Traditional Thai dishes, cocktails & wine served in a casual, contemporary space with outdoor seats.
Hands down, the best General Tso's chicken in the area. The basil fried rice and Thai iced coffee are also excellent. The restaurant is very clean and the service is friendly and efficient. Aroy Thai is now our go-to for great Thai.
Big love to Aroy Thai. The food is always delicious, service is excellent and accommodating, and the space is well-kept and modern.
We went for lunch today and ordered two appetizers because we saw something on the specials board that looked great and was something we hadn't tried before (pork wontons). This ended up being way too much food. My husband ordered the pork pad Thai with a spice level of 3 dinner portion and I had the chicken pad Thai with a spice level of 2 lunch special. Our server brought our dishes out on different-shaped plates and very quickly (I'm assuming to differentiate the lunch and dinner portions), but the amount of food looked the exact same, yet the lunch special was $4 cheaper. I'm guessing the just increased the size of mine to match my husband's, or it was a happy accident. Flavor was incredible as always. We both only ate about half of our dishes, including the appetizers. We also ordered Thai tea that was so tasty and creamy. We didn't drink all of it while eating, so we got to enjoy it as a dessert after the meal.
We came in around 12:30 on a Wednesday and all but three tables were filled and I spotted two people come in to pick up their takeout orders. It's good to see them doing so well. Not surprising at all based on the quality of their food, service, and location.
So good! Have been here several times now, with my sister who is a local. It's one of their favorites, and easily one of mine now too! The noodles spice level 2 chicken fried rice, crab Rangoon, and spring rolls. We ordered out. The food was hot and fresh, with incredible flavor. Thank you!
Had a lovely meal then was told to “Get out!” “The kitchen closes in 3 minutes” we were barely finished eating or drinking our water and they were sweeping under our table and our feet. The two ladies working basically swept us out as fast as they could. I had to ask if I could use the restroom while they were mopping the floors. Great food but hospitality needs some work. 😂
This is a really good restaurant. Their portion sizes are very good. I love their tofu pad Thai. The Drunken Noodle is also very good, as well as their sweet and sour chicken and orange chicken. Those are the only things I have tried on the menu...so, everything I have tried, I have liked.
Very consistent Thai place with fast service. The spice levels are always spot on. The spring rolls are fantastic with the spicy red sauce they come with. Beware if you get carry out with something liquidy in the rectangular containers. They will leak if not kept completely level.
We love Arroy Thai! The ladies are super nice, the food is very good! We just wish the prices were more reasonable, but everywhere is high priced right now.
My husband and I stopped in here to eat and get out of the car for a bit on a long trip. We love Thai food and were pretty excited to eat some again since we don't have one near us. So we go in and order our food. I get chicken fried rice and he gets lomein. We receive our food pretty quickly. It is hot and the flavor is decent. I do wish it had a bit more spice that we have come to love with Thai food. All in all, while I probably wouldn't go out of my way to go back, the food wasn't bad. I would just be sure to let them know your preferred spiciness when you order.

The pad see ew is my favorite
I pop in here 2, maybe 3 times a week for lunch! Good n healthy!
We love Arroy Thai! The ladies are super nice, the food is very good! We just wish the prices were more reasonable, but everywhere is high priced right now.
Ladies are really nice. Food absolutely delicious!
The lunch was great and very reasonably priced. A few regulars for sure. I plan to be a regular lunch patron someday.

Food and service are outstanding. The facility is a little worn, but still relatively nice.
Very nice, pleasant atmosphere. Waitress was very knowledgeable of the cuisine. Speaking of the cuisine, it was SUPERB!! Served hot and fresh! Will DEFINITELY come again when I'm in the area!!
Food is always good here. Whether you eat in or take out. You get a lot for your money. I highly recommend this place. 2 thumbs up.
Food was good, quick attention to my arrival, good service.

The restaurant is way too small for the crowd and business they get.
The food is ok. The service is fine but I cannot give them more than one star due to the fact that they tipped themselves with my credit card. I left a tip and they increased it by a considerable amount. I’ll never go there again due to this.
