Diner Review №1

Food is tasty but the interior is extremely small and not conducive to dining for more than a party of 3.

Diner Review №2

Very nice

Diner Review №3

We are visiting first time here. But had a very nice food . We liked all the foods especially Mango with coconut milk. Must try other menus next time. Surely I will try here next time.

Diner Review №4

This is a carryout. I've been here several times. The food is generally good, as well as the service. Not the best thai I ever had but ok.

Diner Review №6

I just had the best spicy beef drunken noodle I’ve had in a very long time. My wife also said her fried vegetable rice was delicious. This is our Thai go-to. Don’t skip this place, it’s great.

Diner Review №7

First time visiting this restaurant. This appears to be a carry out restaurant as my friend and I were the only dine in customers. Ordered the chicken Pad Thai and the Spring Rolls. Excellent and pleasant customer service. The noodles in the Pad Thai seemed over cooked and had an odd after taste. The spring rolls were nice. We ordered hot tea and I was surprised to see it served in to-go paper cups. My friend is a diabetic and asked for a sugar substitute, but they only have sugar. The server was very pleasant and attentive. I found this restaurant to be very pricey for the type of restaurant. Our combined bill was over $52, plus I added a nice tip because of the server.

Diner Review №8

Not fresh. Tasted old. Got sick from eating here!!!!!

Diner Review №9

Excellent food at a great price. Friendly service. Small dining room only a few tables; great take out business. Curry is DELICIOUS!! Hidden gem in Crofton!!

Diner Review №10

Food was absolutely amazing more of a take out restaurant but they do have a few chairs and table for dining in. First time going there yesterday and the service was fast and the food was the best Thai I’ve had around.

Diner Review №11

Food amazing and flavor so delicious!!!

Diner Review №12

Small spot, but the service is quick and friendly, and the food is delicious!

Diner Review №13

Great food.

Diner Review №14

Great location, great customer service, very cozy atmosphere, and fast service.

Diner Review №15

The fried rice was bland, tasted like white rice & salt only. The spring rolls only had noodles in it. And chicken tasted like I was eating marinated raw chicken. Also, no cutlery was included in my delivery order as expected. The cook needs to go. Will not order from here ever again.

Diner Review №16

The quality of this place has gone down. I ordered crab fried rice and there is way more egg than crab. There are very tiny crab pieces in the egg. I also ordered shrimp rolls which I thought were supposed to be shrimp egg rolls but it's just 4 fried shrimp for almost $9. I've been going to this place and this is the first disappointment.

Diner Review №17

Update review: The to go containers are now half the size and the food amount is like half of the amount it was before. Last 3 months. The price went up again, less food and smaller containers. Why??? Hand in photo to see size.
I love this place but please go back to the other size containers.
We have eaten here many many times. Everything we have had here is delicious 😋 Along with what I checked below, the Pad See Ew, Panang Curry, Pad Woon Sen, Summer Rolls and Chicken w Cashew Nuts are very good. 👍🏻 Good Thai Iced Tea.

Diner Review №18

Have been twice for lunch. Delicious both times! Great food, excellent service. Will definitely come back!

Diner Review №19

Great price, good portions, delicious food

Diner Review №20

Reasonably priced Thai food with clearly marked gluten-free and vegan options. My only warning is that the dining area is very small.

I took my friend here for a birthday dinner. Considering the poor quality of the meal, I'm very glad that she chose it, otherwise I'd feel really badly. I really should have taken photos, but I didn't think of it. We each had soup, Tom Yum and Tom Kha. They should have been embarrassed by the poor quality of mushrooms in the soup. There were dark marks all over them, the kind mushrooms get when they have been in your fridge for too long. The Tom Yum broth was sweet. I have Tom Yum at every Thai restaurant I go to as it is my favorite, and I have never tasted sweet broth.

I didn't see it until I got home, but we were charged more than the price on the menu for the chicken satay. It was okay, but the sticky rice was served to us wrapped in plastic wrap.

