and took my child, who can be a picky eater, for the first time. We've been to dozens of different Asian restaurants (Thai, Chinese, Japanese) all over the country and none have ever had a problem (or even hesitated) when we asked them to make chicken and broccoli that was steamed or fried without any sauce. The waitress at Little Spice said this was not possible to do. She seemed to indicate it wasn't that they wouldn't do it but that they couldn't for a reason I still don't understand. This made no sense to me. She suggested other dishes, but I didn't want to pay for a dish that I was pretty certain my child wouldn't eat. I asked if she would please ask the chef, just to make certain we couldn't be accommodated. She refused and was adamant that she knew it was not possible. I was so tempted to walk into the kitchen myself and ask, but of course I didn't. Frankly, we were very tempted to walk out. As usual, our other dishes were delicious, but it really put a damper on our meal that my child was only eating rice. Sad that Little Spice is not kid friendly. I hope they're more accommodating about other modifications, especially if food allergies are involved.
My new favorite place🥰 they have the best food, I have tried a few things and everything was good. I like that u can pick ur spice level I get medium. Nice ppl and great food wat else can u ask for☺️. I always get carry out but I will be dining in soon for the full experience. Here are a few photos one is the drunken noodles with chicken and the other is the little spice fried rice with shrimp the Thai tea wit cream is bomb also. If ur in the area definitely give them a try if u like fresh food made to order.
I went to dine in and we enjoyed the experience and food I got the Bangkok beef and he had the shrimp fried rice and some wings to share🥰.
The food is fabulous great portions and excellent value for your meals. Pad tai a favorites of mine.
Amazing food and service, I ordered all the time and is always given amazing and considerate service.
The food was amazing!
It’s not a great place to eat. Food I ordered taste and looks entirely different from what it should be. I just wasted my time and money. Pls try to search another location and save your money.
One of the good hidden Thai places in the area.
Had a great experience. Very friendly and attentive staff. Lots of menu options, and everything we tried was delicious. Highly recommend!
Love this place. I always get the drunken noodles and they are so delicious.
We love there food... have been going for years
First time dining in.. nothing fancy, but it doesn't need to be..
The food is amazing...
Every. Single. Time.
Already thinking about the Drunken Noodles and Shrimp Spa for next time!
Been here twice now and it was excellent both times.
Easily some of the best waitresses ever. Amazing food as well. I’d support this business all the time if I lived in town.
This is my favorite restaurant! Their food tastes amazing. I get the red curry with crispy tofu (and add eggplant) and my husband gets the jungle curry. The pineapple fried rice is also good and the spring rolls are the best!
The Food is Great! I had The Drunken Noodles! Go there! It's near The Thurgood Marshall Airport Hilton! 10 minutes away!
Very good Thai food! One of my favorites especially compared to others. More authentic flavor.
Spring 2023: the Larb Gai app has been 9/10 hot. Hotter than it used to be and way hotter than it needs to be. I'm a spicy eater but I'm going to start asking for this mild.
Drunken Noodle Mixed Seafood (pic) and another time w beef (pic) is delish, always spot on.
Seafood Soup is lemongrass based and is the BEST anywhere.
Vegetarian wife got her favorite Jasmine lemongrass soup and vegetarian (no fish sauce in broth). Said the Basil Krapow was the best she's had.
Mussels app was great (hotpot pic). Only six mussels, but came in a spicy lemongrass broth that is awesome. Saved it to eat with the entrée too.
E6 Fresh Garlic (pic) w tofu I liked the flavor of the tofu so much that I will probably order this dish next time but with chicken. Yes. Got the E6 w chicken and it was great.
Oh, ask for their chilis & fish sauce on the side if you're looking to amp up the flavor & heat.
Consistently delicious!
I went here with friends, and we were seated promptly. It was dinner time on a weeknight, and was not crowded. The seats are hard chairs, which were pretty comfortable after a while. We had spring rolls as an appetizer that were good. I got a rice noodle dish that was just okay. The noodles were very thick, which I have never seen before with rice noodles. The taste was pretty bland. My friends seemed to like their dishes more. Service was pretty good, but no one came to refill our waters the whole time we were there. If I return, I would definitely try a different dish.
Food is on point! Perfectly seasoned and spice!!
Absolutely Delicious. Staff is so kind. Prices are excellent.
I ordered takeout of chicken pad Thai adding shrimp and pork. The first star is because there was a generous portion of protein and the shrimp 🍤 was huge. But the recipe could use work. There was no flavor ☹️
The second star was for the steak salad appetizer. It was delicious!!!
