I’ve been Eating here since they 1st opened & no one really knew who they were.

Happy the business has garnered success & everyone drives far & wide to enjoy.

HOWEVER: the STAFF is so VERY RUDE, Unkind, they treat people like it’s a bother. The Front Order Taker Gal is the WORSE, every single time we go she’s so cold, makes the experience uncomfortable after dropping over $100. We are not going back

Diner Review №2

I tried this restaurant on my first night in Des Moines & it was an amazing start. The food was so good & it was so well-decorated.

Diner Review №3

Good food!

Diner Review №4

Good food but horrible service. It almost seems like the employees try to ruin their customers' dinning experiences.

Did dine in at 5:30-5:45 pm on a Wednesday evening. Placed our order right away then waited for nearly an hour for our food. While waiting for our order, placed a to-go order for family at home and waited for nearly another hour (30 minutes after I had finished my dine in order)for that to come out. The servers were very nice and obviously stressed about the delay in serving times.
The food tasted good and was a decent amount for the price. Might try again for lunch during the week to see about serving time issues.

Lucky Lotus is a fantastic local business with good food, friendly and kind staff, and a great ambiance. I usually get takeout and my order is always right, and when I eat in I am satisfied too. They have seasonal menu changes which make being a regular very fun. I am always telling other people about this place and recommend it to anyone!

Fast, busy, good service

Diner Review №15

Drunken noodles were super good!

Diner Review №16

So good, food was good and had a laughing Buddha beer that was smooth

Diner Review №18

One of my favorite restaurants in the Des Moines area. Wonderful food, atmosphere and efficient, friendly service. I visit at least once a month. Highly recommend their after-school fried rice!

Diner Review №19

Diner Review №20

Loveeeeee this place for pad Thai! So yummy - a favorite in Des Moines for sure! The Thai tea was good the lemonade was extraordinary!! Love it!

Diner Review №21

I live in NYC and this is hands down my favorite Thai spot — possibly ever. So delicious and the service is always on point. Highly recommend the Thai Tea and drunken noodles. DELISH. Tip: level 1 is pretty spicy and level 2 made my eyes water. Approach the spice levels with caution. 🤣💗

Diner Review №22

Lucky Lotus—we love you! Thank you for always being kind and always having delicious vegan options! You are the best.

Diner Review №23

Diner Review №24

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! We came here to take engagement photos and eat some delicious Asian food. We didn’t realize they were about to close, but the staff and owners were so nice and were more than happy to let us stay and do our thing. Shout out Olivia for being so sweet and the best server! The vibes were immaculate, the service incredible, and the food delicious. 11/10. 🫶🏼

Diner Review №25

We came in yesterday unknowingly probably 5 minutes before they closed to eat and also to take some retro style engagement photos. Despite our mix up, Olivia and the rest of the staff were SO friendly and helpful, and the food was absolutely delicious, too! We’re not from Des Moines but when we come back to visit, Lucky Lotus will be on our must-stop list!

Diner Review №26

Nice little restaurant and food that was good for the most part if you aren't a meat eater. I have eaten Pho all over the world and did not get it here. Tofu or chicken is your options no extra protein choices what so ever. I was forced to pick something, so I got the Drunken Noodles, and my wife got the Pad Thai. The spice was on point, and the dish was good but truly came to try the Pho. We won't be going back to try any other dishes anytime soon

Diner Review №27

Tried for the first time. I got Drunken Noodle w shrimp, and my partner got School Fried Rice w/sausage. Both were fantastic and very flavorful. New on my favorites list, been missing out if you haven't.

Diner Review №28

Diner Review №29

One of the best restaurants in Des Moines! So many delicious vegan options. The currylicious Bing Bing wrap is a 10/10, plus they have fries you can add on with delicious seasoning. The crunchy rice rolls are so flavorful and fresh. Seasonal curries are always comforting and a great portion for the price. I appreciate that they have 3 vegan protein options as well!

Diner Review №30

We were not impressed with this restaurant. It was not very good, and the food lacked flavor. Also, the noodles in the Pad Thai were hard, and very sticky! I've been cooking Thai & Lao food for many years, and my palate knows good Thai/Lao food. This wasn't it. We won't be going back, ever.

Diner Review №33

Great food. Everything we had was really good and fresh. Great service, very friendly. Reasonable prices.

Diner Review №34

Diner Review №35

This is a really good place for good asian food. We love the Crab Rangonies. My only complaint is food could be hotter (not meaning the spice).

