This is definitely the best Thai food in elmhurst.

Diner Review №2

Ordered online from their website and the order was canceled 45 minutes later. They aren't picking up the phone so I can't talk to anyone (they are listed as open and their own website allowed me to order). Wasted my time and they actually charged my card.

Diner Review №3

Not the same today. The egg rolls were cold. Pad Kee Mao with extra beef had very little meat and next to no veggies. The Panang Chicken was less than flavorful. The shumai and crab Rangoon were as good as always. I fear they've changed owners.

Here's my review when they were at the top of their game.
Friendly service and super clean restaurant. Excellent Crab Rangoon, Panang Curry, Pad Ke Maw, and Satay Chicken. They never disappoint!

Diner Review №4

Great Asian for burbs

Diner Review №5

We ordered food on line and picked up food from the restaurant. Person at the counter told us that we are at wrong place and need to go to Indian Restaurant next door. After telling him the order number he finally gave us the order. When we reached home and opened the meals, most of the items were wrong. We immediately contacted the restaurant and they told us that the Kitchen is closed and there is nothing they can do. We were forced to eat the items we did not order. Taste was awful and we had to throw the meal away. They refused to refund the money. We have been eating at this place for long time and food earlier was great. Looks like the ownership has changed and they do not know how to cook. Please stay away from this place.

Diner Review №6

I’ve been there for a shrimp pad Thai to take away and I paid more than 20$.
How’s that??

Diner Review №7

New review... they need to bring back lunch specials...

Diner Review №8

Really nice and small place for some good Thai food in the Elmhurst area. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Diner Review №9

My coworkers and I have been coming to this spot for nearly 4 years due to a project that is nearby. The owner Jenny was always a great host, but we have not seen her lately. Sadly, the restaurant has been through a lot of change. The lunch special deal we would always come for is gone and the indoor seating has been eliminated. Now there are about 3 tables in a very small room that can barely seat maybe 10 people, which shows the intent to be more focused on takeout/ delivery. The food is still tasty, but the portions have cut down as well. It is sad to see what the restaurant used to be and what it is now. We all wish the best for Nathan's Noodles.

Diner Review №10

My love for Thai food had we visited Nathan’s Noodles and I had to say the food was great. Only tried two entrees but they were well seasoned for my taste buds. Owner is friendly and seems very generous person. When I’m in town will keep visiting and try more items on the menu!!!!

Diner Review №11

The food is always fresh. Good flavor and fast service.

Diner Review №12

Super yummy

Diner Review №13

One of the best Thai curry joints around! Excellent stir-fry and noodle dishes as well, and very reasonably priced.

Support locally owned restaurants!

Diner Review №14

Hands down best curry I’ve had in the area, and I’ve had ‘em all. I’ve recommended this place to anyone that’d listen, and people always agree - delicious. Kindest staff, good, good people. Try the panang curry.

Diner Review №15

Was delicious, hot and fast.

Diner Review №16

It's really delicious, my kids love it, and it's healthy and, worker are nice the food is good but small portion and pricey.

Diner Review №17

I really wanted to love this place because I really love Thai food but unfortunately it’s a no for me. We had Singapore noodles, shrimp pad Thai and basil fried rice delivered. First mistake. Food was cold! Basil Rice was gummy, I’m bad at rice but mine is better. I also had to cut up the vegetables which were huge slices of green pepper, onions and bamboo shoots. That’s just laziness. The pad thai was dry, like really dry. Couldn’t even eat it. Singapore noodles were the best of the three but only average and slightly dry as well. Overall, Nothing had an authentic Thai flavor. We’ve been to Asia about 5 times and have eaten Thai food all over the city. This place is among the worse. Sorry to be so brutally honest but it’s a real review. I will give you credit for the shrimp. Very large. I always search for the positives.

Diner Review №18

My wife and I went there for a quick lunch. I had red curry w chicken and she had a veggie noodle dish... Delicious... Let me say delicious, again... I need to go back and try some more dishes...

Diner Review №19

I’ve been here many times and have been happy with their food.

Unfortunately I went outside my comfort zone and ordered something new. I got the Mongolian beef to go and fried rice. She asked me if I wanted meat on my rice. I asked if there was an extra charge and she said no.

I got my food and went home. I opened up the Mongolian beef and saw that the container was half full. Then I looked at the receipt and it looks like she charged me an extra four dollars for the meat on my fried rice.

Unfortunately, I won’t be going back there.

Diner Review №20

This place is amazing! The most authentic Thai flavor you can get outside of Bangkok! There were a variety of different dishes to choose from and portion sizes were pretty large. I would recommend the hot and spicy stir fry dish with chicken. The owners were so sweet and even gave my son some extra snacks before leaving. Will definitely add this place to our regular rotation. 10/10 would recommend!

