Homemade Thai fare, including seafood & vegetarian options, at a petite eatery with a relaxed vibe.
Our Thai go-to! Will keep coming back to this place, even after moving out of the area. I always get chicken pad see ewe, Siam crab Rangoon, papaya salad and chicken satay and it never disappoints. We live in the city now and I have been looking for something that comes close to Sri Siam but itβs just the best. Service is ALWAYS 10/10, I cannot say anything bad about their staff. The prices are great too! Highly recommend!
I just came back from 2 weeks in Thailand and was craving authentic Thai food. Sri Siam was just that! Everything I ate was 10/10! I will definitely be going back!
Excellent food. This was my first time at this small local Thai restaurant. The service was good and the food was served hot and quickly. I had crispy egg rolls for an appetizer, cashew chicken, and tofu vegetables in clear broth as a soup. Everything was very authentic Thai food and I have eaten at very many Thai restaurants.
I wish I had thought to take pictures of the food before we ate it because not only was it AMAZING in taste but it was beautiful too.
The restaurant is fairly cozy, (maybe 10ish tables in total?) And a very relaxed atmosphere. The server we had is amazing & I honestly wish we lived closer si we could go more often.
Food was expensive no quality it was garbage
Many places serve Americanized Thai dishes. Sri Siam has authentic Thai food and uses true Holy Basil. This is the one place that when I say make it spicy, I almost regret my request. The staff is very friendly in this small restaurant. My second time here because I had to try it again. They also make a good Thai Iced Coffee.

I've been going to this restaurant for years very consistent and delicious
I had a business meeting and the service was very great. We enjoyed our mealook under what's that
This is where you go to for a more authentic region specific area of Thai food. Saapsaaplai!
Get the E-saan menu.

Very authentic Thai food with very fresh ingredients, well-seasoned, generous portions and reasonable prices. Will be our new choice for Thai food. Worth the drive.
Food was ok, there are better options nearby. Service was poor.
Very very good food
I had my food delivered so iβll just speak on the food. I had the green curry (spicy) & it came with white rice. I also ordered veggie rolls & peanut sauce. I put down a bed of rice & combined the peanut sauce with the green curry and poured it over the rice and let the rice soak up the flavors. So good & the rolls were addicting as well. 9.2/10
Best Thai restaurant in Chicago land area by far , there are many great eateries but we can't think of one better
Been here four times in the past and always enjoy the food and super nice staff. Place is very clean and it was nice to come here for Mothers Day today. Go a Large Tom Kha soup with Tofu for the vegetarian wife and daughter. Got the chicken satay, Mongolian Beef, Chicken Broccoli, and wife got the Tofu Pad Sie Ew. Desert had Mango sticky rice and Thai custard. I'm part Thai and this is one of the best Thai food places in the burbs. Seriously great fresh food.
I've been a customer for many years.
The food is very good and the servers are very nice and attentive.
From 10 March 2024:
Everything from my review of eight months prior holds true. This is our favorite Thai restaurant and especially so for dining in.
From eight months prior:
Moved out of and back into the area and was lucky enough to visit today. Great food and service. Its biggest book of business is takeout which makes eating in alone or with a small group quiet and relaxing.
The food was excellent and so was the service. I had the Chicken Basil with Rice was awesome.
Food was pretty good, but the curry was kind of watery not as rich and creamy as most places serve panang curry..... But still had a good flavor and the portion was generous.......
Ordered thai fried rice, which didn't have the authentic thai taste. Weared smell and texture. Tum yum soup was missing taste of lemon grass, galangal ingredient. Too watery.
I really did not want to try a new Thai place I have always gone to the city for some, but I took a chance on this place and it was amazing the price was very similar food tasted almost the same if not better.
Ordered delivery and only received one of two entrees. Never told the entree omitted would not be part of the order. Received the partial order and called to inquire. Ended up ringing for quite a while before answer and immediate hang up.
Looked at the receipt and we were NOT charged for the omitted entree, but was charged the tip twice... Opened up the egg rolls and they gave us the wrong type.
Food received was fair. Beef was not tenderized and very basic Thai. Vegetables were fresh. Flavor was ok. Nothing special food-wise. Obviously we will not order from here again. Too bad -- we like to order Thai and are interested in finding a go to Thai option in Morton Grove. This is not it.
