Food was so so good!!! Innovative takes to classic cuisine. Loved it all. I came in on a whim and was greeted with such hospitality. The owner Eric was super welcoming and really had pride in his menu and concept. And the menu was surprisingly affordable given the location! I’m such a fan and I’ll definitely be supporting more!
If you’re a fan of bold, complex flavors, this dish lineup is a must-try! The fried tako (octopus) is perfectly crispy on the outside, while remaining tender and flavorful on the inside. It’s paired with a hint of cheese that adds a savory richness without overpowering the delicate seafood.
Next up, the Thai iced tea is a true standout. Sweet, creamy, and aromatic, it’s the perfect refreshing counterpoint to the spiciness in the other dishes.
The crab curry is another highlight—luxuriously rich and packed with tender crab meat, it’s a beautifully balanced dish with a punch of heat and depth from the aromatic Thai spices. The curry sauce is thick, flavorful, and completely satisfying.
To finish, the Thai tea mousse cake brings the meal to a sweet, indulgent end. The layers are light and airy, yet full of that unmistakable Thai iced tea flavor. It’s a perfect balance of sweetness, creaminess, and a subtle hint of tea that lingers long after the last bite.
Overall, each dish brings something special to the table, offering a perfect blend of textures, tastes, and spices that make for an unforgettable culinary experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking to indulge in a fusion of Thai flavors done to perfection!

The Service is really phenomenal to the point of exceeding your expectations as well as warmth welcome to CoffeeLab door. I recommend you the Samila Thai cuisine from light snack, hot soups, Asian burgers n even to the scrumptious desserts
Really good quality food and a generous amount for the price! I love their rotating menu. Both Seng and Eric are amazing owners, super hospitable and wittingly humorous. I have to say, THE BEST homemade Siomai I've had in YEARS. I get their siomai (in addition to other stuff) every day they do their pop up in Coffee Lab Evanston.
Got takeout from the pop-up in Evanston’s Coffee Lab. Really authentic southern Thai cuisine that is hard to get in this area. You can ask for Thai spicy if you lean towards hotter tastes :-)
Had the opportunity to try the food at the Coffee Lab pop-up. Wonderful food and friendly atmosphere! The mango sticky rice trio was absolutely divine.
The takoyaki squid rangoons were excellent and an innovative idea. I love their Sunday evening half-price deals; I loved the service and warm friendly staffZbkss
My Uber eats driver was there and told my food was stolen. No way, it was at 9:45pm and they could not even take care of that order?? Got me wait for 1 hr. If they couldn’t make anymore don’t accept the order. Ridiculous.
First time order and will never return! 😡
