Are you going to open back up? Great Food spot!

Diner Review №3

The food does not taste at all Thai. Mind you the cook is from sub Indian continent. When I asked for chop sticks the manager handed me a spoon for the Pad Thai.

Diner Review №4

Everything is made fresh, which can lead to longer wait times but it's worth it for the food. Staff is very friendly, they remember returning customers and their orders.

Ordered the massaman curry entree with chicken gyoza. The curry came with no potatoes, which was a bummer considering it’s so staple to the dish - just chicken and onions. The curry was very watery, and the flavor was okay - not spicy at all. The side of white rice looked and smelled like it had been scraped from the bottom of a burnt pan. There were black bits everywhere in the rice, so I ended up not eating more than a spoonful. I also found a small piece of egg? in the rice… weird? The chicken gyoza were pretty crispy but there’s as much dough as there is filling. I also think I got charged the full price for the gyoza ($6.50) even though the signage says that you can add an appetizer to your meal for $4.50. Unfortunately I don’t think the food was worth the price.

Came one Friday around 12nn and place is not so busy but also not empty. I love that you can order in advance for pickup but also they have a combo rice bowl with 2 protein choices option. No complaints! The food is spot on delicious as well as the lime iced tea drink. Will go again for sure.

I went on a week day during my lunch break. 1. Service was incredibly slow - it took 30-40 minutes for the food to be ready, 2. I asked for not spicy and my order was spicy, 3. The food was very bland, watery, and mediocre with too much fried tofu and not enough vegetables, 4. My order of basil stir fry (with tofu) was $17.33 with tax. It seemed very expensive for a casual, mediocre lunch - for that price, they could at least make it as requested/not spicy and not make the customers wait so long.

The food was fine. Nothing amazing about it, just fine. The servers were very nice, although the place was really understaffed. There was only one cook and a single cashier, and that meant there was a long wait to order and a longer wait to eat.

Everything is so good.

Diner Review №12

I’m Thai and I ordered Pad thai.. got a lot of it but doesn’t test anything!

Diner Review №13

Fried rice was delicious!! 😋 Staff was friendly. Wait wasn’t long.

Diner Review №14

Took 20min and I was given a warm can of coke for my beverage? Not even sure what to do what that. I’d skip this place until they have basic service in a food hall figured out

Diner Review №15

Highly recommend you to stop by 😋😋😋

Diner Review №16

Hands down the best basil fried rice I’ve had in a long time. The flavors are spot on and incorporated in every grain of rice. Highly recommend trying this.

Diner Review №17

Honestly the food was bland. Ordered 3 different dishes to try. If you want authentic thai food, go somewhere else.

Diner Review №18

This place definitely has some of the best Thai food I've had in Chicago. I tried the drunken noodles and green curry, and both were quite good.

Thai tea was too sweet and without ice is like half full

Service was very slow on a weekend. Was told the wait would be 15 minutes and placed our order online. Waited by the cashier area and it took almost 35 minutes to get our food. While waiting for the food, we noticed that only one person was doing the actual cooking, she had about three woks cooking at a time. The other lady was mainly a cashier. The other one was doing the slicing and/or prepping of the ingredients. There were definitely times when the other two was just standing around.
Another thing that may have contributed to the slow service was due to the order tickets being unorganized. They were set out to be according to when the orders came in but one of the ladies pulled all the tickets from the rack (not sure why she did that) so they had to take time to try and rearrange the orders.
As for the food, the drunken noodle tasted great and was very filling. The spicy crispy pork was not spicy at all, and the meat didn't taste fresh. It had a weird stench. If the food tasted awesome, we wouldn't have minded the wait. Unfortunately, it's not worth it.

There's nothing express about telling me it will be over 20 minutes to order an express rice bowl. I will not be back.

Diner Review №24

This place getting food did become a challenge like no where else as wait time existed 40 min . They did not have proper set up or management of customers as orders piled up and no quick service. Worst part was the order at which they gave out food for me as my next customer who placed order received food first and then me later . People who have really have nothing else to do can wait for food forever in this place . 0 stars for service !! Never returning to the place!!

