I'm very excited to learn this place has authentic Hunan cuisine, which is a type of Chinese food. All dishes taste good but I especially love the Caramelized Sweet Potato!

They are changing name of the business. I ordered general tsos and fried rice for lunch special it was yummy! I do think they need to clean the place up just a tad bit and there was a little bit of a smell. (Which all can be fixed) I didn’t let that ruin me trying the food. Guy at front desk was super nice as well!

I often go to this restaurant and it turns out they have changed become Fortune Cooky restaurant, the prices are affordable, they have changed the decoration inside to be cleaner and the most recommended food are crispy beef, combination lo mein, and pad thai. the server Andre was also very satisfying, very friendly. Definitely will comeback to try another food

They recently took over another restaurant. I ordered through an app for the old restaurant. Due to this, they never got my order. There was incorrect information given to me when I called the first time. After 45 minutes, the delivery time I was given. My order never showed up and I was speaking with the wrong person. After about an hour total. I placed my order. I ordered steam dumplings and Shrimp Lo Mein I got it really quickly and got a nice surprise. They gave me a $15 gift card for pickup or dine in. All my food was delivered fresh and hot! It was also delicious!!! I recommend them highly. The second person I spoke with was very kind and apologetic. Decent prices, good size portions and good food!!!

Super mushie and still cold and on the inside of these Japanese dumplings silver metal from a scrubby. And I asked for fried rice, when he came out and asked again steamed or fried rice I said fried rice but clearly folks. This local will never again. Unexceptionable

We love Fortune Cooky in Germantown! The man running the front desk (I don’t know his name) is so kind, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful! He makes you feel like you’re the only customer. This is the second time we’ve been here, and the first time they forgot a sauce. The front desk gentleman called, apologized and offered a coupon for the next time we ordered. My husband picked up the food and he remembered that he wanted to give us the coupon!!! Talk about great customer service!!! The food is lovely- fresh, flavorful, and they can make certain foods gluten free. I would highly recommend this place!!!

Today was my first time ordering from this location. I don’t live in the Germantown area but I was in the area and was looking for Chinese and stumbled upon this place so ordered food for the family. We spent almost $90 on food and half of it had gone bad. All the dishes with veggies had gone bad from the spring rolls, to the triple delight, Thai spicy chicken etc. it was a terrible experience and a waste of money. The food smelled good until we opened it and tried to eat it. Please make sure you aren’t serving food to people that has gone bad it’s not okay. Thanks

Was a terrific restaurant with excellent food - rhen current owners came in and all chicken dishes are prepared with fried chicken. Egg drop soup is like a tasteless syrup - not soup. Very disappointing.

You exceeded our expectations! My parents are from Hunan, and they were impressed with how authentic the Hunan dishes were—just like home. The flavors were bold and perfectly balanced, capturing the true essence of Hunan cuisine.

Our waiter, Andre, was fantastic—attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was just right for us. He really added to our experience.

Thought we were calling China King, they didn't correct us. During pick up the staff was outrageously rude to another customer, right in front of other customers, we almost walked out without our food. Once we opened our food at home, SHOCKED at the quality and quantity ratios. Crabmeat wonton were deep fried beyond the point of not cracking a tooth. The main dishes, 75% rice 25% dish (beef w/broccoli). The only "good" was the chicken lo mein. Not planning on ordering from here ever again.

Would've given a review of the food if we actually got any, had a coupon that explicitly stated "$15 off" and they not only tried to say it wasn't $15 off several times, they tried to say it was 15% instead. All this while going back and forth sitting on hold for half an hour, just for them to state we had to COME IN and order when the coupon says take-out. Absolutely laughable service and a joke of a store.

First time dining here and we are not disappointed. We will definitely be back again for the great service Andrew (our server) provided and the delicious food!
