Greetings from Siam Thai Cafe!
Weβre excited to bring the bold authentic flavors of Isan (Northeast) Thailand to the QC.
Our mission is to bring you the traditional cuisine of our hometown, Khon Kaen/ Udon Thani, with a modern twist and a casual dining atmosphere. Whether youβre craving a classic Pad Thai, or looking to explore new flavors, our fresh-made home style dishes will take you on a culinary journey.
We look forward to sharing our culture with you! π
Nothing fancy here and that's perfectly fine. This is the best Thai food I've had in the Quad Cities. Bon and his family have put together a great restaurant with a fantastic menu made well. The fresh rolls were nice and big with a super thick and delicious peanut sauce. I always order Pad Thai on a first visit as a baseline. This was one of the best I've ever had and trust me, I've had a lot of Pad Thai over the years. My husband had a delicious noodle soup dish. We capped the meal with mango sticky rice, a perfect end to a great experience. Can't wait to come back.
Siam Thai Cafe dining area is a bit small and that may an issue.
The food....
Shumai- nice and tender savory little pods of flavor.
The Crispy pork belly matched with the Red Curry. The waitress brought out a little tray of spices that we could adjust the heat of the dish on the fly. I ended up with the Chilis garlic fish oil. It had a very good heat but not a mouth scolding.
The Khoa Soi noodle dish was nice and creamy with a good amount of veggies. If anything it may have used a bit more lime but that's a preference.
If you can't get a seat Takeout options are recommended.
Currently the owner has said she can't really host larger parties due to restrictions on seating. Currently seats about 30 people.
We got to-go tonight for the family. Took awhile while it wasnβt busy but thatβs understandable, itβs a new restaurant. Fried pork belly was good. Mostly everything else was mediocre. The chicken satay and Pad Thai were terrible, it was very bland and an unappealing color. More expensive than nicer Asian/Thai restaurants in the QC and they charge a credit card fee on top of it. Definitely not just a βcafeβ, nearing fine dining prices. We got 2 entrees and 3 apps and our bill was about $100!
I almost don't want to review this place and keep it for myself. But it's too good not to share. The BEST Thai I've had in the Quad-city area. By far the best spicy basil noodles. I've recommended it to several people and they've all thanked me afterwards. It's small, but we've always gotten right in.
The Spicy Basil Noodles and Spicy Basil Gra Pow with Rice both delicious! Super fresh, authentic and light while still being very flavorful and filling. The owner and chef came out to chat with us and they were so nice and accommodating. Will definitely go back the next time I come through town.
Restaurant appeared very clean and neat, got take out. Tried the coconut custard, green curry and the app platter and some fried rice. All was superb lemon grass has some competition. Can't wait to go back.
My friends and I really enjoy dining at this restaurant; we visit frequently because the food is delicious and has a homemade quality. The staff is exceptional, and although the space is small, it offers a peaceful atmosphere.
Delicious and authentic!
Loved this spot for some good curry. My husband and I are still smiling!

The Pad Thai was delicious!
Very quaint restaurant! 7 tables total. The food and service was phenomenal! The ramen soup and wontons were delicious!

Perfectly prepared. Just right with level 4 hot! Delivered to the table quickly and with a big smile. No wine or beer yet. Maybe next time.
The BEST food I have hade in a while
Delicious food, worth the price

We got the spicy basil noodles and some crispy pork belly it was so good will definitely be back
Quaint little place. Tried it tonight for the first time. My friend and I shared the Shumai, Crab cheese wontons (which were amazing with the sauce), Spicy Basil Gra Pow, and the Green Curry with chicken. Everything was very tasty. We will be back to try other menu items!
Top quality prep and food. Just excellent.
Our food was excellent. They have a number of dishes that can be vegetarian. The service was very good. I'll definitely return.
Was so excited to see this new place. Got my lunch here today. So freaking delicious. The ladies were super friendly. The dining room is small but adequate and beautifully decorated. The bathroom was CLEAN. Iβll definitely eat here again.

The food and service were lovely. A bit pricey for what it is but again it was very good
Phenomenon food & service. Small place, but in a quaint way. Couldn't ask to support a small local great spot more.
Excellent variety of authentic Thai fare. The roast duck is very good and the tofu comes in nice chunks. You can order spicy dishes mild. Or you can get them thai spicy too. The fried wonton and fresh roll appetizers are the best we had anywhere. Service was very efficient and friendly. I highly recommend the Siam Thai Cafe.

