Thai food. Noodles, Curry, Fried rice. Dine-in.. For your convenience, please call in advance for your orders.
A+. I stopped at this restaurant on a business trip. I was greeted and seated quickly. This restaurant is in what looks to be a former fast food chain building. It's not the prettiest inside but it's very clean and well cared for. The food is A plus, authentic flavors and nice presentation. I will make this a go-to spot when I'm in Louisville. I highly recommend you try this place.
Doesn’t look great from the outside but this restaurant is amazing! The pad see ew is delicious & flavorful! Coconut shrimp were crispy and tasty. The shrimp mushroom soup had a good flavor but was mainly just broth so probably won’t get that one again. The mango boba tea was great as well. I can’t wait to come back 😊
The coconut soup was really tasty but mostly broth - the shrimp had a few small shrimp and some pieces of mushrooms, the chicken version had a little more to it. We tried the basil Thai chicken and that wasn’t something I’d order again, first the container was barely half filled and it tasted kind of soapy. I did really like the green curry as it had really nice, almost flavoring. The veggies and rice were a little undercooked to my liking so I’d pass on them next time. The pad si-ew was my fave of the trio… tasty and the pork was cooked really well!
3 month second try. Food and flavor was pretty good but again, many of the portions were only half filled. Disappointing.
On our way back to Louisville from Bardstown, KY, we planned to eat at the Cuban restaurant near by but it was closed, and we saw this one down the road. Ordered two dishes in the pics below. My dish in the black bowl tastes good as I expected but only came with a small amount. My friend’s dish is too spicy for him because the dish on the menu is not marked with an asterisk indicating that it’s spicy by default and the spicy level can be customized. As a spicy food eater, I also think it is way too spicy. The owner is nice enough to change a dish for my friend. May come back again.
Wonder Thai restaurant. I have eaten here twice now. The food is very fresh and well prepared.

Delicious food. Great service. Kind people. Several gluten free options available!
Delicious noodles. Best in town
Food is excellent and you get plenty to eat. Can order food as spicy or mild as you like.
The best Thai restaurant in Louisville.

Food was great. Service is always great.
My wife and I was looking for a place to try and glad we stopped here. The food is very well prepare, taste of the food is flavorful. I do not care for duck, but enjoyed it here. Give this place a chance. You will not regret it.
Great flavors, good prices.
I ordered chicken Thai. Reason for the one star is that it had a nice long hair in it. Clearly, the health standards are not what they need to be.
They changed some food items ...not a fan. The food 8s ok but there are better places
Great for lunch, fast and good service. Family run. Typical Thai dishes you would expect, executed well.
Great food that always tastes fresh. The place is very casual and no-frills, not somewhere you'd want to go for date night but a perfect spot for lunch. The portions continue to get smaller and smaller though. I've had to significantly cut back on eating here since I can't justify the value for money anymore. And now they charge the customer for their credit card processing fees. This is called a cost of doing business and shouldn’t be a surcharge on the customer’s bill. I understand times are hard with inflation though, so I wish them good luck.
Very good service, clean restaurant and that’s where it stops. This is my 2nd visit because honestly I forgot I’d been there before. I’m new to the area and have eaten REALLY good Thai food on the east coast and this ain’t it. The food was bland each time and to be honest I’m getting a theme from the ethnic foods that I’ve eaten since moving to KY, it ain’t hitting on nothing.
I ordered the fried rice with wings for carryout. The portion size wasn't much for what I paid for one entree, about $17 including tax without a beverage.
The food was just okay and I probably will try it another time, but order something else if I am in the area.
Been eating Thai food for the last 30 years, this must be the worst Thai food ever. Horrible 😞
Chicken Pad Thai was delicious. Generous portion, very quick service. Reasonable price.
I've thought of coming several times, but it always looked dark and thought it was closed.
Standard Thai in an old Taco Bell building.
I've been wanting to try this place whenever I pass it - small little place that appears to be family-owned which is always my go to. Their Thai tea was SO good and the food was great. Service was good, they were very kind and helped me make a decision when I was between a few dishes.
I got the sukiyaki and it was delicious! I like a good amount of spice and this had an indication of a 2/5 spice level on the menu. In my experience, Thai food amps up the spice real fast when you move up in level so I always stick with a level 2 the first time anywhere to get a good baseline of their spice - usually its either mild or you can tell just how spicy anything higher would be. I have a decent tolerance of spice so it was fine for me - not super mild but I could go up to a 3/5 as my max. I think somebody who doesn't eat a ton of spice or hasn't had pad thai/thai noodle dishes, 2/5 is probably the max level you would want to go.
Their crab rangoons are more savory than the usual sickly sweet, too which I personally love.
Definitely coming back!
