Rustic-chic food truck providing hearty Thai fare such fried pork ribs & curry, plus picnic tables.
Drunken noodles with chicken and fried rice with chicken were some of the best I’ve ever had (and I eat a lot of Thai food)! We were able to quickly order and receive our food in less than 15 minutes. It’s located in a cute food truck park with ample covered seating. Great, quick option near the airport.
Went here 3 times in my 6 days in Maui and damn everything was better than the other in menu. We even did a takeaway for the flight. The CHICKEN CASHEW noodle is my favourite. And the shrimp so good and fresh. It’s a long line usually so order ahead using app. Accommodated vegetarian preferences
They have 2 different locations, both are equally good. Just can’t go wrong truly.
As good as the reviews say!! Pad Thai with tofu was possibly the best I’ve ever had, super fresh tasting. Drunken noodle with chicken also delicious, (spicier than anticipated). Noodles are so well cooked, flavors amazing. Definitely the food truck to visit when you’re in this area, and highly worth a trip if you’re not already in the Gardens!
This place is awesome. It's in the middle of the food trucks across from Costco. My favorite was the Lemongrass Chicken. The kids really enjoyed it too. They seemed the busiest so we had to wait a little bit but worth it. They have covered picnic table seating. Parking is decent but don't miss the turn in. Minutes from the airport too.
We were there 2x during our 6 day stay on the Island. Amazing food! Flavor was authentic, portions were perfect, fresh ingredients, and service was great! Only issue was that for green curry, they can’t add chicken. Not sure why that’s an issue! You can’t go wrong with the chicken pad Thai, fried pork ribs, cashew chicken, and green curry! Thai iced tea was tasty too!
ate this at kihei, not sure if they move often but this place is so good I went there twice. First time I had pad thai. The family ahead of me asked if the drunken noodles was spicy and I guffawed at that comment. You can tell they thought ketchup is “spicy”! Anyway, the second time I came and got the pad seew and that was delicious as well! They also have samples but when they get busy, they stop giving it out. I was also not tied up but hey, beggars can’t be choosers at Thai Mee Up! All in all a great place to eat!!
This place is an absolute must if you are in Maui. We came all the way from the East Coast for our honeymoon and read about it online. We drove almost an hour to get here but it was worth every second. Affordable prices, super fresh and delicious food. There’s nice picnic tables where you can eat and wash your hands. We ordered Pad Thai, Ahi Tuna and Pork Fried Ribs. Don’t forget the Tea- it was one of my favorites ever.
Some of the best pad Thai I’ve had in a while, and that’s saying a lot since i love Thai food! Also the cashew chicken has lots of veggies so was delicious! The curry was pretty mild and coconutty, not my favorite but if you like it super mild, might be your thing. So good I went back for lunch a free days later! Yum!
First time I tried this food truck,The food was So Ono,Been Coming here As Much as I can Since then. The Young Wahine that takes your order She is So Awesome,Because of Her great customer service and The ONO food,I’m a Customer Who will Always Support This Food Establishment!Mahalo !! Just picked up the crispy garlic Shrimp plate and the Lemongrass fried chicken plate,SOO ONO Every-time!!!

Went to the food truck location and had the most divine pad se ew! Must try, amazing Thai food. Believe their spice level they take their Thai spice seriously!
Love eating there at the picnic tables. Best restaurant, Maui.!

Great flavors! I grew up in Thailand and cook Thai at home, so it’s not often that I’d give a Thai restaurant 5 stars.
Food was fresh and amazing! They also make your food pretty fast which is nice as well!
