The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The staff was attentive and friendly. I was there with a man. Oddly when it was time to give us the ticket the waitress reached over me and placed the bill by my left hand. Not by the hand closest to her, or in between us, by my left hand. I'm not sure what she was thinking but it was weird. My friend and I had a pretty good laugh.

The food is always good and a decent price for what you get. Better watch that Curry, it sneaks up on you. Mmmmmmm great servie, we love this place

On 15 Aug 2023 at 2pm, I walked into an adorable, extremely clean, well-kept and inviting space for a lunch special and was warmly greeted by very sweet staff. The server was attentive and knowledgeable. The food was amazing and came out really fast. Delicious complementary soup was brought to me upon sitting down. I ordered the spring rolls and the cashew nut lunch special with tofu. (I’m vegan.) The presentation was perfect and the flavor exceeded my expectations. The restaurant decor makes for a very tranquil space and the whole place smells fresh. The bathroom was also immaculate and smelled clean. I definitely recommend this place and hope to return soon!

🥠Crab Rangoons tastes creamy, warm and crispy. That’s good. About $8 for 5 pieces was pricey.
🍝Pad Wun Sen tastes good.

Finally tried something other than the green curry (because it is that good I've ordered it every time I've gone). This time we got a delivered dinner and I ordered the mango curry and papaya salad. 10/10!! Both so good, right on par with the green curry!

Had the orange chicken. Not that good. Like was old and re heated..He had shrimp fried rice not that good only ate couple bites. Even white rice was a big clump.

This place is great! Fast service, fresh food and good portion sizes. They even plated my kid’s chicken tenders into cute little hearts. The crab rangoons are amazing!

Delicious meal of pork dumplings, Tom Ka coconut soup(level2), and roasted Duck red curry(level 2). Nice spice level but not so hot that you couldn’t taste the lemongrass and herbs. Wait staff very friendly. Prices fair. My husband and I split everything and were totally full. Ordered the white Riesling and it tasted “off” so they opened a fresh bottle and it was much better. Highly recommend this over any chain restaurants.

One of the best places to eat in terre haute. The curry is amazing. Also love the noodle dishes and the recently updated plates and bowls. Pad thai tastes very authentic.

Lemongrass is quite wonderful, though a bit expensive. It's a small restaurant, but the food makes up for it.
Wife and I with our girls have gone to eat there multiple times. Lots of choices, and haven't found a bad one yet. If you like spicey, be warned, level 5 may catch you off guard. I've had coughing fits on occasion, not that it stopped me from eating. Wife treats level 5 as nothing... so take that how you want.
For me, personally, it is on the expensive side, hence 4 stars. Some of the dishes are easily 18 dollars. That didn't stop us though, just a bummer.

We are from the lunch menu and were very pleased with the variety and portion size for the price.

They aren’t open when they say they will be open. I didnt get to see at here. I called ahead during normal hours and no one would answer the phone. I arrive 45 minutes before they are scheduled to close between lunch and dinner and the doors are locked. Kind of stupid to go against your own operating hours.

We’re visiting Terre Haute for the first time. We are from Las Vegas. Lemongrass Thai Restaurant was our absolute favorite in the entire city. Quality, portions, service and most importantly the taste are all 5 stars in our opinion. Highly recommend.

I came in for a quick lunch with a party of eight. I expected things to be a little slow, because of eight orders altogether I was pleasantly surprised at how quick the service was, and how wonderful the food presentation was. The most amazing part was the taste. Our meals were prepared beautifully and the taste was astounding. My entire party was delighted with the service the presentation, the atmosphere but most importantly, the taste I personally had the cashew chicken that was on the $10 special. It was absolutely wonderful we all will be back.

I was excited to try the Volcano chicken. I ordered for myself and a friend. The only thing I received was my friend's tofu. It smelled and tasted like the carbon buildup on a grill. I didn't receive anything that I ordered. If you really want Thai, go out of town. I'll buy pizza or a sub from here on our.

Authentic Thai and would recommend this restaurant to anyone who truly likes Thai food. Staff was Awsome!

If you don’t leave a tip on your card the waitress she will automatically added a tip when I left cash . I have had this happen 2x

I got the kids chicken tenders they were pretty good, but one of them was hard. The French fries were pretty good but had really no seasoning.I would recommend this to someone who likes this type of food and wants to get it for cheap.

Food is really good, but for not getting ice we got charged for 2 Thai iced teas instead of one which we have came before a few times and this didn’t happened before and it hasn’t happened at any other restaurants we’ve been to.

Best Thai food in Terre Haute. I stop here every other day almost for lunch. Healthy, tasty food. Take out orders are very quick, like 5 minutes.

