The food was ok, but inconsistent. For example we ordered spring rolls as an appetizer. We got 2 of them and one of them contained pork and one of them had no meat in it at all. My food had a bunch of vegetables in it that wasn't listed on the menu. The chicken curry that someone else ordered has nothing but chicken and curry sauce and no vegetables in it at all. We think that maybe his vegetables may have accidentally gotten added to my food and then there was no attempt to fix this from the kitchen.

The food was the best part. The service was non-existent. We would have had better luck being self serve. Guy was sitting at the counter on his phone the whole time, ignoring raised hands and the occasional polite "excuse me" and the only way to get his attention for anything was to go up to the counter and wait for him to take his ear buds out.

Also it was very hot in the restaurant. I'm not sure it has a working A/C. There is a single tiny rotating fan on the other side of the restaurant that does nothing to cool the room off. Also the tables weren't wiped off so there was salt and/or pepper on a lot of them.

Food was great and service was fine. Clean inside. Lots of weeds out front looks unprofessional. Would go again.

Understated Thai food perfection.

A plain interior for the restaurant restaurant. I ordered basil chicken, one of my favorite Thai dishes, over the phone and was not asked for a spice level. I admit I forgot to say medium. I don't think it would matter because the chicken and rice had ZERO flavor. They were cooked properly, but completely BLAND. Gross.

Their hours are crazy inconsistent - how can a restaurant close at 7:30pm - the primetime for dinner? I went to meet a friend for lunch on Friday. Arrived at 12:15. Sign on the door said they were open 10:30 - 2 for lunch, but the door was locked & it was dark inside. 🙁 Disappointing... Went to Planet Thai instead, which was great.

Its a little place with weird hours but it is the best in this town that I have experienced. I prefer carry out because it is like a family thanksgiving kind of seating. There are separate tables and it is great to eat in there but I prefer to take the that awesome cuisine to go. Hands down it is the best. Tell you what. Order the chicken fried rice. A basic dish that you didnt realize you never have had it properly. People are so nice. Recommend this over anything in this state as far as south eastern cuisine. The best in its class. Tell me it is not and you would be lying. The only complaint is that they use the cheap soy sauce packets which was a surprise. But that is nothing compared to the quality ingredients. Would a place that is only open a few hours a day need to prove anything? Best spring rolls, best everything. At least try it. The only thing I ever regretted was not ordering more.

Food is Ok, I have another location I like better, but I did like what I ordered. The dinning room is small, so it gets crowed fast, I would eat here again if I was nearby and wanted Thai food.

The appetizers and the Pad Thai were excellent. My dining companion says this is his favorite place in Lexington to get Pad Thai. I had the Pad See Ew (often recommended by my sister), but it didn't have most of the veggies in it that were listed in the menu description (broccoli; sweet peppers). On past visits I have always ordered one of the curry entrées, and I have been happy with those.

Very sad. This place used to be amazing. The prices gave become totally ridiculous. The portions are very small, and its just not as fresh as it used to be. This is $55 worth of food that might have cost $5 to make. Besides the other complaints of the hours, there is no menu viewable online, there is no Facebook page as advertised and they generally make it very difficult.

The food is incredible. But they change their hours constantly and never update Google. Been trying to go for two years to go and literally they are never open. Ever. So disappointing. Don’t drive there because they are probably closed.

Some of the best Pad See Ew I’ve ever eaten. The noodles and flavor were perfect. I highly, highly recommend Mai Thai. Only downside was that the portions were a little small, but I probably only cared because it was so good.

The service was quick and my server was very friendly. I couldn’t decide what to try and so I took her suggestion and it was a wonderful meal. It was also the hottest “Thai hot” food I’ve had yet. I would definitely eat here again if I should make it back to Lexington.

Beware of friendly attitude til you get the bill. I asked for cabbage instead of bean sprouts in my Pad Thai. Server said 50 cents extra which is crazy since how cheap cabbage is. I agreed to pay the extra and when I got the bill the cabbage was 1.50 extra and on top of that they charged an extra 5 percent for using debit card. I told them they need to state on the door when you arrive that there is a 5 percent up charge for that. Should have walked out and let them eat my pad thai. I was hungry but will never return. I do not care how hungry I am. The best part is they really did not seem to care. There attitude was take it or leave it. Next time there will not be a next time.