The food truck scene in Maui is confounding
Scores of trucks selling tiny portions of food for exorbitant prices with no service like water or restrooms
This place is similar : prices are similar to restaurants , there is no restroom or waiter serving you water or hot sauce
Their food is bland and the portion is half of what you get in a regular restaurant
So I don’t see the point of sitting in a food truck park , paying more, consenting that tiny bottle of purchased water and then holding my per till we get back to the hotel
I think the food truck people are missing the point
Street food in Asia in cities like Mumbai and Bangkok and Singapore is booming for decades because it’s cheaper , more flavorful , with larger portions and generally each cart has its own single dish specialty
We’ve gotten better drunken noodles elsewhere, the leftovers went uneaten. A lot recommended but wouldn’t go back and didn’t live to the hype :(
Thai Mee Up is the best– Maui
Thai Mee Up is a standout food truck in Maui, offering some of the best Thai cuisine on the island. With authentic flavors, fresh ingredients, and eco-friendly practices, it’s a must-visit for anyone craving Thai food.
What I Tried:
• Thai Chicken Fried Rice: Perfectly cooked rice with a delightful blend of flavors, tailored to my preferred spice level.
• Drunken Noodles: Rich, savory, and just the right amount of heat, making it a satisfying and flavorful dish.
• Panang Curry Chicken: Creamy, aromatic, and bursting with traditional Thai spices, this curry was a highlight of the meal.
Pros:
• Customizable Spice Levels: They made each dish to my exact spice preference, ensuring a personalized dining experience.
• Fresh Ingredients: Every dish tasted incredibly fresh and flavorful.
• Environmentally Friendly Packaging: The use of eco-friendly packaging adds to the overall positive experience.
• Top Thai Food Truck in Maui: Hands down, the best place for Thai food on the island, combining great taste with sustainability.
Cons:
• Busy During Peak Hours: Given its popularity, there can be a wait during peak times, but it’s well worth it for the quality of food.
Overall, Thai Mee Up is an essential stop for Thai food lovers in Maui. The combination of delicious dishes, customizable spice levels, and eco-friendly practices makes it a top choice for both locals and visitors.
Lemongrass chicken was amazing. I wouldn't be upset if it had more of a lemongrass hit though. Wife got pad that, "best I've ever had."
Will be back.
Garlic ahi slaps
Like the food and generally friendly staff but for some reason received a half order of rice that looks like someone was eating it already :/ pretty unappealing and certainly wont be eating this. Called and staff was apologetic but that doesn't really make up for not getting edible rice with our meal. Will be sticking with other locations (and options - there are many) and checking food before we leave in the future.
Panang curry was amazing! And portion size was really good too
During my stay in maui during december, been there twice on two different locations. Their food is very authentic and yummiest thai food i ever had. Tried their garlic salmon and drunken noodles. it was too good. Must try if you are maui and fan of thai food.

We were able to quickly order and receive our food in less than 15 minutes. It’s located in a cute food truck park with ample covered seating. Great, quick option near the airport.
We had grilled chicken satay, drunken noodles and grilled salmon. Everything was fresh and delicious. Highly recommend!!!!,

This is a food truck opposite Costco and at walkable distance from the Courtyard Marriott. Food was great. Portions are more like one adult. The curry portions are generous though. Prices are reasonable. They have multiple locations across Maui. We will definitely go again.
Delicious! Got the drunken noodle with shrimp. Green curry, pad Thai, and crispy shrimp also very good.
The Pad Thai was yumm! Great eatery with live music for dinner, can’t ask for more!
Eat here weekly. Best Thai Food on Maui
Always great Food, Never disappointed, friendly atmosphere, reasonably priced
Great menu! The noodle type they used for drunken noodles is so good! Wide cut rice noodle, so fresh!!! Will have to come back to try other items on the menu

Favorite food trucks on maui. Recipe from mama's fish house. So can't go wrong.
Good good food!!
It was my first meal in Maui.
I'm not going to lie, the service was pretty good and fast, but the food was pretty bad.
I had the Fried Rice with Chicken, and it had no flavor at all. Also, the eggs were not even good.
I was disappointed because it was $20 straight to the trash.
In all my years of doing reviews, this is my first one talking badly about food.
Sorry.
My wife had the Pad Thai and said it was amazing. There is a large covered area for dining, in the middle of all the food trucks.
Yum!
friendly smiles with lots of aloha and the cooks do a terrific job on the food!
