My family and I tried the chicken satay, tuna muchi and spring rolls for appetizers, all amazing especially the tuna muchi 🤤 For entrees we had shrimp pad thai, pineapple fried rice, super rainbow roll, moringa roll and mt. fuji roll. For dessert we had the mango sticky rice, never had anything like it SO SO GOOD! Everything was top notch and so gorgeously plated! We will be back!

Yummy first experience at Moringa! We ordered Thai iced teas, spring rolls, Tom kha, and pad see ew (spicy). The Thai iced teas were great. The Pad Se Ew was delicious and perfectly spicy! The Tom Kha was ok - not my favorite I’ve ever tried, could be better. Service was a bit slow and it seemed as though the AC was out that day so it was a little hot in the restaurant. They have just opened recently so I am sure they are still working out the kinks! Definitely worth a visit for quality Thai food in Monroe, GA area!

We’ve been to one other Thai place in Athens and weren’t huge fans. But this place shocked us with the amazing food and flavor! My husband got the red curry and as someone who typically hates curry…I thought it was delicious! I got the tofu garlic and black pepper stir fry - that was also delicious. I don’t typically get vegetarian meals, but the tofu had so much flavor and I loved it. Would definitely recommend this place and we’ll be back to try their sushi and other yummy stuff! This place was also very clean and welcoming - great staff!

Came with my aunt to try the new Thai restaurant in Monroe. Beautiful space. The Thai iced tea was delicious and refreshing. We shared the spring rolls which were crispy and delicious with the dipping sauce. My aunt had never had Thai food before and she got the Pad See Ew, which she said was delicious and loved it. I got the Panang Curry with chicken and tofu. It was superb, perfectly spicy with the sweet from the bell peppers and coconut milk. I was so happy the rice was cooked to perfection as well. We took some to go for my grandmother, Chicken Thai Fried Rice, no picture but she loved it better than Chinese fried rice! Can’t wait to go back and try their other menu items.

I worked in a Sushi restaurant in Destin Florida called Harbor Docks for ten years so I know good fresh sushi. I ordered the Yellowtail roll and beef basil. Both dishes were truly delicious and they even do the sushi rice perfect. I highly recommend this restaurant. Thank you Woody for bringing some culture to our little town.

Pricey dishes. I can get similar dishes cheaper, but the meals did not disappoint. Sometimes, it's the experience and location you buy into. That is what this place is. The staff was super. I was seated right away. Service and food were quick. My only suggestion is to have sauce options available.

I'm very thankful we have this restaurant in Monroe. It has a friendly, clean atmosphere and the food is great. I lived in Athens 15 years and it's better I think than any of the Thai places that were over there.

The only thing that was good was the food and it wasn't even that great. For starters the waiter didn't come to our table at all for at least 10 minutes. He would rather clean tables than serve customers. (There were only 3 tables with people at it including us) When we finally got to order he would cut us off while talking. Took another 10 minutes just to get our waters. We ordered crab rolls, 2 coconut soups, and a salad for appetizers and then we got 2 California rolls and a ahi poke bowl with a side of rice. Our entrees came out before our appetizers and when asked where the appetizers were he gave cut us off and "ya, it coming" but still took us 5 minutes to even get that. When we got the side of rice it was day old rice, luke warm and hard. Ginger was old and browning. Then while we were paying he looked over our shoulders and was looking at the tips we were going to put and we pressed skip tip because we're leaving a cash tip and before we got the cash out he walked away and was looking at me with a dirty look before he saw the tip. Then changed his act once he saw money at the end. We were looking arouno and saw tables around us not happy with service there as well. OVERALL the fish was the only good thing and it was ok at best.

We have been wanting to come here since it opened and were not disappointed! Everything was excellent and very tasty.

Food was great but the service was extremely slow and of poor quality. They are severely understaffed for the amount of customers in there today.

Absolutely love this place. The food is amazing and our order is always correct and beautiful. Please go there and help keep this place in Monroe!!

I eat a good amount of Thai, and I must say that I am disappointed. We ordered cashew chicken... and then the lauded (in some reviews) pad see ew. *Both* of them tasted nothing like what I would call Thai.

The cashew chicken tasted more Chinese than Thai. As for the pad see ew, the flavour was lacky. Nothing strong and punchy, or as layered or interesting as what I expect my Thai food to be. To be fair, we indicated a preference for non-spicy food; but spice is not all there is to Thai food!

