Outside of Bangkok itself, Bangkok Chef is on point with Thai food. Everything we ordered was very authentic and delicious. Having been to Thailand many times, it is quite a delight to find a gem like Bangkok Chef where they make real Thai food. Not customized to the American palate but real Thai cooking where you can actually smell the galangang and the Nam Pra in the food.
The lady who served us was very polite, professional and very attentive. One step ahead of us.
I highly recommend this place if you happen to be looking for real Thai food on the island.

I ordered one of the most famous dishes of the Thai cuisine in the States, Chicken Pad Thai, the flavor was good, unfortunately the delivery of the dish was disappointing, my Chicken Pad Thai, had only 2 small pieces of chicken, no peanuts, no lime, I got a small bag with chili which was a good detail, so basically I got a bowl of cooked pan fried noodles for $18 bucks.

Foods were ok. We had pad thai and pas si u. Honestly both tasted same, no different in the tastes. They have fruit pudings: mango, taro, coconut, Okinawa sweet potatoes, ……
The service was great. She was nice and friendly. Also the restaurant has a parking next yo it at the left side.

This is my first time ordering from this restaurant. I ordered the tofu green curry with steamed rice, iced Thai tea, and spring rolls. (I'd have more photos but I really just wanted to eat my food. It's so good!) Also, this order was made on Uber Eats. (Takeout)

The green curry is flavorful, fresh, and addicting. It does have a little bit of a spice kick and the coconut milk mellows out the spice. The veggies were tender and the overall portion size is great! The Thai tea was very refreshing and a little sweet. The spring rolls were so tasty, it had a good crunch from the fresh lettuce, the sauce it came with tasted awesome! The packaging the food came in seemed to be in high quality and came in a cute paper bag! The containers the food came in felt very sturdy and the food was still piping hot! Thank you for the great food, I can tell it's made with lots of love! I highly recommend this restaurant! :)

Shady way of handing change with 20.00 missing and not looking at the receipt nor the change and handing me the 20 dollars. Why do business like that. Very disappointing 😞

ordered pad thai and curry... both were flavorless especially the curry which was just spicy but without the flavor?? disappointed will be sticking to thai king boat noodles

I ordered Pad Thai with chicken on Uber Eats and I got pork instead. And the noodle is super soggy and no flavor at all. This is the worst Pad Thai I’ve ever had. Never ordering it again.

I JUST SPENT $27 on Green curry and a side of jasmine rice there are no napkins nor silverware any plastic utensils nothing I’m staying at the Holiday Inn and I’m extremely disappointed! Ridiculous and lazy place. Thumbs down - don’t bother with this place.

Chicken wings went from $10.50 to $14.95 that is 1 hell of a price jump if you ask me! That is for 7 chicken wings 2 piece cucumber and sticky rice add 50 cent and sauce I will never buy that again talk about rip off! Maybe if they were healthy wings but these wings barely had any meat also!

This is a Thai chain restaurant with several around the island. It’s good but there’s better if you’re willing to look around. The prices are a bit high but you get a large portion of food so two people could easily split an entree if on a budget. Easy parking. Make sure you’re very specific about your order and ask them to repeat it to you because they have made several mistakes in the past with my orders, especially if you’re calling it in. I love the convenience and reliability across the different restaurants, the quality remains the same throughout. I just wish it was more affordable!

I ordered super spicy yellow curry with shrimp. Instead I was given bland potato soup. Not sure what's going on in the kitchen at this location but I won't be returning.

Pad si you was okay. Good portions plenty of chicken but could use more veggie flavor, was a little bland. Recommend shrimp eggplant noodle instead it was more flavorful. Nonetheless great service

Used Grubhub tonight for delivery from the King Street location. Everything went fine. Only thing was the Tapioca Dessert I ordered " Banana" was out. I opted for strawberry instead. Just a little disappointed there wasn't fresh strawberries in the Tapioca like the other flavors.

I'm so happy that my husband and I decided to come to this restaurant. First thing I noticed was that super clean and brightly lit. The place was very inviting and lots of tables to choose from. To top it off, you'll get the best service ever.

They are located on King Street across from Kokua Market and next door to Pucks Alley. There's street parking and a small parking lot that's shared with other restaurants.

Since my hubby turned vegetarian, we asked about vegetarian dishes and the waiter mentioned that all dishes can be vegetarian. By adding vegetables and tofu instead of meat or chicken. He was the friendliest and most helpful waiter that I've ever encountered.

The Pad Thai was one of the best I've had. There noodles were cooked just right with the right amount of seasoning and it wasn't dry. I'm not a fan of yellow curry but this was really tasty. The cook added eggplant and broccoli along with bamboo shoots and tofu. We also had vegetarian summer rolls, though I wanted the regular shrimp summer roll. It's thicker and longer than most summer rolls and a sweet peanut sauce.

So if you're a vegetarian or living with one, check this place out! Good food, fast and great service!!

Food was fresh, served, quickly, nicely portioned, and the host is the most attentive and polite ever seen - truly customer caring which is nice to see. To-go orders were also prepared quickly. If you have a taste for thai, definitely recommend giving BangkokChef a try.

King St location, wonderful service, would return solely for that reason. If you want a quick Thai food fix with good ingredients and preparation for the price, this is your place. Green curry with (a bit overcooked) chicken, pad thai with tofu and chicken, spring rolls, stir fries, all good, and NO MSG! They offer delicious, unusual canned beverages, lots of tapioca pudding flavors, and even some house made delightfully thin and crispy taro chips, plain salted or subtly flavored garlic. You can dine in and there is parking available.

Great food and service here. The price is reasonable. Yes on the clean bathroom, if you are wondering.

Love this new location, I don't have to go into Manoa to get Thai food. The parking lot is to the right of the building. The restaurant is clean and service was excellent. The foo was like the other stores but maybe smaller portions. I would have given them 5 stars if I didn't see the lady chef come out of the bathroom with her rubber gloves on:-(

Simple food. This being their Second location, first I believe was in Nuuanuu and the third being Iwilwei. Counter order style. Order & pay, wait for your name to be called the go and pick up. Food is always tasty and affordable. While not a Thai aficionado the workers are of Southeast Asian ancestry so I am assuming that it is authentic.

Their stir fried entrees are really good. Soup not so much.

We were visiting from Vancouver, Canada and really enjoined the neighbourhood. Except for this place. We had lunch here and we decided to serve it in, despite the cheap look of the place. We had to pay upfront, consequently I had to include the tip before being served. Although I went over 15%, the attitude of the girls behind the counter didn't improve in any way, not showing any interest to help us with the order. We waited to be served, but we were just called to pick up from the counter, although there were two girls and none was busy at that moment. The food was served in styrofoam boxes, even if we made it clear from the beginning that we were ordering "for here". The food was nothing special, maybe very specific thai, but definitely not our taste. And worst of all, prices were very high, not to mention the frustration that the tip was definitely not deserved by the grumpy girls.