Diner Review №36

Diner Review №37

This is my favorite restaurant in Iowa! I love when we choose to come here. The soy sauce noodles are great. I love all the decorations in this restaurant. It is very aesthetically appealing and cute. The seating fills up quick, so getting there before 5:30pm will get you the best shot at a seat. The food is still worth the wait or carry out, though, if sitting is a wait. They also have the best crab rangoons I’ve had.

Diner Review №38

Diner Review №39

The Drunken Noodles matched the hype. They were excellent. Noodles seemed homemade and knife cut with good spring and chew. Sauce had tons of flavor and umami. Plenty of Thai basil flavor. 1 star was perfectly spicy. Portion was plenty large. Price was good. Location was larger than expected and has indoor and outdoor seating. Parking is difficult. I look forward to going back!

Diner Review №40

I had an amazing experience at this place! I'm visiting in town for a week, and I've already ordered four times. The Bing Bing wraps are absolutely delicious—perfectly seasoned and packed with flavor. The atmosphere was vibrant and fun, making it a great spot to relax and enjoy a meal. To top it off, the service was incredibly friendly and attentive. Highly recommend this spot for a fantastic dining experience!

Diner Review №41

Delicious food and great service!

Diner Review №42

Diner Review №43

I always enjoy my meals here. The food is great, consistent and high quality. Would recommend!

Diner Review №44

Loved my food here, highly recommend the green Thai tea as it’s a little less sweet than the traditional

Diner Review №45

I’ve had a few dishes from here and they have all been so so good!! Love the decor inside and the service is always good. I recommend the singapore noodles or the pad lao. Be careful with the spice, i’m a weenie and get level 1 and it is plenty!

Diner Review №46

Absolutely amazing! Staff was very knowledgeable about vegan options (almost anything can be made vegan!) and very helpful. The food was wonderful and had super big portions. We HIGHLY recommend the crunchy rice wraps it was like putting heaven in your mouth, but everything was delicious! The restaurant is also super cute :)

Diner Review №47

Diner Review №48

Great atmosphere, authentic food, great prices; I took the recommendation to try the Laap chicken DIY lettuce wraps and was not disappointed! Be warned, I love spicy food and level 2 spicy was perfectly hot enough!

Diner Review №49

I stopped here during a road trip when I was passing through. I ordered the pad thai with tofu, spring rolls, and my boyfriend got curry. My boyfriend and I grossly overestimated our spice tolerance but the food was delicious. Two servers noticed that the spice was overwhelming and generously offered to remake our dishes or bring over extra rice to make the spiciness more bearable. Great food, but make sure to start at a low spice level even if you think you can do more!

Diner Review №50

This place was so good, I had to go twice during my overnight trip to Des Moines! It was phenomenal. The food was fresh, delicious, and I love the variety of vegetarian friendly options. You could eat anything on this menu and be happy! Be careful about the spice though- the level one was intense 🥵
The atmosphere was trendy and colorful. The service was friendly and courteous. I really enjoyed coming here both times and will have to come again someday! If you’re contemplating where to eat in Des Moines, give this place a try!! They are amazing.

Diner Review №51

It was a vibe. Just $7

Diner Review №52

One of the best Thai food!! The only thing to be aware of is their spice levels - even a 2 or 3 is very spicy. Their dessert was amazing too.

UwU kawaii!
Uber cute 😻 and delicious food that is hot and fresh and served well and go eat there! ☺️
I didn't get a picture cause I was hungy and only realized it after I stuffed my face like Chihiro's parents. Shame on me!

Diner Review №59

The tum yum noodle soup was a little spicy for my taste (and I love spicy) but great place to come.

Diner Review №60

This was the second time I visited and it was fantastic. I love decor of the restaurant and found it to be refreshing and thoughtful. Edward greeted us at the front and took our order also giving us great suggestions as well. We ordered the following:

Rangoonies
Egg Rolls
Thai Tea
Ice Coffee
Crispy Rice Wraps
Zen Noodle Salad
Tom Yum Noodle Soup

We also met the chef Anousith who was kind to let us take some portraits of him and his family.

This restaurant is a gem and I will definitely be coming back again. Support your local family owned restaurants. :)

Diner Review №61

Fresh food with great flavors. Always a treat to experience the love Lucky Lotus puts into their dishes.

