Had an AWESOME quick lunch at Banana Leaf Asian Bistro in West Glen. Food arrived fast and fresh, and very tasty. I wish it had been spicier, we ordered some spice, but a little side of Thai chili added did the trick.

Beef Drunken Noodle: perfectly cooked, not soggy at all. Beef was very VERY tender, which I don’t find as often in Thai restaurants. Flavor was spot on, serving plentiful.

Pork Fried Rice: again, super flavorful, and pork was tender.

Shrimp Thai Noodle Soup: with rice noodles and shrimp was awesome. Great flavors and perfect size for lunch.

We were in and out within 30 minutes. Service was attentive and kind. I tend to forget about this place but need to keep it on my radar!

More space inside than it looks from the outside. Menu is very extensive with a wide variety. Excellent sushi options. Went with server recommendation for the Basil Fried Rice with Chicken. Delicious. Looks like fair-priced lunch menu specials, so will need to come back. Friendly staff and great service.

I was really disappointed with my Drunken Noodles from Banana Leaf. I found A CUT RUBBER BAND in my dish, which is both unacceptable and concerning for food safety!! The flavors were decent, but this major oversight ruined my experience. I hope they address this issue.

Normally, I stick to one restaurant that has the Thai Fried Rice that suits my palate but I was up to try some thing different. The Soup of the Day (Egg Drop), and my entree of Chicken Fried Rice was okay - the rice was somewhat mushy and not as fresh as I like it. The Egg Drop Soup was mediocre at best.

Wasted over $50!!! The Curry Fried Rice was tasteless and mushy!!!! The Pad See Ew was dry with barely any sauce!!!! I mean, look at the photos! The lack of color on those two dishes says it all!!! And when I called, the person who answered was very dismissive! She just casually said that there was nothing she could do because the order was through DoorDash and I need to reach out to them and hung up! Here’s a tip!! If you guys actually cooked with care and flavor, the call wouldn’t happen in the first place! DISGUSTING!! Wasted my damn money!!! I will NEVER order from this place as long as I live here!! HORRIBLE FOOD!!! And even worst service!!! I never leave a review, but I had to this time!!! This was just disgusting!!! It all went in the trash!

Prices or ok for some items. I would recommend staying away from that Calamari, portion has shrink and taste is not what it used to be. Overall I rate this restaurant as ok instead of excellent like I had in the past. Presentation is good

This is the restaurant closest to our house and it is also my favorite restaurant, because the food here is so delicious. There are many types of noodles,curries, salads and soups available here. My daughter loves red curry here, it is so yummy. You should try curries if you get a chance to come here, because meats are very soft and we love the spices here. Whenever I come here I never forget to order Japanese clear soup and Thai noodle soups are my favorite. The food served to us is kept warm and decorated and, waitresses here welcome the customers with good hospitality. Our family loved rice+coconut pudding here, but recently they stopped this desert, but we dont forget to remember them every time 😁 finally the place is very clean and neat. We have the parking lot near the restaurant.

Went out with a friend of ours and she wanted us to try Banana Leaf Asian Bistro. I was disappointed with my dish, I ordered Pineapple fried rice and it had two pieces of shrimp and absolutely no chicken. Our waitress was not very attentive. I am open to coming back in the future but we did not have a great first impression. The Thai iced coffee and appetizer (fried spring rolls) was good, and atmosphere is beautiful.

Love this place. I have only gone during lunch hours and everything I have had is really good. The Panang Curry is the perfect blend of a standard red curry and a peanut sauce blend. I have had some terrible curries around town where they don't cook the vegetables at all or use way too much milk but you won't find that here. The noodle dishes have great sauces mixed in and every protein I have had has been tender and flavorful. Too many other places have incredibly dry, flavorless chicken and beef. The fried tofu is a perfect texture if you want a meatless option. If you are a big fan of spice, always go with a 5 on their scale. Nothing has ever been too spicy at their highest level but I have a pretty good tolerance. In my opinion, they base their spice level off the dish itself and not just a flat rating. Basically, if a non spicy dish is a 5, it won't be as spicy as a dish that is supposed to be spicy as a 5. Service is always quick and friendly. Prices seem to be unbeatable as well. Only Thai food that I have had this good usually costs 50% more per plate. Only downside is the music, not sure how many times I can listen to a live Maroon 5 album 🤣

Great food always. Love their egg drop soup! The last few times I’ve been there the air conditioning wasn’t working very well which can be interesting when eating the spicy food!