My favorite place to eat and order pick up

Service was good, but food wasn't as expected.
1. Pad Thai w/tofu: Baked tofu, noodles, bean sprouts. Two small pieces of green onion, one small piece of egg & half teaspoon of finely ground peanuts on the side. Needed veggies, more peanut, and a lime wedge.
2. Crispy chicken salad (special): White (iceberg) lettuce, few pieces of crispy chicken, a few other small veggies & a ton of red onion. For $15, I expected more. This was like a cheap diner side salad.
3. Curry W/Chicken: so much sauce that food was unrecognizable. Had quite a bit of cabbage pieces, which were not listed on menu.
Taste was there, but all meals were desperately lacking.

My son and daughter in law took me there on what would have been my husband and my 51st wedding anniversary. (He passed away last November.) I was very pleased with my choice of Crab Fried Rice. The best thing about it was the fact that it is made with REAL CRAB, and not the artificial stuff you find in many restaurant offerings. My DIL also ordered Calamari and Crab Rangoon s for us all to share. They were both the best I'd ever had. I can't wait to go back and try some of the many delicious sounding and looking menu items.

This Thai Food is some serious business. I had Chicken Pad Thai and I can say I was sent into a flurry of happiness and memories. Thank you to the wonderful staff at Lemongrass!

Edit:OMG HOW COULD I FORGET THE STICKY RICE PUDDING! that was seriously some of the most glorious Thai desserts I’ve ever experienced. I will come back for the mango when it’s in season! (Summer 2023!!!)

Orange chicken is subpar - breading is very greasy and oily as if it had been sitting in oil and refried several times. I did like the crunch though and the little bit of orange sauce available. I would not recommend this. Food came out quickly within a few minutes. This is unacceptable for a nearly ~$20 entree.

Visiting Terre Haute for the 10 day fest. Tried the Thai food and it was absolutely delicious. I ordered the Vege Green Curry. It was creamy and flavors just hit the spot for me. Iced coffee is my favorite. Beautiful restaurant for family and friends gathering. Will be back again to try more dishes. Ty ! ❤️

We went here and the dumplings is the only one that I actually liked and was the only one edible. My meal —which is the veggie, was too salty to eat. I had a bite or two. My mom ordered the tilapia with mango and it didn’t taste good either. She had a bite, and didn’t finish it either.

Their thai tea is good. The restaurant itself is clean, and their staff is nice but other than that, I didn’t like the food. We won’t be back unfortunately.

Passed through on a long road trip. Our table ordered Pad Thai, Massaman Curry, Hawaiian Fried Rice, and Satay. We were all pleasantly delighted. Food was aromatic and delicious. The service is extremely gracious and attentive, and the food is sooo good! Highly recommend the Panang Curry if you like a little heat. I’m glad they serve a spoon with so I could eat every drop! Their chicken satay with homemade peanut sauce is another fave. We’ve been here a couple of times and each time was fantastic.

I have been wanting to eat here for a while. I settled for ordering out and had a bit of a drive, so I definitely want to order again. Their curry was great. I also got their Orange Chicken because it looked like a lot of people have liked it and it is one of their specials. It is a spicy sweet, but my travel time was over an hour, so I want to try it again when before I rate it. The service was friendly and fast.

Lemon grass has quickly become a favorite for me and a few friends. I've had several dishes on their menu and you almost can't go wrong with whatever you order. And the wait staff is courteous and quick!

Second (or maybe third) time here, when driving by Indiana. Every time great atmosphere. They deliver exact spicy level I ask (no judgement by face). So highly recommend it.

This was easily the best Thai food I have ever had! Everything tasted so fresh and delicious. The Thai coffee was perfectly balanced so that it was not too sweet or strong. The staff was incredibly attentive and friendly. If I didn’t live 6 hours away I would come here every day!!!

This was my first time eating Thai food. I really enjoyed the crab rangoon and it is definitely worth ordering every time. The restaurant itself is very nice, the staff is great, and everything was promptly brought out. I am going to try it again at some point and try a different dish.

We went to dinner here after my sister's graduation. The Tom Yum vegetable soup is the best I've ever had. The service was good, but I did not like my beef and broccoli dish, the beef was tough and tasted bad. When I told the waitress I didn't like it, she didn't care and still put it on my bill even though I didn't eat more than a bite of it. But that Tom Yum soup is to die for. The veggie version at least!!!!

To start, the whole staff was amazing! Three of us dined in, and a bowl of water was offered for one diner's service dog! This has never happened at another restaurant. None of us had ever had thai food before. We all ordered something different: mango tilapia, garlic beef and spicy basil duck. We all tried each other's and all were delicious! The rice was perfectly cooked as well.