The Maprow fish - we chose salmon - was dried out and overcooked. The steamed broccoli was cold.

The Bangkok Noodles had only 4 pieces of shrimp and a few slivers of chicken. The noodles were stuck together in clumps and the sauce was sticky and sweet.

The desserts were somewhat better. My friend had mango and sticky rice and I had coconut pudding. I've not had coconut pudding, so I'm not sure how thick/firm the bottom layer is supposed to be...it was quite chewy, but it did taste good.

Diner Review №26

Small cozy Thai restaurant. Food is great!!!

Diner Review №28

Best Thai food in the area by a long shot!!! I absolutely love everything on the menu. I would recommend their curry puffs, green curry, pad prik khing, drunken noodle, and of course pad thai. They do everything exceptionally well, and I also appreciate being able to order steamed tofu instead of fried.

Diner Review №29

Good but could be better! The Pad Thai was alright. It had all my favorite ingredients, but it was pretty bland unfortunately. I was pretty disappointed. The Pad See Ew was tasty but also needed a little more flavor or whatever kind of seasoning they use. Both of the noodles dishes tasted good but need more punch. The pork dumplings and mango sticky rice we tried were really tasty!! We will be back again to give it another shot.

Diner Review №30

The food is good but the cooks are becoming inconsistent. My wonton soup was watered down. I know because I always get it. This time it was watery. I ordered basil rice and this time it was so spicy I had to throw it away and it wasn’t cheap

Diner Review №31

Ate in and enjoyed the Tom Ka soup, pork Larb and the pineapple fried rice. Have tried other dishes in the past and have enjoyed all.
No alcohol served.

Diner Review №32

Placed order inside and waited an hour and left with no food. She let me sit there for an hour knowing my food was not ready. She served several people
Before me who orders after me. I understand they were busy, but no communication on timeline. Unfortunate great food but not great service. I did get my money back!

Diner Review №33

Diner Review №34

Really delicious! Love that many dishes can be made vegetarian/vegan!

Diner Review №35

Definitely the best Thai food in the area. The confluence of flavors was divine. So tasty and homey. We had take out but the atmosphere was also really inviting.

Diner Review №36

Really enjoyed our meal here. The food was excellent and so was the service. We were there for lunch, a bit off-hours so it was not crowded. Clean, minimalist atmosphere. Decor was elegant and understated.

Diner Review №37

Maprow Thai never disappoints. This is the best Thai restaurant we’ve found in the area. Our go to dishes are Ka Prow with chicken, fried rice with egg, Black Pepper Stir Fry with chicken, Panang Curry, and the spring rolls. The ladies at the counter are kind and very helpful as well.

Diner Review №38

I was sooooo looking forward to good Thai from a local restaurant and based my selection of this restaurant on the star rating. Big disappointment...1) When I arrived to pick up my order, the woman behind the counter looked up, no greeting and just placed a bag on the counter and said you. She forgot my drink and once reminded quickly made the worst Thai tea I have had. 2) I ordered a shrimp and steak meal but no shrimp in the meal, 3) the Tom Sum soup was not flavorful with poor quality frozen vegetables, 3) the Thai basil rice had very little basil, just a two small strips of pepper and onion and the dark rice seemed to have been old and refried leftover rice, 4) the wings were soggy and little flavor, 5) the inside of the spring rolls were clear and mushy with little flavor...no reason to give this place even the thought of another try. Will continue to make the long drive to Bangkok Garden in Pasadena and other far away locations for good Thai

Diner Review №40

Great food and service.

Diner Review №41

The server ate up. And the pork was juicy. Bonus their white rice is amazing. And the spring rolls was so crispy!