A small little place for a simple date or just to grab some good food. Service was fast, and their food was delicious. I recommend the Pad Thai.
This is a staple everytime I visit - one of my all time favorites. Consistent and delicious!
So delicious!
We love Aroy Thai. We moved from the area three years ago and we make it a point to stop and eat there every time we visit. It never disappoints! We always get the Chicken Cashew plate, it's so delicious. The service is excellent. Highly recommend
Great food and service.
The food is always incredible ans the staff never fail to make sure you're helped.
Started off with summer rolls and those were great, had to pay a little extra for peanut sauce since they give you a sweet/spicy sauce w peanuts, but it was worth it. For the main course I tried Chicken panang which was extra soupy, bland, luke warm, and the chicken tasted funny. Staff was extremely accommodating and replaced my meal, so I got the tofu drunken noodles, and it had more flavor, but tasted a little too much like fish oil for my liking. Thai iced tea was ok.
Absolutely wonderful chicken red curry! Great food, very reasonable price. Can’t wait to come back.
Excellent place to eat.
Great food
Great birthday lunch
If this is "the best Thai food in O'Fallon," then I feel for everyone here. I ordered the beef pad thai, and there was NO FLAVOR whatsoever! It was noodles and beef - no taste of fish sauce, no taste of peanuts. No sprouts. The dish didn't even have a scent to it! I didn't order spice, but there should still be some kind of flavor without the spiciness. The worst pad thai I've ever had. I'm only in town for business but I definitely won't be returning.
Delicious food and excellent service!
One of my favorites, great food.
So many vegetarian options! There's lots of meat as well, so settle down. I tried something new and didn't like it as much as I liked my boyfriend's curry but it was all phenomenal. There was great service and I'm glad we got to experience it.
Best Thai on the East side of STL.
Awesome food and service. Ac was out so it was a little warm. The fans helped though.
Fantastic place, one of the best Thai spots in the area.
Food is good. Tables are sticky and room is hot, but that's always been the case. Clean the tables properly and invest in better air conditioning.
Wonderfully tasty Thai food. 1st time eating here. Will patronize again.
Located in a shopping strip right outside of the Drury hotel next to a star bucks, a little busy area.
But the food is fresh and delicious. I have had this place a couple of times. Their portions are generous, and their chicken satay is pretty tasty. One item not really mentioned is their Thai tea as a good accompany to their food.
The food was fantastic and it came out so quickly. Literally thr best thai food Ive ever had.Small little place with just a few tables and only 3 seats at the bar. I imagine they're packed all weekend long.
Good food. Had the panang curry, yummy
The food was fantastic along with the service and atmosphere.
Good General Tso's chicken. Wife likes the red curry here. returned a couple of weeks later, quality was not as good.
Chicken pad Thai was horrible tasted old or some other than chicken
Fantastic food. They recommended the "Drunken Noodles" and that's my new favorite dish.
What a great place! Their menu includes authentic Thai options, with some options for those less familiar with Thai cuisine. I was wowed by their delicious food, affordable prices, huge portions, and wonderfully friendly service. A true gem.
The pad noodles were very dry and tasteless. The shrimp was of very low quality.
I got Curry I ask the waitress to have it make mild she said the sauce comes in a package and cannot be mild. The dish supposed to have basil, there was no basil in the curry. We have not finished eating she gave us the bill and a box. I was disappointed.
Definitely my favorite thai place. My boyfriend and I always look forward to eating here. The crab rangoon is crispy and delicious. Everything I’ve had on the menu so far has not disappointed. The food has great flavor, spice, and you get large portions for a good price. Plus the service is impeccable. Definitely recommend Aroy Thai for anyone in the area looking for a place to eat or is trying Thai for the first time.
While staying at a hotel near by we lucked out finding Aroy Thai for dinner. Excellent food. Portion sizes are large and prices are very reasonable. Only sad part is we can’t bring it home with us to Canada! We will stop by again when passing through!
