I feel bad for having ordered from Jin 28 dozens of times without leaving a review—this place absolutely deserves it! The consistency, quality, and variety of their menu are outstanding. I’ve had everything from sushi to Chinese dishes to their amazing appetizers, and I’ve never had a bad meal. More often than not, I’m blown away by how good the food is.

And let me just say—if you haven’t tried their crab Rangoon, you’re missing out. I wouldn’t call myself a crab Rangoon aficionado, but these are on another level. They’re massive, generously filled, and some of the best you’ll find anywhere.

Our first time dining here. The crab Rangoon is very good as well as the egg rolls. My husband and I struck out on the fun shee noodles. They were bland and greasy and we received many more noodles than meat and veggies. Our son got the orange chicken which was good. We will eat here again but will choose different entrees.

Love there food

I've been here multiple times and it's quickly become our favorite! They are fast, fresh and have good prices. All of the elements of my dish (Thai crazy noodles) were cooked perfectly, and each bite was savory! Everyone I've been with has been really impressed by the food and quick turn around times at Jin28! Go and try it!! Seriously, I cant understand why the place isnt packed every time I go, so go!

This is one of my favorite restaurants! It's right next to my job, but even if it wasn't, I'd drive far for it. The food is amazing. The people are warm and kind and helpful. I think we need more of them

Sushi (sake and Philly role) not so hot. The meal would've been better if I didn't choose this option. Personally I don't think this place is known for there sushi so that's on me. Ive had way better sushi in the burbs. Still give this place a high rating because you can enjoy other foods here and it will be a good experience. Who knows maybe I didn't get the right sushi.

Food a little pricey but good

I ordered Beef fried rice and was given chicken fried rice... told them extra vegetables in the chicken lomein and they put it in the chicken fried rice. I advised them and the guy was so sure I ordered chicken fried rice..I told him I never eat that and that he may have been confused because of the Lo mein.. won't be going back there fighting me for an order they got wrong.. customer is always right... so won't be eating there anymore and they don't clean their shrimp right ...

We were seated immediately. The dining room was bright and clean. The appetizers came out quickly and the food shortly followed. Food quality was great and there good came out hot. It was delicious. Can’t wait to return!!

When we got there, they came out with waters and 1 of the cups had a fly in it. Upon ordering, we asked multiple times whether the foods we ordered have any meat in them as we are vegetarian. He told me that I am order the vegetable so it doesn't have meat.
When we got the food, we saw there was egg in the fried rice and Pad Thai noodles. When we asked them why there was egg in it. He said egg is vegetarian and if we didn't want egg we were supposed to mention that we were vegan...
The vegetable rolls were good. We had people in our party eat what the vegetarians couldn't. As soon as we arrived, we were told to order and then we wouldn't be able to order again.
Safe to say we will not be returning. Otherwise the decor in the restaurant was nice.

I order their Pad Thai chicken and their Korean BBQ short ribs. They are delicious. We have been going pre COVID and still order from them. I really like their lunch specials they are affordable and great when you don't feel like making lunch for you and the family.

Tastes like every other Chinese food restaurant I've ever been in. Not very good and overpriced. They also have Japanese and Thai food I believe which is another giveaway the food will not be good when you have too many styles and options on the menu. Probably fine if you don't care about quality and you just want to fill up.

My wife and i have been looking for a good Chinese place to eat. The food here was extremely disappointing. I've had better freezer burned eggrolls at home than what they served us. The crab rangoons were mainly cream cheese. We dined in and out of 5 employees there with us the only customers at the time, it seemed like we were an annoyance to order food and dine in. Most of the staff was at the table next to us stapling menus to cards. The place looked beautiful when we walked in but the service was horrible. We were going to order main courses and such but after the horrible service and disappointing appetizers, we closed our tab and left.

Was really happy with the food. The service was horrible. I prefer to dine in rather than pick up. But definitely not pleased with the people. Especially the man.

Not sure what the issue was ? But walked in as a first time customer and was dinning alone so I proceeded to eat at the front where they make the sushi. But was stopped by a man wearing a mask telling me that was for take out only and I wouldn’t be able to sit there. I was like seriously? Never got to try the food just took my business elsewhere! I give them one star for bad service skills. No one it the restaurant by the way so I would say atmosphere was none!

Ordered from Jin 28 for our first time tonight for 3 of us. The Sesame Chicken was really good as was the Beef and Broccoli as our main courses, and the Pot Stickers were very flavorful as well. I especially appreciated that the broccoli in the meal was nice and crisp, i often find in Chinese take out that it is overcooked and mushy. Everything was ready on the time it stated and the gentleman who I picked up from was friendly and efficient. Will definitely go back!

Been living in the area for 3 years. Best Chinese food in the area. We come here every time. Portions are good, service is quick, employees are always super friendly. If you see any 1 star reviews they’re probably just miserable or being overly picky.

The staff was rude, rushed us out 2 hours before close and kept our credit card. I had to come back the next day to see if they had it. Then the lady who answered that call lied about what time they close because she didn't want me to come that day

I arrived and nobody acknowledged me when i was standing at the counter and at first there was two people. I then waited 10 mins and nobody ever came. I then proceeded to grab my food and was accused of stealing and the waitress embarrassed in front of everyone and started yelling at me. I’ve never been so humiliated in my life . I’ll never go again

Tried to place an order for delivery. Twice. Both times the lady on the phone could not understand me. Oh well.

Had lunch here, the place is decorated very nice, tables and booths have plenty of room. The lunch special (sweet sour chicken) came with rice, veggies, egg roll.and soup. Was very tasty, served hot. Service was attentive, I will be back! Should have come sooner.

