Dine-in is now Open!!
I stumbled upon a hidden gem today, and I couldn’t be happier! While wandering through the area, I decided to stop by this charming Thai restaurant to surprise my husband, who loves Thai food. Little did I know, I was about to experience something truly special.
From the moment I stepped in, the atmosphere was inviting. The tables were spotless and thoughtfully decorated with fresh flowers, creating a warm and welcoming ambiance. The owner greeted me with a kind smile and immediately made me feel at home. I was handed a pristine menu, and the message on the front caught my eye: 'Every bite is delicious because it’s made with love.' That promise couldn’t have been more accurate.
I decided to order takeout and chose a Thai tea, crab rangoons, and a spicy pad Thai with extra-extra chicken. While waiting, the owners treated me to a cup of hot tea. The aroma was incredible—like the comforting scent of freshly steamed rice—and the flavor was just as delightful. It turns out the tea is made with rice, and I instantly fell in love. I can confidently say this tea alone is reason enough to return.
When my food was ready, the owners chatted with me for a bit, and their kindness shone through in every word. Before I left, they even gifted me a little keychain—a thoughtful touch that made the experience even more memorable.
Once I got home, the aroma of the food was irresistible, and I couldn’t wait to dig in. The crab rangoons were perfectly crispy with a creamy filling, and the pad Thai was absolutely bursting with flavor—hands down the best I’ve had in the area. I didn’t even pause to take pictures; it was that good.
This restaurant isn’t just a place to eat—it’s an experience. The food, the hospitality, and even the tea left a lasting impression on me. I’m so grateful to have discovered this spot and can’t wait to come back again!
Na Siam changed hands. It was pretty good before, but it's great now. We ordered a crispy noodle dish and a soup. Both were great. (The crispy noodles were really crispy -- kind of an amazing effect in a sauce.) The mango with sticky rice desert is also artfully done. If you want Thai food, this is a great place to go. Note -- expect to get your food slowly, as they make everything when you order it, something a lot of Thai places do not do.
I find this a special place owned by a lovely Thai couple. The food is much better than most Thai restaurants. The quality of the ingredients is excellent and the cooking, delicious. Tonight I had the Drunken Noodles . I enjoyed every bite and had egg rolls for an appetizer. Wonderful. Their appetizers are particularly good because the dough they're wrapped in is light and crisp not heavy. Try it - you won't be sorry. I eat there but also pick up and that has worked well. One of the entrees is a combination of their appetizers; it's really good.
I understand wanting to support this small business and family, and if typical, cheap, run-of-the mill Americanized Thai food is what you’re looking for, this fits the bill. I felt mislead by reviews and a recent article profiling their authentic flavors and quality ingredients. The broth was bland, curry watered down, pad Thai unbearably sweet…my assumption is straight off the Sysco truck. Just want to help folks manage expectations.
Great experience for my hubby's birthday. The food was delicious! We had the egg rolls, country fried chicken, nam sod salad, curry panang with chicken, basil fried rice with chicken, and paw si ew with chicken. The owners were kind and friendly and brought out sticky rice mango dessert with candle and sang happy birthday what owners does that!? It made my husband night and the dessert tasted really good!!! It felt good to have the place to ourselves--it was quiet intimate and nice decor overall. I would highly recommend. Thanks again for the great customer service. We will return.

Very polite owners, delicious food, made from scratch and served hot. Would come in again for sure.
Little area gem. Yum. Delicious, fresh, stylish and friendly
Having the owners kids playing in the dining room made it feel very cozy and homey.
Fresh-tasting family style Thai, no frills, excellent family-first service. The Tom Ka soup is really special
Food was excellent! Best Thai restaurant in Oak Park!

Все очень вкусно и со вкусом! Ощущение что, на время попадаешь в Тайланд ❤️ огромное спасибо за теплый прием! Придем еще не раз.
Lime Chicken !! Very Delicious. I love the sauce they create themselves.👍
Large portions and amazing service
Super chill spot with nice owner, and the food was really great at a decent price. Highly recommend.
La comida es excepcional!!! La atención muy buena muy recomendado gran descubrimiento! Pedimos una Sopa Pho y fue un elixir!!!
Family run restaurant, very good ambience, decently priced and delicious food. Do try their Green Curry, Tom Yum soup and Drunken Noodles. Highly recommend this place.
Charming proprietors. Fabulous meals for all nine of us including children and one guy afraid of spices. Very slow service but probably are more fully staffed at regular meal times.
Wonderful people and food!
Wonderful food!
