Had the opportunity to dine here a few days ago, it was a pretty solid choice. The reason I gave it four stars instead of five was due to the price, it seemed like for lunch it was just a tad high. That’s a matter of perspective and I get that, but the food was exceptional. The dumplings were some of the best ones that I’ve ever had. They had a great flavor good texture just really all-around great food. I went with the Thai fried rice and was not disappointed, added some shrimp to it and made it a great meal. We also had a couple of spinach sushi rolls, that turned out excellent! And then the calamari for the appetizer was really good. It was clean service was good, and the building was well-maintained. If you’re looking for a good place to get some good Thai food, I think this will be where you should check.

I have to update. We have done lunch take out a couple of time recently and it’s been awful. The food hasn’t been great and the orders are ALWAYS wrong and there is ALWAYS something missing. It’s going to be a while before we go back. Please. Ensure the food is correct and all in the order. Especially with lunch take out. It’s usually people hungry at work and need to eat and can’t return to rectify your mistakes.

We’ve enjoyed dinner at Jasmine Thai twice in the last several months. Both times service was great as was the food. I’m super picky about sushi but the sushi bar is always clean and the food is prepared well and tastes fresh.

For a small town restaurant, Jasmine has a pretty wide variety of sushi rolls. Last night we had two eel rolls and a sunset roll. Sunset roll is tempura shrimp with crab on top. Really good and it’s got more to it than a regular roll so much more filling. The eel roll was awesome. We ended up getting two. The eel sauce on top is good, not too sweet.
We also had a plate of broccoli beef, orange chicken and two sides of fried rice. Everything was yummy.

Restaurant is clean, bathroom is clean. Servers are super nice. Kid friendly dining. Plenty of parking.

I moved to Murray two years ago and tried this place first—it was fantastic. Recently, I had a meal that was burnt, but the management reached out to apologize and invited me to try again on them. I’m glad I did! I ordered the Tom Yum fried rice, and it was incredible. The spiciness was just right, and it was cooked to perfection. I really appreciate that they contacted me, and I’m looking forward to returning. Thank you, Nolan, for your excellent customer care!

Need the old upper management back. To whoever the new people are running this place, know your running it to the ground.

My husband and I ate here tonight. We found the restaurant clean and classy. We tried the Salt and Pepper Calamari at the recommendation of the waitress. It was very good and flavorful! I had the Shrimp and Avocado salad with Ginger dressing and he had the Orange Chicken. They were both delicious. We found the portions a good size for the price as well. Our waitress was excellent! Overall wonderful experience and we will be back!

My husband and son LOVE it here I am not as impressed. Our waitress was great! Manager was great. My husband and son went on and on about how great the sushi was. There was lots of confusion with the bill though. It wasn’t on purpose and everyone makes mistakes so not a big deal. But check your receipts. No matter where you are.

I ordered steak teriyaki to go. They didn’t give any teriyaki sauce so it was just a plain steak with no seasoning!! The fries were so salty I couldn’t eat them! I paid a lot of money for very nasty food!

Not sure why Jasmine can't post on their social media pages when they're closed like other local restaurants... Be sure and call to see if they're open so you don't waste your time and gas. Seems to be a reoccurring problem for this place, amongst other things.

Food was pretty good, but expected a better lunch menu. Seemed a little pricey for no more than I got for lunch.

Tuna Tataki was over cooked & dry. This is the 3rd visit to Jasmine recently where the quality of the food was sub-par. Jasmine has been my favorite restaurant in Murray since they opened, but my last 4 visits have not been great.

This was our second visit. Thankfully, the service and food were much improved. I had the Basil Duck, and my wife had the sweet and sour chicken. Both of our meals were delicious. We were with a group. Our server was very attentive. All of our meals were brought out together and in a timely fashion. It was a wonderful experience all around.

Food and service is great but I’ve been here over 30 times over the years and I’m tired of the gust of wind that picks up when the door to the business opens! What’s up with that?

To parents of Autistic children or young adults: why support a business that is not family friendly? There are PLENTY of businesses that welcome customers with special needs, and their different food choices. Don’t fall for their “justification” that they give you at the door. Why should you worry when you go out to eat, if they’re going to let your child eat with you, just because he or she will not be ordering from their menu? Spend your money elsewhere!