Last but not least, I don't know if you would consider it a sign (I would), but when the only cutlery given is a fork, with no spoon... you lose some level of authenticity. I'm not sure that any self-respecting Asian eats Asian food with only a fork!

So happy to have this restaurant in Monroe! Good sushi, love the pad thai and the massaman curry. Dinner and lunch equally good-

EXTRA MILE!
Even with the dining room half full and the jazz music playing, our 4 month old was able to fall asleep. The staff adjusted their routes to serve our table and keep him asleep. It didn't go unnoticed.

Crab rolls are amazing and fresh, Thia iced tea is just sweet enough!

This was our second time dining at Moringa, and once again, it did not disappoint. The service was attentive and friendly from the moment we walked in. I had the Japanese Ramen, which was flavorful and perfectly balanced, while my wife enjoyed the chicken stir-fry—both dishes were spot on. I also tried the Atomic Roll from their sushi menu, and it was fantastic, with just the right amount of spice. We will definitely be regulars here. Highly recommend Moringa for anyone looking for great food and excellent service in Monroe!

My family and I eat here at least twice a week. We use to drive all the way to snellville or Duluth to get good Thai food so we are thrilled with this restaurant and with the quality of the food. I highly recommend it. Our favorites are the coconut soup, tuna mochi, drunken noodles and spring rolls!! Love it.

Thai tea is amazing! All of our food was fantastic. Excellent addition to downtown, I will definitely be back. Their takoyaki and sticky rice are wonderful!

Delicious food! My husband and I went here for dinner tonight and we got sushi, takoyaki, a stir fry, and some sticky rice and everything was fantastic. Service was great too! Plus their Thai tea is delicious! We’ll be back!

Excellent service & food

The food is consistently amazing!

I was really excited to try this restaurant because I love Thai food, but was extremely disappointed that, after coming in and sitting, no one came to my table to even offer a menu or take a drink order after 10 minutes of me being there. There were at least 3 servers available who waited on other tables, but none came to mine even though the servers repeated looked at my table. I never want to assume racism, but I cannot help it in this situation. We left after about 10-15 minutes of no service. Very disappointing.

Amazing Thai in the heart of Monroe. Highly recommended! My wife and I brought our children and had a great time. The hostess was patient and kind. We will be coming back.

To get good Thai food around here, we were having to drive all the way to Snellville. I am happy to say we will no longer be making that drive!!! This is the place y’all! Everything we had was SO good. 10/10 recommend the coconut chicken soup and Thai tea. I will say the portions are a little small but the food was absolutely delicious.

The food was good, the decor fun, the staff attentive and friendly, one star off of atmosphere because I’m not a fan of music louder than background level. All and all we will definitely be back.

Was so excited a Thai restaurant came to Monroe, and wow is it good! Just tried take out tonight. It's freaking DELICIOUS! The best spring rolls ever - super duper crispy! Also got Pad Thai with yummy large tender shrimp, Eggplant Stir Fry with even yummier shrimp, and amazing mussels! I can't wait to eat in the restaurant which is very snazzily decorated, and the staff is very friendly. I highly recommend!!!

We have dined in and gotten take out, both times our food was amazing! The sushi and curries have so much flavor! We really enjoyed the atmosphere as well. This little town has been needing a place like this and I am happy to say it does not disappoint!

Hands down best Thai I have had! We are huge fans of Mama Nings in Watkinsville and this beats them. I had the Pad see ew with beef and my husband had the Masaman Curry. We have also had the Tom kha soup, the Mt Fuji roll, the Monroe roll and the crispy crab rolls. So glad to have them in Monroe!

I went with my toddler. We had spring rolls, gyosas and Pad See Iu. Everything was perfect. We love eating Thai food and we are beyond happy we have a very good one near by. Welcome to Monroe!

Family was passing through and we decided to stop for Thai and check out the downtown area. We were expecting a lot more from this place given the 5 star reviews. The space feels a bit cramped and the presentation of the food outshined the taste. Service was good, just disappointed in the food which seemed to lack flavor but be plenty with…….salt?

We went the first day they were open! They did such a great job reviving this location. The atmosphere is so welcoming.

The food is fantastic! It took a little long to get food, but it was definitely worth the wait! We will be loyal customers as long as they are here!