Diner Review №62

Diner Review №63

The best meal I had in Des Moines! I really appreciate that they are vegan friendly and they also offer soy curls in addition to tofu for veg protein! The scallion pancake with soy curls and the tofu drunken noodles were absolutely incredible.

Diner Review №64

I was not impressed by the service. I’ve been wanting to try this place for a while and I was not impressed. I think the staff could have been more welcoming, there wasn’t any sort of personalities. I took my mom out for dinner and it felt very fast foodie kind of vibe. The food was tasty I’ll give it that but other than that I’d say there are better options out there.

Diner Review №65

Went there today for the first time at lunch. It was highly recommended to me and it didn't disappoint. I had the Pad Thai with chicken.

Diner Review №66

Diner Review №70

Absolutely great food, plenty of vegan options, and prompt service with very reasonable prices.

Diner Review №71

Diner Review №72

Loved the atmosphere, I got the street noodles with Tofu and it was delicious. The spring roll 👌 Plenty of vegan options

Diner Review №73

This will be another reason on why I love Lucky Lotus. I went and picked up some Beef Pad Thai. It unfortunately had no spice which is not normal for them. I went ahead and called to see if I could possibly get one re made. The were very apologetic and said they will remake one for me to come pick up. I have never had a bad experience with Lucky Lotus and will continue to support them not only for the food but service as well. If you haven't tried them you're missing out!!

Diner Review №74

Diner Review №75

Fun downtown vibe and good Asian food! Fish sauce on the tables is a plus! 😁🐠👍🏻 Only have chicken and tofu pho.

Diner Review №76

Placed a To Go today and was surprised that the restaurant was seated at capacity on Super Tuesday. Lucky lotus is the best Thai Food I’ve had in Des Moines since arriving a few months ago. Cute guy with blonde hair handed me my food and was very friendly - A+
Crab Rangoonies - were large and good. A nice amount of filling but with no imitation crab. Weird
Yellow Curry - Massuman - with Chicken & Mad spicy level. Very tasty with fresh veggies - onions carrots and potatoes. Nice flavor and perfect spice
Krapow | Basil - Chicken & Mad spice level was exceptional! Perfect spice with fresh veggies including peppers, onions, basil. This was the best dish and I wanted more!
I deducted a Star because the portion of the Krapow - Basil was extremely small.

Diner Review №77

Diner Review №78

The food is always warm and delicious. The heat and spice is delicious as well. Lucky Lotus is one of the crowned jewels Ingersoll has to offer Des Moines residents.

Diner Review №79

We ordered online and arrived early and the staff was so incredibly polite. They offered us water and a place to sit while we waited, and they gave us free matcha with coconut milk for being so patient. Our food was ready 15 minutes early and was absolutely phenomenal- we got orange chicken, a bao bun, and tom yum noodle soup. We absolutely recommend and will be returning!

The food was great. We went for dinner and had Curry puffs, Pad Thai and Yellow curry.
Everything was delicious and presented nicely.
Staff members were kind. They have wide range of Vegan/Vegetarian options in the menu.

Diner Review №86

Diner Review №87

I really liked this location on Ingersoll, food was good and came pretty quickly. The autumn rolls and egg rolls were really good, and the Basil Krapow was delicious and spicy, even at a level 3. I did order the same dish to take home as extra, and the portion size was noticeably smaller on the take home dish but overall a great experience and delicious food.

Diner Review №88

Diner Review №89

The food was amazing and the atmosphere super fun. We drove an hour to try it and will definitely be back to try out the other dish options!

Diner Review №90

Amazing food, great service, we'll be back! We moved from the West Coast and this is the best Asian food we've had in Iowa!

Diner Review №91

Previously a top choice, this restaurant has regrettably declined in service quality. Experiencing a 90-minute wait followed by an additional 45 minutes without food is unacceptable. While a complimentary beer was offered during the wait, it's evident there are significant operational issues, particularly in communication between the front of house and kitchen. Additionally, the imposition of a dining out fee is questionable and adds to the overall dissatisfaction.

Diner Review №92

Diner Review №93

Yummy food, as always!
...please turn up the heat. It was 35° out today, and the restaurant was freezing. I left with cold feet & fingers.

Diner Review №94

One of the top Asian cuisine places in the Des Moines area, and I say that very sparingly, as there are only about 4 or 5 on my list.

Diner Review №95

Diner Review №96

Really good food and servings big enough you can take some home for leftovers.

Diner Review №97

Amazing place for vegetarians and vegans I would recommend the coconut curry

Diner Review №98

Some of the best food I've ever had, cannot recommend enough!

