The food is always perfectly prepared. They offer to add spice up to five levels based on preference. My only critique is that I wish there was more meat in the dish. I order the chicken pad thai and my husband the pork pad thai and an appetizer of fried spring rolls.

Sala Thai is fantastic. They are fast, polite, and reasonably priced. The food is healthy, tasty, and as spicy as you want (they have a scale you can choose your spice level). I had the country fried general tso chicken and it was incredible.

Found a roach in the chicken fried rice. Disgusting. Was always a regular here until this happened now I’ll never get food from here again.

If this was about the taste of the food it would be 5 stars. However, as much as I love the food this is getting ridiculous with the pricing. I had an order of chicken lo-mein an order of veggie fried rice and 1 order of crab rangoon and with penalty of using debit card I paid and extra 2 bucks and I chose to tip my order was 45$ freaking ridiculous. Also why are tips solicited in a drive up/carry out? Can I get a tip for breathing or just doing my job? What is going on with everyone thinking they deserve a tip in a drive through?! Out of control. Of course I didn't have to tip but if you prepay and have to tip before you get your food then the employee is alone with your food if you dont. So yeah... sticker shock 2 meals and a (1) crab rangoon 45 bucka. No thanks. :( what a shame because I do love the food.

Good little Thai restaurant. Food was a little most expensive than average, but they served a good quantity and it tasted great.

The food has been so inconsistent recently.
I used to come here all the time, and I usually get the Pad Thai with number 3 or 4 spice level.
The past 3x I've been I have ordered the same meal and my noodles come plain white! No flavor or spice 🥲 I'm so disappointed, this was my favorite go to place!

I could tell that Sala Thai was consistent as there were many people coming in for large group dinners as well as people who mentioned they were excited to be dining there again.

Fantastic quality and tasty food! Lots of veggies for those who like vegetables, or you can go for noodles and a variety of meat (or Tofu). Extremely clean, well designed and efficient facility. The staff know the menu extremely well and can suggest the perfect meal for individual tastes. What is helpful is being able to select a "spicy level" and each dish comes out custom cooked for each customer. A great venue for two people or a large group. 5 Stars to a hidden Jewel of a restaurant! 🤗

Went on a Friday night and the place was actually quite empty. I'm not sure I understand what that is maybe it's because they don't serve alcohol there. Another pair of diners did finally come after we had been there for a little bit. Our food was very good and I can see that they do have quite a bit of takeout business. Perhaps that's that's the way to enjoy this place with a nice beer at your house just do take out.

I've driven by this place 1000 times, & never even considered going in. Man I wish I had years ago!!! The food, service, & price were all 100% terrific! This will definitely be on my list of frequent stops.

Sala Thai is a favorite of ours. The food is always delicious and attractively presented. Atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. Rest rooms are clean.

We found Sala Thai on Google search and are thankful we did! Our party of 6 entered a very clean establishment, were very quickly served fantastic food by a wonderful waitress. The portions were enough for take home and tasted great at home. Our only regret is that we live over 2 1/2 hours away and aren't able to enjoy this establishment more often! We will definitely be back when in the area.

My favorite place for Thai food in the metro east. Always consistently good. Love the summer rolls and peanut sauce! Fabulous pad Thai. Great soup not salty or taste like out of a can. My favorite dish is the red curry.

The people are so nice here, they're very patient of you aren't sure what you want. I love getting peanut sauce on everything and Sala Thai is always happy to indulge me on that level. They're willing to go above the spicy level 4 if you are worried your food won't be spicy enough which was initially a concern for me but the staff is always willing to make your experience better where they can.

Not as good as it once was. Thai is my favorite and I regularly dine in and take out from Sala Thai 2 or 3 times a month. When it's good (more likely to be better at lunch than dinner) it is really good. 10 years ago (around 2008) there was no better Thai restaurant in the area. Since then it has been consistently inconsistent both in flavor and spiciness. I typically order dishes with 3 stars of spiciness at most Thai restaurants, I order 2 stars hot from Sala Thai. Their interpretation of spiciness is bizarre. On more than one occasion I have ordered multiple 3 star dishes at the same time for my large family that ranged in spiciness from not noticeable to somewhere between molten lava and the surface of the sun. Many of my friends and colleagues stopped visiting Sala, but I keep going back because as I said, when it's good, it's really good. I personally do not mind the dated decor or soft drinks being served from 2 liter bottles, but some might. There are better Thai restaurants around, but do recommend you give it a try for lunch.

Clean bathrooms, great Pad Thai, and nice staff. I wish they had a kids menu since portions are too big for a child. The level of heat was 1-5 per the waitress so I chose a 2 since Thai hot is hard core. I was dissapointed in the 2 it was more like 0. I do plan to return.