My first time here, I had Panang Curry with tofu..WONDERFUL! I Alsi ordered Thai Basil Fried rice, not strong on flavor and a little mushy. Service and atmosphere great. Maybe amp up the fried rice. I would eat the Panang curry daily

First time trying this place. I ordered Pad Thai and Papaya Salad. I ordered both at the highest spice but there was no spice whatsoever to the dishes. The Pad Thai was decent could use more flavor but overall was edible. The papaya salad on the other hand would not recommend. I someone who loves papaya salad I was really hyped for this dish since there isn't a lot of places that actually sells good papaya salad but the Pad Thai was good so I looked forward to the papaya salad as well. The dish itself was very bland and tasted horrible so I was quiet upset and ended up throwing it away.

Delicious food with lots of choice for dietary restrictions. Spice level and meat type choices give lots of variety to choose from also. Soup and curry are my favorites so far.

Thought we'd try a new place for sushi for a birthday dinner. Banana Leaf was excellent! They have more unique rolls than other sushi places and we enjoyed everything we ordered. Most definitely will be back!!

My friends and I have been on a quest for best Thai with a great atmosphere--this place ranked high. The green curry was some of the best I've had. Others raved about the pad thai and soups. Definitely worth a stop!

Came here the other day and the food was amazing. They have hands down the best pad thai in town! My friend got the Pad See EW with white rice and the chicken that came with it was amazingly crunchy and saucy. I ordered the drunken noodle and they forgot my beef with it initially until I mentioned it and it got sorted out. Would 10/10 recommend this place.

Loved our dinner. Had three sushi rolls, spider, volcano, and captain crunch, very well done. Also ordered the curry chicken, which was one of the best we have eaten, as well as the orange chicken. Quick service and dun decor. Walked in without reservations for 4. Were told 45 minutes and were seated in 10.

Used to really love this place but I've had a poor experience the past two times I've placed to go orders. The first time I was given chicken instead of tofu for my curry dish. This time we were missing a rice container and the one we did receive was only half full with rice so we had to make rice at home. Very disappointing.

I ordered ginger duck. The meat was beef. No ginger just teriyaki. I vomited the cucumber avocado rice rolls. The garlic pepper fried chicken was disgusting. I can do better in my kitchen. Please just close down your business now and save other people from making the same mistake as I have (visiting your establishment).

The wait staff is friendly and prompt with service. For the food, as i find most asian food, i found the meals very mushy and not very flavorful but I did enjoy the crab rangoons.

We got red curry with chicken and drunken noodles with beef. Both dishes were lacking flavor and the meat in both dishes looked questionable. We will pass on coming back.

Didn't get pictures, be we had Yokisoba with roast duck and red curry with roast duck. Both were delicious! Service was great.

Ordered via door dash, although the delivery was quick and my food did come hot I was terribly disappointed with the flavor of my pad see ew - it was very bland. I barely ate my meal and suffered through the equally disappointing egg rolls - the wrapping was great, the temp was excellent but there was barely anything inside of the egg roll - it was mostly rolled up wrapper. I’ve ordered door dash from Cool Basil and their food was much more flavorful.

I was impressed with their menu. It was actually a binder, there were so many options. Staff were kind and attentive. The restaurant was clean-lots of wood and plants.

Banana leaf is consistently great with their food. You always know you'll get a great tasting quality product.

I absolutely loved the mango sticky rice and TST roll!!! Wasn’t as big of a fan of the spring rolls or salad but I’ll definitely be ordering again.

Very good. I had Green Curry with Chicken and my wife had a pineapple fried rice dish with chicken. Both were very good. Green curry was excellent. Tried green curry in Milwaukee...it was horrible. I'm so glad to find this place.

Very good rolls, I would go back just for those! Yakisoba was not great, chicken didn't right, and the sauce really didn't have much flavor. Customer service was great and quick service.