As they sat the plate of food in front of me, the aroma came up. It smelled so good. It tasted as good as it smelled. I ate every bit of it. Yum!!
My first time, it was okay. Boba Tea was way too sweet for me. Coconut Shrimp Soup was good and the Pad Thai wasn't spicy enough.
3 month second try. Food and flavor was pretty good but again, many of the portions were only half filled. Disappointing.
Placed an order for shrimp pah thai. Loved the dish. However I missed the peanut pieces and the lime. I would definitely order it again. It was delicious.
We order from here regularly & it never disappoints! I like to order through their website so I can make special requests (like no egg, etc). They’ve always made our food as ordered & it’s very consistent! Definitely worth checking out! It’s the best that we’ve had in the city.
This is a great place. Real Thai food with real taste. They come up short on heat sometimes. 🥵
The modern music was a nice touch!
The service is something special. I love there steamed dumplings!!!! I always order the beef curry. The food is hot, fresh, and so delicious. I have been frequenting this restaurant for years and they continue to give this area great food!!! This place is great
Thai noodle is my favorite restaurant in Louisville hands down! If I could rate this restaurant 10 stars I would. The owners are very nice and personable to all guests. The service is always quick. The food always come out HOT and with FLAVOR. Wait time for the food is always short. Would recommend to anyone. I have invited friends for both lunch and dinner here who are not familiar with traditional Thai dishes and they all found something they enjoy on the menu. Thanks Thai Noodles! -Andy
Delicious!!!!
Mediocre thia food
The Mango boba tea is delicious!
The best Thai food in Louisville! Their lemongrass and coconut soups never disappoint. The drunken noodles are also fantastic. The quality of food has been consistently delicious for years.
The owner added more to the tip. Disputed with the bank. They gave me the exact amount back. Never again!
Don’t judge the outside. Very clean and good and staff were wonderful.
Service: FAST
Price: REASONABLE
Selection: GOOD
Portions: JUST RIGHT
Taste: AMAZING
I ordered green curry with max spice and received a pleasantly painful experiece. Adding this place to my rotation.
Not the best Thai in Louisville as I have been told, at least not the Red Curry. Still, the food was ok in the sense that I ate it all, despite being a bit pricey for the establishment (although I am in an overpriced city). Will try again, albeit something different…
Good Thai cuisine
Food is good and flavorful, but portions are small and pricey. There is no lunch section on the menu (no complementary soup or eggroll), everything as priced.
I've added mushrooms and eggplant (+3.00), so lunch was $20+ If you want a lemon/lime with your ice water, bring your own, they don't serve any citrus on the drink.
Overall, for that price, there are better options in the area.
Service was great. The restaurant was clean. Bathrooms are clean. The food was Not very good Won’t be going back.
I asked for lemon w my water- "we don't have lemons..." Images of dishes had lemons. I really didn't feel valued as a customer. Was there contempt prior to investigation?
A very pleasant surprise. Great food amd service
Love coming here for boba!
So GOOD. I haven’t had a dish that I hated. 5 stars for awesome service.
I drove almost 30 minutes to take my dinner. On website they say they are pad thai but they are chinese.. I placed 2 orders of drunken noodles . Noodles were smelling foul oil... Worst ever noodles. Red curry nd panagang curry were way too sweet and rubber chicken . I would recommend never go to this place guts you will end up wasting your hard earned money like I did
Other than the price getting a little out of hand lately, this place is always great
First time here awesome taste good quality food the owner is very friendly definitely be back.
Great Panang Curry and cashew nut stir fry
Fast service, friendly, clean and most importantly delicious food. Highly recommend!
This place is a little gem! Small building that doesn't stand out. Food is fantastic. Not a place you'd likely stop without reading reviews or getting it recommended...but don't miss out!

The best crab Rangoon I've ever had!
Food was piping hot and delicious!!
You won’t regret it.
First time there, on business, with 5 others. Everyone loved their lunches, including me. The Spicy dishes were hot enough for the guys who really liked it hot, and my mild dish was tame and very flavorful. Good to see that both tastes were masterfully accommodated - this is a rare thing!
Love this place. I've never had anything bad from here.
Worth the drive for well priced, flavorful Thai food.
Great lunch spot. Food is delish!
Best Thai restaurant in Louisville! Consistently good! I've been coming here for about 10 years. I've visited several other Thai restaurants in the area, but none comes close to this. I live on the East side now, and an hour round trip is worth it for the BEST!
Yummy
Pad thai was clearly made with love here. Crab ragoon was delicious. Everything tasted freshly made. Atmosphere was very calm and relaxed. Prices were reasonable. Service was great.
Love this place. Would recommend 👍🏽
The sampler is totally worth it!