I love this place!! The owners are so sweet and kind and the food is delicious!! The customer sitting next to us was talking about how much she loves this place and how the prices are so much better than any other Thai restaurant in that area! I recommend this place 100%ππ
Rude staff
Absolutely delicious.
Such an amazing place! Very kind staff, very tasty food, and the atmosphere is so amazing - it is so cozy and relaxing.
We have tried many Thai restaurants in the area and this place is hands down the best. The food was incredible. Their Panang Curry is phonemenal. The people who work there are so kind and it was a wonderful dinner experience. It's not fancy but the food will keep you coming back.
Food is solid. Great, reasonably priced lunch special that comes with soup, salad, and an entree.
Hidden gem of a place! Waiter was very helpful and offered great service. Spice was on point! Will come back again!
Normally solid spot for quick Thai takeout for me on weekends. Swung by on Wednesday and the food did not seem fresh in my Pad See Yew, something was off. Maybe the B team cooking? Not sure. Iβll probably be back, since Iβm in the neighborhood, but may head to La Thai next time.
Stir fry hell. Try it. You won't regret it.
Good food and good service.
This place was fair staus I have eaten in better Thai places than this but I had the coconut Thai lemon π grass soup which was delicious the spring rolls was good just the peanut sauce didn't agree with me but I gave my rate nice staff and my food was prepared in a timely fashion no worries there

Amazing Thai and freshness multiple degrees better than other Thai places around, appreciate you guys! βΊοΈβ€οΈ
Best Thai restaurant in the area!! The massaman curry and chive dumplings are a favorite in our house.
I have been here 4 times and the food is delicious.
Sri Siam is easily our favorite thai spot in the area. My husband and I order at least once a week, and the food is consistently phenomenal every time. Staff is always pleasant and on top of everything. Highly recommend!!!
The food was excellent!! The appetizer platter, chicken basil fried rice and tom kha soup was delicious. Pad Thai was not my favorite but i would still recommend this place.
Great food; unreasonably long wait.
I have been coming here for many years. I'm a vegetarian so I get everything with tofu. I have enjoyed several of their noodle dishes, and their red & green curry. I love the chive dumplings for appetizers, and I cannot go without a Thai iced coffee. They are so kind, and the food is great. What's not to love?
Delicious! Originally ordered here because they are in the United Dining portal (you can get miles). They have become my go-to now. Flavors are amazing, veggies are fresh. My local joint has been getting worse and worse over the years. Fast delivery and prices are reasonable compared to other Thai in the area.
If it was possible I would leave zero stars. One star is too good for the meal that I had here.
The best part of the meal was the dipping sauce for the crab rangoon.
The drunken noodles that I ordered lacked pork and noodles for that matter. It was however loaded with vegetables that were severely undercooked (particularly heavy on the crunchy undercooked carrots). The proportions between noodles, vegetables, and pork were not equal. The thai noodle dish resembled more of a vegetable stir-fry with some meat and sad broken noodles tossed in as an afterthought.
The drunken noodles severely lacked in flavor. I'm clueless how this restaurant has such good reviews.
I've traveled several times to Thailand and always order this because it's the type of dish that you can find anywhere and it will always be good. This was not authentic Thai food. I'm sure this restaurant only thrives because it caters to the old white people that prefer their "authentic" Thai food (pad thai) to taste bland like cardboard.
Love the food definitely be going there and dance I recommend it to other people also.
I dine here with my brother. Great food as always.
Sushi for client
Great place.
Authentic Thai food, good service, good prices. I had nomsad one of my favorites. This was the best I have ever had.
I love the food at this restaurant. Authentic Thai food; fresh and flavorful. Good value, excellent service.
Great food
Nice people
Great food. Fast Service.
I will never going to order from this restaurant on their website pictures look good then when you order nothing looks like the picture I order pa sie ewaee and chicken wings all burn all I got was just the burn dump no wings! My pa sie ewaee supposed to have chino broccoli instead they use regular broccoli π₯¦ my first and last I donβt highly recommend this place
I order a Curry fried rice but I got pineapple fried rice
Excellent service and love the food
Solid take out Thai food. A few tables inside. Would definitely eat from again.
add 15 minutes for the pick up time. 3rd occurrence. Good is awesome though.
First time there. Food is good but a bit pricey.
Got red curry and basil fried rice. Best ever thai food I have tasted in Chicago . Highly recommended.
