Ordered Mongolian beef last night and got a nice sized to go tray about 7”x5”x1”. In the Togo tray, I bet the trays contents were 80% onions and 20% beef. I’d bet that tray had 12+oz of onions and less than 3 oz of beef. This has been an ongoing problem with this restaurant and has continued to get worse. Love the food and flavors, just please stop skimping on the proteins.

Great Thai and Chinese food! We ordered from this place every week since they opened, my favorite is Pad Thai seafood, my husband likes general chicken, it comes with fried rice and soup. Big portions, enough for lunch and dinner. They have lots of vegetarian options and gluten-free options. Girls who work at the front desk are very nice to answer all your questions. Keep supporting local and family businesses.

Food was enjoyable and generous in portion. The staff was quick and efficient, our drinks never got close to empty! The dining area is clean and pleasantly minimal decor with a very good selection of different music playing at a perfect volume. This place is a solid go-to for me. I have A LOT of allergies, and the staff is VERY accommodating. Always on time, always friendly. Happy to give them business as they try VERY hard to please.

Everything was just sooo bland.. There was some sort of fish sauce/oil in the cucumber salad - why do that?? Initially, they were the best part of the meal and then just left a terrible taste in your mouth. Not listed in the ingredients so even the salad is NOT VEGETARIAN

Cooking proper Asian food does not require a large amount of grease/oil. The fish and noodles were swimming oil/grease! We had to throw our entire meals away because we couldn’t eat it. It had sooo much oil/grease in both dishes! Will not return.

We ordered from here for the second time in a row and it was just as good, if not better, than the first time. Food was ready by the time I arrived, no wait. Everything was still hot and fresh. This is our new go-to takeout spot. I wish I had pictures, but our phones did not get the chance to eat first.

I tried this place on a whim. I was craving soup and saw they had coconut chicken and mushroom soup. Why was it the most delicious soup I’ve had in a while. Just simple and delicious! I also ordered the pan fried potstickers crab Rangoon, and sesame chicken with white rice. Everything was hot, fresh and more tasty than I expected. I have a new favorite place! 10/10 👌🏽

The massaman curry looked very bland, and even lacked the yellow coloring that it should have. It looked like it came straight out of the garbage, and then they just cooked together everything in the kitchen sink with it. The Pad See Ew had no sweet flavor, and it just seemed like it had steamed vegetables mixed in with rice noodle. The only great thing from here were the spring rolls and the potstickers. But the two main dishes were money wasted, my husband even tried to put more curry spice in it and fix it, but it could not be helped. Will not be coming back here, but wanted to let others know of my experience.

This is my favorite place to eat in this area. The milk tea and the pad broccoli are my go to. The hostess is always so polite to me, the food comes quick and it never disappoints. The atmosphere is budget, but quite cozy. I can't recommend this enough. 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

This is our local Thai restaurant. We love Thai and although we have had problems in the past we shared our concerns and gave them another chance. We like supporting local businesses. Unfortunately the pad see ew chicken was so salty my husband could not finish it. This was extremely disappointing!

I was so excited to go to this restaurant I drove 30 mins to get to it. They have great customer service and the food came out hot and fast, that’s why I gave it the stars I did. I ordered the combination pad thai and summer rolls. I’ll start with the summer rolls because that’s the only thing I enjoyed. They were perfectly made and the peanut sauce was really good. Now to the pad thai. I have never been so disappointed. It didn’t even taste like pad thai. It was flavorless and didn’t have any heat as I asked for it. Being combination I expected more than 2 shrimp. I wasted my money on this place. I do not suggest anyone order this.

Came here late night, after work right before closing so my expectations weren’t to high. The 2 young ladies at the front was very great assisting me with recommending dishes to try. Outside pad Thai. Pad See Ew I decided on that with veggies & added chicken. Yummy sauce but it was tough to enjoy the flavor fully since the noodles were so clumped together. Crispy fresh veggies were good too, crab Rangoon has a great flavor sweet & fried crispy . Veggie pot stickers were great, I was weary with receiving them for the replacement of sold out summer rolls. But they were good.

