Intimate Thai restaurant showcasing classic fare such as chicken satay in a strip-mall setting.
I was in the area and wanted to try something oriental dish. So i tried this place. Nice food and delicious. They have plenty of options in their menu. The place look like its kinda old. The service is also great. Its fast. The dumplings was heated in the microwave. Because the inside was cold while the outside was hot.
I arrived when there was a lunch special available. I upgraded their panang (rice dish) to beef at an extra fee. A single fried vegetable egg roll and a small cup of tom yum soup are included in the lunch special. Although the soup appears thin, its flavor is still present and not overbearing because it wasn't very sour. The scent of spices and lemongrass are pleasant. The egg roll was nicely crispy. The veggie filling has a flavorful seasoning. It has carrots, onions, and cabbage. Along with it was a side of sour and sweet sauce to dip. The panang was appealing served with rice. The deep orange color of the red curry gravy is enhanced by the bright red hue of the bell pepper and a hint of earthy green basil. The texture of the red curry is thick and velvety, unlike anything I had imagined. The flavor's complexity left my taste buds wanting more; it was savory, creamy, spicy, and sweet.
I liked it so much that I ate it all, but the portion was modest, and I was still hungry, so I got their appetizer, chicken wings, afterwards. There were six pieces. It contains a pleasing balance of flats and drums. It will undoubtedly be filling due to its large size. Due to the wings' heavy coating of chili sauce, the outside lost its crispy quality. Don't be misled by the chili flakes; the Thai chili sauce is more sweet than fiery. It's actually rather moderate. The meat was not done enough. When I confronted the staff and discovered that the flesh was still red and bleeding, they apologized and sent the wings back to the kitchen to be cooked again. I couldn't be angry because the staff informed me before I placed my order that the wings would take longer because of the process, so I was frustrated that I had to wait a long time for them and that they had to be sent back at the same time.
I had their Khao Tom Mud for dessert; it's a simple but tasty dish made of sticky rice with a fresh banana filling and wrapped in a banana leaves. The sticky rice was fragile and gooey at the same time. The banana filling was tender; it also had an undertone of sweetness. The texture of the bean is somewhat solid. The flavor truly hit the spot, and it has a very nostalgic taste that makes me think of something my mom used to give me when I was younger. If they have added coconut milk, it will be excellent.
It was a nice lunch, the food was good, there was some troubleshooting, but it was resolved, and I would most certainly return.
I have very mixed feelings about my recent experience. On one hand, food was full of flavor and somewhat exceeded my expectations, but on the other hand, what I received was not worth the money I paid. So I ordered red carry and as I mentioned, it was really tasty and full of flavor with heat right on the spot (created a nice tingle but was not overpowering the dish) but there was almost no meat in it (paid extra $1 for beef). There were 5 thin - 1.5" by 1.5" of beef - no more than 2 - 2.5oz of meat, and for a meal - that's just not enough protein. Also, for a big bowl of curry "soup" I only received very small container of rice. I love the flavor but if I'm spening almost $15 on a meal and walk away hungry, that's just not going to cut it...
My 1st time here I spent 70 bucks plus tip even b4 eating. I asked the clerk 4 a tea while I wait for my order to get ready(20 mins) She couldn't even throw it in on the house. I tipped 10 bucks on top of 70 dollars. I'm big on manners; Whether the food is good or not I'll never return here! I've never been to a Thai restaurant that doesn't offer you at least free glass of water. Smh.
The decor is relaxing and cheery. They have two beautiful saltwater fish tanks. One about 150 gallon and one about 20 gallons.
That's the good part. Now comes the food. I had lunch there..I had soup, spring roll and entree. Soup... Far too much lemongrass. It had a odd flavor. Doing roll... Fantastic! Great flavor and texture. The entree... Curry chicken rice. Extremely oily, low on flavor and VERY little chicken. Worst I've ever had honestly.