Service was fast and food is consistently tasty.
we did to-go drunken noodles, it surely hit the spot
amazing food, the quantity and price is decent compared to Maui, i did a 5/10 spicy and it had a nice kick, they generally do 2/10 on average
i would highly recommend this spot
Absolutely delicious food. We tried the Chicken Pad Thai, the garlic and flavors were excellent. We also tried the Panang Curry, which was creamy and had a med kick. Service was quick. Several food trucks share a nice covered picnic bench area. Plenty of room to sit at lunch time. Free parking lot. Porta potties and hand washing stations.
The absolute best Thai food!!! So much flavor and authentic spice!

So good. Grilled Ahi in curry.
Fabulous.
DELICIOUS 😋

I come here at least once a week and have never been disappointed. Food is always hot, tasty and plentiful. Staff are fun, helpful and very personable. Definitely recommend.
Pad Thai was a little salty and pd kee ewe was a little too sweet. But otherwise reasonably good Thai for Maui
Great food for coming off the plane and needing a quick and good meal!
Excellent Thai food. Piping hot and spicy and very tasty.
Very good pad thai - salty and sweet! Portion is a lil small though for the price.
Thai Me Up food truck whips up such exotic Thai cuisine. The good portions satisfy any craving. The tastes are delicious and delightful. We have explored the whole menu. Which ones are favorite? Never disappointed! From helpful order up to punctual pick up, the staff is accommodating and friendly. Clean, green are the picnic tables in cool breezes under kiawe trees.
Excellent Thai food, we ordered shrimp fried rice, pork laab, fish sliders, and a papaya salad. The food came out within 10 minutes. We ordered 5 stars spice (out of 10) on the papaya salad and the shrimp fried rice, it was a bit too spicy for me. Regardless, all the dishes were delicious and will definitely return in the future.
DELISH !!!
Consistency of high-quality food 🤩🤩🤩🤩
My FAVORITE Foid Truck on all of Maui 🌺🌺🌺
Good food very delicious and at affordable prices. The atmosphere is very nice and even in a hot day the tent allows you to sit in the shadows and wind helps a lot. We took two curry (both red and green but just green one in picture) served with some white rice. Portion is good but not too heavy if you desire a light lunch. In the same courtyard you can take advantage of others food truck for more food and drink. Absolutely recommended!
We tried the lemongrass, fried chicken and salt and pepper fried pork ribs. So delicious, we will definitely be back.
My favorite is the sautéed salmon!!!!!
Amazing food and aloha every time for years! Mahalo for your service! 🤙🏼✨
That Mee Up is our go-to for 'ono grindz!!! We eat once a week!
We are looking for a place for dinner & just before our departure back to Montreal. Perfect place to eat for a family of 5. I take a shrimp rice, pad Thai & kids gets burger 🍔 just beside there other food truck.
Walk on the wild side and try something out of your element, it’ll be your new favorite dish. This food is unreal.
Delicious dinner.. salmon and drunken noodles were really good, great stop
Great Thai food
Good Thai food truck.
Had the Drunken Noodles. Delicious! Great food truck. My daughters and I loved it.
Delicious food, quick service.
Way too salty. Been here twice
Amazing food. Freshly made, great flavors, quantity & price point. Quick service & friendly staff. Drunken Noodles are top notch 👍
I got the Drunken noodles with tofu, so tasty, my friend got the lemongrass chicken, also delicious. good portion amounts. and the people working the truck were so friendly!!
새우 최고입니다
스파이시는 5단계까지 있는데 5단계도 크게 맵지는 않아요
Got lunch here right out off the plane, and couldn't expect this to be some of the best food we've gotten on Maui XD.
The drunken noodles and red curry were awesome!
I went back for more Chicken Satay but had a different experience this time. I paid around $14.00 and it was half the chicken I usually get. Instead of 7 or 8 pieces (3 bites per piece), it was 3 pieces and 2 small bite-sized pieces. I don't typically gripe about portion size, however, the price for the quantity was really out of ballance this time. This is not the usual experience that I have at Thai Me Up. I'll go back again and see if this is the new standard.
