That being said, last week, I was craving Thai food and didn’t feel like driving far so decided to give THAiLiCiOUS another chance after 7 months and they didn’t disappoint. Food was good like before from appetizers to entrees, por pia sod, fresh spring rolls cooked with shrimp, chicken and mixed vegetables, tom kha gai soup with sliced chicken in coconut milk, my favorite chicken Penang, yellow curry, indian style with chicken, Thai fried rice are a must order and pad Thai with chicken. Their white jasmine rice which comes with entrees are good too. I’m originally from New York City but this Thai place can match any of the Thai restaurants of NYC. And 4 people can eat easily for around $70 bucks.

Had Red Curry, Yellow Curry & Chicken fried rice. All were really good, the servers were very nice and the food wasn't overpriced like some other local restaurants. Definitely will come back!

Most bland food i have ever eaten, and absolutely the WORST "Thai food"(I hesitate to besmirch the country by claiming this is Thai)
I ordered the #20, the so-called "spicy fried rice". The second mentioned ingredient is "Thai chilies", they must have given me the experimental invisible and flavorless ones. My "fried rice" is white! It looks and tastes like plain white rice with some veggies in it. We went back to ask for a packet of chili powder and was warned by the lady of the spicy-ness and she refused to give us a second packet. I will never waste my time or money again with this place. I'll stick to Thai Zaap in Metairie and I suggest you do the same.

Best Thai food around! We get this once a week. Can't go wrong with the Tom Kha Gai, Pho, or Panang Curry. Crab Rangoons are good but the quality is inconsistent, sometimes they are good sometimes not so much.

Thailicious didn't live up to it's name. We had a long wait after being seated to get menus, then order. In fairness, the sole waitress was serving many tables. Our appetizers- shrimp rolls and fried spring rolls were delicious. Unfortunately our entrees - Pad Thai and Gai Pad Med Ma-Muong were bland and the cashews in the Gai Pad were burned for which a $10 credit was given.

Tried to call to place order - line on listed # not in service. Placed online order stated would be ready at 11:21. Left in my PJs to go ok up order. Arrived curbside 11:15 Noone came out. Sign had same #for curbside posted in curbside that I had called before. Call # not working #. Go inside in my PJs Noone acknowledged me. Another customer came in after me stood like I did after over 5 minutes he walked out. A group of men walk in after they were not greeted or waited on they asked me wtheck was going on I said idk been standing here 10:min & nvr acknowledged. Finally man comes up ignores me & asks if he can help them - they respond - how about helping this lady first? Man acknowledges me I explain he says order almost ready. Seats men group. Comes bk w food at 11:35. My eggs were ordered over easy were over hard. 1 sausage link over cooked & order not hot. EVERY time I go here PROBLEMS. Best advice? Skip this rest

Pad Thai just wasn’t up to the standard of what I would call Thai food. Bland, very odd taste. I didn’t finish meal, I would not go back or recommend.

I hate to give this place a good review because I love it so much and I'm afraid that if a lot of people start going here I won't be able to get a table anymore. The place lives up to its name though it's authentic Thai food that is delicious.

Everything was excellent!

We came in tonight after going to three other places trying to eat dinner at 6:30 on a Friday night. The small dining room was open and our party of six was immediately seated. I didn’t catch our waitresses name, but she was great. Very efficient and nice. We watched as 8 other tables came in after us, one after the other, filing every open table in the restaurant over the next 20 minutes. Our sweet waitress handled all these table on her own. Food came out for everyone - all other tables included - in a timely fashion. People had to wait for her to get to them for a few minutes, but she was the only one on the floor. There were also people walking in for take out orders as well. Food was very good; fresh and seasoned well. All around great experience. We’ll be back!

I had the vegetable red curry (Gaeng Daeng Curry) and the Pad Woodsen with veggie spring rolls. I love the Pad Woodsen, but it could have had more vegetables and less onions. The red curry could have had a little more carrots. All and all I enjoyed the flavors.