Turned away 38 minutes prior to close, as a repeat customer, because the kitchen was closing. But somehow was offered the ability to order to go? The food comes out in 10 minutes. Not exactly sure the psychology behind this embarrassing customer service. Just lost loyal customers.
Delicious food!

I’ve ordered a couple of times and have enjoyed it!
Chicken pad Thai was good, and their Five Star chicken is DELICIOUS but the portion is on the smaller side.
Great food and great service
i had the chicken satay which was delicious, and the pad ce ew - which, while good, i didn't really care for it. All in all, it was a delightful discovery and while i was munching away at my satay there was a never ending stream of people coming to pick up their nosh for the evening. A restaurant is not one dish and i will come back and try another of their lovely meals. i am going to go for their red curry next time.
Great quick lunch. Panang Curry was delicious. People were so sweet & nice.
Really good food! Been looking for some decent pad see ew and found this place close by. Nice staff and clean restaurant. Need to come back.
It use to be very good restaurant but today I went with my wife and it was huge disappointment
Ether is new owner or new cook chef but food was disgusting
Tom yum seafood not eatable
Beef salad use to be excelent but today not for eaten. Looked like old and not fresh
And at the end but not last Kung Pao Beef
That was something what is even hard to describe
I was long time customer at this place but not any more
This place is worst than you can imagine
NOT RECOMMEND
Tastes just like all the food I had in Thailand!

Do yourself a favor and go here immediately! If I could leave 6 stars I would. This place is a hidden gem. The tum yum soup is to die for, egg rolls are great, Pad Thai is awesome!

Rude driver didn't deliver combination platter, one of 3 dishes I ordered. One star for unprofessional driver and restaurant staff
New owners can’t tell time. Shows closing at 8pm. Stopped at 745pm to order takeout. Doors locked. Called. They said we’re closed. Bye. And hung up.
Right from the begining everyone is super friendly. What I love most is that they bring you a little appetizer for FREE. A little soup and small eggroll. Both are delicious also. And in general the food is really good too. I have tried the pad tai and drunken noodles. I would go back for both.
If you like Thai food it is wonderful place
So P.T. is a nice little shop with basic service. Only two servers during peak lunch times can make quick stops frustrating but if you can wait it's good. Main food items are good and quantity is enough for a lunch time special. Water is from the tap and not so good. So; you may elect to have something else. Come products. Smoothies are ok, but again, due to only two servers, comes out a little late. (But the mango smoothie tasted good) fair value for amount off food and overall quality.
Love the Basil Fried Rice with Shrimp. The best! They will customize it any way you desire. Very friendly and clean restaurant. I visit at least twice a week minimal and order the same dish, I customized it to my taste, e.g. adding green and red peppers, green onions, and extra shrimp. At extra cost, of course. They spoil me! I love Pad Thai, and highly recommend it! Try it, their food is delicious.
You won't be disappointed. Thank you!
We thoroughly enjoyed our Spicy Basil dishes.
Disappointed in the service as multiple tables who ordered after ours received their food and bill before the host told they haven’t entered our order yet. Perhaps having more than one waiter/waitress during lunch hours would benefit this place. I don’t even remember if the food was good or not
We ordered for pick up, usually food is great, not this time ! Chicken skewers were dry and hard, peanut sauce very dark, pad Thai dark and salty very disappointing !
Needs a good remodeling but food was great
Great lunch deals. Food used to be great. Lately I've been noticing the flavor is not what it used to be.
The food took forever to cook. We had a guy eating who was very loud. My food cane after the other people who after me. Hmmm
Great place! Hot, fresh and delicious! Sticy rice with mangoes was terrific!
Excellent food and service. We chose to Dine in for dinner and were very satisfied with the food.
