Had a lunch meeting here. It was my 1st time visiting. They are right next to Toast, which I frequent and they are always busy. While inside, there were a lot of to go orders. Inside was nice but the AC must have not been working because it was hot. Our server was great. I got the fried rice and it was the best fried rice I’ve ever had. I can eat this every day. I added shrimp as my protein. I will definitely make this a normal to go place for my family.

Blown away by how great this place is! The best Thai I've had in the US thus far. Cute interior, everything tasted fantastic from the tom yum soup to curries, noodle dishes and even their dessert was outstanding. Highly recommend!!!

This place is quickly becoming a favorite. The staff here is amazing and the food is even better! We are working our way through the menu and have not been disappointed by anything. You have to get the Thai beignets for dessert! I rarely order dessert at the end of a meal, but I am so glad I did. These were so good. Can't wait to go back soon.

The dish of rice with combination of beef, shrimp, chicken and cashew got the taste buds going yummy. Definitely come back another day.

Thai food in mid city New Orleans is rare... GREAT Thai food in mid-city New Orleans has never happened before. Thai'd Up NOLA is amazing.

We got the Jalapeno Poppers to start. Such an amazing heat! We loved the spicy flavors mixing with the crab flavors. It helped prepare the palette for the Spicy Eggplant! This dish is so good.... AND SPICY! just the way I like it, I had a few tears coming down my face. The eggplant was prepared in such a way it looked like oysters. I felt any true vegetarian would love how it feels like you are cheating, but you are not.

This Gentilly treasure is a must do.

Great service . The pad Thai , on the other hand was spicy indeed level #4 but it didn’t have any flavor to it and the protein ( shrimp) was scarce.

I have only ever ordered takeout but let me tell you -this is the most delicious Thai food I have ever had. The desserts are fantastic - get the Thai beignets, you'll be addicted. And the spice level is very well adjusted - we have ordered from "no spice" to "Thai hot" and it is indeed accurate.

We came here for lunch and it was spectacular. My boyfriend got the pad thai and I got the spicy fried rice! The pad thai was one of the best meals I've ever had in a really long time and you can tell each option on the menu is authentic.

Pad Thai was great and fresh, no soggy noodles. The service was very fast and my server was polite and knowledgeable about the menu

Words cannot describe how wonderful this restaurant is! Came here with a family of 9 and the service and food was impeccable! This location is small so beware it gets very busy and rightfully so! Food is beyond amazing and the staff are extremely kind and hardworking. Though everything we ordered was awesome, their beignets are hands down some of the best the city has to offer. I cannot wait to visit again!

Great Thai! Appreciate this place because the City has plenty creole a d not enough vegetable based options. If you eat at Thai’d up you must order the Roti = yummy 😋 I ate it so fast couldn’t grab a pic. I also enjoyed the veggie spring tolls and Thai fried rice. The Thai begnets were ok ( I will just stick with the traditional version).

This place is nothing short of phenomenal. I'll explain. my 15 y.o. and I are constantly on the search for a good Pad kra pao (Holy Basil/Spicy Basil) that's actually SPICY . Don't sleep on this neighborhood spot. Even if, like me, you're from a different neighborhood (or even State/Country/Planet) this place is legit. Awesome, friendly service and atmosphere here. Can't wait to bring my son. Fair warning: Thai hot is just that... ...FINALLY! Can't go wrong with Thai'd Up!

Very good overall dining experience.

I am gonna try this place again because they were so nice and the food was fresh, but it just didnt hit like i wish it would have. The pad thai was ok, not great...and the roti was the same. The grilled chicken was very very good and made me curious to see what other specialties they may offer

went on a Friday night recently and it was packed. It’s a small space with limited seating. There were many pickup orders and the restaurant seemed short staffed but it took us a while to get even our waters. The food was good it a bit overpriced. My favorite item was the roti by far

Most under rated Thai place in the whole city - it hits the spot every. single. time. Everything on the menu is delicious especially the special spicy basil stir fry with chopped up chicken. The owners are super nice every time too. If you're thinking about it, just go!

Fantastic food, service …excellent take on beignets

The food was excellent. I did notice though that the spice level was a little higher than what I'm used to. I ordered the "mild" level but, in my opinion, that was spicier than expected. I like it though. I'm happy I didn't order "strong" because I don't think I would have handled it. The restaurant is located next to a bar and you have to aim to be left when you get there. The restaurant is relatively small so you might have to wait for a table when you get there.