Diner Review №42

The food here is very good. However, my problems arised when they change the name and with new mgmt. The price has went up for all dishes with no change in portion size. Yes, they improved the sitting area, but for the size they are, they get more carry-out. I asked for my onions to be cut finer (smaller), but they front desk attendant pushed back immediately saying the cooks were to busy to cut onions. She didn't even ask. She even pushed backed on my wife's substituted noodles. My wife informed me she called a few weeks earlier and the customer service rep who picked up phone, she did the same thing and was not accomodating at all. The young lady they had a few months ago at front desk was so much more accomodating and friendly. We will problably drive to CP instead more often.

Diner Review №43

Delicious food and fast, friendly service. The atmosphere has improved dramatically with the new owners!

Diner Review №44

Not rating atmospher it is fine with a few tables and waiting area!! Fantastic coconut milk soup!

Diner Review №45

I would define myself as a regular. I work down the street and go usually 12-15 times per year. The food was good (though not as good as the previous Pick Thai restaurant in that location). I ordered a soup and steamed noodles today online. When the online service told me the food was ready I drove over. The lady at the front told me 5 minutes and it would be ready. 30 minutes later and (asking a couple more times) I tell her I need to get back to my office and so please give me my food or give me a refund. She tells me 2 more minutes and only then in the back do I see her put the steamed noodles in the microwave to heat.

40 minutes of waiting I finally get my soup and noodles. I try to begin a conversation with her in regards ro my disappointment with how long it took and she immediately cuts me off and says "I'm busy" and walks off into the back. So rude. Especially for someone who frequents the establishment regularly.

For now on I will go to the Thai restaurant in Waugh Chapel which taste much better. I only refrained from going there in the past because it was farther away. I'd rather support people who are not rude.

Diner Review №47

Great Thai food.

Diner Review №48

Delicious food at this new spot! I didn't know there is a Thai restaurant in this shopping center but was surprised by the nice decor and tasty food. I loved the spring rolls, panang curry and fried rice. Will be recommending to my friends.

Diner Review №49

I ordered via a delivery service Pineapple Fried Rice, steamed veggies and crispy eggplant. Was very surprised at the PFR dish as it had a lot going on with cashews and raisins added to chicken, shrimp, veggies, eggs, onions and scallions with curry as the top seasoning. It was unique and arrived like 3 people were dining on it.

The crispy eggplant was doughy greasy sadly but the extra order of steamed (no seasoning to very very light seasoning) made up for it. I could order the main dish again but I would hold the cashews if I could. Shrimp were decent size but not plentiful. The chicken was not chunk but rather medium thin slices that were fork to mouth ready.

Diner Review №50

Great go to for Thai Cuisine. I love their papaya salad!

Diner Review №51

It is my first time to try Thai food in Maprow Thai. It’s so good, there are tofu options if people don’t eat meat or seafood. I tried Iced Thai Tea and Pad Thai with Fried Tofu today. The taste of pad Thai is perfect for me, not too sweet.
Also, the Thai lady who served me was so friendly and nice. The restaurant is not that big but clean.
I would definitely come back..

Diner Review №52

Unfortunately despite having an entire “vegan” section on the menu, they don’t know what that means. Two of our vegan dishes came out with egg in them. I explained using dairy or egg is vegetarian, not vegan. They disagreed with me but did remake the dishes. If you’re ordering vegan or gluten free I would be very clear in what that means.

Otherwise food was ok. This is mostly a take out place. They have some seating but it’s limited and you order at the counter.

Diner Review №53

Authentic Thai food. Very reasonable price. We travel a lot and know that this restaurant is cooking authentic food quickly by tasking it. Highly recommended!

Diner Review №54

Super nice server, she was really kind and attentive. The food was AMAZING, I got the pad see ew noodles and my mom got the drunken noodles. Genuinely such a good experience, the place was quaint and inviting. 10/10 absolutely recommend will be going again.

Diner Review №55

I honestly feel like I could eat dinner from here every night and never get tired of it. The food is hands down, delicious!!