Great food truck across the street from Costco. Tkai Mee Up has the best Thai food on Maui, in my opinion. I always get 2 items, and 1 is always the Pad Thai.
Get the Thai food and catch a Maui sunset.
Great food! I had seen on Triple D!
** !¡!_Best food I've had in Hawaii_!¡!**
Amazing , I think it was the best food we had in Maui.
(Atmosphere)- verk corky, talking yoda, Mariah Carey prayer candle, a fast food intercom and a maze to the bathroom. I would say definitely eccentric.
(Food)- soooo tasty perfectly seasoned and spiced with portions sizes that are very generous.
(Service)- hands down star of the show the owner in extremely tentative, friendly and just a busy bee.
(Price)- for size and quality I felt like the food is fairly priced.
(Location) Easy to find plenty of park
** !¡!_Best food I've had in Hawaii_!¡!**
The lemongrass fried chicken is BOMB. So light and flavorful. The fried rice is amazing, tons of umami flavor. Excellent food worth a stop on your travels!
Had the shrimp pad Thai - it was really good and spicy. Go for medium spice level.
Vegetarian Tofu options are available for most dishes on request. It’s right opposite Costco, so a great place for after grocery meal or before heading to the airport.
This food truck court is right next to the hotel we are staying at so we decided to check it out. We liked Thai Mee Up so much we went there 2 days in a row LOL. The pad thai and the curry are gluten free and it's the best pad thai I've had in years. The portions were large, the food was on point and it was the least expensive meal we've had on the island. It was one of those meals that 6 months from now, when you want Thai food, you'll wish you could go back.
Live music on Thursdays!
Their food is simply amazing. I highly recommend them. Parking is available in the lot right next to the food trucks. Food came out quickly. The line picked up after 6pm on a Sat break but completely worth the wait. My second time here, I called in advance to pick up and they were friendly and timeIy. Definitely a great pit stop before heading to the airport.
Ordering was fine, but they got confused when the order was ready. Basically, telling me I went to the wrong window. Yet the order was right in front of them. Not sure if they are new or just like telling people that they are doing something wrong. Food is as good as my own. Not sure if I will go back. This place is located in a trailer in a parking lot across from the Costco.
Very tasty, sufficient quantity, fresh food!
You really can’t go wrong with this food truck. Good vibes with live music on a weeknight. Pad Thai and drunken noodles were phenomenal. There are so many other good things on their menu that we couldn’t get to try because we were so full, but we’ll definitely come back for more.
We get take out from Thai me up at least 3 times a month. Dishes are always fresh and consistent. We have tried everything on the menu but the chicken pad thai, cashew tofu and salmon are our favorites. You cannot go wrong with any of these dishes. So yummy and definitely the best thai food on maui.
Really authentic and Del food!
Fried pork ribs are to die for!
Good food
Friendly staff. Great food with reasonable prices.
Excellent food.
Cool location with lots of seating in a food truck area. Loved it.
Thai Mee Up was SO good that my husband & I visited multiple times during our trip. The drunken noodles, pork ribs, and garlic tuna were all excellent. The staff had great recommendations & were very friendly as well!
I got the the fried pork ribs and my husband got the chicken satay. Both were very tasty and well seasoned! The serving size is very generous and a nice place to sit and eat. I especially liked the papaya salad. We had a long layover and this was close by and a perfect lunch with nice ambiance :-)
Absolutely delicious food and pleasant service at this little food truck. Located near Costco along with several other trucks. The Pad Thai was on point - freshly prepared with ingredients and truly delicious! Glad we had a chance to stop by and try this lovely place.
It’s the best Thai on the island. Enjoy!
Was waiting almost 20 minutes and I noticed people who ordered after me were getting their food. I was watching the whole time so I know they didn't call my name. I went up to the window to check and my order was ready and just sitting there. Didn't even get a sorry or nothing. My fiance ordered from one of the other food trucks so we were just waiting for my order. By the time I got my food her stuff was all soggy and cold. I don't understand why they were waiting for me to come to the window while other people's orders were called out when ready. Maybe they cater more to visitors and not the locals. Definitely won't be going back.