Great Thai food, good servic
Is this place under new management? If so, since when? I ordered dinner takeout about 2 years ago. It was the worst "Thai" food I ever had. I remember one of my orders including an expensive seafood soup, $20+, and all I got was 8 oz of flavored water. The rest of my order consisted of small portions of bland food and nothing like the descriptions on their menu. I'm seeing all the newest rave reviews of this place. Now I'm wondering, is it worth a second visit?
Food & service is AMAZINGGGGG!!! Will come back. Recommend 100% the owners Knock & Honey are so sweet and personable makes the experience 100% great
Food was delicious and the owner is so kind!
Ordered for the first time today and the food was so good! Easy to order online and the food was ready quickly. When I went inside to pickup everyone was very friendly and welcoming :) Wi go back!
Very good customer service and very good foodd👏👏
Thankful for the experience! I decided to try the duck on a whim in the Basil fried rice & was not disappointed! Loved the fresh veggies & the duck was seasoned ro perfection...
Good food and relaxing place, you can find it here👍🏼
Except fresh cooked food, not from frozen like most Chinese restaurants. When they say spicy it’s best to order cucumber slices to cool your tongue.
The food was fresh hot and DELICIOUS😋, the service was SUPERB both the server and who I would assume was the owner or host were very pleasant and engaging. The atmosphere was calm and colorful .Suggestions were given, the menu is curated very well with plenty of pictures and descriptions of the many selections available. I kept it simple and had Pad Thai with Beef and Shrimp and my friend had the Mongolian dish with duck and shrimp. We shared the # 12 Appetizer with fried Shu Mai, Eggrolls, Crab Rangoon and Fried Dumplings that were served hot with a excellent dipping sauce that I think was homeade. We both had Thai Iced Tea to drink. This was a great experience for the first time here and we will definitely be back again. This is what service and dining experiences should be. Our bill was about $75 total. 🤑 We were so busy eating we forgot to take pictures.......nextime 😁
Authentic Thai Food. Na Siam Style Pad Thai was amazing. Definitely coming back!
Delicious fresh food in a friendly family atmosphere. Owners are very conscious of providing a welcome environment along with their tasty dishes. Complimentary dessert of small coconut puddings served in tiny heart shaped molds was the perfect end to a lovely meal. We will be back again soon!
The customer service was amazing, staff is genuinely kind. The bathroom is also very clean. Highly recommended for families.
One of the kindest and most attentive staff I’ve ever met! Food was delicious 10/10!
Fast service, delicious food. The host was very kind and tentative.
Tasty American Thai staples in a spacious restaurant. The restaurant owner is so kind and generous, with two adorable children. Delicious loose leaf jasmine tea. Highly recommend!
Fantastic food, competitive prices for FRESH food and incredibly friendly staff. Food was made super fresh and their Crab Ragoon has real crab in it (and lots of it as well). The atmosphere could use some updates, but it doesn't take away from the quality of the food which is why I go here. The owners are a young family with two kiddos the same age as mine (1 and 2 years) and their daughter presented my daughter with a traditional Thai elephant keychain. I absolutely love everything about this place and the food.
Me and my fiancé came here tonight for the first time. Such a lovely, welcoming atmosphere. We spoke with the owner for a bit too!!! I highly recommend the Tom yum soup and the chicken potstickers! Will be coming back :)
Every time we go here I leave with a smile. Love all the dishes we have ordered. The food tastes very fresh and no overcooked vegetables!
Lovely atmosphere, and great staff/owners. Small which makes it supercharming, Clearly the owners seem to really care and take pride in their business.
Great to find a place that is this good and is under the radar which is why I am making a point to leave this review. Highly rec. and will continue to support!
Note: people who leave negative reviews, should take minute before punching POST. Think about how it can effect these kind of small local businesses.
My wife had the pho noodle soup and I had the Panang curry. Both were absolutely delicious! They also happen to be the kindest people on earth and extremely welcoming.
Good price and taste
The food is delicious and excellent service. Very friendly. Definitely I will bring my family and friends.
First time eating at this restaurant. I work in the area and had a craving for Thai food, unfortunately the restaurant I always go to was closed. I ordered the Pad Thai and it was very delicious 😋 I asked for Thai hot and no peanuts, they made my order exactly how I wanted it so that was a plus.
My food was to go and the owner came out to hang me my food and gave me a new year's cute keychain. I highly recommend this restaurant!
If you're going to read this, read the whole thing. They are incredible people who make wonderful food. But above all, you gotta respect their hard work and friendliness.
Tried ordering from this place earlier this week, and via a misunderstanding I had paid online but didn't receive my food and after a long day at the hospital. I'm training to be a surgeon and hadn't eaten a meal yet that day, and it was a sad moment to realize dinner was going to be from the freezer section of the 711.