Diner Review №23

I have been going here since its previous owner. And since the new people took over things including quality and service have gone down hill. Closed when their signage on building says they are open as well as online but door locked and no one answers. Or closing randomly like this evening their hours online stated they were still open for another 1.5hrs. I called to place order someone picked up I heard background noise but no one would answer me then after 10-15seconds person hung up. Called back 2 more times before someone answered and when I started to order they said they were super busy and had to close early. Then he said no more food and hung up. Like who does business like this. If you need to close early ok there are better ways to let customers know. I think. I just need to find a different place

Diner Review №24

Blink your eyes and you will miss it. The sign on their location is tiny, not lit at night and has tiny letters.
Sad because their food is fantastic! Prices are average for 2024. Service was ok. Atmosphere is cute and festive. They just repainted with very uplifting vivid colors and did some reorganizing. Makes a big difference! Now if they get the owner of the building to install a REAL exterior sign so people can see it from the street they will really be set. The food is great and a large serving size for dine-in. Female owner is very nice and accommodating.

Diner Review №25

Best Thai in Elmhurst! Never fails. Fresh and delicious food every time! Family owned by the nicest people ever. Don’t forget the Super Comm, amazing appetizer sampler. We order here weekly.

Diner Review №26

The atmosphere is old school Thai restaurant , with framed travel posters and Christmas decorations. I enjoy that kind of atmosphere in a Thai restaurant because it helps me feel like I’m getting the real article- I am not into a place that looks super fancy and serves small portions that have a lot of sugar in them. Thai food here was ample and spicy! Nathan’s Noodles serves authentic Thai food- all of the classics- and has been around a while in Elmhurst. Most of the customers order take out and don’t dine in, but they may have just been the time we were there. There was a steady stream of customers and delivery drivers picking up orders, so that’s always a good thing! The food was delicious and the portions were large. The service was great.

The food and service has always been consistently good. It’s an outdated place and probably wouldn’t dine in, but great for takeout

Diner Review №35

Diner Review №36

Excellent Pad Thai shrimp 🦐 were big

Diner Review №37

Went there for lunch on a Thursday with 2 friends Portions were kind of small (not like I'm a big person) I don't need a lot to eat but I could have eaten more if the portions were bigger And the Spring rolls was as big as my middle finger But if I wanna go back for a small lunch I'll go

Diner Review №38

Very friendly staff. Good variety..

Diner Review №39

Smaller portions for more $$.

Used to be good, now not worth it.

Diner Review №41

This place was recommended by a co worker. Being a traveler around the country and the world .I was extremely impressed. The food was hot and timely brought out. Amazing enough. You can see that this establishment takes their food seriously. Even for takeout. The Chef considers detail . The way its displayed. The owners care about their product. I orderd Nathan's rolls and Pas thai with bbq pork.Stuff was awrsome. Not 5 stars becauae thats a different echelon.

Diner Review №42

This was my second time back within the week (no shame). I ordered the vegan egg rolls and ginger sauce stir fry and my husband ordered the beef fried rice. Both of us agree their food is great quality and perfect portions where you don’t have mounds of uneaten food leftover. Give a lot of love to this local spot. Opened in 2019 right before the pandemic and still strong!! Jenni and Shawn are great owners with a great attitude. I’ll be coming back…soon. :)

Diner Review №46

Great food to worldwide standards!

Diner Review №47

Best Thai outside Thailand. Tom ka kai and Padthai are unreal

Diner Review №48

Normally good but today the shrimp was rubbery and honestly I’m still hungry. Such a small portion for the price.

Diner Review №49

Love this place. BEST panang curry. Seriously- it’s amazing. Lovely family and great service too!

Diner Review №50

Really good food

Diner Review №51

Diner Review №52

Diner Review №53

Very good and tasty, was out this way on lunch from Chicagoland area and I love Pad Thai food do I had to try and I'm definitely not disappointed!!!

Diner Review №54

Love this place! I live close by and it’s my go! The panang curry is one of my many faves. Definitely stop by and give this place a try!

Diner Review №55

Great place to eat for all your Thai Food cravings.

Diner Review №56

My favorite Pad Thai!

Diner Review №57

Diner Review №58

Ive ordered here several times and everytime i enjoy my food. The food is excellent, my only complaint is that the price doesnt warrant the portions. The portion size seems a bit small in my opinion. Otherwise great food and good service.

Diner Review №59

My favorite Thai place. I enjoy eating here 2-3 times per month. Friendly staff are often the highlight of my week. The Tom Yum and Panang curry are both fantastic.

Diner Review №60

Always very good Thai!

Diner Review №61

The Best food 😋😋

Diner Review №62

I had been this thai restaurant so many times. The foods it very good. Very times i have the party I all way order thai foods all my friends love it.i try every thing in the nenu it delicious.and the people very nice the service it fast. I love this place alot.it my favorite thai restaurant

Diner Review №63

Not good. The portions are small for the price and my "chicken" pad see ew didn't have a single piece of actual chicken in it. Literally not one. The egg drop soup is $7 for a small container. We will stick with Bamboo Thai instead, this just wasn't worth the price.