In response to owner:
This was at the Kahului food truck across costco gas station.
Worst Thai food ever .
Better food.. also location is much better than the another food park in area.
Lovely Thai food. So close to the airport.
Food Trucks very close to OGG 🤙🏾
Perfect good truck set up. Fantastic chicken pad Thai
So delicious! Highly recommend the Pad See Ew and my kids devoured the garlic noodles. Loved it!
We had the fried rice, drunken noodles and chicken satay. All delicious! Must try when in Maui.
We ordered Lemon grass chicken and green curry and both were yum!! Enjoyed our food truck experience;)!
Wow. Delicious
There is always a line here. I came here 3 nights in a row and I always waited in a bit of a line. That’s how you KNOW it’s great food! Dare I say, this was THE BEST curry I’ve had in my years and years and years of ordering curry. I also tried the pad thai which ranked high up on my list as well! Parking around here isn’t easy, but be patient and you’ll catch someone walking to their “barcode” rental car. Truly incredible Thai food in the heart of The Triangle!
Someone took our order and they could not remake because the ingredients ran out. They randomly, without asking us, switched to another fish which we did not want. No money back so we just had to eat what we did not want. generally taste is ok and server is nice.
This is a must stop when you are in Maui. The Pad Thai was the best 2 meals (had to go back again) I had in Kihei.
Love everything I've ordered! The green curry has the perfect mix of coconut and spice, the crispy garlic shrimp, and the drunken noodles, wow, are perfectly cooked.
Awesome food!
So fresh and delicious!
My favorite place to eat at in maui
Very tasty food and great price. Will return and recommend to others.
Terrific food!
Yummy Thai food in a circle of dood trucks. Listened to great live music while we waited and ate.
My mom and I are avid Thai food lovers and ordered our go-tos. I ordered Chicken Pad Thai and Thai iced tea, and my mom got the Tofu Panang Curry and a Thai iced coffee.
I enjoyed my food very much (but the Pad Thai is on the less sweet side). However, my mom’s Panang Curry tasted like ‘coconut soup with a hint of spice’ and the curry itself was a white cream color rather than the typical orangey red. Also the Thai iced coffee was tasty, but not super strong.
The service was fast and the parking was plentiful. For me, this was a four/five star experience, but for my mom it was a solid one star because of the curry.
Note: if you want to change the spice level, you need to ask about it
One of the best Drunken Noodles I’ve had!
The Ahi was excellent too!
Fast and easy and the food is ono-licious
I got the garlic ahu tuna. Tuna was a bit dry but the garlic sauce was delicious. A bit pricey but I think that's normal for Maui. They had the drunken noodle for sample and I thought it was too salty and may need to be a bit drier.
Solid pick for a quick bite near the airport
I've always eaten the sauteed salmon each time I've gone to Thai Mee Up and it was always delicious and still a descent amount. Today, I'm not sure what happened, maybe a change in cooks, maybe a bad day for the cook, but I was sadly disappointed in the food quality today!
Awesome
Super authentic food. The drunken noodles was off the charts. I’ll get it again. Any day. Any time.
Great food, friendly service, fun experience. Good enough that we went back before leaving town.
Some of the best curry I've ever had in my life, and I've tried a lot! It was incredibly fresh and flavorful, such a great warm comfort food.
Good
Best flavoursome Thai food. Tried most of the dishes. Super delicious kept coming back for more.
Very tasty dishes and at a decent price.
Ordered a red curry with chicken. Got a green curry with veggies with no chicken. When I took it back to them they looked at it and said it’s red curry and mumbled some kind of excuse. Unless I’m colorblind and never had curries it’s definitely green curry!
You can judge yourself with the photo attached. It looks pretty green to me. Never again!
This was the best thing that we got in Hawaii! We absolutely loved the food and are definitely going to come back next time we’re in Maui!
Great food, but small portions! Should give a little more food on each plate