Diner Review №99

Diner Review №100

Winter squash red curry was absolutely perfect. The balance of flavors especially stood out. And some excellent crispy sweet Brussels with rice crispies! If you’re in Des Moines you must go here.

Diner Review №101

I would have given 0 stars if it allowed me. Worst customer service. We ordered food and waited for close to one hour. When the food didn't come we were frustrated and cancelled the order. They were so rude when kept asking about it and no manners to even to apologize

Diner Review №102

Service and atmosphere were excellent, but the food was disappointing. I ordered the Tom Yum soup and it was clearly just an instant ramen pack with protein and vegetables added

Diner Review №103

The Pad Thai and Pad Si U (spelling?) are amazing!!!!! Pass on their red squash curry though:) it’s meh.

Diner Review №104

味道一般偏鹹 價格偏貴 炒飯等了快三十分鐘 整體評價 沒料

Diner Review №105

Phone not working plus now they charge $5.70 for the plastic items if ordering takeout. This is unreal

Diner Review №106

I didn’t have such a great experience this time. Horrible actually. Food was wayyy spicier than I requested. They didn’t acknowledge that our order has some kind of delay so they came off snobby. Took almost 30 minutes to get our dinner. Not sure I’ll be back.

Diner Review №107

Diner Review №108

Fast service. Delicious food. Spice is REAL. Yellow curry was great, chicken pad Thai was legit, felt the spice in my soul. Best part for me though was the Bing Bing Wrap with beef. The has gotta be the best Asian spot in Des Moines. Highly highly recommend.

Diner Review №115

Diner Review №116

So good. Wish I had taken photos. Amazing tofu/chicken spring rolls & noodles

Diner Review №117

I really like the food and the service is great. 😊

Diner Review №118

My favorite restaurant in DSM💖✨🩷

Diner Review №119

I'm a little disappointed , the Nam Khao platter is little sweet. The rainbow dream/ Nam Vanh dessert does not look like in the picture, the tapioca pearl is frozen cold like it was in fridge for overnight, not fresh. Also the girl in white shirt, must be the manager ? she mixed the Nam Vanh and brought to my table slam on the table. This is American, we are not on the small street in Laos or vietnam if you want to drink you have to self served, pump water from the filter faucet on the counter. We will never stop by again.

Diner Review №120

We’ll be back. Excellent stop

Diner Review №121

First, this is a really cute establishment with movie posters on the walls, fortune cats on the counter, and colorful umbrellas on the ceiling. Please note that it is very much a self-service place. Customers order at the counter, take a number, and seat themselves. My husband and I shared chicken pad thai and curry puffs. The curry puffs were our favorite! We were pleasantly surprised to find that they had a hint of ginger in them. The pad thai was pretty typical but a little on the spicy side. We got a 2 on spice level. We would eat here again!

Diner Review №122

Food is good but every time I order it’s wrong and I never get to experience fully. Past 3 times I’ve come order has been wrong. Not sure what’s going on here. Something’s changed from the good days 2 years ago. Chicken gross too. :(

Diner Review №123

The food was great and very affordable. The service was attentive. Loved the atmosphere.

Diner Review №124

The food kinda do be like that. Good flavor, good texture, good grog. Also, very busting. There's a budha in the entrance way. Leg, egg, greg and fleggy leg.

Diner Review №125

Diner Review №126

Good food. Spice level is real. Excellent spring rolls and peanut sauce. Easy to have a good vegan meal relatively cheap.

Spring rolls: 10/10
Peanut sauce: 11/10
Drunken noodles: 8/10

I enjoyed the noodles, but I don’t recommend adding any spicy to it. It’s probably plenty as is, and I shouldn’t have added.

Diner Review №127

Cutest space in town - love the decor. Food is always yummy :)

Diner Review №128

I used to really like Lucky Lotus. Lately, every time we come something gets messed up or forgotten.

Tonight, I waited 30 minutes while my family ate for my food. It never came. When I went to the register to ask for a refund, the person at the register was terribly rude, threw the food (in a to-go box) at me, and told me to leave. I’ve had enough of this place.

