Traditional Thai fare plus Japanese sushi & teriyaki dishes served in low-key, green-hued surrounds.
Awesome Thai & Hibachi. We were new to town and locals recommended it. We stopped by and it was much bigger than we'd expected. We were seated quickly and Chad arrived quickly to welcome us to his section. Learning we were new, he took the time to learn it preferences and recommend several options. Drinks and food arrived shortly and was fresh and hot. We loved his recommendations and look forward to returning.
The food was decent, and the service felt pretty good overall. The atmosphere had that charming, vintage vibe—definitely a nod to its older roots. We decided to stop by on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant experience!
We were visiting the area and stopped in during the lunch to dinner conversion. Our server Isreal was AWESOME. The Thai tea was suggested and to my surprise really good. The food was fresh and not too spicy. I didn't give them a 5 because I'm really big on the smell of a restaurant and the woman's bathroom appears to have a sewer issue and it is time for a remodeling of the restaurant. However you will receive large portions and they have a 91 food score. We will be back!
Went for Super Bowl all you can eat party.
One side of the buffet was a mix of different types of sushi. The other side was fried chicken, hot wings, fries and rice/noodles.
The quality of the food was par.
Only giving 3 stars because while the food is actually extremely good (I def recommend), the service when the management is not present is terrible!!! Hopefully they can fix their front of house issues (servers not attentive, bathrooms not clean, no sushi menus in stock, etc). I'd love to be able to go back and have a better experience and update this review to reflect a change.
Admittedly, this wasn't where I meant to go and the outside isn't super welcoming but we were starving and decided to take the chance. I'm so happy we did. This was easily the best Thai I've had in a while, especially in Columbus, GA. Our waiter was super nice and very helpful (I had some questions about allergies and what veggies were in some of the curries) My fave part was the full, NOT watered-down flavor of the curry. So good.
Fwiw, I find "Bella" annoying but she's definitely different.
Just passing through today. Used to come to this place when it was a Chinese Food Restaurant, didn't realize it changed to a Thai place, but we love Thai, so we decided to give it a try.
Pad Kee Mow (Drunken Noodles) is one of my favorite Thai dishes. My wife and I ordered two portions, one with pork, the other chicken. It was excellent. Amongst the best that I've ever had. Cashews were a nice touch.
friendly staff and delicious food.

Solidnplace for sushi and Thai favorites
Great place for Thai food. We will be back.
Atmosphere is fine, just dated. Food and service are excellent. The Thai cuisine is authentic (I've spent a few weeks in Thailand) and delicious.
Great food and good service!
One of my favorite places to dine in Columbus consistently great food and service

Good food and nice staff
The Drunken noodles were amazing! I loved the food service robot, hilarious!
I always get the basil fried rice. The reason for the one star rating is because the last two times I've ordered they left off half the ingredients. I would have took it back but I live 90 miles away. There was no cashews, red peppers, green peppers, mushrooms. These ingredients are the reason I love the basil fried rice. I ordered two orders and it cost $40. I want what I'm paying for.

