The chicken Wasn’t very good and it was very dry, even though they put it in an entire bowl of the sauce. I also got a bubble tea and they didn’t have the traditional pearl, so I got a milk tea with popping bubbles because the waitress suggested it, and it just tasted funny and I know that’s probably my own fault but I was really interested in getting a milk tea. I think they might use a powder for the milk tea, which is fine but it tasted odd. The rice tasted great, and if you know anything about eating at an Asian restaurant if there rice is good that means that they pass the test. My server was very nice very attentive and when I asked her to go back, she gave me a to go bag and multiple containers and even asked me if I wanted chopsticks. Because it’s little things like that that really set you apart.

Delighted with my order. I got Combo 5: salmon sushi, sashimi & salmon teriyaki. For $30 I was shocked at the volume. It tasted wonderful, fresh & tasteful. The leftovers will likely get me 2 more meals! I highly recommend.

I was full after eating 2 rolls but unfortunately the overpowering flavor of my rolls was the flavor of rice wine vinegar... which is not what I paid 30$ for...

I will try again but after this if I get a repeat I will sadly be going somewhere else

Always has been a good place. Whoever the girl is at the front is rude and nonchalant. In this part of Maine it is hard find good ethnic food, but I would rather go without than deal with subpar below quality service. I wish this business the best

The service we received was great our waiter was wonderful. The salmon and Rainbow roll were delicious. Definitely recommend! We also ordered the zombie roll and the eel roll. The zombie roll was supposed to have soft shell crab in it but I guess the one I was served had little burnt bits of crab in it did not taste good it , wasn’t my favorite and both the eel rolls and the zombie roll had way to saucy it made it hard to enjoy and Made the sushi saggy.

Cassandra was very attentive. Sushi was not bad, huge rolls! however too much rice and sauce.

The sushi rolls are large, but we somehow always manage to finish them

The food is really good. Quality ingredients, beautiful presentation. Portions aren't large, but taste is decent. Beverage items were seriously lacking. Diet coke was the only soda option that day, and they have no liquor license currently, which was disappointing. The temperature inside the restaurant was a bit too warm, but the atmosphere is comfortable otherwise. Our server was wonderful.

Great quality food, however, waited 30 mins after ordering... before our waitress came back over to ask us if we were ready to order... we just looked at each other and reminded her we already ordered sushi rolls with her, but why not add on an order of Thai donuts... donuts came out 3 mins later... some of our food 5 mins later after that... I'm pretty sure she forgot to put our order in until we ordered the donuts... she forgot to put one of the dishes in to the order to be made... oh, and a couple came in 10-15 mins after us... order 3 sushi rolls and a to-go of pad Thai, and they got their rolls before us...

All the dishes brought to our table were speckled with hard, thick, black crusts... we used a plastic to-go cup to drink water.

It was too bad that customer service and cleanliness for seated patrons were an issue because the food tasted amazing!

Waited 45 minutes for take out order of crab rangoons and fresh spring rolls and a boba. Embarrassing for a Thai place dang. I’d like to try again but the customer service also sucked, no one even made eye contact with me as I stood with my two kids waiting next to the register for 45 minutes. While my drink sat for 35 minutes waiting for the rangoons. There were two tables seated inside and one had already gotten their food. No one seemed to think it unreasonable.

For the longest time I have been meaning to come eat here, try the food and dine in and recently I had the opportunity to finally dine in. I ordered the Pork Dumplings, Pad Thai, Panang Curry and the Spider Roll. The pork dumplings were good, nothing crazy just your typical dumplings. The Pad Thai was pretty good as well, a little bit too sweet but overall pretty good. The Spider Roll was good as well. The Panang Curry was good, good flavor, although it is lacking more vegetables and proteins. Overall the food was good, good portions, prices are ok, good service, and clean nice dining experience.

Absolutely delightful food, however the only good server I had was a good girl named Paige, pouring me my water every 2 minutes absolutely wonderful, she really made the whole atmosphere beautiful.