It was my first time visiting Thai Noodles and I was very pleased. My coworker and I stopped in for a quick lunch. We split an order of spring rolls, I got the Pad Kee Mao and she got the Pas Si-Eew. We both enjoyed our meals at a spice level 2. I think I definitely could have gone up to at least a 3. I personally love spice. I finished lunch off with an iced Thai coffee. Everything was great, I will be back!
Decent Thai food and not bad service. I'd go again.
Fantastic food, great family owned business! Best Thai around not to mention the Thai Iced tea and Boba!
The food here is incredible! Loved it! 10/10 would recommend
Their food is very good! And the servings are very generous. Service is fast and friendly too!
I loved everything here especially the thai fried rice spicy 4. I also loved all the Boba tea.
My boyfriend and I have ordered dinner from here a few times. It’s is by far the best Thai food we have had. My boyfriend is a professional chef and raves about how great the flavors are every time we order.
Probably the best Thai restaurant in the city! Between my husband and I, we've tried almost every dish and there hasn't been one thing I didn't like. It has lots of vegetarian options and I love the friendliest staff! I will say that it's more crowded during the lunch hours, but during dinner it is cozy and romantic. I highly recommend everyone check this place out!
Almost all of our takeout budget each month goes to Thai Noodles Restaurant. Sometimes all of it.
Food was delicious, I found it a bit pricey. I spent $63 for 2 people, it said serves 4, but not really. It was worth it. Will def be back again my husband loved it.
Very tasty. Had a few different things on their menu than other Thai places, plus all the staples. We would definitely go again if we are on that side of town
I used to work at Yang Kee Noodle, then 2/3 of the locations closed, and suddenly I couldn't find a good pad thai anywhere.
Then I found Thai Noodles, and their pad thai is AMAZING. All the food is great, staff is great, and everything is clean - this was like the only takeout I had for like the first year of the pandemic. Great place.
Give it a chance, you won't be disappointed. Also, try the fried tofu. 😍😍😍
I was lucky enough to get my order in before they closed and it was worth everything as always. Best Pad Thai in town. Savory, sweet, spicy (if wanted), perfect level of sour. Best combination of flavors I’ve had in a long time and plenty in the serving you pay for. Thanks Thai Noodles!
Food good, staff always rude and not friendly at all
Background. We're familiar with Thai dishes and have been to many Thai restaurants.
Thai Noodles have been highly suggested by another Thai restaurant owner so we decided to check it out.
To start, we ordered Chicken Satay ($7 for 4 skewers). Though we enjoyed the peanut sauce and the cucumber relish, the chicken (breast) was a bit dry and lacked the flavor. I think dark meat would've made it more juicy and tasteful.
Next, the Chicken Ginger Rice Soup ($8 for large) caught our attention. My wife loved the clear gingerly savory broth soaking over chicken and rice. We'd order Tom Yum or Tom Kha though for a more "punch."
For the main course, we ordered Cashew Nut Beef ($13). We thought it was OK. We had to add some more sauce to bring up the flavors.
To drink, we slurped on Mango Tea with Popping Boba ($4.85) and it was refreshing... maybe a bit too sweet. Melted ice toned it down just right.
There was nothing leftover as we ate everything not because it was mind blowing... but because there wasn't a whole lot.
We'd definitely try again once the dine-in resumes and order more authentic Thai dishes.
Friendly, fast, and delish!
Good food and service!
Delicious!
Pineapple curry was amazing! Quick service through the drive through at the window.
Have been craving Thai and wanted to try this place. I ordered chicken pad Thai and asked for it to be very spicy, also got dumplings. The pad Thai did not even have a hint of spice to it at all. Overall the Thai was just ok, it could use extra seasoning and a whole lot more spice. The dumplings were pretty good
Great food. A little confusing due to COVID-19 and the inside being closed. But after reading the posted signs I found you just call to place an order and swing by the pickup window in 10-15 minutes and food is ready to go. Very good basil fried rice and Pad Thai. Spicy level was on point, recommend giving them a try. Almost looked closed/abandoned so hopefully they can open the dining area soon.
Tofu pad thai was super yummy, large portions and a good price. Definitely coming back!
Quality of the food has went downhill .
First time here and it was amazing food! My wife and I were looking for a Thai restaurant here since we moved from Lexington. I had the Pad Ba Mee and my wife had the Pad Thai. Wonderful flavors that hit all the taste buds! I also had the Red Curry and it had the perfect amount of heat!
This is our new Thai home!
Spent years driving by this place. First time going. Large variety to choose from for all taste palates. I was hungry and couldn't decide on just one dish. So I ordered 3. It was all delicious. Reasonably priced. Quick service. Can't wait to go back.
Dont get me wrong food was great but building is dated. Nothing against these ppl but all I'm saying is maybe new location or rebuild. Again nothing against the food for it was great.