Thailicious is amazing. You can expect the quality of the food to always be phenomenal. I always get the chicken Pad Thai and my wife gets the Curry. The flavors in the Curry transcend you somewhere else when it touches your palate.

While I haven’t found the love of Thai food that many on here have, I still very much enjoyed myself. I had the crispy egg noodles in Thai gravy with chicken. The dish was very flavorful and presented well. There was also plenty so it was a filling experience for sure. The best part of the entire meal however, had nothing to do with food but with the service. The young lady who was waitressing that night was incredibly helpful and polite. She made suggestions for a first time Thai-er, she constantly checked on me, refills flowed, and she made some light pleasant conversation. The experience is just as valuable as the quality of food and she rocked it!

Disgusting to find long hair in my Pad Thai take out. Chicken satay was tough. Overall flavourless. I will not return or recommend.

Wife and I had a delicious lunch here yesterday. She ate the Pad Thia and I had the Drunken Noodles. Both were excellent. We had the Mango sticky rice for dessert and it was incredible. Great place for a good price. Highly recommend.

The quickest and yummiest Thai food. Always love the sweet service every time I come in.

Portion size is small for the price paid. Only a few small pieces of chicken (5 maybe). Paid $10 with tax. If you go to a Chinese restaurant, you can get more bang for the buck. Taste of the food is not all that good either.

Best Restaurant in Slidell. Hands down. I wish I could give 6 stars! The owner and chef buys fresh produce daily, the food is cooked authentically. The portions are huge and she (the owner/chef) will cook to your needs. I'm diabetic and she went out of her way to make my Pho as low carb as possible. My inlaws cant have very spicy food and she accommodated that. If you like authentic Thai food there is no substitute. Give this place a try, you wont be disappointed.

Very slow. Several customers came after us and were served before us. All the food came spread out so none of our party ate together. I've eaten much better Thai food. Perhaps it was an off night but after the many great reviews I was sadly disappointed.

From the lunch menu we had the L1 yellow curry and L12 pad woodsen. Both were so delicious that we immediately decided we must come back and try additional dishes, but would definitely get L1 & L12 again.

Update: Have been here a few more times and can say this place has the best Crab Rangoon I've ever had and I've had many. I usually go for Pad See Ew but that dish is not my favorite here. Here I have fallen in love with the Rad Naa. Can't go wrong with #27 or #28.

There are unfortunately not very many Thai restaurants in Slidell but of those that are, this is a very nice one. I especially liked their coconut soup and the size "cup" they give you is the equivalent of a boel at most places, which makes it a very good value as well as being very tasty. I go to Thai restaurants primarily because I love their curry dishes and this was no exception. I have had all of their various curry dishes and find each one delicious, appropriately portioned and while they may be slightly higher priced than others, I find it also worth the price paid for the quality of food and the fact I didn't have to drive to New Orleans or Covington to get it cheaper. Will I go back? Oh yes! Over and over again!

Found this restaurant on a Google search of nearby restaurants. It's in a strip mall with no parking lot lights at all. The curtains are closed, you can't see what you're about to walk into. We got there one hour before closing and was a little Leary about walking in. But Wow, authentic little place, clean, super friendly and professional!! The food was all ecoerly prepated. Got an appitzer , forgot it's name but it was an order on two bags, deep fried bags of goodness. Ordered the crispy noodle dish, the best I ever had. Also the best mango sticky rice. My wife got the fried catfish. Total price $42. Gotta go back soon.

Every time we have gone to Thailicious we have gotten excellent meals and super service. Chef Cathy makes everything fresh once it's ordered, and she's very accommodating to dietary restrictions where she can.

Some of the best Thia food we have had. The fried tofu and chicken satay were great to start the meal. Pad Thia, my favorite, was very good and my wife had the Yellow curry with shrimp. The yellow curry was very, very good. We arrived during the lunch and the restaurant was full with one waitress. She almost ran to serve everyone. She actually did an incredible getting everyone. Highly recommend this restaurant. Don't let the strip mall throw you, the inside is well appointed.
