Thai favorites, from curries to noodles, served in this cozy spot with a vibrant, funky interior.
This is my first time visiting Indianapolis (from Chicago) & pleasantly surprised by how good this place was
I’m usually skeptical of getting Asian cuisine in core downtown areas but Thai Paradise changed my mind
If you’re downtown, you’ve probably noticed that there aren’t many affordable places to eat since most are restaurants either offer steak, seafood, etc
Meanwhile my Massaman Curry was only $14.99 and Tom Kha soup was $7.99 - and I left FULL
The curry was very good & as authentic as I remember it (the carrots could have been a little softer) but the Tom Kha stole the show for me. It was served HOT (temperature) & had the coconut milk flavor I love.
As far as spice level goes, I got medium on the curry & mild for the soup. I personally didn’t think it was that spicy, but I also tolerate spice pretty well. I’d go one level up next time.
Overall, I’m glad I stumbled upon this gem. Service was great & the staff was very friendly & timely.
I love Thai food. I don’t review many Thai places unless I love them. I LOVED this place. The portions were lovely and the food was flavorful with a nice spice level (I chose medium spice). The atmosphere was inviting and the staff were friendly. I had the larb and green curry! Highly recommend!
Delicious food in a cozy little restaurant in downtown Indy. Would definitely suggest the Drunken Noodles! They have a choice on spice level on most of the dishes which allows anyone to enjoy the food. The price might seem on the higher end, but based on the amount of food you get it seems like a steal! They also have to go boxes and bags accessible so you can just grab them to quickly get your leftovers boxed.
Small, quaint Thai restaurant which is usually my kind of restaurant. Typical staples for any Thai restaurant with the type of decor that looks like any Asian small mom and a pop shop. Chicken pad Thai was spicy, hot and flavorful. The portion I received was incredibly large for one person, but who complains about that. Steamed dumplings were closer to dim sum, but still very tasty. Also had the chicken satay, again, very large portions for an appetizer. Staff was very friendly as well. Definitely worth a stop.
I came to this restaurant sometime in 2022 for lunch. And, it was pretty good. However, this past week was a disappointment. Food was average to below average. No flavor at all. The red curry was too watery. No condiments at the table. Had to get up a few times to get salt/ chilli sauce.
This place is well decorated and cozy. We had our dinner there, I assume that was their pick time that's why the place was a little bit crowded and we had to wait in a queue. But the food was worth the wait. Their thai curry and sea food soup are so good. Any thai food lover should try this place.
Fantastic food
Awesome food! Great prices! Best yellow curry! Eat here!
Great food, the large portion WAS LARGE it tasted good, the pad thai did have a little bit of oil welled up at the bottom of the noodles but it was still good and tasted good, and they actually tried to make it spicy when I asked, so very good.
The seafood "soup" was served on the plate instead of a bowl. The shrimp still had the tail shell. Everything was overcooked.
Friendly staff. Clean restaurant. Terrible food
I recommend the green curry, steamed dumplings.
Great little order-at-window Thai restaurant
The food was cold and our dishes came out at very different times. We had to share one dish because the other came about 15 minutes after. Portion sizes are pretty small.
Delicious food, the place is a little tight but that's because it was full!

I ordered beef basil rice and it was awful. Rice was burnt and watered rice. The most disgusting food I have ever wasted my money. The Thai restaurant on the west side is way better

Awesome fish cakes

Great staff. Fast service. One problem: really really lacking in flavor. I got it take out and brought it home and added a lot more chili oil crisp to help it. The price was okay… but not worth it in my opinion. Try pad Thai restaurant in caramel instead.
Friendly staff, good food and generous portions are a hard combo to beat. The Pad Thai had some heat and the spring rolls were crunchy. Recommended.
Great Red Curry. The service was very helpful.
Best dumplings I’ve ever had & the pad Thai (both chicken & beef) were delicious. Will definitely be back.
absolutely delicious thai food!! some of the best we’ve had. we enjoyed the freshness of the food. we got drunken noodles with beef and basil fried rice both medium which was a great spice level. we also got the crab rangoon and the dumplings which did not disappoint
Ordered the drunken noodles with pork to go. The amount of food was insane. Got two full meals from the order. I ordered extra spicy and it did not disappoint. Full of onions, peppers, broccoli, tomatoes, carrots, flat noodles and plenty of pork. Great sauce and absolutely delicious! Wish I lived near here as I would definitely be a regular customer.