The spicy noodle soup is to die for. My dad and I used to come here for it multiple times a week. Unfortunately we moved out of state, nothing compares to Thai noodle! I crave this soup with every fiber in my body. If I’m every in Kentucky I will make a stop for this soup!
This place is single the best restaurant in Louisville. I have never had a bad experience. I would eat here every day if I could. I used to eat here two times a day sometimes and three times a week. It is this good. The pineapple fried rice. Basil fried rice, cashew nut in brown sauce, drunken noodles, pad Thai... It's all amazing.
ALWAYS delicious and the service is great!
Tried this place for the first time because I was craving pad si ew, definitely was worth it. The guy working the window was super nice and patient with me as I tried calling and got voice-mail (didnt know if this was normal to order so I didn't leave a voicemail) and ordered at the window. The food only took a few minutes and it is amazing. The noodle to beef to veggie ratio is satisfying and the beef was incredibly tender. Everything was amazing.
La mejor comida Tailandesa de la ciudad y un trato y servicio de calidad 👌 lo recomiendo al 100 %
Good food
This Place is Amazing, i Love There Food So much.
I've had Simply Thai on several occasions but I have to say Thai Noodles is just as good if not better!?! We had the Sukiyaki, got it stir fried and tried the Basil fried rice with chicken. Both were absolutely delicious and the portions were huge. Definitely be going back.
Excellent food, great portions, and the friendliest service. I'm stuck on the chicken pad thai and the pineapple fried rice with chicken.
definitely the best thai place in louisville. i probably order their tofu and curry 2-3 times a month and it’s always so good. staff is super friendly, too.
Really great food love it.
Wonderful place
Always excellent! Always courteous! Great dumplings. LOVE their Pineapple Curry! Can't stay away from this place for too long!
Great food, try the ice tea if you like sweet chai. 2 is spicy. 5 must be for fire lovers!
Favorite Thai restaurant in Louisville.
Most people from J-town and east will tell you Simply Thai has the best Thai food in town, and they are flat wrong. Thai Noodles is the best Thai place in Louisville. Thai Noodles makes delicious curry (such good panang curry), great pad thai, my husband's favorite drunken noodles ever, and their thai ice tea is in the beautiful narrow lane of sweet but not too sweet.
AND, they are Super Fast to get your food ready if you order through Door Dash.
Cannot recommend highly enough. So good.
Great food, friendly fast service, reasonable prices. One of my favorite lunch spots.
Food is wonderful!!
Loved their pad kee mao with chicken! Level 3 spicy was great! Also liked how they had a drive thru for pick-up!
My favorite thai restaurant. The food is delicious, service is always friendly and efficient. It is a small family run place with the best Thai food in town. It does not have the ambiance of “the other Thai restaurant” but if you want the best tasting Thai food, this is the place to go.
Very good. I had spicy noodle soup with shrimp. My husband had a stir fry with shrimp and chicken. We will be back!
Always the best Pad Thai. Been there dozens of times over several years and consistently markedly better than any other Pad Thai around.
this place is closed down until April 27th, their site does not reflect this, the information is only available on their Facebook, orders are still able to be submitted through Postmates, but orders cannot be fulfilled.
Will update review upon reopening :)
Tried today for first time. Ordered food to go. Only complaint was the crab rangoon appetizer consisted of two tiny pieces. The appetizer combo for two was excellent, as were the Red Curry and Pad Kee Mao. Wait time was very short and food was still hot when I got home.
Good Thai food and good atmosphere. When I went there seemed to be only a few servers during lunch rush but they made it work somehow. The food we all ordered was good, though the Pad Thai is a little too oily, and honestly the highest spice level could be turned up a few notches.
Give it a try if you’re craving some Thai!
Delicious!! Especially love the fresh rolls
I drive 60 miles to try their Chicken Wings Fried Rice. It’s so good. Excellent customer service. Friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend them, specially the Fried Rice with Chicken Wings. This is the only Thai place I found who have this on their menu.
Great as always a
What a great place to eat ,the food was wonderful and the staff was great wil definitely be eating their soon .
Thai tea was awesome. Got the drunken noodles, I got hot, wasn't spicy but it was still really good
Excellent service, portions a little on the small side, but very flavorful.
The food is great and super tasty! I had de Pad Thai and it was delicious
I can't vouch for the entire menu here because I always get the spicy noodle soup. It's the best, especially during the winter. Eat some!
Excellent Thai food at very reasonable prices.
Friendly service and fast.
Loved the cup of soup brought our as soon as I sat down.
Amazing curry and tofu. Friendly staff, as well.
The food was great but service was not friendly. There was no place to sit so I told waitress I would get to go. Placed my order with gentleman up front. Then waitress said she had a seat for me I told the man I would just eat here since she had a table and he shook his head no and got upset so I just said I'd wait for my order to go. Ate my order in car.