Diner Review №129

Diner Review №130

Diner Review №131

Delicious. This is one of the top 5 meals I’ve had in the entire state of Iowa and is absolutely worth a visit. We ordered a whole host of things while we were there, but the crispy rice rolls and krapow stood out in particular. Also, we’re eternally grateful that we’ve found a place in Des Moines that doesn’t mess around on spice and knows how to do it right. We will definitely be back and will be evangelizing to all of our spice enthusiast friends. :)

Diner Review №132

Awesome

Diner Review №133

This place is pretty damn good! The best item is the crispy rice wraps, amazing flavor and chicken is crispy. The drunken noodles were delicious too.
The only thing to watch out for is how spicy you want the food 🌶️ I said 0 or minimal spicy on a scale from 1-5 and the drunken noodles still came out pretty hot. A friend ordered spice level 2 and the noodles were on fire. Tongue was numb immediately after a few bites.
Overall the food was delicious and portions are decent! Just make sure you say 0 spicy if you can’t tolerate spicy foods.

Diner Review №134

Diner Review №135

I’ve never had a meal I haven’t loved here. The atmosphere is cute and fun and the employees are always nice! Plus their seasonal menu always has fun new things to try.

Diner Review №136

Don't go here if you want anything made to order ... they get pretty snippy if you want beef in your krapow instead of pork, or if you ask them to leave out the chili paste. They definitely don't put the customer first, it's more "like it or lump it" so we will be lumping it. Businesses, especially restaurants, must begin to put the customer first again if they want to be successful.

Diner Review №137

Diner Review №138

I ordered Crispy Rice Wraps last night. $10! Yum! You can order whatever level of heat you want. I don’t know how they make the rice crispy, but it is fabulous. A delightful crunch in every bite. My girlfriends and I got there at 5:20. By 5:45–on a Monday—the room was full with a line waiting to order. This is not a restaurant with full service at your table. You order at a window, select your drink, sit down at a table, and very shortly someone brings your food to you. They have tables outside on the sidewalk too. Fun, funky, Asian decor. I’ll be back. 🤩

Diner Review №139

Diner Review №140

One of my favorite restaurants in Des Moines - absolutely delicious food with tons of vegetarian and vegan options and a wonderful atmosphere! They change some of their menu seasonally, but my favorite item they consistently have is the bing bing wrap, although I also love their drunken noodles and sesame balls.

Diner Review №141

Diner Review №142

It is such a cute and affordable place to go. My mom and I weren't really hungry but we got an order of Spring Rolls and Waters each and it was under $20. It was sooo good and I literally crave their spring rolls.

Diner Review №143

The spring rolls were just what I needed on a hot day for a refreshing bite.

Diner Review №148

Diner Review №149

I ordered takeout at 725pm on their website and it said it would be ready the next day even though they were open till 8pm so I called and I was told I would get the order that night but they were Extremely rude and actually hang up on me when I was very professional and polite. Very disappointed as I live in the neighborhood and I want to support local businesses but after this interaction I will not be returning. I can’t believe they hung up on me for no reason

Food was good and a little different. You order first then go sit and dine in. Highly recommend the Kho Phoon.

Diner Review №155

Fast service, nice atmosphere. Authentic taste. Recommended!

Diner Review №156

Full of flavors! There are so many popping flavors here. I could enjoy every item on the menu! The palette does lean spicy but there are still some really good mild options. They run the gambit with savory curries, and sweet salads, and spicy noodles. For real, it is all good and it is the delicious punch of flavor that Southeast Asian cuisine is known for. The atmosphere is fun and full of color.

Diner Review №157

The best Laotian food I've ever had highly recommended

Diner Review №167

Diner Review №168

Really impressed with this spot! Their menu featured a lot of variety and the staff were vigilant. It's a great choice for dinner before a show at the Civic Center.

Diner Review №169

Me and my husband absolutely love this place! The food is very authentic. The staff is super nice and the service is quick too. Nam khao platter is soooo good. Highly recommend!

Amazing vegan options! And so yummy and fun! Highly recommend!

Diner Review №175

Thanks Lucky Lotus for a great lunch with my wife to celebrate my birthday! Food is always great and service very attentive and on point. Highly recommend and thankful for high quality food in Des Moines.

Diner Review №176

New to Des Moines. $5 for a small Thai tea is hilarious lol. It’s not even a large cup like most small businesses do but it tasted good. I appreciate the decor it’s a beautiful place, awesome atmosphere. If I wasn’t in a rush I’d have dined in and really enjoyed the experience. Unfortunately I had to order my food as take out because I was under the impression it’s faster, 10-15 min I was told...took around 30. I asked if I could still sit down and I was directed towards some waiting chairs…as pictured with no table to eat my food.. I was at least going to clean up after myself but I suppose spending $40 wasnt enough to warrant being able to enjoy my food unless I’m fully dining in. The hospitality was def not there. Not a single smile on the employees faces. I felt unwelcomed since I started ordering my food.