Much better than I expected. The heat builds for sure. The flavors are great, shrimp was perfectly done.
PROS: Fast and friendly service. Crab Rangoon was standard.
CONS: The food. Everything was bland. I don't think they seasoned anything. I ordered soup and it was literally boiled water with vegetables floating in it. My daughter couldn't stomach the orange chicken because it was cold and tough. The rice was too mushy.
Great food!
This is the only Thai place I keep coming back to. The food is amazing and they always give you enough for two meals!
Big love to Aroy Thai. The food is always delicious, service is excellent and accommodating, and the space is well-kept and modern.

Aroy Thai is one of the best spots in the area. Nothing to critique when it comes to the flavor and quality of their product. We are consistent consumers ordering at least once a week. Our kids love the Thai fried rice with broccoli, carrots and an added egg! Can’t go wrong with this spot.
The curry I ordered was lacking serious flavor.
This is my favorite Thai food place in the area, absolutely delicious
The crab ragoon was excellent! Crispy w there perfect amount if filling! We had 2 orders of pad thai... we had a level 2 & 3 for spiciness. The level 2 was a little bland and the level 3 was great...would have like more crushed peanuts, they were a lil skimpy with that. The Thai iced coffee took me back to Thailand, We will definitely be back!
Food was delicious they really need a bigger place they're usually have a crowd
I missed thai food.
I usually get takeout.Large chicken fried rice no carrots extra bean sprouts and egg. They pack it full.Enough for a good 3 servings
We love this restaurant! Delicious food and Thai iced tea. The servers are kind and helpful. Definitely recommend!
Flavorless pad thai for me but my husband's pad Thai had some flavor and the egg rolls we ordered looked like spring rolls but they taste fine.
Friendly staff but food was blant unfortunately
Excellent food
Great service
Huge portions
Very consistent Thai place with fast service. The spice levels are always spot on. The spring rolls are fantastic with the spicy red sauce they come with. Beware if you get carry out with something liquidy in the rectangular containers. They will leak if not kept completely level.
My favorite Thai restaurant when I am in the O'Fallon, IL area! Delicious entrees and soups!!
Good take-out cashew chicken!

Very enjoyable meal. Good service
We ate family dinner at Aroy Thai on Friday night and received fabulous experience. We will definitely go again.
food was great.
Great Food
Excellent food. Nicer place than it used to be in the old location near 141. This is maybe a mile west and perfect.
Im giving 1 star for the simple reason they are open. Other then that i recommend not going if u have a choice, dont. Staff was rude, i spent $47 on food(orange chicken, crab ragoon, tomkha gai soup, 1 coke) for 2 people, cant use the restroom and have to eat with plastic and Styrofoam. Food was not good. Orange chicken tasted nothing like orange and tough to chew. Im sorry to be so harsh but im tired of the hi prices and bad food.
NASTY! This is not Thai! YUK! I want a refund! Go to school and learn! I should have listened! NASTY! From ATLANTA! Don’t waste your money!
Fast friendly service and the food in one word was wonderful.
Yummy!! So glad you are doing dine in again
This is a really good restaurant. Their portion sizes are very good. I love their tofu pad Thai. The Drunken Noodle is also very good, as well as their sweet and sour chicken and orange chicken. Those are the only things I have tried on the menu...so, everything I have tried, I have liked.
Aroy Thai is one of my favorite Thai Restaurants in the United States, so whenever I am visiting the St Louis and Southern Illinois area I dine at this restaurant. Their Pad Thai is amazing, so if you enjoy Pad Thai or noodle dishes I recommend trying it. This is an amazing Thai Restaurant, if you are in the St Louis/Southern Illinois area I highly recommend trying Aroy Thai, you will not be disappointed.
Perfect
Food is seasoned to the specifics of the customer. It is always served quickly and hot.
I don't typically write reviews and I ignored the comments from others because I really wanted Thai. But boy I should have listened. This was hands down the worse Pineapple Fried Rice I have had in my life. It was tasteless, bland, dry and the rice is gummy. I couldn't eat it and it smells
Delicious!!