Absolutely the worse service ever, they used to be good, I don’t know what happen to them. Called in for a take out for lunch - called 1 time answered and hanged up and then called 2nd time - answered took my order. When I get there advise they didn’t take my order, saying no one take my order. So I must be talking to a ghost. So disappointed. So I asked to order it there and they said wait is 45 min for 1 noodle. So meaning they just don’t want my business.
Some of the best Thai you’ll ever have.
Just ate here, the servers were amazing! The place is beautiful, food was good, and the owner is a very sweet person! Try this place you’ll like it!!
Delicious!
Really delicious! Great service- got the pad thai and tilapia and both were flavorful. Would def be back!
They forgot the rice for my curry dish 😭. So I had to cook myself rice when I got home and the rest of my family ate without me.
not recommend!!
Miss this restaurant a lot, awesome food and ambience. Drunken noodle and basil fried rice with ginger chicken were the best :), hope to visit sometime in the future
Went there for lunch pretty good experience, nice value for money
Excellent dumplings. Excellent Eggplant and Chicken.
I'm only giving it two stars. It is a great place, great food with bursting flavors. Great experience every time when they are open. Their business hours are so limited. I was there on a Friday night at 7:30 pm just to be turned away because the kitchen was closed.
I respect personal time. I can understand being closed Monday and or early hours Tuesday but on Friday, Saturday.
Check business hours before you go so you don't waste your time
I was so disappointed with the serving size that they gave me for my Beef Panang curry order. The dish only had like 6 very small cuts of beef and a few sliver slices of red bell pepper. The dish was priced at $12.00 and for almost the same cost I can get a buffet lunch at Cuisine of India just across this establishment. Unfortunately, they don’t have a buffet at the time I went to eat and it was a big mistake going to this place. In fairness, the panang curry sauce was good and very generous in portion size but i didn’t order a bowl of soup. I don’t normally write bad reviews of a place but I hope the owners would reconsider their portion size or at least make it up with other “cheaper” ingredients like mushrooms, etc.
Muy bueno para todo,muy recomendable.
Good place to get a quick meal. They have lunch specials and the service is pretty good. The vegetarian options though could do better than what they presently serve.
My favorite Thai restaurant. The Pad Thai with tofu is phenomenal. Since I tried it the first time 4 years or so ago, I have not tasted any Pad Thai that was anywhere as good as at this restaurant. Obviously, it’s a matter of opinion. Highly recommend.
Their lunch special is unbeatable and their food quality is amazing. Between $8.50-$9.50, you get a small bowl of Tom Yum soup, a small egg roll and your entree. We go here quite often for lunch once a week and this time, I decided to get the Panang noodle. Wow! It was soo good, it made me write a review. My coworkers usually get Curry fried rice. It's really good also. The Tom Yum noodle is ok. However, you guys have to try the Panang noodle!
Just love it. Mmm.
Fast service and food was good. I have tried pad thai noodles with veggies and it has sweet and sour test. I liked it very much.
The best food in the world i went at 8 and was so good. And the coustermer serve was so nice
The most amazing thai food around. I could drive 5 minutes to several different thai food spots around me, but I still chose to drive over 30 minutes to this place for my thai food. If you like strong flavored curry try the Kha Soi it is to die for
Today went there and order my food, clearly mentioned that I am vegan, no meat /meat product/no eggs etc, lady caMe with order and I told her there’s an egg in it, she told me that I never mentioned to her. I told her it’s OK. You can charge me but please don’t make new one and her response was shocking:
1. WhatEver
2. I don’t wanna listen anything.
When I mentioned to her was very respectful, but the way she told me whatever in front of 15 more dinner and also I don’t wanna listen anything makes me think that she must/they might not interested/taking care of their customers. Hope she will see this review and think twice before blast on their customers. If you don’t care for your customers, customers won’t care for you. God bless you and your family.
Very pretty girl working the counter. The pai Thai is good! And the tom yum soup is amazing.
This place has excellent Pad Thai.
Good authentic Thai food.
Great food. Great Service. Reasonably priced.