Overall, the bing bing 5 special beef wrap tastes great, but I’m not a fan of their wonton “soup” its a 6/10 wouldn’t go out of my way to get it again + couldn’t drink the broth it was basically pork water, and the sesame balls were okay, they need some condensed milk on the side to make it 10x better.

The vibe of the place is nice but I don’t think I’d come back; food is overpriced for the service you get.

Diner Review №177

This is must-have cuisine in Des Moines. I have taken my family there several times, the food and atmosphere are fantastic. Recently we tried the Bing Bing Wrap and Panang Curry, and were blown away by the complex, bold flavors. Five Stars!

Diner Review №178

Diner Review №179

Best chow around! Love the spice. Get your to-go orders in early, they get busy. Yum!!!

Diner Review №180

Fantastic food and portions! Love the atmosphere!

Diner Review №181

The food and service was good. The slice level was just right as I ordered a 3 out of 5 spice. The food was hot and fresh and the employees were very friendly. All though this wasn't the best food I ever had I did enjoy myself.

This place was amazing! I had their Orange Chicken, which was undoubtedly some of the best I've had. The atmosphere and decor is beautiful and their merch is well illustrated too. Hope you like cats, because there are maneki nekos EVERYWHERE. So many cute varieties.
If you're looking for a charming little place with great Asian food, this is it.
Still kinda wish they had the maneki neko stickers in stock though lol

Diner Review №185

Diner Review №186

This place was a very pleasant surprise. I love ramen and this place served me up a giant bowl of noodles with different seasonings and chicken as a protein. Very big portion sizes! The star of the meal was the CRAB RANGOON!!! If you have been on the hunt for the place that serves the BEST Crab Rangoon, this is it. Hands down, look no further, this place did it!

Diner Review №187

What an absolutely fantastic atmosphere, vibe, or whatever you kids are calling it these days. The food is unequivocally the best Asian food in the city. As a former service provider who has seen the ever elusive view of the kitchen, to check for cleanliness I can say the owners Kevin and Yo take it too another level. Hands down the cleanest commercial kitchen I’ve come across yet. Thanks guys for your hard work and your rating reflects. Take the risk and try it, if you haven’t yet you won’t be disappointed!!

Diner Review №190

Diner Review №191

THE BEST Southeast Asian restaurant around with the most friendly staff and coolest vibe. We order from lucky lotus at least once a week and it always satisfies! They have so many gluten free and vegan options and everything is delicious. Their spice is legit - I like my food super spicy and a level 3 hits the spot (this would be comparable to a level 4 or 5 at most places to order wisely). I highly recommend the tofu laap, summer rolls, nasi goreng, tofu char sui, nam khao, bing bing wraps, waterfall salad, khao soi, and basically anything that they have on their menu because i promise you it will be delicious and you will be coming back for more in less than a week. BTW Kevin, Z and the rest of the family and team are true gems and pour their hearts and souls into everything they do! So friendly. So amazing!

The service was great. The atmosphere was fun and felt very festive. It wasn't too loud and wasn't too crowded, though the tables in the corner under the umbrella covered ceiling were all taken.
As far as the food:
-the rangoons were overly sweet cream cheese filled, no texture or any crab (which I knew) but it was kind of like eating a mouthful of frosting. -The yuzu Brussels were crispy (and topped with puffed rice), but I wish there had been more of the yuzu to it.
-The laab was actually really good, if a bit salty. Flavorful, well cooked, and seasoned nicely. Served with sticky rice and lettuce for wraps.
-The panang came with jasmine rice. And it just didn't have much flavor. The shrimp were all cooked, but when I tried some rice with the panang "sauce", there was barely any flavor. I added some Sriracha to jazz it up, but was expecting a lot more out of a curry.
-Thai tea was great! A good balance of tea and milk.

I'll chalk it up to an off night in the kitchen given some of the amazing reviews this place has. And hopefully visit again if I ever get back to Des Moines.

I love their food, but a 2.5 hour wait time for online ordering is ludicrous. I'll never do business there again.

A+ A+ A+ !!! The food is so perfect, you'd swear a robot made it. It used to be Cafe Fusion by Thai Flavors.

No matter what, always get the coconut fried rice wrap