Ordered for the first time in a long time and it was terrible. The chicken Panang tasted more like a soup. It was watery and barely tasted the flavors. The only good was, they added lots of chicken. Very disappointing though. I was looking forward to a thick very tasty meal. The pad se ew was not the greatest. It was average and bland. Not very flavorful!
Great food and reasonable prices. Will definitely go back.
Food is yummy and good service
I went with my family and I had tom yum soup and a catfish dish there. I liked the taste of the dishes.
This place is amazing!! Itβs our go-to take out place. So consistent. Weβve been happy with everything we have tried!
Amazing Food! Visited twice and to my surprise same taste ...of the food we ordered. Very consistent... flavors. Shall visit again!
Tastes good, but I think it is kind of on the sweet side (to much sugar) and there seems to be msg, because it gives me this lightheaded brain fog and a slight headache afterwards. They seem to use glued chicken from frozen bags and not actual cuts of chicken.
My tofu pad thai was kind of... Soupy?? Id be willing to come back and try other dishes, but definitely not a good start
Ordered spicy sea food combo, Pad woonsen with chicken, and Masaman Curry with beef. Everything was tasty and freshly made. Recommend this place to all Thai Food Lovers!
Best pad thai around
Good food and prices
This place is sooo freaking good. We just ordered tonight for the first time, everything was super fresh and jam packed with flavor. We had the papaya salad (no fish sauce), pineapple fried rice, massaman curry, pad kee mao, golden bags, the taro custard and a mango sticky rice. If I didnβt pick up my phone to write this Iβd keep eating and likely rupture my stomach from not being able to stop. Canβt wait to order again, these chefs are seriously talented.
Our go-to Thai spot!
Every dish I've ordered keeps becoming my new favorite. You can't go wrong when ordering from Sri Siam Thai Restaurant. They know what they're doing & it shows with all their amazing dishes. Do yourself a favor & order in from them.
Delicious curries. Enjoy the chive dumplings!
π
This was my first trip here and wont be my last. The food was good and the prices more than fair. Our identical order compared to another area thai was 45.00 less (it was a good size order but not huge) the staff was courteous and the food good. It was super hot at the stated pickup time.
Great food and service, love it!
Food was ok. Felt pretty uncomfortable with a bunch of kids running around with no masks on. Also blasting kids videos on the tv was quite unpleasant. True story, when I left and went to my car, I saw through the window one of the kids run to my table and drink out of the straws I had been using! This is supposed to be a restaurant, not a day care. If you gotta bring your kids to work dont let them use the dining room as a playground!
You need to try the baby egg rolls, they are so good!
One of my favorite neighborhood restaurants! Perfect for carry-out, because they have generous portions, their food is always super fresh and flavorful, and staff is always kind and accommodating!
Ordered food for delivery in advance. Was very late with poor communication. And for was cold when it arrived. Not worth the time or money.
I love this place. Their pad Thai is amazing and their Thai iced coffee is delicious.
I ordered from this restaurant for the first time and I was very disappointed in the food quality. The two curries I ordered were completely bland and the gravy(coconut milk) was completely watery almost as if they put plain water instead. Usually the gravy's are more thick. I have been to some of the best thai restaurants all over the world but I am sorry this one has disappointed.
Ordered takeout. They were prompt and the food tasted so amazing! We got a cashew/pineapple entre and a duck curry that took as right back to thailand.
They screwed up my Door Dash order causing a 2 hr. delay. Terrible!
Ordered delivery during the shelter in place order. Food arrived hot. Ingredients are always very fresh. Delightful owners. Really recommend this place.
Good food
Great value, wide selection and consistently delicious results every time. From Tom Kha soup to specials, it's all good. Great take out and always ready when promised.
Delicious, well priced, and great service.
This place is a fantastic little "hole-in-the-wall" hidden gem! The food tastes great and the price is right! Definitely coming back here.
Love their fried rice dishes. I usually get the spicy basil with ground chicken . Small portions but delicious!
I have tried couple other meals and no complaints at all. Thanks for being authentic.
Green curry and fried rice is basic food in Thai. Green curry is watery and fried rice is tasteless.overall its ok.
Deliciously perfect!!!π
Small place, nothing fancy, great food, generous serving, reasonably priced.
Great and authentic Thai food
NICE CLEAN DINING PLACE. REASONABLE PRICE. EXCELLENT FIVE STARES SERVICE.
