Ordered from this establishment for the first time tonight. Food was fresh, tasty, and was just what my wife and I were looking for!

I had the yellow curry, spice level 3 was mildly spicy, but good for this dish. The chicken was good quality and the dish had an amazingly complex flavor profile.

We also ordered the mango sticky rice which was so good. Wish I could make it like this at home!

So happy to have this place so close to home. It is take-out only but the food was ready within 25 minutes and was well worth the wait. We will be visiting here often when we have a taste for Thai food!

This was the absolute best chicken Pad Thai that I have had in a very, very long time! Pad Thai is so hard to find that is authentic and doesn’t taste like it is a premade sauce with dry chicken. This blew everything out of the water and we will definitely be ordering again. I loved the crushed peanuts and crispy onions as a topping in the corner! (just FYI, it is Pickup only and there are is seating inside)

Ordered for the first time and loved it! Ate the food so quickly forgot to take pictures. Portion are perfect. The crab rangoon was so good. Rama Delight tasted so fresh. I ordered a spice level 3 which was perfect but may have to try 4 next time as I like spice. Thank you also for the Thai iced tea that was really yummy.

Had a great take out order from here! I have been craving Tom Kha soup and this HIT THE SPOT! It was so flavorful and the perfect amount of spice. I also ordered the Rama veggie delight and the mix of peanut sauce and lemongrass was so good. It reminded me of being back in Thailand. My husband ordered the Tom Yum soup and garlic and beef at a level 4 spice. He loved every bite! So excited to have a delicious Thai restaurant nearby!

I was looking forward to trying this place because of the high score. The food was very good. I kept it simple. I got one order of chicken Pad Thai. I paid for the food and then I wanted some hot sauce. The woman behind the counter said "one dollar" . That's the first time I was ever asked for a dollar for some hot sauce. The food was great 5 star but...."one dollar" ...... Not so much.

Wow!!! I have not had Thai this good in years! The Tom kha was delightful. I got it with pork and it was loaded with meat and veggies. My husband order his with beef and he loved it as well. The crab rangoon is packed and the dipping sauce they send with it is addictive. I also ordered the Massaman curry with beef and it was heavenly. I sometimes find that restaurants with these stew/mixed meat and veggie style dishes often skimp on the quality of the meat and veggies. That is definitely not the case for Thai Pot. I was so impressed and I can’t wait to order again. This place is definitely going to be part of our takeout regulars.

This is the best Thai food outside of Chicago and Thailand! I had the pleasure of meeting the owner Tiffany one day while grocery shopping, and she kindly invited me to come try Thai Pot. I'm ecstatic that she did! The food is amazing! Fresh, homeade, made to order and preference. They also have options for pescatarians, vegetarians as well as vegans! The freshness and flavors are unbeatable! You need to eat here. They don't have seating. But, what ever you do, don't let that stop you from eating here. They have p/u, as well as door dash, grubhub, and Uber eats. And whatever you do, don't pass up on desserts. Thank me later. 😉
P.S. Tiffany was kind enough to give me a complimentary menu item to my mother because she thought she'd really enjoy it. Which, she absolutely loved. Good people right there. Please support this local, woman owned restaurant.

We have ordered from Thai Pot twice since they opened and both times it was great! Originally, we saw this place a few times driving down Algonquin road and finally called them to ask if they were open. The person who answered was a tad short with us (I imagine dinner rush, haha), but they said yes they were open. We waited a week and gave them a shot. Here is our review:

- Thai iced tea with boba: One of the best I've had (outside of our favorite at Alt Thai in Arlington Heights) - was really, really good - hands down, the best in the area without question.

- Massaman chicken curry: The first time we had this, it was absolute fire! The second time, it seemed like the chicken may have been already cooked or a tad old because it had that 'day old made' chicken flavor to it. That said, the rest of it was great. They skimped a bit on the peanuts and potatoes, tho. It was close to the end of the night when we ordered so I don't want to really hold that against them.

- Crab rangoon: We enjoyed this! Was pretty good!

- Chicken satay: Really great! Loved the peanut sauce!

- Panang curry: Was for someone else in the house - they said it was good - not what they expected, but good. They tried the massaman curry and said they preferred that one.

- Mango with sweet sticky rice: SO. GOOD. If I had one complaint, it would be that they need to put TWICE the amount of sauce on it (lol). The sauce is where it's at!

I do wish they had the banana soup dessert in stock as twice I have wanted to try it, twice they didn't have the ingredients to make it. If they don't have it anymore, that's fine - just take it off the menu (lol) :).

Definitely will be somewhere we order from frequently. Thanks!

Picked up carry out on my way home from work. The food was ready when I arrived. The Pad Thai and Pad Se Ewe were both excellent. Staff were very friendly and nice. I will definitely be back.