I got a refund and decided to try again today. They apologized when I walked in, and even gave me an extra serving of food and some of their favorite dumplings. The owner, his wife, the manager, and another worker introduced themselves and spoke with me for a little while. They apologized and invited me to come back. They are very friendly, the food was excellent. They even taught me a couple words in Thai! Miscommunications and mistakes happen. Their commitment, openness, transparency, and pure down-to-earth personalities makes them special. Plus, they are a hardworking group of people trying to make it in a competitive market. So if you like Thai food and like supporting their vision, eat here!
Good food
I loved this cozy place! They made us feel like home. Food was delicious and excellent service
This was a great little hole in the wall Thai restaurant right on W. North St. in Oak Park. We enjoyed the drunken noodles and the yellow curry special noodle, with Chicken Satay as an app. Not too busy, but it was a Wednesday evening. Very reasonable priced and fast table service. Go check it out!
Their noodle dishes are extremely bland. Giving one star because the vegetables are not fully cooked. Bit into a rock hard carrot. Vegetable egg rolls not homemade and food was cold
Best sticky rice w mango
Very good food, pretty good prices.
There are many Thai places around but this one is top 3 in flavor and pretty inexpensive.
Very delicious fried rice. I can’t wait to try more dishes.
Delicious Thai food!
Food is delicious. One of the few places I have found to serve seitan.
Really enjoyed all the food we ordered. It was ready quickly and staff was friendly. We picked up. The website was easy to use. We loved the spring rolls; they were well-seasoned and the light sauce was a good compliment. The crab rangoon were nicely assembled and the wrap was still crispy once we got home. My husband really likes their peanut sauce. The chicken satay was a hit - marinated well before grilled. I really liked the tofu basil eggplant (better, more complex flavor than expected) and spice level ordered matched expectation pleasantly. My husband enjoyed the masaman curry. Cucumber salad was as expected. Fried tofu was good; we thought would be even better with more seasoning on the tofu itself. All in all, the best thai restaurant for pick up we have tried for probably years now. It helps that it is conveniently located on North Ave and they text once order is ready (communication received from order submission through to actual pick up was great). Keep in mind we ordered four sides and two main dinner dishes (it will be cheaper if you order less sides or go for specials).
my meal was good but unfortunately my husband is gluten-free /celiac and unfortunately when I asked if the pho soup is gluten-free, I was told that even the noodles are gluten-free well needless to say my husband is right now having very bad cramps in the stomach because something was not gluten-free.
It is worst taste Thai food I ever had, but the price is so not good. If u wanna try authentic Thai good. Try somewhere else. Do not waste ur money, time here.
Great vegetarian (tofu) noodle and rice dishes. Delicious. Very quick on our delivery order
I got one the Tom Yum soup! It was really good. You can taste the fresh ingredients and they combine together in nice and unexpected ways. Get the roasted duck as well, it's worth it
Old food - soggy fried chicken and clumpy noodles. Twice in a row.
Food was great but it was pre-made, and not hot (temperature) enough. Small portions. The restaurant was very cold. A room heater was on but not big enough to warm the entire dinning room.
This place is amazing!!!! Food was decadent!!!! Will be returning soon to dine in and for take out as well!!! Definitely recommend!!!!
Food was phenomenal and the service was quick. Definitely going back.
The Tom Kha soup is very good, the Na Siam salad is very fresh, I loved the peanut dressing, The Pad Thai noodles with shrimp is great. I highly recommend this place.
The food here is really good! We tried the chicken wings, summer rolls, crab rangoon & pot stickers for appetizers, all of which were very tasty. I tried the Tom Kha soup with a coconut broth that was super delicious and I definitely recommend! My son had the wonton soup and he said he really enjoyed it, he gave me a taste of the “meatball”? In the soup, which was good and reminded me of a Mexican albondiga with the taste and texture. We also got the the green curry soup with beef, and it was my favorite out of them all, a little spicy which i love, flavor town. Also I’d recommend the Thai iced tea if you’ve never had it
Gave me and my gf mild food poisoning. Tasted fine though, if you are into that.
Very delicious food.
Pad Thai is great! Thai Ice Tea is very yummy. Pineapple fried rice is awesome.
And the kick from the spice (when requested) is perfect.
I love this place. It's my go to Thai restaurant.
The family had I had a late lunch. The food was good. The bathrooms were spotless. Wow. Good times.