They do not allow outside food even though a family member is AUTISTIC and will only eat certain foods. Which this establishment does not offer.It's quite sad honestly, poor costumer service!!!

This was our favorite restaurant before we moved out west, we just moved back 3 days ago and couldn’t wait to come here again especially since it was my wife’s birthday today, things are hectic when moving across the country so our time line wasn’t the best and we ended up coming in super close to closing time, the manager allowed us to call ahead and have our sushi ready (thank you so much for letting us do that by the way) we both felt really bad for coming in rite as they where about to close, everyone there STILL made us feel super welcome and happy to have us, which means a lot to us given the last 2 1/2 years in Seattle. if you have time to stop by I highly recommend the MSU roll, the beauty and the beast roll, and my personal favorite, the crab dragon. Thank you so much for making my wife’s birthday wish come true to be able to sit down and have a peaceful 1 on 1 time for us which was so desperately needed after such a stressful time in life. We look forward to getting back to our bi weekly sushi dinner dates!

Drunken noodles are great!

I'm from NJ outside of NYC and I have had amazing Thai food. I have had the most awful time trying to find anything with a resemblance to real Thai Food in the West TN/KY area. I ordered the pad thai and my husband got the cashew nuts stir fry, we shared the spring rolls.
We both really enjoyed our meals! We were shocked, just from past experiences elsewhere where we walk away saying that was not THAI food. But this definitely resembled Thai food I've gotten in NJ.

Pleasantly surprised! We will be back!

The only complaint I have is the 10% online ordering fee. That just rubbed me the wrong way as I didn't see it when I ordered online, only saw on my receipt after my order was picked up.

Edit: droppimg from 4 to 3. Becoming to common to get the order wrong. Also takes a long time. Ordered ground chicken, Thai Spicy, with wasabi and ginger for the sushi. Soy sauce and chopsticks. They confirmed it on the phone. When I get there, person in front of me waited for quite a while as they got the food. I waited a while as they got mine. Finally got it, they asked if I wanted soy sauce and chop sticks, told them yes, again. Got home, no wasabi or ginger, regular chicken instead of ground, and not really that spicy. Food still tastes good, but would be nice if the order was right.

Original: Some of the dishes are very good, some are okay. Basil fried rice, basil stir fry, and drunken noodle are my favorites. The sushi is also very good.

My family and I really enjoy going to Jasmine. The service is great, servers are always helpful, attentive and friendly. The Pad Thai, Drunken noodles, & Sesame chicken are all great dishes. I also like the seaweed salad & the Chicken soup w/ lemongrass & coconut milk ( I can't recall the exact name.) The prices are quite reasonable, too!

Food is always fresh and tastes good. They have wonderful crab rangoons. I haven't tried the whole menu, but everything I've had was wonderful. I recommend orange chicken, fried sampler appetizer and side salad with ginger dressing. Service is always great!

Great atmosphere, welcoming staff and delicious food. Waiter Cam was amazing. He recommended several great dishes and kept drinks full! The manager also stopped by and was very kind. Definitely will be back.

Cam was an excellent server 10/10, deserves a big fat raise. He kept the beer full and the sushi rolls coming back to back. I highly recommend asking for CAM! He also gives off Harry Potter vibes, if Harry was 6’2.

I’m in town for work and was recommended the Jasmine by a friendly worker at my hotel. I tried the Kentucky roll based on recommendation from my server Kaylee. It might be my favorite sushi roll that’s I’ve ever eaten and I’ve been to hundreds of sushi/asian fusion restaurants across the country. My only regret is that I live 10 hours away from Murray and only have one or two opportunities a year to be in the area. Will definitely be back again when I come back to town. Highest recommendation. You should definitely come and try for yourself.

Stopped here for a quick bite while passing through Murray and I have been CRAVING it ever since. it was SO good. I can’t express enough how much I loved the environment, the service was outstanding and the food… oh my, the food was exquisite. I am so beyond impressed. Must try if you are in the area, can’t go wrong with the sushi!

Jasmines is one of my favorite spots in Murray. The food is always phenomenal, the restaurant is always clean, and the staff is great. I always recommend Jasmines to anyone looking for a great bite to eat in a small town.

Every delivery has been great except my most recent seafood Thai rice. The muscles still had sand and shells. Going there, service is great.

