My daughter and I stop in at this location to have lunch. We absolutely loved our food , everything thing that we order was so delicious. Especially, the egg rolls, it difficult to find good veggie egg rolls. 😃 However, we definitely add this cute little place into our rotation of restaurants.

This was our first time eating here and it was amazing! The atmosphere and service was spectacular! And we will be revisiting again!

Food prices are affordable. They have lotsa variety of Thai Dishes, starting from Papaya Salads, Tom Yum, Mango sticky rice, pad Thai, Thai tea, etc.
Now food taste is more americanized, they're not that authentic anymore.
But if you wanna try what of similar to Thai Dishes yes just come to this restaurants.
This restaurant really has nice and clean place also it looks very nice with white linen tables.
Very good people working there, but expect a slow service as seems they don't have enough staffs, I mean it's small restaurant.
I still would recommend this place thou.

Our third visit, and each one has been a treat. The restaurant is a gem, hidden in a strip shopping center. Very nice décor, light classical music - they've done a remarkable job giving the place an elegant ambience. There's no need to dress up, but the place is so nice it makes me WANT to... The service is polite and attentive without being intrusive. The menu has a nice selection of interesting appetizers, and a wide selection of entrees in every category you would expect, including vegetarian dishes. They offer four levels of spiciness with most dishes (mild, medium, spicy and very spicy). On my two previous visits I had different dishes made with duck, and they were both excellent. Today was the Mango and Sweet Basil Pork - and it was just perfect. They really make an effort, even with the presentation. Each time I leave the restaurant I'm pleasantly full, but still carrying a bag with leftovers to enjoy the next day. If you're searching for a new favorite Thai place, this is it!

This was our first time here and it was a 10/10 experience. The customer service was incredible and the food was delicious and fresh. We started with veggie egg rolls and Thai chariot wings. Our entrees were sweet and sour chicken with white rice and the shrimp drunken noodles. I would get my noodles spicier next time, but this is definitely a new go to spot for us.

I ordered through uber eats and everything was really delicious and fresh and hot. I would definitely order again. I had the chicken pad thai crab rangoon which was the best I’ve had in a while and the fried banana with ice cream 10/10

This is a family owned and operated restaurant. It's so cute on the inside, and the food and service are amazing. They cook everything fresh, and the family is so sweet. When you order, you will have a small wait because everything is made fresh, but the quality of the food and service is worth it.

I had the spicy Bamboo and asked for Very Spicy option but it was bland like they put no seasoning at all. Very disappointing is what it ended up being.

Easily the best green curry South of Atlanta! The Pho was also the best we've had in Mcdonough. The broth made you want to live in it and the add-ins were super fresh.

This was our first time ordering from Thai Chariot and we were impressed! First of all, their website was super-easy to navigate and to place our order. As we did takeout, we immediately noticed the way they packaged our food in a nicely folded brown paper bag, and the way that the food was placed inside containers-very differnt from what we're used to. The service was so friendly, and the atmosphere very peaceful. We'll definitely consider eating inside next time! The food was excellent! We tried several dishes just to see how they were prepared and each and every item was very satisfying. The spring rolls were ample and very fresh. The calamari was firm, meaty and not greasy-a plus! Same for the crab rangoon-not greasy and actually fresher and more flavorable than what we're used to. The pad thai was some of the best we've had, as was the masaman tofu. The level of spices and flavors for each dish just seemed to be perfectly blended. I was completely surprised by this gem in the Publix parking lot. The ambience was simple, clean and relaxing. The owner was alone when we arrived running the front and kitchen but was welcoming pleasant and efficient. My husband and I ordered many of our standard favorites: Coconut soup, spicy beef salad, coconut shrimp, crab Rangoon. They didn’t miss, everything was delicious and fresh. I’m so excited this excellent establishment is so close to home.

Food is absolutely delicious! Atmosphere is so nice and love how they have the setting inside. I do not like that you sit there for over a hour to get your food because there was too many to go orders ahead of us . An extra Cook would do the trick 😊. Service from the staff is absolutely great and recommend it highly!

Not authentic Thai food. I got the pad Thai and the sauce was off also the noodles wasn’t correct. When is it that ever that thick? Is that pho rice noodles ? Didn’t even come with a slice of lime .