Perhaps one of the best Thai place, for sure in North suburbs, but I'd say even in the Chicago area. I took my friends from the city to this place and all of them said they haven't had this good a Thai food anywhere in Chicago. Quite close to authentic. All Thai curries are amazing. The entrees are quite delicious. One of the starters with peanut sauce is mouth watering. Overall I'd recommend a must visit if you're in the area and in the mood for Thai. The quantities are quite good. Some of the options could be spicy so don't forget to mention the spice level while ordering.
Excellent thai food! Pad thai is really good and beef thai fried rice is excellent!
When traveling ( from SE Arizona) I love to seek out and try the local fare. I ordered to go: the food was really hot, fresh and very good. I came by after the supper rush, so my wait was short. Nicely priced too.
Good place to eat
Very tasty fresh food and calm atmosphere
Good lunch special
rotten veg in curry dish
Preferred the smaller size chunks of meat, very flavorful and on the spicy side. My sister said it was the best flavor Thai food sheβs had.
Clean, friendly little hole-in-the-wall with the best Thai food in the area.
Great Thai food, love the pad Thai and the curry fried rice.
Great food and service :))
Slow service . Food is good.
Sri Siam caught my eye while heading to work one afternoon. A big shout out to Sarah S, who's review prompted my interest on visiting after looking it up on Yelp. Typically I go to the Subway which sits a few stores down, however today I wanted to try a different restaurant, which just so happen to be Sri Siam. Pre my initial visit I had dropped in a week prior, but they were closed, which led to me anticipating even more. Sri Siam struck me as a peaceful little Thai restaurant during my initial in-store visit because it was not crowded whatsoever.
Prior to ordering I was amazed at what their menu consisted of. What caught my attention initially was the Sweet & Sour Catfish, which I will most definitely try on a later date. As for my order I kept it simple and ordered the Satay, which consisted of grilled slices of marinated chicken tenderloin served on bamboo skewers with peanut butter sauce and cucumber salad. I also ordered a Saucy Cake, which is a chocolate brownie cake. I was a little hesitant on eating the slices of marinated chicken tenderloin with peanut dipping sauce, but overall it was pretty good as well as the Saucy Cake.
My overall goal was just to check Sri Siam out with no intentions of ordering a major dish, but I hope to try something a little more filling during my next visit which will be very soon due to Sri Siam being near where I work. I highly recommend, and hope this review assist you in any way. Enjoy!

I made to go. Egg rolls and dumplings are burn.
The food was tasty and good. We had some tofu dishes and noodles.
Pad mee koo, might be miss spelled. Super spicy, like actually spicy hot. Like an other reviewer said, this one of those hole-in-the-wall type places.
Best Tom Yom soup. What more do you need to describe a good thai restaurant. We had 4 different dishes including traditional pad thai. All were fresh and excellent.
This is such a great find - a hole-in-the-wall Thai restaurant in a suburban strip mall. My son had the pad thai which uniformly excellent. I had the spicy basil duck which was also perfect. Great Thai iced coffee as well.
Service was fast and polite, reasonably priced, and the food was great!
I ordered online. Didn't want to cook. Pad see ewe with extra chicken. I had to tip in advance on a tiny 1 person pickup order. Options were 15, 20 and 30%. You have to pick one or it will not proceed. I left a note asking to notify when order is ready - I like my hot meals hot. 45 minutes later still no notification I drive there. Food is ready and getting cold. When I asked why the answer was "you have your food l, right". I drive home. No souce, no napkins, a plastic fork was included there. Plenty of noodles, some vegetables (chopped with an axe - broccoli had 1.5-2 inch branches) and about 1.5 ounce of chicken. That's extra chicken. I wonder how much chicken is without, but I'm not going to check. I'm not ordering there again.
Delicious food. Great service.
Amazing service and food as always. Customer for life.
Wow this place is awsome. I asked for cashew chicken without rice and get salad on the side...waiter catered to my request without any attitude. Now the food is flavorful and with the just the right amount of spices. You will not be disappointed.
The food was so delicious! Plenty of vegan options. I wish we would have realized it's BYOB but there is a liquor store in the same strip mall. The atmosphere is not beautiful or up to date, but it's clean enough and the food was worth it. Friendly service but no kids menu. The main dishes were very hot when served, the salad was fresh & crisp. Highly recommend the Papaya salad. We'll be back but probably for carryout.
The food was great! The green curry was just the right amount of spicyness.
The foodβs great!
Great Thai food.. Staff is friendly. They are fast too.