I don’t like leaving bad reviews so I’m still giving them 4 stars, but this place really wasn’t doing it for me. If I was being honest it was probably closer to a 1 or 2 star experience. Red curry tasted like water, hardly any flavor whatsoever. Pad thai was decent but noodles were over cooked. Egg rolls were soggy and swimming in oil. Maybe it was just a fluke but I didn’t enjoy my experience here and wish I hadn’t spent so much flavorless food. (I will say though, the mango and sticky rice was absolutely delicious!)
Very good the best around
Authentic and fresh
This was our first visit to this restaurant. We will certainly go back. The Pho was perfect, exactly what we wanted. We also enjoyed the summer rolls. The restaurant is clean and pleasant, our waitress was charming.
New chef as July 2022 and the food is even better than before!
The best sushi
I had eaten here once before and loved the food and portions. When I most recently ordered, I learned management had changed. The food tasted great, but the portions were most definitely not worth the price. I think they could be more successful with a price change or portion change, but for now, I'd rather get more bang for my buck elsewhere.
We are new to Oak Park and we are currently exploring the area to get to know our community better. We love this place! It was our first time to try their Pho (beef) and the highly recommended Pad Thai and they were all worth it. My 5 year old son also liked the orange chicken. You can tell that they work hard to give you the best experience. We will definitely keep coming back..♥️
Years ago, I liked this place. Today, I went back to get basil chicken medium spicy with light sauce. First, when I ordered online for pickup, I could not finish ordering it without putting tips although I was picking it up. Then, the food was soaked in pool of sauce, not spicy at all and rice was old. To be honest, I think they just microwaved leftover food. They give very small portion, too. The worst basil chicken ever. 😥 I hope they start doing better again soon.
Amazing food and good service! P.s. don't forget to try the mini chocolate brownie
Higher quality tasting thai food. Just west of Chicago. Great take away service. Standard menu item, though I wish they had better veggie egg roles.
It’s our fave Thai place but the past two times we tried ordering they’ve been closed. The first time was for new carpet (weird) and tonight is “scheduled maintenance” Hope they’re not going out of business
This is by far the best Thai restaurant in Oak Park. The owner is friendly and remembers returning customers. I have tried drunken noodles, boat noodles and khao soi. All are delicious. I will go back and try different Thai dishes.
So far, the beat Thai food I know of in Oak Park. I love their pad thai and the modsumon- I'm not sure how to spell it - is amazing. Enjoy!
Very friendly staff. Large portion sizes. Would recommend. 👍 My brother had fried rice and he said it was delicious, better than a lot of places he's been to. My dad had panang curry and he enjoyed it, I tried a bit and it was sweeter than what I prefer but still good. My husband had the Pad Thai and was extremely satisfied. I had the laab salad, it was tasty but I was a little disappointed as the menu mentions spicy lime juice and I did not find it at all spicy. I still enjoyed it but might try something else in the future as I really enjoy spicy foods. We all shared a crispy combo and everything there was very good - not greasy, perfect crispness.
Ate here with my wonderful girlfriend and was greeted with nothing but hospitality since entering the restaurant. Workers are wonderful and the food was excellent had the Red and Green Curry dishes with the Tom Kha soup(which was recommended)! Safe to say we’re coming back again soon!!!
Had Pad Thai here and it was very true to Thailand. Excellent customer service and would absolutely return again.
This was the worst Thai food I have ever had. The Thai fish cakes were unrecognizable. They didn't look or taste like fish cakes. The Las Nar was worst. Thin watery gravy. Very little meat in anything. This is our first time here and we hate that we couldn't find something positive about it.
Sorry for all of us in the neighborhood.
Very delicious. It's a must at least once a week.
Best curry I've had
Reopened with a new chef on March 2nd. Great stuff. Particularly good with shrimp. Loved the Boat Noodle, curries, and stir fries we have tried so far. Tasty Mango Sticky Rice.:)
SO GOOD, go and you'll see what I mean!
Excellent Pho with Pork
This is such a great and local restaurant to go to for Thai food! The staff is very nice! I will definitely dine in here for a meal once restrictions are eased
One of the best vegetarian friendly restaurants in the Chicaholand area. Vegetarian options feel like an afterthought at most places, but not here. Almost every dish has a veggie option and it's always delicious!
Wow, what can I say other than "Don't Do It".Serving size minimal. For the price a you would think it would edible with regret.
Noodles were stuck together. Hair in food. And don't get me started on the over-battered shoe string chicken called "Orange Chicken. The chicken that was there was dried up and tough. Not worth a pic. ☹😠!
Food was not good dry had a hair in the food overprised and small servings for a lot of money also tea is not good orange chicken no rice and only chicken pad woon sen had a hair and just not a good place to go if you want tai new star is better and only like 3 minutes away from there
I tried this place b/c Bodhi & Mama Thai were closed. It did not hit the spot for me as Bodhi Thai on Roosevelt road does. I’m however glad to support a small business.