I decided to give this place a try because the reviews were pretty decent but I do not recommend wasting your time with this place. I placed a delivery order through UberEats and waited an hour for the order to be prepared. I eventually called up to the restaurant just as UberEats cancelled the order stating the restaurant was unable to fulfill it after they sent 4 drivers to pick up the order. During the call I asked if the order was ready and was told that yes it was and 4 drivers had already come to try to deliver it but they would make sure the next driver received it. I stated that because UberEats had already cancelled the order I would come to the restaurant to pick it up myself. I asked if the order would be ready when I got there since I had already been told that it was ready to be handed to the delivery driver and the person I was speaking with said yes. It would be ready. Upon arrival I walked in to ask for my order only to be asked if I had contacted UberEats because the order was given to the first driver who showed up.

Between the contradictory stories and the poor service (because it doesn’t matter who the order was given to. I called and said that I was coming personally to get the order so it should’ve been prepared after that discussion was had) this restaurant is NOT worth the poor service.

The Volcano Chicken is delicious, and there are a good variety of other options on the menu. It's a really small place, so if you have a larger party and are dining in, you may want to call ahead. The service is a bit slow, but the staff are all so nice it's kind of hard to be upset about it. I'll definitely go back.

Classy and clean restaurant that serves affordable authentic Thai food. Had the Sum Tom Thai salad, Drunken Noodles, and Mango Sticky rice. Everything was excellent. The employees here are also so kind and great servers. A+ experience.

This cozy quaint restaurant is the best around. If you want authentic Thai cuisine without being overly priced then look no further. I enjoyed my dining experience here and can’t wait to bring my family on the next trip.

This is the best Thai food restaurant that I know of in the Conyers/Stockbridge/McDonough area. I have consistently been going here for the past few months and every meal I’ve gotten I have enjoyed. The customer service is always friendly and the dining experience is perfect for a date night. I highly recommend this restaurant to anybody who wants great Thai food in the area. You will not be disappointed!

Tucked into a strip mall you’ll find the tiny Thai Chariot. It’s clean and nicely decorated. There’s plenty of parking and the restaurant is handicap accessible. We had beef larb, masaman curry chicken and Pud see euw. The servings were generous and we took some home for tomorrow. Our server kept the water glasses filled. We enjoyed our meal and will be back soon now that we have discovered good Thai food in our area.

We have been coming here for just over a year and have never had a bad meal or experience. The flavors in every item and impeccable. The volcano chicken is my favorite. I always have a hard time ordering because I want to try another item but I am torn between my historic favorites. The owners go above and beyond to serve. We love Thai Chariot.

We were OTW home from a leisure trip and looking for something different and just happened to see this on our route. What a great little gem we stumbled upon! The food was SO GOOD! McDonough locals - you should be regulars! We did go when no one was there so the service was good even if a little awkward. The atmosphere was very subdued, but neat and sufficient. If we are back this way would definitely take the time to eat here!

Was expecting better after having read the positive google reviews prior to coming here. I ordered vegetable egg rolls ( equivalent to spring rolls at Chinese restaurants) and oh my gosh they were a complete waste of my money. $6 got me spring rolls from any grocery store freezer section. Just terrible. I really thought I would be getting homemade egg rolls (spring rolls) here but no, please don’t waste your money. The Thai shrimp fried rice was ok, but did not come with a selection between mild, medium or spicy as with many Thai restaurants. Instead it tasted mild and somewhat bland. Overall I was not impressed and was expecting much better.

Completely filled with crab meat, cream cheese and green onions. Not a bunch of fried wonton sticking out. I ordered online and got the pineapple fried rice with shrimp as the meat option. However, the reason I'm rating Thai Chariot 3 stars in because I was given only 5 shrimp (count them...FIVE), in sea of rice and vegetables, when I got home and sat down to eat.
Five shrimp is not enough when they charge you $2.00 extra for the shrimp option. The food tasted good; however, I won't be back.

Nicely decorated in simple but elegant. The food is great. I ordered spicy curry it wasn't spicy enough for me but it tasted great.