Visited more than 15 months later, and the veggie curry fried rice still tasted awesome, just like before. 👍👍
Good lunch. Food was delicious.
5 stars for the Jungle Curry.Take out.hot.
Tasty meals
Not a good place for eating and enjoying, ordered a food but they don’t put fork and napkins, when I ask them they put really bad quality forks which is you can’t really eat with that fork, I think they are very cheap people , they only look their income, but don’t wanna make a quality food, and fried rice is not really cooked well,it was couple times like that,I will stop coming here,, a lot of better places around thai food is good but not at this place
The food is great, I always order the Drunken noodles with chicken, it’s delicious. My only complaint is their hours, I feel like whenever I go to order they’re closed. I hope they expand their hours.
Amazing flavors in the drunken noodle dish, which is made with the wide rice noodles. Looking forward to going again! - and every opportunity I get I do pickup or dine in 👍
Excellent! Shared a combo platter for appetizers along with some Tom Yum soup, both were perfect and I especially enjoyed the addition of mushrooms to the soup. Beef pad thai for the main course, not as spicy as I expected, but not a problem at all because everything was delicious!
We pickup weekly on Wednesdays. Check hours they have a break between lunch and dinner. Can't miss Shrimp Shumai are decent sized with the shrimp on top. Papaya salad consistently fresh and 3 levels of spicyness. Eggplant lover with tofu has a good garlicky sauce that's our favorite. A gem hidden in your typical suburban strip mall.
Stay from this place, the food stinks and smells like spoiled, the owner is rude and has a very bad attitude, i will never go back there again..
This place has the freshest Thai food I’ve had. I’ve been to other restaurants and they don’t taste as fresh as this restaurant. I love the Hot Chili dish. The quality of the food is definitely good and well worth it.
We love the food here
5 stars for the 5 star chicken! Also had the pineapple fried rice with shrimp and it was delicious!!! Definitely ordering from here again!
Good portions and always fresh!
The drunken noodle was a little over cooked for me - burnt chicken and soggy noodles. but the massaman curry was great. Very quick delivery!
Best Pat Thai around and soup so good
Great service, and friendly people
Best Pad Thai I've had in years
I have lunch here twice a week, one of the few Thai places that I like, being from Thailand I'm a bit picky about Thai food.
It's excellent.
Best Pad Thai I have had in a while.
I had a bad experience with the food, it smelled and tasted moldy. I told the waitress and ordered something else. They still charged me for the bad dish and when I asked why they said they're foreign and don't do refunds. I asked if they had other suggestions, the waitress said to leave a bad review and not to come back. Prior to this experience, Pad Thai restaurant is usually pretty decent, I've stopped here for lunch occasionally for the past 5 years. I usually don't let one bad experience ruin future stops, but the waitress said "not to come back" so I'm taking her up on her suggestion.
I was at this place having lunch with a co-worker she was NOT pleased with the food she said it smelled SPOILED we had the server too come over and the server stated we didn't make a mistake with your food you should have took the time to find out what you want before you placed your order and you would have to pay for the food that taste spoiled and if you don't like the food DON"T COME BACK and we are NOT an American restaurant and we don't have the same policy!!! I couldn't believe it! This is the most rudest ignorant comment I ever heard !!
So yummy! Staff is gr8
This place is delicious. Best thai curry I've had in years, and the five star chicken is positively exquisite. Highly recommend.
Best Thai around
The soup was cold. Food Tasted Burnt. Had to ask twice for napkins. Had to waive them down to get their attention for water.
The two girl's were too busy talking to each other to acknowledge patrons.
This is when they were not busy At All.
Stafff's attitude SUCKED.
Best penang wide curry noodles
First time coming here, and the food wad delicious, the portions were excellent, and the banana in blanket was amazing. All the servers were amazingly polite and informative.
DELISH. had seafood yellow curry (asked for spicy, could’ve been spicer but very good) and ate every bite. Staff was friendly. Quick order to table. Highly recommend.