Very good food and fair prices. I was there at dinner and it was crowded and their physical space gets a little cramped. There wasn't table service, so it was a bit hard to get something you needed after having already ordered. Last thing: I wish they served a little more rice with their dishes. All that being said, I'm still giving this place a solid 4 stars because the food really was good.
Everything is fresh! I’m never disappointed when I visit for lunch!
The food here was delicious. The pad see ew was perfect.
It wasn't too bad. Fast service, good food. It is cheap for international food. There isn't much room in the place, so take out is recommended. Service was fast food style where you order at the window. But, they brought the food to you Overall a good place.
one of the worst Red currychicken Ive ever had, no flavor whatsover, tasted just like milk
Disappointed. Spring rolls were almost frozen. Thai basil not authentic. Hot panang was not spicy.
This cozy little hole in the wall offered up amazing drunken noodles and gave us the perfect Friday evening dinner. Excellent no frills spot to stop in and enjoy some Thai cuisine.
The food here was very mid: their Pad Thai noodle dish with shrimp was 95% noodles, very few shrimp for the extra fee they charged, a tiny sprinkle of crushed peanuts, and few sad scallion chunks. Where were the bean sprouts and other good veggies that make this dish so much better elsewhere? Indianapolis doesn't have a lot of Thai options, got that, but this place is so sub-par. For those of you interested in good Thai food, take a rain check and try it out somewhere else that isn't trying to cheap out and use a small mountain of noodles to fill you up. Also, don't look for good service here. The management is stuck in a pandemic or UberEats mode. You order and pay for your food up front with a not particularly friendly cashier and pick up your food at the counter as well. Self service at full service prices! Pretty sure that takeout orders get priority. Take your $$$ and desire for Thai food elsewhere
2nd time here now and it's great, the food is lovely, highly recommend the Thai red curry.
I came to this restaurant sometime in 2022 for lunch. And, it was pretty good. However, this past week was a disappointment. Food was average to below average. No flavor at all. The red curry was too watery. No condiments at the table. Had to get up a few times to get salt/ chilli sauce.
Some of the best Thai food I have had in a long time, and I have been to Thailand. Highly recommend.
The staff is very rude and unethical.
It's a small place so it doesn't have that much atmosphere but the food is good and the staff are pleasant.
Yes yes yes yes yes just GO. We came from out of town and were in search of a tasty spot for dinner and I’m SO HAPPY that we went to Thai Paradise. The crab Rangoon were absolutely the best ive ever had. Sweet with a little salty. Perfect. Also the Pad Thai was exactly what I was hoping for. Heads up if you’re sensitive to spice in any way just get the mild. I got the medium and it was more of a kick than expected. I got extra peanut sauce to drown out the spice though and it was perfect. The wings were also SOOOO good. I believe the owner took our order and he was soooo nice, so informative, and didn’t lead us astray for any options. You can tell he really cares about his place and his food. The portion sizes were HUGE. Also, the margarita is amazing too! I know it seems too good to be true but it’s not. It’s a yes every single time and we will be back, don’t question it. Seriously!! Thank me later.
Great food, friendly staff, very relaxing atmosphere. There's nothing not to love about this place. It feels like a mini vacation from my work day every time I go here for lunch.
Best Thai I've had in Indy
Small, quaint Thai restaurant which is usually my kind of restaurant. Typical staples for any Thai restaurant with the type of decor that looks like any Asian small mom and a pop shop. Love this place. Best thing abt Indianapolis so far lol.
Excellent Thai. Nice heat levels, tasty, very well done.
I had the Penang Seafood Paradise and it was delicious. There was a gentle warmth to the medium spiced curried coconut milk with generous portions of shrimp, squid and sweet peppers over jasmine rice.
Es un lugar muy acogedor y típico de Tai, la comida estaba deliciosa y de mucha cantidad, todos dejamos en el plato. El menu de almuerzo es muy variado y económico para la cantidad que sirven. Estaba todo delicioso.
The food was delicious. I got spicy chicken pad. Thai, and I was really amazed how big the portion was. It was definitely enough to share. I also had spring rolls that were delicious crispy and yummy. Cute quaint restaurant walkable from the hotel that we stayed in so happy that we went. I love it here.
Seemed like mostly take out. It had an order window and there were a few tables for dining in. The food tasted delicious and was cooked to order. It was served at our table hot and fresh.