Excellent Thai Food! Had the Pad See Ew ,Tom Kha soup and a Thai Ice Tea. Prepared quickly and packaged well. The food was delicious! Very nice friendly people- Would definitely recommend and cant wait to go back!

The Pad Thai and Spicy Basil dishes were amazing. Been looking for a top tier Thai place nearby and this is IT! Bonus - the Cucumber Salad was the best ever!

Very good Thai food for takeout. For a while we've been lacking a Thai restaurant nearby so this has been a welcome relief! My favorites are the pad Kee Mao, pad Thai and pad woon sen.

Carry out only place. No seating inside. Food was amazing and not greasy. We loved everything we ordered and, since we wanted to try several things, we ordered numerous items. The Pad See Iew was my favorite. We had never tried Tom Kha soup before but it was super yummy too. We will definitely be frequent customers here.

Perfect spot for carry out Thai food in Algonquin, Apps are perfectly cooked every time I order! The team working here has great communication and customer service as well. I will definitely be back for more!

Excellent food and quick service. Best Thai food I have had since working at an upscale Thai restaurant 15 years ago. 4 level spicy is a good level of spiciness. I would recommend they make a kids meal with some chicken satay, plain boiled pad Thai noodles, and their cucumber salad. My 2 year old absolutely loved it!

As a lover of Thai foods, I had to try Thai Pot tonight. I ordered the Spicy Basil with beef #4 spicy, crab Rangoon and chicken satay. It was all so well made, the flavor was amazing. I will be back!!

From what I tried the food is great and super fresh. I ordered the tofu pad thai and the egg rolls (through Uber Eats). I wasn't quite sure about the ingredients of the egg rolls after receiving them because the texture of the filling made me question whether or not there was meat, and I'm a vegetarian. Since it was after-hours I posted a question here on Google and to my surprise, I think it was answered within an hour which I was not expecting! The egg rolls are indeed meat-free. If I could make one suggestion it's that to specify whether the more ambiguous items contain meat, for us vegetarians :) But I will definitely eat here again!

I saw the sign for this place for awhile and was so excited for it to open. We googled Thai for tonight and saw Thai Pot opened and I am so happy! I had a craving for pad Thai - great! My husband had the pad see ew - delish! Tom kha and crab Rangoon also great. I’m a panang curry person so I will be back soon to try that! I used to get Thai weekly when I lived on the same block as a Thai place in the city…so happy we have this new spot!

I recently ordered a delightful meal from Thai Pot, and it was an absolute treat for my taste buds. First up, the Curry Fish. The fish was cooked to perfection, tender and juicy, swimming in a rich, aromatic curry sauce that had just the right balance of heat and creaminess. Each bite was infused with the fragrant notes of coconut, lemongrass, and a gentle spice that lingered beautifully.

Next, the Tofu Pad Thai was an absolute must-try. The noodles were perfectly al dente, with a light, tangy tamarind sauce coating every strand. The tofu was crisp on the outside and soft inside, absorbing all the flavors of the dish. Fresh veggies and crushed peanuts added the right amount of crunch, making every bite a wonderful mix of textures.

Just like my favorite Thai spots in Chicago! We were happy with everything we ordered the other night, so glad to have Thai Pot in Algonquin. We went for it and used Uber Eats but next time we would just pick it up. They do not have their own delivery. Excited to try more curries and noodles!

Food is delicious! A little pricey, but the entrees can be shareable. We've ordered from here a couple of times and would continue to go back!

We were so excited to try this new Thai place so close to our house.
The food was very good in taste. However we were severely disappointed in the portion sizes. It was hardly enough food to satisfy for one meal. Both my husband and I were looking for snacks after.
I would love to be back because the food is so good, but not until they improve either their prices or portion sizes.

We tried the crab Rangoon, egg rolls, chicken potstickers, Panang curry with chicken, pad see eiw with shrimp, pad thai with chicken, and chicken rice soup. All were really delicious. The wontons they use are super thin and crispy, really enjoyed the appetizers. Everyone liked what they ordered as well. I personally ate the Panang curry and did a level 3 spice, I love spicy and was a great mid-high spice range for me.

Prices a little higher than we’d typically spend for lunch but the portions are big and the food is high quality and vegetables are fresh so that is worth it. We will be back!

Good food but portions are smaller for the price, I got shrimp pad Thai for 20 bucks ,my go to anywhere I order, and other places are more generous and it’s more filling.

Food was amazing, we placed a big order to try different options and all the food was delicious! When we asked for spicy, it was indeed spicy but still so flavorful. The carryout waiting room was decorated nicely and the people working were very friendly! Definitely going to return!