Wonderful fresh and delicious!
I ordered food here to deliver it to my hotel. The food is tasty.
Exceptional!
We had three dishes and each was well presented and very tasty. The staff was friendly and attentive. I donβt believe they have a liquor license. Iβd return in a heartbeat if we lived close by.
The food is outstanding and everyone is so nice and welcoming.
The place was amazing.I could tell that it was gonna be good when I could smell the cooking in the parking lot
Excellent food & service
Absolutely amazing food and atmosphere. Will definitely be back.
This cozy and welcoming little restaurant has fast become my favorite place to satiate my unending craving for delicious Thai food. Having spent time in northern Thailand this place really hits the spot when Iβm craving authentic northern Thai dishes. They go out of their way to make sure the food is as spicy as needed and are some of the most welcoming and friendly people Iβve encountered outside of the land of smiles. The highlight of their menu is the crispy pork belly and I typically try to get any dish that Iβm able to add the pork belly.
Wonderful friendly service. The food was amazing and the menu has all of the favorites! Definitely a favorite!
Cute family restaurant with great food. We tried the larb gai, the pad thai and the Thai ramen. Everything was fresh and tasty. We will definitely be back.
We really enjoyed the Pad Thai and Red Curry! The selection of spices was fun and the service was great. We will be back!
100% authentic and made from scratch Thai cuisine. The service and quality of food is top notch and am excited this level of dining is available in the Quad Cities. Keep up the great work!
Amazing food made by amazing people!
It was a nice change to try a different thai place in the quad cities but unfortunately this one does not hit the mark. Went with four people and we all got different things to try. Little to no thai flavors and mostly bland with very small portions at very high prices. Small selection of choices to choose from the menu so I'd have to say we've tried over half of the menu with only two times going. No beer as of yet but owner says it's coming. Thai food and beer go hand in hand to offer a bit of relief from the spice you may receive. Final thought is we will not be returning and I don't see this place staying open very long at those prices with those portions.
Very tasty foods and amazing workers! We will be back!
I had the pork belly and the duck curry. The pork belly was very crispy and juicy, and the duck curry was the best I had every had. I'd strong recommend making a stop for dinner or lunch!
Great food, freshly prepared. We enjoyed the atmosphere of the cafe and the service was fantastic. I recommend definitely giving this place a try.
Both red and green curry were watery. Green curry had overload of eggplant, too much. Overall tasteless food . Not returning.
I love this place it so pretty and nice I love the people who work there they are so sweet and kind I loved the food
The food was amazing. The service was really good. I know this place has negative stars but everything depends what type of food you like and I love this food was really good very taste. Thank you so much I recommend to people who love this food
Great food, service and nice clean atmosphere. Highly recommend
We grabbed take out for lunch. Everything was delicious. We will definelty be back!
The meal and service were both incredible. The best Thai dining experience in the QC
Ate there the first week they opened and the food was AMAZING! The staff was fantastic, they were on top of everything. My family cannot wait to go back and try even more items on their menu.
Siam Thai is a 'one of a kind' type place. Great food, great environment, great people, and family owned.
The food at Siam Thai Cafe is so good. If you haven't given it a try, you really should.
Excellent food, great atmosphere. Smaller space but totally worth the wait. The food has many options including meat and spice levels. The staff is super friendly and they go out of their way to make your experience excellent.
The food was excellent. We had the BBQ buns for an app, never had them before we all loved them. I had rhe crying tiger(it was the best I have had in town) she had the tom yum and loved it. Service was great. We will be back.
Went opening week. It was clean, prompt service and all 3 items we ordered were fantastic. Will be back to try additional items off the menu !
It is a small place with excellent food and ample parking. They were very busy and you could tell they were working out kinks in the process (lots of chatting between servers to figure things out) but none of that detracted from service or the quality of the food. We hesitated as it was so new but so glad we went anyway. Will be back again soon. YUM!
Hands down some of the tastiest Thai food you'll find in the QC that'll have you coming back for more. If you're a spicy eater like me be sure to ask your server for the Thai spicy π₯΅ if you think you can handle it or try the spicy flight and add to your desired level.

Amazing food and waitress was the best.
Delicious food and great service. Can't wait to go back!