Excellent food and we keep coming back. Service is always expected to be slow, but overall acceptable. We did have one negative experience here, but are willing to look past it.

It was eh. Overpriced for quality. Food presentation was great compared to quality and dishes marked spicy were absolutely not.

Quality has gone down significantly over the years while price has gone up. The food I’ve ordered recently was nothing like it used to be. The portions are not at all worth what they charge.. I used to get curry here all the time as there’s nowhere else in Murray except for Willow Bistro to get Thai curry (and neither are authentic.) Now I just can’t justify over $17 for one small bowl. I realize prices have gone up everywhere and maybe they are just trying to cover expenses, but the current menu prices are just not reasonable at all.

Last time I visited with my family none of us enjoyed our food. The noodles were mushy and not seasoned well. The waitress asked if I would like vegetables in my dish and I said yes without knowing I was being upcharged until I got the bill. There is never enough rice so you must pay extra for a decent amount and are also charged if you want any other type of rice.

I don’t plan to return unless major changes are made, which bums me out because this used to be my favorite restaurant in town! I would urge the owner and managers to explore ways to improve the quality and experience to match pricing.

Pricey but good

After the new management this place is great. The bartender makes great drinks. Didn’t have to wait very long for the food and the servers where quick and very friendly.

Jasmines is one of my favorite restaurants in Murray. I bartended and served for 20 years, and I find the servers to be knowledgeable, friendly and very good at their job. Gray is one bartender/server I admire that works at Jasmines. Gray knows how to properly make drinks which I have found most other bartenders in the area fall short on. They either put too much alcohol, (thinking they are doing you a favor, but it just makes the drink taste bad) or I have to guide them through the process of making a common cocktail like a dirty martini or tom collins. I have also noticed that Gray helps other servers without a complaint. I look forward to my next visit to Jasmines.

My wife and I love eating at Jasmine. The food is always good (I tend to rotate between the Curry and the Sushi) and the service is always friendly and professional. Gray always takes good care of us whether at our table or behind the bar. Great service.

This restaurant is absolutely amazing!! You will not be disappointed!! The teriyaki steak, miso soup and large garden salad with ginger dressing is so,so good. The staff and manager were very nice. One of our favorite places to go.

Service was incredibly slow tonight, and the food was sup-par to put it nicely. I don't want to blame the workers bc its always been so consistently good in the past, but today it seemed WILDLY understaffed (even for a slow day) whereas yesterday they had a full staff. Makes you wonder what upper management has done to make them be so understaffed...

This restaurant is very, very slow even when it's not busy there. There were two tables that had 3 people at one and two people at the other. We waited about 35 minutes for our order. We didn't even order much. What I saw was the employees talking a lot. Unbelievable!!

$17.50 is far too much money to pay for 1 1/2 cup of tofu curry and 1/2 cup of rice. :-(( Also, they no longer have peanut dressing for salads so plopped ginger sauce on my salad without asking and when i asked my server to take it back it was left on my bill. NEVER AGAIN.

Host was not friendly at all. It was very slow and our waitress did not have any personality. We used to come here all the time and it was wonderful. The last few times we have not been impressed. However, Demetrius is the best!

I got chicken teriyaki and the chicken was a bit overcooked but not too bad. Everything else was delicious. Daughter got a tsunami roll and said it was great. We visited the Murray location.

We arrived around 6 pm. The wait staff was efficient but not overly friendly. The food took awhile, but was quality. There were three of us. We ordered an appetizer (fried sampler), a sushi roll (the Beauty and Beast roll), chicken and shrimp pad Thai, and chicken lo mein. We had leftovers!

We chose to celebrate my mother's 70th birthday with dinner here. There were numerous tables open, as it was just at 5:00. I arrived with my husband, 15-year old nephew, and 10-year old son to get a table for 7. The hostess took one look at my crew and walked off to chat with another hostess, whispering, "No, we don't want to sit them there." She returned back and told us it would be a 45-minute wait. When I questioned about all the open tables, she again replied with, "It's a 45 minute wait." Needless to say, we won't be returning back here when we visit, and I also let my parents know, who frequented that restaurant, and they will not be returning either.