Horrible Pad Thai. Way too pricey and just nasty.
The orange chicken is horrible. No chicken just strips of breading fried with a bunch of orange slices on top
I love this food.
Very disappointed! We love Thai food and this is our first try at this place. I ordered carry out and as usual we ordered our favorite shrimp summer rolls which is the vermicelli and shrimp wrapped with the rice paper. Spicy seafood and spicy beef salad, Thai three musketeers, chicken satay and cucumber salad. When I took the food out, the rice paper was all falling apart and shrimp was real tiny. The beef salad didn’t have much flavor, cucumber salad was bunch of lettuce in the bottom just few sprinkles of cucumbers on top... called back to explain my experience and I was told “ this is the way we do it’ 😑
Amazing Thai food and manager. Will definitely order again!
The place is dirty and food was nasty. I regret spending my money. It takes me hours to make so I can end up eating nasty food
Kind people. Great good. You won't over indulge. Prices are a liiiiitle high. I think.
Very delicious food, but not quick. The fried appetizer combo was fine, not special. But the soups and panang curry we ordered were DELICIOUS. I do wish we'd been prepared for the wait. The food is not quick.
Me and my family always get the curry!! 🤩 All of them are great but definitely try their panang or mango curry!
Family owned restaurant that cooks up amazing dishes!
This place is run by an old couple who are the cutest and they serve awesome authentic thai
Amazing food and excellent service.
I have never been disappointed.
Food is absolutely amazing. The cute old couple make you feel like home. Kennedy - the lady upfront amazing too.
Flavors are fantastic and this place is priced well too.
Very satisfied!
I'd like to rate at almost 5 stars. The green curry chicken was quite good, as was the Larb Kai, and the Mango w sticky rice. Would go back and highly recommend!
Saturday night and no servers available. Take out only. This is another kinda' stupud.
Fantastic food with great complex flavors.
Have encountered the owner on several occasions shopping for the fresh ingredients.
The owners and the woman in the kitchen preparing the food are the kindest most humble people I've had the pleasure to meet which is another reason we return again and again for their delicious, fresh Thai food. They have an item that's not on the menu, "The Curry Puffs" which are absolutely delicious, kinda akin to a samosa.
Great place. Calm atmosphere
Very friendly atmosphere and great food! Highly recommend dining in or ordering out.
Good food quality and great atmosphere
The food was excellent and service was good; although when I first got there I had to look for someone cuz they did not realize that we had arrived. My son had larb chicken and basil chicken; I went with crab rangoon along with a green curry with beef. Given that it was cold my Curry beef had the consistency of a soup, and it warm me up well.the chicken larb and basil chicken utilize ground chicken what's my son enjoyed.this was an authentic experience and I would recommend this place for family dining
Love this place! Great food in a very casual atmosphere!
Check this place out! Pretty good. I had the pad-kee-maw (veggie) and crab Rangoon. My only issue was the small servings vs.price.
Awesome cozy place to have some amazing Tai food!
Sang and Teem are the best husband and wife team ever.
Sang does the front of house and Teem does the back of house.
The food is always fresh and tasty. We go every Thursday for BYOB. It’s quiet, it sweet, it is homey. If feels like going over to a friend’s parents.
Try their Tom Yum soup, basil chicken meal or pepper garlic, it’s awesome. Owners are really nice people, always friendly. Food is super quick served and price is unbeatable. Love it!
The food is always delicious at Na Siam. Best chicken rice soup in the area, I especially love this when I'm not feeling well. I have them extra ginger...so good! The owners are so friendly, and they deliver and offer BYOB for dining in. Definitely worth trying as they're very accommodating.
Delicious food
Wrost Experience. Wrost food.
Great place it feels like you are eating homemade thai food.
I like this place. The owner prides himself on serving only authentic thai food. Parking is a nightmare though. Only street parking on North Ave is available.
The good was fantastic and the service outstanding!
Delicious food, great atmosphere, fabulous service. 10/10 would recommend!!
Super nice staff
The food is amazing
Excellent food! The prices are pretty good too.
Great food well worth it. Friendly staff closes to early. It's fantastic for a early dinner.
Great food, prices and very friendly staff.
Food was very good and hot when it arrived at our table.
Great food to match the great staff
A very cozy, warm atmosphere facilitated by the friendly, outgoing yet humble owner in Sam. Great food with reasonable prices. Give them a shot!
Great Thai food and atmosphere; the lime chicken is very good.
Best thai in the area. My go to spot.