The spring rolls were excellent, but there was not enough dipping sauce for the 2 rolls, i shouldn't have to buy extra sauce to accommodate the original dish. Crispy pad thai, very salty... too salty. Probably won't go back a second time.

Food is always good to great here. Very long wait so order atleast an hour beforehand being hungry. Prices have gone up, typical in Bidens America so that to be expected. Sushi is one of the best in the state.

Really like this place but even so many years out from Covid, be prepared to wait an hour for your takeout food. It’s too bad but you need to order before you realize you’re hungry because it takes that long. Very very good food but just takes a long time and their estimates aren’t accurate so you spend awhile standing in the lobby waiting.

I wanted to leave more stars but this is the second time I’ve ordered a noodle dish (first time drunken noodle, this time pad Thai) that I’ve specifically asked for no spice and been disappointed, I share my food with my boyfriend and son and once again it wasn’t made without spice. Be cautious ordering from here if you’re ordering for someone with a low spice tolerance. Otherwise the flavor was great and prices were reasonable.

A bit disappointed. Always had delicious food from here. The pineapple fried rice had 2 pieces of pineapple. No scallions, which should be in the dish. Prices went up again. New ownership? Will give it one more try.

Absolutely delicious!! We ordered for take out and after our meal I had to call them and tell them how delicious it was and that they’ve got a customer for life! We got two things of chicken pad Thai- one spicy one not, fresh veggie rolls and a Thai Coffee w/boba - everything was so good! My husband loves a spicy pad Thai and the place we used to get it from a one star was enough to burn your tongue, he got a 2 star here and it was perfect level of spice! The fresh rolls definitely lived up to their name, so tasty! And the Thai coffee was great too! The boba was so fresh! Pricing is good, cheaper than other places in the area! Will definitely be ordering again!

Very disappointed, will not order again or recommend the food. The tuna was not good in the tuna roll. It was mushy, Hannaford makes better tuna rolls. I also asked for no veggies in my drunken noodles and 80% of it was veggies. Would have gone back but I wasn’t driving another 25 minutes one way again!

Food is great but prices are astounding how much they've gone up recently. Such a shame. I guess they must be pulling the same revenue with less customers because of it, I know pricing is a tightrope to walk but they are shooting themselves in the foot.

There is no other sushi restaurant that we order from. We LOVE Bua! Their sushi rolls are amazing and I've never once been disappointed with the quality of the food or their service. Also, I love that you have bubble tea now as well!

Genuinely the best Thai food I've ever had in Maine, everything was immaculate. Dumplings, rangoons, pork fried rice w scallops, sushi.. The list could continue, perfection. Well done.

Sushi is amazing. Curry and noodle dishes are delicious. Environmentally-responsible packaging (if asked-for) is a plus. Staff are friendly and welcoming.

Never know when they will be closed or open. Some weeks, they are open every day except one. Other weeks, they are closed all week whenever we call or drive by. Sometimes, they seem to be open for just two or three hours one day of the week. I can never tell what their schedule is.

Always amazing sushi here, can't find anywhere else with better. The staff are super friendly and welcoming as well.

Called ahead and still had to wait quite a bit. Food was kinda hit or Miss. I’m sure they do sushi better then regular food according to other reviews. We did not get sushi. Some of it was over done and I definitely do not recommend the baby egg rolls had no idea which was which kind and they were pretty nasty. I prefer canton wok instead

I went for the first time, ordering over the phone. I explained dietary restrictions - no raw fish. The person on the phone seemed helpful until I picked up my order. Rolls with raw fish flanked my non raw roll in a shared container. I called and explained that this was not ok. I was told I didn't say to keep them separate by the same person who took my order. I ended up calling back and was passed to the chef because they know more about my needs. Well the chef was perfectly fine redoing the order and removing raw ingredients. I was pleased to not have wasted $40. I hope the cashier/takes orders can ask for help if they are unsure of what they are advising customers of. Quality was superb and I would order again once my dietary restriction is lifted to not risk it.

