We ordered the mixed appetizer, it included 2 of each of the following: 2 crab Rangoons- they were wontons with just cream cheese inside, nothing special, the chicken puffs, were also wonton wrappers with just some shredded chris chicken that was dry; chicken satay- a generous portion of chicken, but very dry and deep fried, not seasoned; the veggie spring rolls barely had anything in them, and the little in them lacked any flavor, the shrimp rolls were very also very bland; the dumplings were also in wonton wrappers and fried, the filling was good though.. the pad wooden was the most disappointing... it was glass noodles soaked in soy sauce and a bit of sugar... nothing like pad woonsen. The green curry sauce was good, but the beef in it tasted like nothing, and it only had green beans and green peppers, the rice came shaped like a heart, which was cute. The sushi is what you'd expect from thai restaurant, not fresh..

My daughter and I were exploring Maine for the first time and we’re heading to Farmington. We looked for a place to eat, and based on the reviews, we decided to try this Thai restaurant. The high rated reviews did not steer us wrong! The place is very cozy, the servers super nice, and the food was amazing. I did try the drunken noodles with tofu, and based on the review, I did go ahead and get four stars. It was just the right amount of spiciness for me. And that coconut soup, you really have to try it. I didn’t think that anything could taste so delicious. If we’re ever this way again, I will make a point upcoming again to this restaurant.

Place is very nice and cozy. They have some fun drinks that were very good. The food portions are pretty big. I had the spicy duck 3stars for heat, it was not as spicy as I expected but I guess I could have gone with 4 or 5 stars. All in all the food was ok the place is nice and the service was excellent.

So happy we came in to try some Thai foods!

Crab Rangoons were some of the best I've had.

Large menu, sushi is always fresh when I go. Staff are super kind and friendly but also don't bother you every 10 seconds. Drinks are well made, very reasonable prices for their portions. Sometimes the sushi can take a little bit if you put in a big order, but they always let you know if that will be the case and the appetizers are yummy and still light enough you are hungry for your meal.

Delicious food bur customer satisfaction is not a priority. The guy actually argued with me about what I ordered and gave me a hard time..wouldn't even give me what I ordered. That's the last time I go there.

Anytime I’m in town I make sure to stop in. Love getting the large noodle dishes! I recommend!

I’m a vegetarian and I love this place, the lunch special is my favorite, spring rolls with vegetable pad thai or pad see ew are the best. I always order with 5 or 6 star spice. The servers are super nice. The only thing I don’t like is no free refills :(

DON’T get the cripsy pad thai, you’ve been warned haha

Very little care was taken on our order, (while it was a slow business day). We ordered two curry dishes for take out. Received white rice instead of lo mein, the yellow curry was watery, the vegetables were in huge chunks, the crispy chicken was extremely soggy (there was plenty of soggy chicken - the ratio was off big time) and the bag was full of liquid due to improper packaging. Its sad to see such little care taken given the prices of eating out now. The overall taste of the meals were not good so the meals ended up being thrown away.

This is my first time giving a restaurant review. I’ve been to Sabaidee Thai many times in the past year. I believe that I have a good knowledge of Thai cuisine. This is due to that two of my very close friends are Thai. I have eaten at their home thousands of times and have enjoyed all of it. I do know that the restaurant and a home cooked meals is quite different. I saw review from a customer giving my favorite place a one star rating and thought this was quite unfair. I know that different regions of Thailand have different spices, sour and sweetness to its cuisines. I believe that Sabaidee’s cooking is from The Central region of Thailand. So it tends to be a little bit sweeter, less spicy and have more fried foods than other parts. Pad Thai itself will be a sweater and sour dish, that’s how it’s supposed to be made. So if you’re not familiar with the Thai food you might not know that. The restaurant can also adjust how you would like your food because they make each dish individually. I hope this review is helpful to others. I love this restaurant, it’s a clean and friendly place. The food is great and I highly recommend it.

The pad thai was waaaaay too sweet and the sabaidee was soooo bland. Normally, I don't rate restaurants, but the general rating on Google is way too high. If you ever had good thai food in your life, lower your expectations.

Miserable Man!!!! Snappy toward people and could care less. Do it his way or told to leave. Wanted the booth, not the table. He said leave then. OK BUDDY, NEVER GOING BACK :(

Every time we come here it us slow service and the manager is miserable. But tonight takes the cake, the place was only half full, the mansger ignored us, along with another couple, for more than10 minutes. He seated the couple ahead of us in a booth as two other booths emptied. He told us to sit at a table and we asked for one of the open booths, to which he replied you will have to wait or he said we could leave. We thought we hesrd him wrong so i walked over to him and asked for a booth and we ciuld wait until they cleaned it, and he emphatically said NO, and it would be 30 minutes before he would seat us. When i very nicely asked why, he said "you can leave". DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME DEALING WITH SUCH DISRESPECT. The previous owner was a nice man, this man is not.

