I can’t believe I found this little Gem 💎 in my neighborhood. We were looking for authentic, vegetarian friendly and that awesome real Thai taste. I have to say this is it. We had so much of a good time here. The food was great tasting and made properly. The chef took the time to cook it to perfection. We had warm welcome, the server was super nice, reached out multiple times to check on us if we need a drink or need anything else. This level of personalized interaction is something to be delighted for. The interior design is beautiful and even bathroom was extra clean. The food is delicious and was prepared quick. The staff were super friendly and courteous. This was my first time and I will be back.

We had the papaya salad, chicken satay, steamed potstickers, drunken noodles , basil fried rice, and green curry. The food was so tasty and full of flavors. It was a perfect outdoor lunch place for me and my family.

Reasonable rates and generous portions, highly recommend this place.

The sushi is good but the portions are smaller than before I pretty much only order so I don't have to deal with door dash or a similar courier They do deliver your food very fast to your house too

Got Drunken Noodle, it was disappointing, small portion and expensive, too much veggies and not enough noodles. Tofu was tough and not enough seasoning. The noodle itself was good, but the dish itself could use more spices.

Fuji Thai has a variety of Thai dishes that cater to vegetarians/vegans. They can modify many of the dishes to be vegan with tofu. They also have a good way of adjusting the drive level to suit your taste. Medium has plenty of heat for most dishes.

Blown away by the Food. Confidently can say The best Crab Rangoon I've ever had! The green tea was also shockingly amazing! Love love loved this place!

Very fair soup. The scallops were enormous but the sauce and vegetables weren't enough to bring me back.

They have a great bento box lunch special.

The setting inside is nice and comfortable. Service was very good, the waitress was nice and professional. The food was fresh and presented well. Sushi tasted good but the entrees were bland. This is great for those who don’t like a lot of spice.

The staff by register (two teenager girls) were very rude and unprofessional and seems to be mocking our friend with weight issues, and not being apologetic about that or the fact they did not hear the order over the phone and did not ask to repeat the order, even thought they got the number.

Fuji Thai has been my choice for sushi for years, we either go to the restaurant or get the takeout, their sushi are simply the best! I especially love Shrimp Tempura Roll and their nigiri. The staff are super nice and friendly.

I got pad see ew and it was soooo greasy and has almost no flavor. The staff we polite. I hope other people have better food experiences.

BIGGEST RIP OFF!! I would recommend Sushi Grove, Starfish or Blufish. This place messed up my order and then decided to blame me for the mistake. They said they would switch it out, which they did, but they sneakily ended up shorting me pieces of tuna on purpose. You get soooooo much more food for your money at the places mentioned above and they take
really good care of their customers. This place cuts corners all the time and after being a good customer of theirs over the years, they have gone down hill and other places are MUCH better for the money at this point. Avoid this place.

I enjoyed the Thai curry (chicken) fried rice with a spice of 4. I am from Mumbai so used to spicy food. Later I thought I could have gone for a 5 spice as well.
Chicken Satay was good and so were the other starters as well.

Pros: service was friendly, resturant was clean, prices are totally reasonable.

Cons: food quality and taste was well below average for Asian, Thai, and sushi in the greater Chicagoland area.

HIDDEN GEM. For a la carte sushi, this is the place to go. Not a huge restaurant but it’s a really nice space and the staff are extremely friendly.

Ordered Gyoza and Potstickers for appetizers. Both were DELICIOUS, cooked perfectly, and came out quickly.

Ordered the following rolls: JJ, White Sox, Rainbow, and Boston. All of them were delicious and were filling.

The workers were friendly, but the food taste was not that good. The rolls had weird taste and were much smaller than the images, and the customer next to my table found a piece of plastic from her food.

I cannot believe what I tasted. We were looking for a go-to dinner or lunch that is tasty and authentic. Not only is Fuji Thai both of those things, but it’s super convenient cause it’s right next to our buffalo grove home. The food was warm and cooked perfectly with planets of car, the server was super nice and checked in many times to see if we needed anything, and the restaurant itself is amazing! 5/5 will tell my friends and family.

This is the best restaurant in the area, when you like to try thai food..I tried fried rice, noodles and parang curry..it was so good..went with my family couple of times...the ambiance is very impressive, it's small however very clean and attractive..coming to prices, they have very reasonable prices...plenty of parking areas..Restaurant folks are very nice and will always have smile on thier face..this makes they very unique...thanks and recommend others to try..

Excellent and quick tag team service during lunch. I enjoyed the lunch portion stir fried vegetables and my side salad and Tom Yum soup. My dining partner enjoyed a chicken bento box that included three pieces of sashimi. Hot green tea was very mild.