Customer service horrible. I enter the restaurant to pickup my order. The owner and an employee were having tea laughing and chatting for several minutes. he made eye contact with me (owner) turnt away laughing some more with employee. This happening while I was directly in front of them, by the cash register while my order was hanging out on the table. Note( it wasn't busy one other customer was waiting on their food). Then employee decided to act all shock and proceeded cash me out.

Best Thai food around!! One of the only Thai restaurants I will go to because their food is always fresh, authentic, and they give you large portions. Pricing is exactly what it should be because you’re paying for a great meal and will end up with leftovers for the next day. Never had an issue with customer service or wrong orders. Hands down the best fried rice I've ever had. The Thai fried rice with pork is amazing. We also like the Lewiston & Dragon sushi rolls. Price = Quality & decent portions & presentation for our takeouts.

Best people and best food. Highly recommend the chicken noodle soup. The broth of the soup has so much flavor- almost clear salty broth with fresh chicken, green onion and bean sprouts. Rice noodles are served separately so you can add what you want. Hits the spot during the winter season!!!

Started out with forgetting part of our order. Was suposed to be 25 min. ended up waiting an additional 20 min. Food was okay but flavors weren't authentic. Yellow curry tasted a little indian or like massamn curry. Green curry was like 2 star but ordered 3 star. Mango curry had acouple pieces of mango in it and the 4 star we ordered was like 2 star. In addition they were unable to make noodle and fried rice dishes vegetarian with out oyster and fish sauce. We were disappointed. This was our first time ordering from Bua Thai.

So upset with these meals. I got the crispy pad Thai. And it is so bland. My son ordered drunken noodles with 4 stars of hotness. What a disappointment. So so bland. Makes mine exciting. The spring rolls were good as well as the Thai iced tea. But for $40 we are very underwhelmed!!!

I’ve recently developed a fairly severe allergy to shellfish/anchovies. After some Thai food caused me to end up in urgent care I’ve been anxious about trying to find somewhere to get it safely.

My husband ordered food for us here and they were so kind about it and willing to help. He quadrupole checked to make sure it was shellfish free and they were kind and accommodating each time.

The food was great, and I am blown away by the customer service. Thanks again

Best thai place in lewiston/ Auburn!

I ended up getting their penang curry, yellow curry, pad thai, crispy pad thai, and spring rolls.

All of their curries are perfectly tasty and thick in sauce. It's great for pairing with the white rice. The pad thai is done well with good char on the beef and al dente rice noodles.

We ordered extra sushi to take home. The server took our boat back to the kitchen to box and sent us home with the wrong box. We lost big time. Box your own at the table.

We ate here the Saturday after Thanksgiving and the food was delicious, but the restaurant was extremely cold! We had to put our jackets on. Granted it was a cold day outside (temp in the teens), but it was uncomfortably cold. I will still go back as the food is great, I just hope they fixed the heat situation.

The food and service was wonderful, the prices are pricey, especially if you ask to put a little more vegetables. I wouldn't charge extra for that when prices are already too expensive. Not many customers, it was 12pm. That was on my mind lunch time and only 2 customers, besides us.

Absolutely terrible customer service. My wife and I came in and ordered our meals, they made us the wrong dish. She brings the order out back and adds two thinks to the wrong dish and gives it back to us. They didn't even try to make it right. Management didn't come speak to us. We finished our drinks and left with empty stomachs.
This is not how you run a business. If I could give zero stars I would.

This is a good place to get sushi. I don't eat it very often, but I've been to one other place in the area, as well as a spot in Brunswick. Compared to those places, Bua has decent prices and the sushi came out great. I usually get the safe options, like a California or Philadelphia roll but on my 2nd visit here, I branched out. I ended up getting a combination plate which had Nigiri, Sashimi, shrimp and vegetable tempura, and a California roll. I discovered I am not a fan of sashimi (fresh fish) but the presentation of the plate was amazing (see photos). I also had the spring rolls which were crispy and tasty. I would certainly come back again to try other items on the menu :)