I travel extensively & love to try Thai restaurants. I've been to this one 2 previous times & enjoyed the food, but this last visit was not so good. Complete lack of flavors & spice. I requested medium but could not detect ANY heat or flavor of peppers, unfortunately. It just tasted like meat & veggies with a watery excess of fish sauce. Very disappointing.
Great food and very nice staff. Would definitely come back.
Huge portions of food.
Lots of broth, not much meat for vegetables. Spice was ok but the flavor was bland.
The Lunch specials never disappoint! I try to visit Thai Paradise whenever I am in town!
Good food
Seriously best curry I’ve ever had! I had Panaag Curry and I have tai everywhere I travel. Highly recommend.
This place is well decorated and cozy. We had our dinner there, I assume that was their pick time that's why the place was a little bit crowded and we had to wait in a queue. But the food was worth the wait. Their thai curry and sea food soup are so good. Any thai food lover should try this place.
Excellent food and great service!
Great pad Thai, kind staff in a small, tranquil location, highly recommended! Prices were very reasonable.
Great Thai dishes!
Cool little Thai place, food was great, service was fast and friendly.
Thai Paradise is a regular lunch stop and the food is really very good. Seating is minimal so go early or late. The drawbacks are minimal parking, minimal seating, and the prices have continued to rise. I love it but hate to drop nearly $20 for lunch with a soda and tip. Especially for fried rice with chicken. Primarily a walk and eat place for locals.
Food was good. Not a fan of the change over the last few years of having to go to the window to place your order instead of being served.
Great food and vegetarian options. Gets a little crowded sometimes.
I did not enjoy anything at this restaurant. I ordered Yellow curry with chicken. My chicken was left out. When I mentioned it, I was brought a replacement yellow curry with chicken. The chicken was not fully cooked. I normally can give points on the alcoholic beverages. I can’t do that either. Perhaps I ordered the wrong items. 😕
Pad Thai is a little too sweet for me.
An "order at the window" outfit with seating. All in all, great food.
I think the food here tastes absolutely amazing. I would give it a 5 star but I ordered the beef green curry today and received a tiny amount of rice and maybe 4 small slices of beef. Again, the curry tastes amazing but I feel like there’s no reason to scrimp on rice(what am I supposed to eat the rest of the amazing curry with??) and the meal should probably have at least a quarter pound of beef. This didn’t match my experience last time (which was much better) so I will be back again to give it another chance!
It's a small space but the food is always so great and the service is prompt. If you ask for spicy, they will give you spicy.
My favorite downtown Indy restaurant
Excellent food!!!
I have enjoyed great food and outstanding customer service for over 10 years at this restaurant ❤️💯❤️💯
I was in town for a conference and ate here with friends. We love to eat at "mom & pop" restaurants when we travel. Thai Paradise was a great find! I enjoyed the green curry with chicken. The flavors were well developed and the medium heat level was just right for me. One of my friends had the same dish, but spicy hot. It made him sweat, but he really liked it too! Next time I'm in town I'll make a point to eat here!
We ate here twice while in Indianapolis for a week. Between my wife and I we had the Pad Thai, the Cashew Chicken, the Sweet and Sour Chicken, and the Thai Paradise. Everything was excellent both times. The staff was very friendly and the food came quickly. I'm used to eating very spicy food so I ordered my dish Thai spicy. The first night I don't think they believed me as the dish was not at all spicy to my taste (though still delicious!). The second night I made it a point to mention that I really wanted it spicy and the dish had a fair amount of heat. I will definitely visit again if I find myself in Indianapolis in the future!
Excellent food!
Always great food
This place is one of those where you walk in and you know the food it either going to be amazing or awful. Unfortunately, this place seems to be the latter. Ordered the seafood paradise "Thai Hot" which was about as spicy as a piece of bread. The dish was also incredibly bland. The veggies were rubbery, the shrimp still had their tails on, and the dish just did not seem seasoned. One good thing was the rice, so that is a plus if you like rice. The wait staff were also very kind, but that just does not make up for bad food. Would not recommend.
Great Thai food here. The staff was wonderful and the food was fast to the table . Follow the heat warnings on the menu. They are accurate
Good Thai
Great place!
Walked in at 6pm and no one takes order for about 20 minute. Another customer waited about 15 minutes as well and left with me. If you only do online order and not dine in please say so at least not to waste our time.
Pad Thai is not special, but it's huge. You'll get three meals of it. Crab Rangoon wasn't special at all.