Jin28 is exactly what it should be; classic dishes, fast service, good preperation, great drivers. PLUS YOU CAN GET DELIVERY WITHOUT GRUBHUB! They have their own drivers, which is awesome, and makes the service lightning fast. I have never not been pleased with their work. Highly recommended.

First of all, don’t expect to see Jin28 anywhere posted publicly. You will see Japanese-Chinese-Thai big sign on the building above the place. The food was very good. I got lo mein with shrimp. Surprisingly they asked me what size. I didn’t know it comes on sizes. Small 10.50$ and large 15.xx$. I got small which was small compared with a regular same plate same price from another Chinese restaurant

I would consider our family and friends are regulars. We want to support our local businesses. I ordered 3 meals and asked for hot sauce. They wanted to charge me? They said, their owner are no longer giving out extra hot sauce. Well, I wasn't getting extra hot sauce. I didn't even get 1 for my 3 meals for 3 people. It's not the cost it's the principal. My families and friends won't be supporting your business going forward. I am very disappointed.

Tasty food and fast delivery. Nicely packaged and came with a good selection of condiments. Sweet potato maki had a good texture and flavor, same for Pad Thai and sesame chicken. Open later than other Asian restaurants in the area.

We accidentally ordered take out from this restaurant instead our usual Chinese place...and we never have looked back. We have found something different every time and are not disappointed. Best homemade Chinese food in the suburbs

I have come here for lunch a couple of times now. I highly reccomend coming here if you love asian food. Not only is the food delicious they have great service and are very friendly! They have a great menu and I was incredibly surprised by how fast I received my food! Some items have gone up but the food is still good.

Living nearby, we aimed to explore local joints we hadn't yet visited. Our arrival, however, was met with a chilly reception. The man's demeanor, offering a curt "can I help you?", left us feeling unwelcome. While we empathize with the industry challenges, it's vital not to deter local support. Without a word, he seated us, prompting our decision to leave. We're usually easygoing, but we won't dine where our presence isn't valued. 👫🚪👋

The food was ok. When we got our check the total was about $75.13. Gave the waitress my credit card and the total came back for $86.85. The extra $11.72 was for a service charge that I was never told about. I imagine it was because I used a credit card. Well they can give the service charge fee to the waitress for a tip. Never going back.

Sadly I am writing this review as a repeat customer. I did really like the sushi in the past but I had it today and it was clearly not fresh especially the salmon and tuna. Can’t mess around with raw fish not being fresh and tasting rather fishy and old. Maybe I’ll update the review more positively when my stomach stops aching.

Just picked up my order from there and wow the food was absolutely appalling. Ordered the chop suey and ending up getting some soup dish(not chop suey) bland and no flavor waste of 15 bucks. Then tried to salvage my meal by eating the gyoza...atrocious, not fresh definitely frozen and then fried. Big waste of 45 bucks and will never eat here again.

This was my first time dining in at this restaurant. We waited a long time for a server to come greet our table ( party of 2) and take an order from us. The server didn’t say a word to us almost the entire time - it made me feel a bit uncomfortable. We waited an hour for our sushi to be ready. Sushi tasted fresh and pretty good, next time I would order take out instead of dine in.

This place has a lot of good reviews so I thought I'd give it a shot , 17$ and change for a large lo mein that had no flavor at all like literally I could only taste oil and boiled meat and noodles I asked for soy sauce and got myself 1 whole little baggie of soy sauce for the whole thing. Service was fast , nice atmosphere and everything else but the food was just flavorless and not worth the money I paid for it at all. I ended up throwing away the whole thing I only ate the little pieces of chicken beef and shrimp.

Food was not good at all. Probably after making Chinese, Thai, and Vietnamese on a daily basis it really came out as a regular no authenticity of each type of food. The waiter(s) were not nice and looked like they did not want to cater to the costumers. Or probably they don't speak English?

I placed an order more than $40 and I asked for hot sauce when I picked it up and was told no. I had to place ANOTHER order to get a hot sauce. Never have I been refused hot sauce. Teriyaki chicken had zero flavor to it and very bland.

This was our valentine's dinner this was a new restaurant so we were gambling but it paid off food was great and our waiter was very attentive.

First off I'm celiac. Finding this little gem was fabulous. It's Fresh, not greasy, and flavor was excellent. I did carry out the first time and just ordered from on line menu. Went into the restaurant a week later and there are more options. The first waitress did not speak English. Most of the patrons there were speaking in native language. Do be patient and aware there is a language issue, but the young lady who came to the table that spoke English was knowledgeable, kind, and we discussed other options. She even double checked on things. She even offered other things do to her understanding.

The food is delicious. The general Tsoa's Chicken was spot on. Mongolian beef was delicious, but not what I remember it tasting like. So my suggestion is go in with an open mind and enjoy the food for its freshness and being able to find Chinese food GF.

Not happy at all with Jin28. I ordered two shrimp soups, which were advertised as feeds 2 people. Order delivered promptly, but im eating the soup and thinking everything was at the bottom, and I got 6 baby shrimp and two mushrooms with some lemon grass. Absolutely garbage I would never order take out from here again.

Best Chinese Food!

I order from here a lot. The food is always good. Tonight I ordered over $100 in takeout which is our usual. I added a 15% gratuity because I’m on crutches with a broken ankle and would need help carrying to my truck. The guy at the register tells me they are busy otherwise he would help me and leaves me to carry it myself. He was nice enough to tell me one of the bags was heavy. Wow! Luckily there was a young customer that got up from his table and held the doors open for me. I will never go here again. Unbelievable!