I called and ask if they could do the Lemongrass stir fry mild. They said they could but when I got home with my order it was too spicy for me to eat. $20 waisted.

We’ve tried many Thai dishes in many states and this is hands down the best we’ve ever had. If you like mushrooms you need to try the Spicy Mongolian! The Thai Tea was great and we had Green Tea Ice Cream for dessert. So glad we gave this place a try!

First time ordering from this restaurant via on-line. Followed all instructions per the website. Called as instructed giving the last 4 digits of my phone number..only to be asked my name and told my order is ready...then was hung up on before I could utter a word.

Got the Garlic Beef with stir fried rice, coconut soup, and a side salad home. Only to find a small portion of beef and watered down soup, plus another salad packed in with the bee and some noodles. Disappointed in the lack of flavour.....and no dressing for the salad; just a random sauce and soy sauce packets. I spent $28... practically for a handful of beef..with side salad, soup, and fried rice (mind you, rice comes with the meal).

I used to love this place and frequent it often, but tonight will be our last visit. I’m home with a horrible cold and my husband went to pick up some curry for me. First spoonful I pull out a rotten piece of potato. Second spoonful I discover that none of the shrimp have been deveined. Third spoonful I find a chunk of meat (and I don’t eat meat).

My sons and I come about once a month. The food is GREAT! My favorite is the Amazing.. Service is always GREAT! Nice and clean

I've become a regular customer of theirs as it is a nearby local restaurant, I find myself constantly craving the pad see ew dish, love the flavor and everything is cooked to perfection, also very friendly and welcoming staff! Highly recommend to anybody in the area, great prices for a huge portion of food in every dish.

I went to this restaurant a couple nights ago, and everything was great! Great customer service, low wait times, and some of the best food I've had in a while (they even added a little spice to my dish for me). I had the Pad Wood Sen, my mom got the Pad Thai, and we shared some of the coconut soup. I highly recommend getting the Pad Wood Sen and the coconut soup, and the Pad Thai was great as well, but definitely not my favorite dish of the ones we tried. I'm sure we'll come back again soon!

Sweet Basil is serving in the dining room again! Mingxia was eager to give us a great experience, and she delivered! My companion had questions about various noodles and she pulled up pictures on her tablet so he could see what they were like. We ordered chicken satay, coconut chicken soup, Masaman curry, and cashew chicken. Sorry no photos, but the food looked as appetizing as it tasted. Everything is clean - it just needs you!

This is so bad I wish i could give it a zero but I am forced to give it a 1 😭 the general tso breaded chicken is SUPER SOGGY & GREASY. It said it came with "a side of Brocolli " and instead there was super soggy broccoli mixed in with the chicken and only like 4 pieces at that. I also ordered Jasmine Rice and that was the only thing that was fine ish...the meal came with fried rice....this was the saddest excuse for fried rice ive ever experienced. The rice seems to be just jasmine rice with a little bit of soy sauce squirted in...like why??? There's no peas no carrots no egg....i don't understand why this is so far removed from what should have been given to me. I ordered in Grubhub but that should NEVER mean a decline in quality. Dont waste your money. Don't go here
UPDATE: to the owners response. NO. More sauce does NOT equate to soggy food. There are plenty of other restaurants of various cuisines that offer a fried chicken breast dish with sauce and the chicken is CRISPY not soggy. Just because your business cannot or will not accomplish this, does not mean it is not (quite commonly) attainable. You also did not address the horrible excuse for fried rice....so quit digging and just admit you did a bad job this time. Don't worry I won't order again

The place was clean and the associates were pleasant, but the food was really basic. I ordered sesame chicken and a order of a order of general tso chicken and the sauce was exactly the same the only difference was the sesame seeds on the sesame chicken.
The chicken itself was overly breaded and not much chicken on the inside. The fried rice was just that, light soy sauce and nothing else no flavor. I also ordered coconut soup and it was watery and bland. The salad that came with the dinner combo literally had 1 tomato and 1 cucumber. I wanted Sweet Basil Asian Kitchen to be a hit because it so close to me, but sadly it was a Bust.