I've tried several of the curries, and they are really good. The panang is probably my favorite, but you really cannot go wrong no matter which one you order! I love the Thai Basil fried rice. It's soo good and hits the spot every time I crave it. Their appetizers are all soo good too. The spring rolls, curry puffs, gyoza, sate, shrimp cakes are scrumptious! One time they had these chive dumplings that were crazy good too!

My latest obsession from here is the Pad See-Ew, with pork. It's like a comfort food for me. It's my go-to for an easy dinner, when I just want to relax, binge a show and eat something yummy. I've never dined-in, but I have picked up and the interior is really cute, especially since they renovated. It's clean, employees are friendly, food is well packaged. Pricing seems pretty reasonable for what you get, especially given the flavor and quality.

Diner Review №56

Pineapple fried rice is not taste like other pineapple fried rice I used to eat, it’s too much taste of something like curry or saffron.

Diner Review №57

Diner Review №58

Sooooo goooooood!

Diner Review №59

All the food was really tasty. I had the spicy eggplant, which was not as spicy as some places, but really flavorful. My husband ordered a Thai spicy red curry, and he said it was both spicy and tasty. The spring rolls were also excellent.

Diner Review №60

From the rich flavors , the fresh preparation and the delicious meat, everything was awesome!

Diner Review №61

The food is fantastic. The service was good. The place was clean. We will be back.

Diner Review №62

Subpar at best. The chicken was either reheated or extremely over cooked and there were huge chunks of uncooked scallions in my flavorless Pad Thai. Almost the same price as Thai at Waugh Chapel but only worth 1/2. If I wasn’t so hungry I wouldn’t left it and gone up the road.

Diner Review №63

I was excited to order here for the first time, but the food was awful. The Pad Thai was bland and the noodles were mushy. All you could taste was the spiciness, but none of the traditional flavors like sweet and sour. I don't think I've ever had bad pad Thai before, so I was surprised.

If you want good Thai food, I recommend you go to Thai at Waugh Chapel. It's a bit overpriced, but at least the quality of the food is good.

Diner Review №64

Diner Review №65

Could not believe we found this place on our way home... Spicy Eggplant and Vegan Pad Ka Prow were sọ delicious...😋

Diner Review №66

Excellent!

We had the Summer Rolls (stuffed with lettuce, carrots, noodles, basil, and shrimp), Pad See Ew (with just the right smoky-sweet flavor you want), Basil Rice (yummy!), and Pad Thai. All were great.

Prices are good too. Highly recommended.

Diner Review №67

Loved the basil fried rice and drunken noodles. Will visit again!

Diner Review №68

Excellent food served with a smile. We'll be coming back again and again!

Diner Review №69

This is our new favorite place. My wife loves Thai food, but I'm usually rather picky with it. There has only been one other place I've liked in the last 7 years. I wasn't even impressed by the Michelin star place in DC, but this place hit the spot. It's a tiny hole-in-the-wall spot, so it's easy to miss. Don't though!

Diner Review №70

High quality food with reasonable price. This is now my to go Thai place!

Diner Review №71

R.I.P. Pick Thai. Long live Maprow Thai!!! This used to be Pick Thai, which was my favorite spot for lunch, but it closed down last year. I was overjoyed to see that Maprow Thai had opened in its place and it is the same great food!!

I love their fried tofu option in place of meat. The portions are generous and every meal I have ordered has been flavorful and delicious.

I'd highly recommend the Pad See Ew, and their Thai tea is perfect. Probably the best Thai food in Maryland. I don't know because I'm not going anywhere else.

Diner Review №72

You have to go to this place, food is soo good and tasty. Super fast and nice staff.

Diner Review №73

Diner Review №74

Omg i'm not even exaggerating the food here is soo good!! I just found this place. I opened it took a bite, danced and had to write a review.

Diner Review №75

Need to visit this place! Great authentic Thai food that will leave you craving for more. Don’t miss out!

Diner Review №76

Amazing thai food and as authentic as it will get! Must try!

Diner Review №77

Great new thai spot.