Diner Review №25

The best Thai takeout downtown. I ordered Tom Yum with shrimp. It tastes exactly like in Thailand. The best Pad Thai I had in the US. Ask for Thai limeade!

Located in the food court called Urbanspace, Keadkao Express brings Thai flavors to Chicago!

Service is quick, price are reasonable, the staff is friendly and kind.

The products are fresh and the portion is generous. I ate the Pad Thai, it was delicious and perfect if you can't handle spicy meals.

I highly recommend you to stop by and enjoy some tasty Thai food!

Food was excellent and service was so courteous and professional! Everything was made fresh directly in front of you. Highly recommend the Thai iced tea limeade. Thanks Keadkao!!

Diner Review №32

Absolutely love this place! The most tasty Thai food I have ever eaten in US. Always fresh and delicious. I am probably the biggest fan of curry puff in Chicago. You must come visit this spot !💛

Diner Review №33

This restaurant is one of my very favorites. I really enjoy the flavor of the food that they serve here. They serve very authentic Thai cuisine, such as the Chicken Pad Thai and Tom Yum that I've ordered from them. I also like how relaxing and laid-back the atmosphere is inside the establishment. In addition to being pleasant, the staff is helpful, friendly, and easy to approach. They are constantly available to assist with their work. Additionally, it has a good location, and the prices of all of the dishes are at a level that is reasonable. Absolutely well worth both the money and all of your time. When I come back here, I will bring my friends here as well; we already have a date planned for our pamper day, and I think this place will be one of the locations we will visit for that set bonding of us. Very strongly recommended!

The food was ok, but the online order & pickup experience was terrible. I placed an order at noon for 1-1:15pm pickup, arrived at 1:10pm and was told that I should wait another 10 minutes. I went back to pick it up at 1:23pm and I was told to wait another 10 minutes again. When I asked why, they said it's because I ordered three things in one bill and they have to be customized. How is that a valid excuse for 20-min delay when I placed an order an hour ahead? I hope they understand that customers rely on their projected time in order to make the next plans.

Diner Review №35

The 1 star is more for the service than the food. I ordered, paid and they took my name. I sat down to wait for my food while slowly drinking my Thai iced tea. I waited and waited and the food never came. I thought I should give them the time assuming that they were doing a great job with it. I finally decided to speak after I saw a table of three girls being served and I was well aware they ordered their food a lot later than I did. I asked them for my food. They apologized and said they were super busy. I was like ok, please make sure I get my order. Moments later the server came up to me and asked me what I had ordered. My jaw almost dropped. Eventually my food came. By now I was almost done with my Thai iced tea and asked if I could get a complementary one. The girl said they don't give free refills. The food was mediocre at best. They probably didn't cook it right because they did it in a rush. I almost choked on a vegetable and had nothing to drink to push it down. They also didn't provide any napkins. I would advise coming here during busy hours.

Diner Review №36

Pad Thai was FANTASTIC.

Diner Review №37

So impressed that the food prepared matched the photos and the flavor was as authentic as I could have asked for. The Hadyai Fried Chicken reminded me of the mouth-watering fried chicken I had from the food stalls in Thailand. The green curry had the perfect spiciness level to open up my sinuses. I also tried the Tom Yum soup, Keadkao's grilled chicken, fried rice, and the Crispy Pork Keadkao Stir-fry. The umami from all these dishes left a lasting impact on me. Definitely looking forward to my next meal there.

Diner Review №38

Loved the Thai fried rice :)

Diner Review №39

Fresh, hot, delicious food at a reasonable price. Great service, they knew (didn't guess!) what was vegetarian.

Great addition to UrbanSpace.

Diner Review №40

I’m Thai and this place passes the test for legit, authentic Thai food. Had the Tom Yum, green curry, Hat Yai chicken and crispy pork. So good!! Brought nostalgia and reminded me of great memories in Thailand.Fresh ingredients and just the right amount of spice!

Diner Review №41

We ate the Hat Yai chicken bowl, green curry chicken, fried pork, and Pad Thai. We've been to South Thailand and everything we ate today was fresh and authentic! If you want to know what real Thai food tastes like, this is the place to satisfy your craving! The location at Urbanspace in the loop is convenient if you are working or visiting downtown too.