The people working up front were very kind. It is decorated very nice. The food was just okay. I’ve ate at a lot of Thai restaurants and the drunken noodles here were probably the worst. Really dry with barely any sauce and not very flavorful. It is also prepared with ingredients that I haven’t seen at any other Thai place. I’ve had them here twice and the same result both times.

Food was excellent and service, especially the Panang Salmon. My first time trying it and it was very tasteful. I recommend this dish to anyway who would come here.

Super clean restaurant with excellent service! I had the Volcano Duck and my wife shared the Pad Thai Chicken and we both loved the taste. We are traveling from Florida and happy we stopped here.

Waiter arrived 15 mins after opening. Brought wrong order out then replaced with a dish that had no flavor. I went to pay and they charged me almost $20 too much then voided it. They had a good attitude but I’m pretty disappointed.

Best Thai spot in McDonough

Got into town late and had a taste for Thai. The spot that was close to our hotel was closed so we found this one. So glad we did. It was everything! I ordered the Garlic Delight with a bowl of Thai Coconut Soup and it was one of the tastiest, healthiest meals I’ve had in a long time. Cooked fresh pretty much before our eyes, the kitchen crew was VERY clean and so was their environment. The woman who took our order was soooooooooo nice and patient, despite her being solo and having tons to do. All in all, it was such a welcoming experience that we will definitely be back. Highly recommend.

I haven't had pad Thai in a while, and this was better than most of the other restaurants where I have eaten. The chicken satay was yummy. I ordered my pad Thai medium hot and it had the perfect amount of heat. My mother is from Thailand, and some of her friends were professional chefs and this is about as good as it gets. I will be back.

Allergy Issues? Beware! Although the food is very good here, the restaurant does not cater well to persons with allergies. While they seem to understand the request, my husband has had hives after every visit to this restaurant. I’ve been to Thailand twice and this is the most authentic pad thai I’ve ever had in the U.S. I also enjoyed a veggie spring roll and the dipping sauces were incredible. The wrap did seem to miss the cilantro and mint I’m accustomed to but that certainly didn’t take away from the taste. The atmosphere is nice enough to go for a date or you can just enjoy a nice meal by yourself. I highly recommend Thai Chariot and will definitely be back again!

Went on Sunday afternoon. Everything about this place was just quaint. The restaurant itself is small, but very neat and well decorated. The wait staff was polite and professional.

Food was nasty and disgusting . This is a 14.00 plate shrimp black pepper. 5 shrimp, poorly made. Iceberg Lettuce instead of cabbage, no carrots. $5 dollar upcharge for fried rice. I called the owner to express my concerns, but I guess she is ok having a restaurant that sells low quality food. I try to support the new businesses in the community but I’m sorry this is not authentic Thai cuisine.

This is a fantastic new restaurant with great food and a wonderful atmosphere. The service is kind and professional. Once you eat from here, you'll be back. This is clearly one of the best Thai Restaurants you will eat from.

My husband and I waited anxiously for this restaurant to open, and became fast regulars! The owners are such wonderful people and always greet us with smiles and a hello. Best Thai food we’ve had since we moved to Georgia.

Really nice ambiance… chicken coconut soup was really good. Pad thai was good and stir fried glass noodles were good as well. We waited about 40 minutes for our food. It was a weekend after 8pm so it expected. But the hostess and her daughter apologized and were super nice.

More of a neutral review thus far, wanted to try this place. One of my pet peeves is when I walk into a place of business, I like to be at least acknowledged. I stood there, signalled to the elder waitress if I could sit anywhere and she looked dead at me and turned her face. Normally I would have left then. Will post review if I ever get my food.

Nice, fresh decor and very clean. Order drunken noodles with a spicy level. It was one of the best drunken noodles I've had on the Southside. The menu has some of my favorite dishes. This place has flavorful food prepared with high quality ingredients. It's fresh and authentic to traditional Thai cuisine.

I can’t tell you how the food tastes because this restaurant wasted my time today. I ordered to go via door dash. Waited over 20 minutes and drove to pick up my order. When I arrived, I was told that they didn’t have a chef to cook any food and the person working did not know how to operate the door dash system to cancel my order. I will never order from here again. I can’t get my wasted time or gas back.