The food is always good here! It's a treasure in Murray and can't ever go away. 😂

Delicious sushi. We have lived in several states along the coast and we were shocked by how bad most sushi was around here. Pleasantly surprised by Jasmine. We have found our sushi place!

The food at Jasmine is average at best. The main issue for me is that this place is entirely too expensive for what is offered. I've been to Thai places out of state that serve better food for half the cost. I ordered Tom Yum with Shrimp and a Philly roll. I guess they can constantly upcharge for subpar food and people still keep coming. The most outrageous part for me was the $2 charge for ginger and wasabi for sushi. I've been to many sushi restaurants and this is the first place I've been that has charged for wasabi and ginger. If people don't eat it that's one thing, just don't punish those who enjoy it by charging extra for it.

If Covid is the tired excuse for the upcharges, then cut down the menu and make a higher quality product.

The worst experience I've had in a long time. Me and my partner sit down to eat without knowing it would take nearly an hour for our pork dishes to arrive. Even then, the pork tasted like it had been microwaved from yesterday's leftovers. And this place was DEAD! So I have no clue how it took so long to microwave 2 simple dishes.

Went for lunch, the meal I had was way to sweet so much that you couldn't taste any of the other spices and on top of that it was cold.
Maybe it was setting for awhile while the other 3 meals were being made.

Omg what happened to the prices..... I mean it's still the same place with the same food ... What??? Ya it's good! Amazing actually,. but ... what happened? Worked here it is top of the line Murray! Just a lil over rated I wanna give it a 4.5 but can not. clean kitchen good food. Absolutely the best atmosphere dining in Murray! I can not do 5/5 only because the price for the food. PERFECT upscale date night in this town.

Strike 2 -we are regulars at jasmine and we were disappointed by the lack of ability of anyone who can find a seating solution in the bar. We eat here frequently and will be hard pressed to return considering the service.

No bartender… no bar seating. Ok. But there is a table in the bar being served. Can we take a high top, so we can enjoy the game and eat? Nope! Excuse upon excuse.

Problem - these folks don’t understand customer service. We weren’t asking for a rooftop spot. Just a seat where we can enjoy our usual haunt.

Solid 3 stars. If I rate for the area, definitely a 5. Lots of cream cheese in the rolls. You can find some fresh rolls with decent portions of fish.

This place is good but pricy for what you get. A Thai iced tea is almost $5 and mostly ice. I got the green curry with chicken and it smelled awful but the taste was okay. Overall i am just very underwhelmed for the cost of the food and the taste of it. They do have good servers though that are very sweet it is a very redeeming quality of theirs. I have been there several times now and the only dish I’ve had that I truly loved was the lettuce wraps.

First time I came it was good. The sushi roll was made very well. Second time, I ordered a la carte sashimi and the portion size for $10 was very small. Disappointing. The spicy crab salad was neither spicy, nor made with crab… rather with “krab”meat, fake crab.

I could have picked up a pre made sushi roll from kroger and it would have been better than the Crab Dragon roll i got from this place.
The spring rolls werent good, tough and hard to chew.
I used to like their food so much that i couldnt stop eating what i had in front of me, even when i was full. Tonight- i threw away half of all of it.
(I will say the drunken noodles were pretty close to their normal quality)..
On top of poor food quality they have cut back on costs and spending so much that even when paying extra for a side of dressing you get MAYBE 3/4 of a tablespoon. The wasabi was from a package (like to go ketchup would be at a fast food restaurant)..personally for us its unacceptable for a restaurant to be so expensive and want to fit into a "classy" category, but serve packaged wasabi.
The food that we have recieved from here has been no better than a (less than mediocre) asian food buffet.

Jasmines is Amazing! Their sushi is always fresh, and ALWAYS delicious! They have plenty of options to choose from and everything I've ever eaten here has never dissapointed. My top rolls are the spicy crab, eastern peak, and the sunset roll. Anything with spicy mayo is bomb! If you don't care for sushi, they have the best beef and broccoli (get fried rice with it!) And their salmon is also very good!

Average at best. Watched my server serve 9 tables by herself with no busser to help. Waited 30 mins for Pad Thai after my meal was taken. For those whose time is important I would go elsewhere. For those who don’t mind sitting and waiting for 45 mins and enjoying the company of their friends more than the food, this might be the place for you. I won’t be coming back.

Food was great! Pricey for sure but good!.