The shrimp chef special is great. I recommend.
What a cute little restaurant!!! The food was really good!
Delicious!
Ordered through GrubHub and ordered spring rolls and salad rolls and neither are in my order - thanks - this was NOT a cheap order
This place is really good! I had the duck curry and veggie salad rolls, super yummy. Comfy casual atmosphere, order at the window for dine in or takeout.
OH MY GAWD! SO GOOD! It's tiny, clean, simple, cute decor, and the freshest veggies and most delicious sauces. Incredible hidden secret - must try! YUM!
Cozy little place. Big portions. I got medium heat and while it wasn't spicy at all it had goodf lavor.
Delicious
Fabulous Pad Thai! Perfect spice level.
I wanted so badly to love this place. It's a kitschy sort of hole in the wall right downtown; I thought it would be a best kept secret with amazing food. It just... wasn't. The food was technically edible and came quickly, but was way too salty, saucy, parts not hot, stale rice, etc. Ugh. :( Cross it off the list, sorry to say.
Huge portion size and reasonably priced thai food. Friendly service. Try it.
Thai hot Panang curry is next level! Love it!
Hahahaahah… take that Beef Wheeler!
Order was incorrect and food was subpar, not authentic and seemed reheated/microwaved almost and not stir fried fresh. There is good thai in Indy but I wouldn't order here by choice again anytime soon. We ate a few bites.
Excellent food and quick service.
Showed up with my kids at 8:20pm and they would only offer to go. Hours clearly state open until 9pm.
The taste was a little salty. By the way, I was surprised that they cooked real Thai food.
Quick easy tasty lunch
We love going here for dinner! The food is always so amazing and the employees are friendly. I ordered food off of Uber Eats from this place and they got my order correct and the food was steaming out. We will definitely keep coming back. The "mild" spicy is still pretty spicy!
Even a star is too generous for this place. We ordered 4 menus, but they brought only 3 of them and never got us the last one until we asked them after an hour we got there. WE NEVER GO THERE AGAIN!!
Great Thai food. Fresh and plenty of it! I've had their Pad Thai and Crab Fried Rice. Awesome meals and totally satisfying.
Great food, especially pad see ew!!
Very friendly service and tasty food!
This is my go-to for Thai downtown. I like the Tom Kha, pad Thai, and spring rolls. Service is always fast and friendly. I always get takeout, so can't speak to the dine-in experience.
I have no idea how this place has good reviews. There is no server, you have to order at the window and pay first. The dinner portions are small for charging full price. The "Thai spicy" is a lie, I had to add for 4 sides of chili oil just to make it modestly spicy.
Literally THE WORST pad thai I have ever had. The noodles were mush and there was zero flavor. Even the peanuts weren’t crunchy.
Finest Thai food I ever had ❤️ Got the coconut milk soup and the hawaiian fried rice. Both are amazing
Best Thai place in town
Food and service is always great.
Food was very good, views outside are great, but interior is dimly lit, which in the cramped space, lends itself to a rather dreary atmosphere.
Staff was kind but the food was so bad. I ordered pad thai. A lot of noodles, so much over cooked, and very little other ingredients.
Very busy when we visited, but they handled it well. Food was good for Indianapolis food.
Great food.
The food was amazing. The chicken kabob appetizer were so tender and seasoned to perfection. The "drunken noodles" were among the best I've tasted. Fair warning, if your "heat" tolerance is low, medium may be too spicy for you. I consider my heat tolerance quite high and medium was perfect.
Lip smacking thai food! Self serviceable dining in a small-ish but neat place. The portion sizes are manageable (not too much, not too little) unlike some of the other restaurants in the Downtown area.
Food was great, but the waitress wasn't very courteous. Had their Drunken Noodles with Chicken. Really liked the taste and they served decent quantity of it. Also tasted the lemonade, didnt quite like it. It's a very small restaurant and not the best of it in terms of cleanliness and tidyness. But if one is looking for good thai food closer to the Mile square area, can check out the place.
Been here several times for lunch. It can get busy during the lunch hour. I recommend arriving around 11-11:30am. Pad That, mild, is my go to favorite here. The serving size is generous.
Cashier was helpful with the menu. Green curry was the best I’ve had, and the Thai iced green tea was delicious.
Wonderful restaurant!!! The spring rolls were delicious and the lemongrass soup amazing!!! Will definitely return !!!
Delicious lunch stop in downtown Indy.