Food was decent. Could be a little more flavorful. Asked for chicken with only a few vegetables cause restaurants are notorious for doing exactly this. $12 for 5 pieces of chicken and the rest is barely edible beans. If I wanted a bean dish, I would’ve ordered a bean dish. I would suggest getting orders correct and maybe giving people some chicken when they ordered chicken. Also takeout time was way off. 15 min time frame turned into a 30 min wait. I wanted to give this place a higher rating, but they still need improvement. Decent for Mcdonough though.

Edit: Gave them a few weeks and went again & it was so worth the second chance! Order was on Point, ready by the time I got there, much more flavorful, much more meat, & still the same great service. Oh and I LOVE that they put their hot rice in a foil vs directly on the styrofoam. 99% of places just put hot foods directly on the foam and you’re basically eating some polystyrene along with your meal. This place doesn’t. It’s the small things. Can’t wait to try the rest of their menu.

The place looks like a small restaurant with affordable prices and its portions are good. I ordered the vegetarian Tofu and mix vegetables spicy. It fantastic. If I can rate this place out of 10 it would 12 out of 10. I wish they had a bigger space because they would be amazing with their food.

Best Thai place locally. I always get the same thing at any Thai place, Panang Curry. Most of the other places, the curry sauce is pretty thin and watery. Here the sauce was wonderfully creamy and delicious. I'll definitely be back.

Yum!!!! I was so excited to see a Thai restaurant open up so close to my house. I love thai food and crave it, especially now that I'm pregnant. I was very pleased with how clean and classy the restaurant was and will definitely dine in next time. I ordered the yellow curry with chicken and veggie Tom Kha soup- I would highly recommend this to everyone. The veggies are fresh and crisp, you can definitely tell everything was freshly cooked. I'll be going back again and again!!

Great dinner. Ordered Pud Ki Tee (lots of veggies & pork in coconut sauce) & Pineapple-chicken Fried Rice, my favorite. Veggie Spring Roll very good. Will definitely go back.

Owned by the sweetest family, this Thai restaurant serves some of the best Thai food south of Atlanta! Owners are friendly and take the time to know your name! During my two visits I’ve ordered the green curry, massaman curry, and fresh spring rolls. Each dish tasted authentic.

If you want authentic Thai food, this is the place to go!

Food was just ok. I ordered the drunken noodles and my wife ordered the seafood fried rice. Food was not flavorful enough. Since they are new I will give them another chance.

This was a great experience. All the staff was polite and well organized. The food was served hot and tasted great. I chose the Massaman Beef Curry and some eggroll on the lunch menu. Enjoyed the ambience.

First time at restaurant and the food was excellent. Food was cooked with fresh ingredients that's an added plus. The portion size was as it should be, really don't understand the people that complain about it. Apparently, they don't dine outside Henry County. Will return again.

This not how call deep fry calamari. Sad to say food not done right.Drunking noodle were dry & pea in fried rice frozen not well cook. Amount of food not even enough to paid $45 of food. There some dishes in menu when I order they can’t cook that item why the hell place it in menu for. What a disappointment. Wouldn’t be next time order. I think best Thai restaurants in Mcdonough ga. I don’t mind they charge more but please give me more foods. The lady owner is just so cheap. I ordered $30 just for me to eat and still so hungry. Both beef and papaya salads don’t come with rice so I bought a bowl of rice for $3 and got about 2 scoops of rice. I don’t mind paying more but things have to be right. This is my first time trying and will be my last. I don’t like when owners being so cheap especially when you first opened.

Fantastic Thai food!

I grew up on Thai food and the primary thing I look for in Thai food is the color of the Pad Thai. Super Americanized Pad Thai tends to be really red colored. The Pad Thai here is legit and everything else we had was fantastic as well. Kind owners, good food, nice aesthetic for dine in as well!

We had the Chicken Drunken Noodles (Pad Kee Mao), Shrimp Pad Thai, Chicken Satays, Crispy Squid, and Thai Chariot Chicken Wings.

Can’t wait to go back!

The food was absolutely delicious, definitely some of the best Thai food I've had in Georgia. The staff was very kind and helpful. Our food was a little slow coming out, but it's completely understandable since they just opened and will get better with time. Highly recommend, support local business!!!

Tried the fried rice and chicken egg rolls. Everything tasted great. Mom and daughter were very kind.