Okay, ready? I'm ridiculous and order a bunch of things when I first try a place. We had the potstickers, which were awesome, and the sauce with them was very tasty. The fried spring rolls were good, but not to-die-for. The coconut soup is fantastic and def worth getting!! My hubs had medium spicy basil chicken and fried rice. He would not order that again, but he would order from this place again. I had what was labeled as "Amazing" on the menu -- chicken, broccoli, peanut sauce, and fried rice. I would ABSOLUTELY order that again. Since there was so much food, I actually had some fried rice mixed with the remainder of the coconut soup the next day, which was also delish. And if you throw leftover Amazing in the wok, it reheats perfectly. 🤤

Panda Express version of Thai food? None of our food was very good. It’s flavorless, spiceless, and kind of greasy. The staff are nice, and I appreciate the contactless pickup, but I would pass on it most of the time.

First they wouldn’t let me and my wife both have a tea. So i had to get a soda which was brought out in a bottle for me to pure in a cup myself. When our food came out the curry smelt and tasted rotten so I sent it back. I couldn’t stomach his Pad Thai and basil beef, the noodles were slimy and the meet was flavorless and over cooked. We asked to have just my Curry removed and they refused. Charged us $84.46 then had the nerve to ask us if we’d ever had curry before.

It’s very rare to get Thai tea. To continue, their Thai milk tea was absolutely phenomenal I regret not ordering more than one. I also purchased their potstickers and the sauce was also indescribable amazing. Those two alone would suffice for me however, I’m open to trying new places to compare. I would highly recommend and I will go back for more Thai milk tea.

Pics look wayyyyy better than the actual taste. We eat Thai food quite often and decided to give this place a try. We ordered Pad Thai and Basil fried rice with is a staple dish at Thai restaurants. All I can say we took a few mouth fulls and tossed it all in the trash. Pad Thai was over cooked and the color was brown which the sauce has more of a orange tint normally. There was a waxy after taste. It was just not good!

This restaurant is local to me and the food is very good; however on Friday 8/6/21, I ordered from the lunch menu for the first time. I ordered my takeout at 1:30 so my order was ready around 2:00 pm. The lunch menu ends at 3. Fortunately I live nearby because when we got our food home the spring rolls were delicious, but the cashew nut chicken and the spicy basil tofu were both visibly burned. You could smell the burned food. You could also taste it. I was very disappointed that the lady (I am not sure if she was the owner or not) tried to initially tell me that the food was cooked as ordered despite seeing the burned tofu, green beans and chicken. She did take the food back and they replaced our meals and the food was good. Unfortunately when I picked up my food she told me next time to make sure I told them not to burn my food. The idea that burned food is something I should say I don't want is ridiculous to me and as a customer I found her statement disheartening so even though I like the food I can't say that I will order from them again as I value good food and good customer service.

I discovered this place when I was in the area and i decided to try it out I had the pad-see-ew and the vegetable potstickers. Honestly I had high hopes for this place but the pad-see-ew was highly disappointing the noodles was slimy and not so tasty at all. The broccoli didn’t even taste right nor cooked all the way through.less to say The vegetable pot stickers was the only thing I ate that tasted decent.

Ordered through Uber eats. Wanted to try a new Thai place and was very disappointed by this place. Ordered the fried rice and pad kee mao. The rice was ok, nothing special at all. But the pad kee mao was disgusting. Also ordered the spring rolls which were inedible.

When they're available for sit-down service, the service is friendly and accurate. Regardless of how you get your food, it's some of the best in the area, and really quite flavorful. We tend to order from them moreso than other restaurants due to all this.

Great tasting food with super fresh vegetables

We've ordered from them a few times now and it's been delicious each time! Loved the coconut soup and pad thai especially. They were prompt and food was hot and fresh! Will definitely be making regular trips to Sweet Basil.