I got a takeout and it felt as though I got reheated food, all my chicken was over cooked and the crab rangoons were tough :( $80.00 worth of food almost and I can eat much of it. Kinda sad 😢

The first thing that caught my attention was the decor. It was not cluttered yet presents as fashionable. The bathroom was very clean and well-kept. A melodic music played ever-so softly in the background, in a language I can only assume was Thai. It really added that exotic vibe that perfected an amazing ambience.

The food was simply phenomenal. Being a food connoisseur I was delighted to find that Sabaidee not only perfected flavor but also balanced texture in their dishes. The vegetables were not over-cooked, a common problem in many dining establishments. Each portion of my food was painstakingly arranged like a work of art, which is another feature frequently over-looked.

My waiter, Lucky, was friendly and courteous. Never did I find him hovering over my shoulder, yet still he recognized those subtle queues that signify the transition from one phase of a meal to another. This ability truly is an art.

Sabaidee is a MUST for anyone. They have brought fine Thai cuisine to Franklin county and I joyfully applaude their restaurant and staff for delivering a memorable experience.

Amazing place! We had Gigi as our server , she was so friendly and welcoming. She gave WONDERFUL recommendations. The yellow curry⭐️⭐️⭐️, dumplings, combo lo mein, shrimp tempura maki roll and chicken wings. Everything was incredible. We will definitely be returning!!

Literally everything was amazing! A friend and I came in super close to closing time and we were still exceptionally accommodated!!! Heard something horrible today, apparently the owner was approached by two people looking for jobs and was incredibly racist about hiring the one whom was a person of Color. And I quote," I'll hire the white one, but not the black one." I don't recommend giving these people your business, no matter the quality of food.

Had a great birthday lunch. The veggie spring roll appetizer is refreshing. I was given a complimentary blue Hawaiian drink for my birthday. We always enjoy our meals and the friendly atmosphere at Sabaidee’s.

I was passing through town recently, and decided to try out this restaurant. Reading some of the other mixed reviews, I was a bit hesitant at first, but I am glad I stopped by. The food, service and ambiance were great.

I started out with the Tom Kha, Coconut Soup. The consistency was a bit lighter (not as creamy) than I had expected, but the taste was delicious; very warm and fresh. Followed that with some great Sushi, the Shrimp Tempura Maki with avocados, scallions and spicy mayo, and it was just delicious. The main entree was an interestingly named dish, Shrimp Love Scallop, and I sure loved it. It had a hearty mix of sautéed Shrimp and Scallop, fresh ginger, snow peas, onions, etc. It was very savory, and again very fresh and nicely done.

I was very pleased that I stopped by, and if I am in town again, I will likely stop by again. If you would like to try a good Thai place, I’d say this restaurant is well worth a visit.

This is my favorite sushi spot in Farmington. Love the seaweed salad too.

Very disappointed in the way this restaurant handled their mistake in our take out order. Making the mistake is one thing but not acknowledging or expecting someone to travel more than 45 minutes to pick up food that they omitted from the order is crossing the line. I'll not give my business to this restaurant again.

Laotian larb is done well and that's a rare find... all their curries are wow, several of the Thai noodles are excellent.... this is big city Thai and Laotian food in a small town... recommended for the food

The food was fun, really well presented, and tasted great. The portions are also quite generous.
The only thing was that the one time we went in to sit down we ended up waiting hours for our food. It wouldn't have been a huge deal, but we also had a 1 year old and a 3 year old at our table.

The food was good, and portions were pretty large, but we sat for over an hour and a half before getting our food. Our server took a while to greet us, and after he took our order, we waited for at least half an hour for him to bring our drinks. They were apologetic about our wait, but we were not checked on often, and we were overall displeased with the service and wait time, especially since we had two little kids with us. The food tastes great, though, so I’d advise other customers to get take out rather than trying to eat in.

Came in with a party of 12 and it took 20 min to get a drink order in, another 20 to get our drinks. Placed our food order and I understand we had a big party but 40 min to get food. I couldn't tell you how the food is because I never got mine. Was never asked if anyone needed a refill on drinks, never asked how the food was (I would have said I never got mine), but of course it was on the bill. After telling them to take the food I never got off my bill you'd think they would apologize, but no, I got the bill back to pay for my Pepsi. I might give it another try, but when 15% gratuity is automatically added to service like that, I'm all set. Not to mention driving an hour just to eat here.

Our new favorite Thai place around. We’ve eaten pad Thai at every restaurant from here to Augusta, and sabadee is the best. Chicken satay was delicious as well as the bubble tea. We will be back often!

First time there. Everything was very tasty however, I wish the waiter told us that the food we ordered were not single servings. One order of soup could've fed 4 and one serving of curry could've fed 2-3. So we over ordered therefore overpaid. I would go back but I will make sure to order 1 main dish for sharing.