Pad thai too sweet and goopy. Spring roll was offered fried or fresh, so we made the mistake of the latter which meant we had to chew through a very thick wrapper. But, a nice room and very pleasant wait person.

Banana Leaf is the best! As someone who is celiac, I have never had an issue here and their menu is clearly marked with GF options. I love having lunch or dinner with friends and family here, everyone loves the food and the atmosphere is wonderful. Take-out is always super fast too. Awesome Thai tea as well.

Exceptional Asian bistro. The staff are friendly & helpful. The food is delicious & reasonably priced, especially for the amount they give you! Plenty of gluten & dairy free options for my friend who has allergies. For a small restaurant it has a "big" feel with sky high ceilings. The decor gives it an "outdoor" feel, like walking a street & being seated on a patio. Highly recommend!

I'm from Texas and this was my second time coming here, it really is delicious! Although, i got the 10 pc tuna and salmon sushi sampler and I requested it with rice, as is a normal requst, and they gave me a plate of sticky rice and the waitress told me the cheif said i could roll it in my hands and put them together... not exactly the response i thought id receive. This is my mom's 4th or 5th time coming and she comes for the thai soup! When we're in Texas she talks about it every time we get Asian cuisine. So, amazing food, but a little to be desired on experience.

I was a regular customer here. Typically order to-go. However today I changed my mind and asked if it was OK to dine in and have them transfer the ticket to the server or I could pay upfront whatever worked better for them. The manager there came up and told me that I could get my food but I had to leave immediately. I could not sit down to eat my food. That was very humiliating because I paid for my food and they didn't even give me the option to have my bill transfered over to the server which would have gotten a nice tip from me ! Loss opportunity for them. I will never eat here again. Customer service was awful!

Everything was delicious. We got crab rangoons, moo goo gai pan, pineapple fried rice, California rolls, spider rolls and mango sticky rice. Food came quickly, and service was attentive. All in all, great dinner experience.

Placed a phone order and it never got entered so we showed up and no food ready

We stopped in after some shopping. It was the last hour before closing but you could taste that they still put a lot of love into the food. Everything we ordered was prepared quickly so we were able to eat and leave in a timely manner. Their Tom Kha Gai is probably the best I've had in a restaurant. It honestly tasted like it came from my mom's kitchen. So glad that we stumbled in here!

Very disappointed. Called an hour in advance since we were on a road trip and needed a break from fast food. Server told us food would be ready in an hour. We did not receive our food on time and had to wait an additional 30 minutes because the food wasn’t ready when we got there an hour later. Pad Thai did not have tamarind sauce or fish at all. Can’t call it pad Thai if you are missing the main ingredients for the dish. Not of the Thai dishes were well flavored.

I do give credit that the sushi was good.

We've been here a few times and have had great food every time. I've tried something new each time and it's always steaming hot and served in large portions. The sake is great, and the sticky rice with Mango is delicious. Staff have always been friendly and good at checking in on us.

I came and ordered online. I came to pick up my order and when I went to the front check out I was wanting to add to my order. The employee checking me out mid order the phone rang. She took the call stepped away and took the call and completely ignored me. I felt like I didn’t matter. She did not say wait just a moment she took the call. I ordered online at 5:00 waited for 39 min to get my original order.

I L❤VED the atmosphere in the evening. Our server was super sweet, the calamari was delicious, and the shrimp was pretty big! All in all, a very good first time at Banana Leaf!☺️

Pananag Curry - Rating 2/5 - Was a thin soup consistency... SOOO much coconut milk that's almost all you could taste. Seems they're trying to cheap out by stretching the food. Chicken and veg were good texture. Portion was large for the curry, but not enough rice.

Pineapple Fried Rice - Rating 4/5 - Tasted good, but portion was very small. Not seasoned well enough.

Schezuan Beef - Rating 1/5 - Beef texture was atrocious. Couldn't eat it. Schezuan sauce tasted like nothing I've had before, and not in a good way. Sauce was water consistency. I threw it out.

Ordered online, tum yum fried rice, they then called to tell me they didn’t have it, I then asked to replace it with the pineapple fried rice they agreed, but when our food got here my pineapple fried rice was nowhere to be found

This place was very good not the largest selection of chef special rolls but the roles I got were good. One was raw and the other was fried.