This was our first experience with this restaurant. We used Door Dash for the delivery. This food was NOT good. It did arrive hot. Tom Yum soup tasted like colored water. The beef salad was soggy and extremely bland. The chicken Sate was dry and chicken Coconut soup had no flavor. Sorry for the bad review...I rarely leave them ..but someone in management needs to do a taste taste. We ended up throwing the food away and having pancakes for dinner.

I’d recommend Top Spice, Thai Siam, or Surin for amazing authentic Thai food. This tastes like a franchised, watered down version of Thai dishes. Not good. Nothing special. I’ve given it quite a few chances👎

UPDATE: 05/18/2020 - I have to add fried rice to my list of exceptions at this place. I'm not talking about the fried rice dishes that are entrees themselves. Those are actually quite good. I'm talking about the fried rice that would come as a side to another dish, like the pepper steak or shaking beef. Honestly, I've never had that side of friend rice accompaniment be good anywhere, and Sweet Basil's is no exception. It looks and tastes like 3 day old steamed rice, that was reheated in a frying pan with a little soy sauce, just like everywhere else I've ever had it from, except not even frozen veggies or scrambled egg in theirs. Just dry and flavorless. Do NOT ruin their amazing main entrees by forgetting to request steam rice instead of fried. I had to deduct a star for how easy it is to make good fried rice but still not even when you make almost everything else so good.

Almost everything I've ever had here is fantastic, with the exception of the soup and/or salad that comes with the dinners. Both are a complete after thought, and honestly, you might as well tell them not to even bother giving them to you. That being said, again, absolutely everything else I've ever eaten from here has been fantastic! The best pepper steak I've ever had in my life, by a mile, and honestly, one of the best Asian dishes I've had in all of metro Atlanta. Definitely give this place a try if you're looking for authentic Asian food in Lilburn/Stone Mountain.

Very delicious summer rolls and coconut soup. General tso chicken. Was fresh and tasty

Went to UPS store and the food smell of the restaurant next door was so good! It was a new restaurant and we weren't sure about. UPS owner said it was 5 star, so we took a chance and we were so glad we did. We ordered coconut soup, pot stickers and chicken fried rice. We will be coming here more often.

We've gone to Seeet Basil 6-7 times, genuine thai food. Their food is deliciously good, Flavor excellent, clean as can be. We have try the shrimp fried rice and it's so tasty and good . Big portions and reasonable prices.

Surprisingly bad. I really enjoy Thai food and try to try different Thai restaurants. I ordered over the phone and picked up my order. The food was surprisingly disappointing. Really really bad.

My son and I visited yesterday and we were really impressed with the restaurant. The food was tasty and presented nicely. The staff was friendly and the decor was new. It's a great place to get a bite to eat.

Very tasty. Portions are larger when you eat inside restaurant. So eat inside and take the rest home, it literally filled the to go box after I ate half of my dinner.

If you love Thai food DO NOT eat here. If you are brand new to Thai food and want to hate it, go ahead and try this place. We ordered to-go, so I cannot speak to the service. The portion APPEARED to be adequate for the lofty price; however, when I got home, I realized we had a giant pile of overcooked, clumped, sticky, greasy noodles and little else. My dish was supposed to have mushrooms and bell pepper. I believe I had two tiny strips of each. My chicken was tough and tasteless. Honestly, the entire dish was so dry and tasteless, I had to drown it in soy sauce to stomach it at all. My husband’s Pad Thai was the same way. If you own a Thai Restaurant and screw up Pad Thai, close your doors!

Yummy! Portions are quite large too. Enjoyed the coconut soup loaded with chicken and mushrooms. The basil rolls were refreshing. The shrimp pad thai was spiced just right too.

Fabulous Thai cuisine. Everything was delish! The service was excellent. This is the best kept secret in the Lilburn/Stone Mountain area.

DELICIOUS!! My family had general tso chicken, Mongolian beef, edamame, crab Rangoon and the chicken soup. Everything was awesome! Fast and friendly service. We will definitely make this a regular dinner event!

The Green Thai Curry was very good and the portions were generous. I was very surprised to find this hole in the wall. Will be back again soon!