Decided to stop into Sabaidee Thai for some appetizers and a birthday cocktail. It turned into one of the best, memorable experiences we’ve ever had! Our server (Lucky) was so fun and personable! He brought my husband a special birthday cocktail (that was delicious)! We ordered summer rolls and spring rolls and crab rangoons and the freshness and flavor was 12 out of ten!! So good! We enjoyed every aspect of this incredible restaurant. Cannot wait to go back and can’t recommend enough!

Great little Thai restaurant! Had the Red curry and it was excellent!

We’ve frequented Sabaidee for almost a decade and while I have no issues with the food for the most part, today is the last day I will go back because of customer service.

Let me explain: every single time we’ve ordered from them, we’ve ordered for a family. As such, every single time, our order is large (read: expensive). Instead of adding it to their page, making it a requirement, etc for payment BEFORE pick-up…they attempt (sometimes) to call you after the order is placed, but before pick up (because of expense). Today, that left my disabled body sitting in 90° full sun heat, waiting for an order I had placed 40 minutes beforehand (we waited at home until it was close to pick up).

*I understand the desire to not lose money.

*I also understand that if you can have online ordering, you can add a “pay now” button…there are PLENTY of restaurants on the area (both small and chain) where you have to pay AT TIME of order.

Until Sabaidee either changes their online ordering to force pay or stop this “we didn’t make you pay at time of order because it says ‘pick up’ but we want payment before we start making it because it is a large order and we don’t want to lose money so we will wait till they show up to get their food.”

The atmosphere is great, the staff are friendly and helpful, had a great time with my family. Ordered the kimchi noodle soup and it was fantastic, had a massive portion too well worth the price. Other members in our party had sushi, fried fish, and orange chicken and while I can't say for myself how they were, there was glowing reviews from them, cleaned their plate. Highly recommended to anyone who likes Asian food!

Food is great, but I ordered online and it took over an hour to come out. They were not busy. Three people came in, were seated, ordered, and ate before my food was finished. Four people who placed online orders after me also received their food before me.

Great first time experience.

Just returned home from celebrating my birthday with my two kids at this establishment. They serve among the very best pad Thai I’ve ever had. The sauce was excellent. Each of the lads had the dragon roll, and they both disappeared. I was given a complimentary Thai sweet tea, which was a lovely gesture. This is just across the street from the Narrow Gauge, so combine a movie at a great theater with this eatery, and you’ve had a nice afternoon or evening. See Lucky when you go. He’ll make you feel glad you came.

You won't be Lucky if you get Lucky as your waiter. He won't explain the specials, or take the time to understand what you want. And, he handed us the check without asking if we wanted dessert. When I asked my bf if he wanted dessert as Lucky handed us the bill, Lucky just walked away! He didn't even acknowledge that we may have wanted dessert. Oh, and we were asked what we wanted to eat before we were asked what we wanted to drink. The place wasn't even busy. 3 other tables had customers.

My husband and I were desperately looking for a place to eat with 4 kids at 8:30 at night. Sabaidee Thai, even though they were super busy with many other diners & only had 30 minutes till their closing time, they were very welcoming and fed all 6 of us with savory Thai noodles. The waitor Tony was very friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we were having a good time. We will definitely come back to try other dishes on the menu :)

Service was extremely slow. 5 families seated after our table were served ate and left before we were served. It took an hour to take our orders. We got our own silverware and water. Their priority was take out rather than customers seated in front of you.

The service is great, but the quality is sadly lacking. The pad Thai had almost no veggies or sprouts and was way too sweet. Same for drunken noodles...made with frozen carrots and broccoli, just a symbolic amount for color.

The service was great, and the food was well presented. However, the noodle dishes were very, very sweet. Both the pad Thai and the drunken noodles were much sweeter than I've had at any other Thai restaurant, and the sweetness overpowered every other flavor.

Food was fantastic, I had the green curry, be sure to tell them if you don't want it spicy. Had the thai martini, delicious and freshly made without the gross mixer some places use. Waiter was great, attentive and great sense of humor.

Fantastic! I wasn’t very hungry, so I just got the crab rangoon and it was amazing! My family loved their food, too. The workers were super nice and the place was decorated beautifully. I have never had better crab rangoon in my life and the atmosphere of the restaurant is great. I definitely recommend for anyone in the area.

Stay away!!!!They completely forgot the entire first half of our order. Served rice that was clearly microwave cooked in a plastic sandwich baggie, because the baggie was still on the slimy rice that was supposed to be "sticky". The drink menu was hand written with no indication of what in them. Staff was very rude when we complained, we offered to pay for the drink we had but they insulted us and ran us out with some pretty disrespectful words.. would have given less stars but one was the least.. horrible establishment,

It's my first time to dine in at their restaurant.(We ordered take out twice) Staff and the owner are very friendly and sweet. Their food and drinks are awesome. Even my parents in law loved them.Their food and drinks reminds me of what I have in the Philippines. So having a restaurant like theirs feels a bit homey.❤