Fuji Thai's Lunch specials are a 10. Similar to a Japanese Bento box. Choose a soup, appetizer and entrée. Tom Yum Soup, Miso Soup, egg rolls and pot stickers are all really good. As is the service. Garlic Pepper is really good and loaded with Chicken & sweet orange peppers. I love the fat rice noodles in their Pad see ew.
One of my favorite Thai restaurants. Outdoor dining an option. Will definitely be back 🙂

Our first time having sushi from Fuji Thai. Every roll we ordered was delicious. We had some picking people in our group that are always willing to try some thing once. Even they said every roll was fantastic.

Visited Chicago on a short trip. Tried this place on our last day of the trip and totally loved it. Will recommend the place to anyone that stays in Chicago.

Great local Thai place, that also serves “ok” rolls. I tried a bunch of Thai places in Chicago, and Fuji Thai is by far in the top 3 for me. Unlike many other Thai places around here, their Pad Thai is not too sweet and not soggy. My kids love Pad Thai, Glass Noodles and Tom Yam / Tom Kha here, which I think is the highest praise.

The food at Fuji Thai has been very consistent and good. The lunch specials are a great option, when applicable, with well balanced portions, and lots of options. This is one of my go-to lunch spots, and I highly recommend it.

We ordered up dinner for four people and tried curbside pickup. When they say curbside they mean right in front of the door or they don't see you. We waited for a while before I figured this out. It's okay. Food wasn't cold. Good phone service and we like the food but it was was different from some of the other Thai places that we love. Chicken satay appetizer was kind of coconutty but good. No cucumber salad with it. I thought that was unusual. Fried rice was good, but we were mixed in our opinions of some of the other main dishes we got. A little expensive too. Friendly service with the definite mix up on curbside pickup with decent food.

I've been coming to Fuji Thai for over 10 years, which says something about the quality, taste, and price of food served. Easily my favorite local sushi place with affordable prices and lots of variety to choose from (if you don't like sushi there is lots of other stuff). I come here so often that the waiters recognize me sometimes! If this place ever shut down, I would start a riot because no other local sushi place even remotely compares to Fuji Thai.

The Thai food is not my favorite here. I have eaten better Thai food at other restaurants. But the chicken Teriyaki is very good. My husband loves Sushi and he says the sushi is very good and very fresh. I have noticed when you eat at the restaurant the food tastes better rather if you take it to go. But I have taken it to go also. Overall very good restaurant will continue to come here. Also when do to take out it sometimes is a long wait. Like one time when I did take it I waited over 30 minutes which is ridiculous. They get very busy so they need more help.

I always get lunch box specials and occasionally dinner from this restaurant. I usually get 2 box lunch specials which are 26 dollars after tax for 2 and they include an entree, an appetizer, a California roll, and 3 pieces of nigiri. VERY filling! Their ginger carrot dressing is amazing, and this is coming from someone who doesn’t like ginger normally. I also like anything with their homemade peanut sauce, it is the perfect balance of flavor. And their dinner portions are huge. I usually go for their pad thai or any of their sushi rolls. Every time I’ve been there, the sushi has been very fresh. The family and staff that works there are so kind and patient. I really recommend trying their pad thai, green salad, and any sushi!

I know this place has a lot of good reviews and high rating .. but personally I didnt like the food here ... have ordered 3 times now and each time it was lacking flavour and was bland. Again personal choice.. the place is pretty clean and the staff is friendly.

On feb. 24, 2020 I personally was in the restaurant to place an order to-go. I asked if they have curry rice. I was told yes. I ordered a curry rice with beef. While it was very good and tasty it was not curry rice. Also extremely expensive. I paid $15 for just rice which had nothing to do with what I ordered. Like I said it was good but not what it was supposed to be.

Best Tom Kha soup anywhere. You can have your luck of Japanese or Thai. Small and friendly staff it's a great little neighborhood restaurant.

I don’t understand the positive reviews of the food. The appetizers are all frozen then toasted or microwaved and the veggies in the dishes are all from the Costco frozen section as well. The place is clean, the people are nice but the food is meh. Siam Siam is nearby, go there instead.

Been a few times and every time I've come it's even better. Their pad woonsen is too good and I really liked the JJ Roll and Volcano Roll as well. Very fresh and great sauces for the sushi. Some sushi is so dry at other places, but their sauces and toppings always compliment their rolls so deliciously. Nice people who work there. I will definitely be coming back!! Keep up the good work.