This is a small little space with modest decor, but the food and service is amazing. Had one of the best drunken noodles in a while, the sweetness and sourness and hotness was perfect. Palm sugar it is.

I love Thai’d Up! I’ve had Thai food from different places in this city and others, but nothing compares to the flavor and service offered here. Seating is limited inside, but take out is always on time and the portions are great for the price.

There are 5 levels of spicy ,I had level 2 it was too spicy for me , food was excellent ,just the portions was on the small side

I ordered takeout for dinner and everything was fresh and delicious! The wings were made to order and crispy. Veggie egg rolls were so good… crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Thai basil with chicken was amazing! And the fried rice with shrimp was sooo good! I live about 30 mins away and the food was still hot when I finally ate!! Can’t say enough about the quality! I’ll definitely be back!

I don’t know where to start. My meal was AMAZING. Clean layered savory flavors. The roti…The drunken noodles… the Thai tea smh. I live three blocks down and had no idea this hidden gem even existed. THE BEST ! Don’t let anybody tell you that you have to travel to Cali or NYC for awesome Thai food. Believe me, you need to come check them out. Awesome Customer Service as well.

Very good Thai! They were killing it during jazz fest. About 30mins to an hour to food but took call ins and served up some seriously good Thai! Great drunk food! Super flavorful!

The food was absolutely awesome! We dined on various fried rice dishes, noodle dishes, fried Rangoon, egg rolls and mango with sticky rice for dessert. We are all stuffed, and feeling really good with what we ate.

Phenomenal food, people, and service

The meal was delicious. We enjoyed the drunken noodles (medium) with chicken, Thai wings, and side of roti. The flavors were on point and everything was hot and fresh. Also, the service was great and the owners were so friendly. I would definitely recommend coming here.

SO GOOD. I'm very picky with my Thai food but this actually measures up to the West Coast. Its a small room, doesnt look likr much, but the food is fabulous. Perfectly balanced flavours. As soon as I tasted the dipping sauce for the roti, I was like "OH!! I'm about to eat some goooood Thai food!"

Small Thai place in Gentilly. We ordered the tom yum soup, red curry and pineapple fried rice. All of the food was delicious, especially the pineapple fried rice! They give you generous portions, enough to share. And the pineapple fried rice had loads of pineapple!! We finished with the sticky mango rice and that was definitely the icing on the cake! The sticky rice was served warm and with the mango, just melted in your mouth like warm butter. Dinner was delectable, and our server was really attentive and nice. It's a small place so expect a wait during busy times and to circle the block a few times looking for street parking. Overall though, definitely worth a visit!

Only reason I am giving 4 star review and not 5 is the to go container is Styrofoam. Not cool in this day and age of climate change, especially in NOLA. I know everything is expensive but we all gotta respect our planet. I work in a restaurant that puts a small charge on paper to go and nobody complains.

I visited this place for Lunch with my Husband, and ordered Thai fresh rolls, Drunken noodles, Green curry and Tom Yum Soup.
Every dish was delicious and quantity was also good.
They were out of Thai tea that time, but it was alright .
All in all, it was worth it.

If you want spicy, you gonna get spicy but soooooo tasty. The eggplant stirfry was sooo good.

I love Thai'd Up!! As you can see from the name the whole concept of great Thai food was well thought out the food is always AMAZING. Since I was introduced by my Nephew several wees ago, I have been back multiple times. I have introduced many friends to Thai'd and they love it enough to introduce their friends. 100% my new go-to place for fantastic Thai food! In fact, it should be everyone’s go-to for Thai food! I placed a takeout order and immediately chowed down the second I got home - I wish I took a couple pictures but the stomach wants what the stomach wants!!

The yellow curry was flavorful and decadent, the drunken noodle had the perfect amount of spice (I asked for medium spice level), the buttery roti-roti flatbread paired so well with the curry dip, and my Thai tea was fresh and brewed to perfection. Not only was everything amazing, but the portions were incredibly generous as well! Even though I didn’t order any desserts, I will definitely come back to try the mango with sweet sticky rice and more!

I have no doubts that Thai’d Up will soon become NOLA’s next hidden gem, and I plan on coming back time and time again.