Diner Review №66

This is my favorite Thai place in the area. The curry noodles are outstanding! You will not be disappointed.

Diner Review №67

Diner Review №68

Simply perfect and delicious.
This place and this Tom Yum soup are a must, if you come to the Chicago area! Thanks for the great taste and service.

Diner Review №69

Every dish we got here tasted great, and the service was fast and very good. Staff went out of their way to hold the door for us when we were leaving and stayed out in the rain to help my grandmother off of the side walk and to our car.

Diner Review №70

I had lunch here yesterday around 1:30. I had the whole restaurant to myself. Service was quick and nice. I had the chicken red curry lunch special. It had a generous portion of vegetables and perhaps a little less chicken than I’ve had at other Thai restaurants with their curries. I would say that the extra veggies took up the room normally occupied by more meat. I was satisfied with the portions of meat and vegetables and the curry was delicious! Jasmine rice was good and I liked the spice level of the curry. I wouldn’t call it hot or bland. As I was the only person in the restaurant the music was a bit loud, but would have likely been at a reasonable level to drown out other guests had there been more people there. I will return again and recommend this place for others. I rank it as a good restaurant, but not outstanding/must have/can’t miss level. I’d go 4.5 stars if it was an option.

Diner Review №73

Next time if an order is going to take 50 minutes to be ready, don't tell me it's only going to be 10 minutes. I was very dissatisfied in the time frame

Diner Review №74

I dont how how this restaurant got good reviews but I had too much vegetables in my Garlic Chicken dish., not enough meat and flavor seemed bland as well. Wasnt as tasty as I expected.

Diner Review №75

Diner Review №76

Came in on a recommendation of a friend and I have to say that’s the Thai Boat noodle is fantastic. The guys in there are nice and friendly. I will be back when I’m in town :)

Diner Review №77

Delicious!

Diner Review №78

I didn't expect much from this place due to its name, but wow it impresses and satisfies. All the dishes we have tried have been excellent. Portion size is okay but competative for the price and flavor.

Diner Review №79

Very good food. Highly recommend it.

Diner Review №80

Glad the hours are back during the day! The restaurant looks better now they are under new management. The Tom Kha soup was fantastic, on the other hand they changed the Garlic Noodle recipe the old one was way better I did not care for the new one at all! Also a bit disappointed they no longer have bubble tea

Diner Review №81

Always a great experience and great food. Kitty the owner is nice and always there. When I worked in the area I ate here 1x a week.

Diner Review №82

Looks like the administration/owner changed. Not as good as it was a few months ago...
Sorry for saying this.
Costumer service is excellent though. This part is great, so am considering 4 stars. Ols style file needs to get back...

Diner Review №83

Diner Review №84

I really love this restaurant. Good music, good food! I had pad see iew, pad thai as main dish. Crab ragoon for appertizer. All of that is soo good. The roast duck is great too

Diner Review №85

I have Crab Rangoon for appetizer and Stirfried noodle Pad See Eiw. As a Vietnamese who had Thai food several times before , I highly recommend this restaurant. The flavor of the food is so awesome!

Diner Review №86

Nathan's Noodles is a favorite go-to. I love their green curry and my boyfriend loves their panang curry. Their crab rangoon are amazing as well! Quality everytime and friendly customer service! New owners are definitely doing something right!

Diner Review №89

I’ve been going to this place a few years now. They just recently started doing delivery through a third party. Food is still great and delivery fee is only $2.50 through seamless, better than grub hub delivery. It was freezing today so my coworker and I ordered soup. It cake fresh and still hot. I recommend trying it out if you enjoy Thai food or delicious food in general. I’m Thai and I have to say it’s one of the best in the area.

Diner Review №90

I have lived in the area for years and cannot believe I haven't eaten here before.
Food was fantastic, service was excellent. I will definitely be back.
Just a heads up, I had the red curry, and asked for it mild with the intention of adding some chili paste at the table. The mild was actually a little spicy. Not over the top though.

Diner Review №91

Delicious food.

Diner Review №92

Delecious! Great food and quick. Quiet little place to eat on a Saturday afternoon. Staff was very friendly and they gave us free crab Rangoon (which was delicious as well!)

Will absolutely be back.

Diner Review №93

Are they finally open again?

Diner Review №94

Terrible customer service and hours. At some point I would consider closing shop if I were the owners.

Diner Review №95

Friendly staff, great food!

Diner Review №98

Food is good. Delivery not so much. They pack the liquids on top and use paper containers on the bottom for noodle dishes. When paper gets wet it collapses.the soup had no liquid and the peepers beef dish was mostly in the bag