EXCELENTE AUNTENTIC
We loved their pad thai and fried rice.
Very rude. I came to this business to pick up a a catering order at 11am for an order that was placed several hours in advance and was scheduled for pickup at 10:50am and had been paid for in advance . I was greeted by owner saying “ It’s not ready, go sit down!” I asked if he had an estimate as to how long it would be he said “ go sit down, I cannot make the order and answer your question at the same time”. He was extremely rude without cause. Never again will I step foot into this establishment and don’t recommend it to anyone who cares about being respected in a place that they patronize.
My husband and I were in Chicago for 2 nights and went to Pad Thai Restaurant the first night and enjoyed it so much that we went back the next night. We had the shrimp shumai, steamed potstickers, cucumber salad, and split the green curry with beef. Second night we had potstickers and salads again and shrimp tempura appetizers and split the seafood curry. Sticky rice with mango for dessert. Everything was very yummy and well prepared. Highly recommend. Reasonable prices too.
It's awesome
I ordered to-go of a basil thai fried rice. The food is good and made exactly to the specification tht i mentioned. Definetly worth for a second time visit. The only downside is little bit pricy for me.
Good place to get some Thai food. Fast service ..and they have varieties. Crab Rangoon..I love that. Also their seafood combo is cool. Good friendly place to sit and eat in, friendly employee. Their rice menu is good, with large shrimp..all together a good place to get some Asian chops.
Great food. Inexpensive and fantastic quality
Great Thai!
Excellent quality and taste
I would give 0 star just nw gt kungpao chicken... it has no taste just utter salty.. boiled chicken... and padthai haa no flavour or taste just wasted my mine
Very tasty dishes. The lunch menu includes many favorites. Fast and friendly service. I'll have to go back for dinner sometime
Yummy food.. Simple and decent restaurant..
Great place for Thai food
Average menu selections. Courteous wait staff
Great food and service!!
Great thai food
Had the chu chee shrimp and curry fried rice - amazing.
Good food good service
Green noodle curry with tofu is fire. Pad thai tofu is the bomb
I've had Thai plenty of times and this place is on my top 3 for sure. I had the tofu Panang Curry and veggie egg rolls with Thai iced tea. Food and service was great. Pricing and quantity was perfect and the location wasn't too bad (convenient after I just flew in at Ohare airport). I recommend this place if you're up for some good Thai grub.
Great food and service.
9 m week k0. And th8en kho
Their pad thai is to die for!!!! A bit pricey but it goes to say you get what u pay for
First of all, You know you’re getting authentic Thai food, When you hear the workers speak Thai. Originally, I was going to get sushi but they were close so I went for Thai. When I saw the sign PAD THAI as simple it is.. this is the best authentic Thai restuarant in the area for affordable food. I ordered The pad kee mao (drunken noodle) the noodles are FRESH and thick. I’ve ordered drunken noodle plenty of times from different restaurants and most of them use the Dried Large Flat Wide noodles- it isn’t as tasty. It’s hard to find fresh Noodles at the resturants now these days. The noodles are AMAZING! It taste like home! The aroma of the dark soy sauce and pepper is perfectly balanced out with the basil! Great service as well!
The lunch special always tastes amazing and the portions fill me up well (and I’m 6’6” tall). The service is always excellent.

Very pretty restaurant, polite people, clean, food dangerously good. Nom nom
Reasonable price. I love this place dearly
Went here recently while on vacation and their food is delicious at a low price. If you want a nice dinner while on the road I would suggest coming here.
Everything was great. The traditional Thai Soup was great. The rest of the food was really good and the service was very professional and very attentive. Thank you. We will be back soon.
The Thai food here is delicious and the service friendly. The satay is the best we’ve had! The basil ground chicken is wonderfully flavorful. The kee mao shrimp noodles were delightful! Prices are reasonable. We will be back soon.
