Great place for lunch! I brought a child I was babysitting here knowing she loved pad thai. The owner had her daughters along with no school for the day and allowed the child to join with their coloring and made the food exactly as ordered. She was so friendly!

I now know that the Solon Thai Spice is an expansion. Tonight I made a mistake and ordered from the Iowa City restaurant. When I arrived to pick up my order in Solon the staff made it clear it was no big deal and to just call the other restaurant and let them know. I did just that and a very nice young lady forwarded me to a “manager” who was not nice at all. Here in Solon the staff overheard the conversation and was very apologetic. Great place I assume in both places just a bad night for that manager.

Phenomenal Thai food. Owner gave us a free order of crab rangoon and extra rice just because (she didn't know us). She just got herself lifetime customers with great service and food.

Dry Dry Dry. Not good. Curry chicken and rice, not good. Pad Thai, not good. Asked for white meat chicken and still got dark meat. Tried it once, will not return. They get two starts because the food was ready on time.

Great food at convenient location for people in this area. They are a takeout place primarily, have some indoor seating and plastic ware. The emphasis is on take away meals. One of our favorite places. We love the number five Pad See-iew with Tofu. All the food is good, looking forward to exploring the menu.

Absolutely LOVE this place! It it pricey, but I'm ok with that because the food is amazing and it's absolutely worth it. We always call our order ahead, and it's always ready on time and they have never messed up anything in our order ever.

We came in from Lisbon and were excited to try a new Thai restaurant. When we walked in, the gal at the counter was on the phone so it made sense that we weren't greeted. When she hung up the phone, she didn't even look up at us. It was like we weren't even there. My husband got up and grabbed menus off the counter, she looked up at him and still said nothing. After looking over the menu and seeing other recent reviews, we decided to go next door to Frida's instead.

We like Thai food and we were excited to see Thai Spice in Solon. After a day of yard work, we decided to give it a try. First, we are in our 70s. Sitting on benches is not comfortable. Second, we ordered egg rolls for an appetizer, and they were cold in the middle. For rhe price of the meal, we did not expect paper plates and plastic forks. Portions were large, but lacked flavor,, especially the chicken which was dry and processed. There were no sauces on the table such as sweet chili sauce or soy sauce which would have helped. My husband ordered his as spicy as he could but said it wasn't that spicy I
hate writing a negative review, but I doubt we'll be back.
