Traditional Thai fare with vegetarian options served in a simple, casual setting or for takeout.
Found Thai Kitchen on Facebook because they posted really ono looking food on there, decided to make the drive to Waipahu to check it out. Walked in, the place is clean, two ladies will greet you, the menu is dispalyed and you will have to order first before you sit down if you're eating in. We ordered the overload breakfast and I believe it's breakfast all day. See pic of overload breakfast. Also ordered pancit and adobo omelette, didn't eat it because I was full already. All types of payment accepted. There is a self serve station, water and condiments. Good upcoming place to eat at. Support local!
This is truly a hidden gem! The absolute best Thai food on the island. Family owned. The food is absolutely authentic and prepared perfectly.
They do not have a liquor license but you are welcome to bring your own bottle of wine or favorite adult beverages with you and they will supply the glasses and ice for free.
This is one of my favorite Thai restaurants. I think one of the cooks might be Lao. You can get some really good Issan style dishes. They will also really crank up the spicy for you. The owners are some of the friendliest people I've met. I highly recommend Thai Kitchen.
First time here and I’m so happy we decided to give it a try. The owner is so sweet and wonderful and the food is excellent. We had the garlic shrimp and the lemon grass chicken with sticky rice and it was seriously so tasty. I will definitely drive the distance just to come here.
It was not that great, food was not seasoned as strong as I've had at other places, I prefer stronger flavors. For a pretty steep price:
SPRING ROLLS - Greasy, all adults & 2 out of 3 kids liked (I feel to would have been great if not greasy); STIR-FRIED RICE - looked ok,1 out of 3 kids liked it, no adult tasted;
MUS SO MUN CURRY - 3 adults liked, 2 out of 3 kids liked;
YELLOW CURRY - only 1 adult ate but liked;
SWEET & SOUR CHICKEN - 2 out of 3 kids and only 2 adults ate and liked (veggies were great but chicken had a not so great taste, like freezer burnt)
BEEF BROCCOLI - 2 out of 3 adults like & 1 kid ate the broccoli-- had wide noodles (I feel plain rice would be better);
PAD THAI got mild 1 out of 2 kids tried/liked, 2 adults liked (tasted like ketchup was used);
Dessert of course, 2 orders each of:
APPLE-BANANA TAPIOCA - 3 kids not impressed, 3 adults like but not that impressive (bananas hard and unflavorful to me);
MANGO STICKY RICE - can't go wrong with fresh mangos but rice tasted scorched, 3 kids did not like the rice part, 2 out of 3 adults ate.
Wait staff was great. Seating was comfortable. A bit to warm. So far I can say I won't go back there, I wasn't impressed . I like the Thai Loa Restaurant in Kapolei the best and Thai Village in Waipahu is really good too! The prices are pretty great.
My favorite place to get my Thai food fix! Great customer service and excellent food. They offer an HGEA discount if you're a member. They have other food choices besides Thai that are just as delicious.

Best Thai Food ever! Nam is the best!
Ordered shrimp pad thai, only received 4 shrimps that were fairly dry and tasteless. The noodles were very dry with minimal sauce, so they were clumped together. Not a positive experience :(
One of the best experience I've had for sure. I highly recommend this place
Excellent food! Very friendly. A great find!

Don't let the rail construction stop you from eating here! Love the new menu!
The food is awesome! The owner is nice. I would try anything the chef recommends on the menu.
Great flavor and great people!
So good!
Pretty solid Thai food with great spice. Very friendly staff.
Food is Onolicious!
Great food
Great three generation family Thai Restaurant. Authentic. Sticky rice and yellow curry a must. Mild is warm. Evil is so hot you need a gire extinguisher!

Best thai food in the world...live state side and wish I could order take-out...if I owned a jet!!!
Clean place, yummy food. I always order the chicken and pineapple curry. Everything else is delicious, too.
Fresh authentic dishes.. A hidden gem.
Good food large portions

I paid 12.00 for Chicken Curry that was abou 2-3 oz of chicken, large chunks of onion and 3 pieces of carrot. The rice is extra.
Really not even a scoop of rice for $ 12.
The food here is delicious. This is definitely my favorite place for Thai food when we don't want to drive into town. Evil chicken is a must.
Looooove the food here!!