Good Thai food, with an awesome staff
Food was absolutely fire... but the lady at the takeout cou ter tried to hustle me out of $10 by way overcharging then refusing to let me see a receipt like I cant add 2 items together in my head.
Always great food and service .
Third time have eaten here. I did not enjoy it Will not be back.
I have never been let down by the service, wait time, and especially the quality of the food. Hands down the BEST Thai restaurant in O’Fallon, IL.
Loved everything about this place. 1st time found with my teens and we loved every dish we ordered. The Thai iced coffee blows Starbucks outta the water for a fraction of the price. Had the drunken noodles with chicken, pineapple fried rice and the kang karee curry. All were delicious 😋
The food was awful. Go somewhere else.
Great food! Loved the green curry and stick rice with custard is a great light desert!
It's nothing too terribly adventurous when it comes to Thai food, but what they have is delicious and extremely satisfying. The service was good, and it was very fast. The food came out piping hot, and we really couldn't have asked for any better as far as flavor goes. Great random find for us!
Food was delicious, service was great!! Will definitely be back!!
Sadly they don’t have som Tum and I don’t believe this is authentic Thai food. Likely Laos with a hint of Chinese-American. Food was very average.
The soup was amazing and the vegetables it it were crisp and fresh
Price is not accurate. Menu says $11.99 for a dish but they charge extra $14.99. Beware of this place. Not authentic. Very tasteless and sweet for a Thai restaurant. Worse Thai food I had ever tasted. Save your money!
Excellent, great food, customer service and atmosphere.
Food and service is excellent.
This isn’t Thai food. It’s not seasoned at all. My husband and I order pad Thai and Thai fried rice. It was not spicy as ordered, the rice was mushed together and the noodles didn’t look fresh. Not to mention again the food was NOT SEASONED as Thai food should be. We’ve had an array of Thai food from different places and this is by far the worst. Disappointed it’s rated 5 stars.
Their food is always delicious and the service is great! I just wish they were open a little later.
Tofu Pad Thai was on point! This is our new favorite restaurant!
My food was awful and under cooked.
Best Thai in the Metro East!
It was yummy, very good service too!
We ordered orange chicken, Tom Kha, Combo fried rice, & combo sampler. Orange chicken didnt taste like Orange or sweet at all, taste more like soy sauce. Tom Kha was cold by the time I got home (10min) like it was setting out unheated. Fried rice is just okay. & Combo platter is just okay. Nothing was so good that we'd get it again. But its edible.
Great food once again
I've gone here on and off over the years since they opened. They are consistently good quality. My husband loves their thai iced tea and wonton soup (it has cilantro, so nor for me). I LOVE their aroy fried rice. So good and usually enough for 2 meals for me. It is a casual, seat yourself environment if you choose to eat in. Pick-up is also an option we've used a lot throughout the Pandemic. Even some picky eaters in our family have approved of the food here.
They were closed permenantly
The food I received did not taste good.
This place was great. The design atmosphere was modern and cozy. The food was delicious and service was great. The greatest part was as we were leaving, within minutes they were disinfecting everything we had touched. The table, chairs/booth and even the doors after we walked out. Will definitely be back!
I'm visiting from the Oregon Coast for a week and Aroy is saving my life!! Everything so far has been so delicious. Highly recommended!
Curry Shrimp Fried Rice.....Shrimp were great but Rice was overcooked too gummy not flaky at all. I was very disappointed messed up the whole dish😩
My wife and I eat here at least once a month. We love this family owned restaurant. They're always so nice and they cook large portions of wonderful tasting Thai food
Fantastic food and service! I had the Rama noodles with vegetables, everything was super fresh and portion very generous.
Delicious food and outdoor patio dinning
Absolutely exquisite
Won’t answer the phone to place a pick-up order
Got the Chicken Pad Thai and I know.... spicy level 1... but all in all, I felt it was really lacking flavor. They have outdoor seating, but it’s old, wrought iron patio furniture.
Drunken Noodles are amazing