Very accommodating and kind wait staff, with diverse array of options on the menu!
Pleasantly surprised how good the food was, especially considering it's a thai, hibachi and sushi place!
Authentic and very pleasant dining experience. Love it.
I just called here to order food and there was no hello or anything and she hung up on me so I called back and again no hello when answering the the phone and just got told “if you aren’t going to say anything don’t call back!” The customer service is definitely lacking, who doesn’t say hello when answering a phone?
4 of us went on 9/18/24. We should have known better when half the sign on the building had bulbs out. But our daughter wanted to go and we were just passing through on the way to Atlanta. Food was warm, fish wasn't a good quality. I would not waste money there!
The food was cooked just as we asked. Their chicken Pad Thai is always great along with their Jasmine fried rice. Their staff is always friendly and quick to fill your drink. Never disappointed when visiting this restaurant.
Waist of money food was nasty
Excellent service, they do not have vegan dishes marked on the menu but were willing to make any curry vegan and offered up many suggestions of food possibilities for us!! Food was fresh and delicious! We had the freah rolls with basil, red curry and panang curry, all were large portions and worth ordering again! Wish we lived closer! Will definitely return when in the area and highly recommend!
Best Thai in Columbus
Peter took great care of us and made our experience a great one
Awesome Thai food and sushi!
Best fried rice I had in a while.
Ordered food to go. The food was disappointing to say the least. My chicken katsu was flavorless and I paid $2 extra for fried rice that I didn’t receive. My husband’s meal was supposed to come in a pineapple but was instead in a styrofoam container with canned pineapples mixed in. For $40, I could’ve made this myself and fed my family for a week. Then to top it off, my husband said that the hostess gave him attitude when he didn’t tip. I’d say consider the $2 for my missing food the tip. Don’t waste your money here.
Edit to add response to owner’s reply:
I appreciate your response, however I am going to be 100% honest about MY experience. Your host/server may not have had the intention of coming off negative, however that was MY interpretation of MY experience. I have no reason to lie about any of that. To add, I think it would be beneficial to note that customers will not have their food served in a pineapple with take out. This will eliminate any possibility of disappointment in that aspect. Also, with you admitting that the katsu is supposed to be pretty much flavorless, along with the pineapple meal, your pricing is too high for those items in exchange for what you get.
Rodriguez gave us great service including food recommendations. The Thai food was the best we have had in a long time!
You will not be disappointed for sure!
A little pricey for the quantity but super freaking good so I get why they charge what they charge.
always came here for a thai cuisine! the best thai restaurant in town, with a fair price & good food with good quality! the owner was so nice & helped to run the food, he was so friendly & the food was really good! my husband loves their green curry! we also tried fried cheesecake for dessert, recommended place!!!
25 cents for a glass of water. Do I need to say more?
I just feel like this place is overrated. The sushi is mid but Columbus is really lacking now in the sushi dept. Our waitress wasn't great, she messed up the order a few times. Even though I live near this place, I only go when it's like the only option. Pretty disappointing place. The only positive is when they have the Tuesday 50% off sushi deal that it's ever really worth it.
The appetizer was good I got the lemongrass sampler but it burned the hell out of me.i went with my sister an we both got two different bento boxes I got beef an she got shrimp both had the same sauce on top of the meat it was so 🤢 gross the rice was good an the sushi was really good
Owner is very friendly and accommodating. Food quality is very good. Sushi menu is adequate. Wait time on sushi is too long.
The food was delicious pad Thai
Panang Curry, and pad se ew.
All very good
The food was some of the best Thai I've had in a long time! The server seemed rather disinterested though.
It's passable sushi. Nothing stellar but good enough to eat. The combo sushi platters were rather large.
Great customer service, large portions and delicious sushi 🍣
Mango, chicken, shrimp fried rice was fantastic!!! Shrimp tempura Sushi was good, bloody Mary was great! Would definitely go again!!
Great food and services. The price is reasonable. Highly recommend.
Delicious food, I would have liked some thai basil leaves on the green curry, but was told they weren't available.
Ordered a squid sashimi and 3 different type of sushi rolls. The food came up and almost laughable. Everything I ordered was served at once, I waited a little while for my sashimi because you suppose to eat that first, then I realized it was served...its just a little piece of squid wrapped around a few stick of cucumber. I thought it was for dish decoration at first. Cucumber?! do you know how to make sashimi ?!! the rest of the sushi were also disgusting, full of cream and covering with oyster sauce. This is the first time I felt nausea when eating sushi and I couldn't even finish. decide to just check out, these few dishes cost nearly $40. Oh and check this out, they charge you for water! LOL wow
We love to come here and the sushi is great. Celia was our waitress and she is amazing !!
Very rude
Roger the owner was very helpful in choosing our meals and Savannah was always on time to refill our drinks. Especially after trying the hot sauces.
10/10 always, dragon roll is my go to
Didn't even go inside was greeted by too many rats. There's no way the health department needs to be notified. That's too many mice or rats. i will be calling the health department today, Ridiculous !!
Definitely where you want to go for cheap sushi. They have a lot of options, but no matter how dead or packed the restaurant is, you should expect to wait at least a half an hour for your food. If you are craving on a budget, this is the place for you!
I never experienced service this awful in my life. We ordered food to be delivered and food and drinks were missing, and when we contacted the restaurant, the manager on duty Friday evening, March 1, was combative and blaming us for using delivery. She admitted they messed up the order, but still blamed us for using delivery. The food being delivered doesn’t have anything with them having food missing from our order, so her arguing with us about that was unprofessional and unnecessary.
We love Lemongrass Thai!! The food is top-notch, the service is spectacular, and the atmosphere is welcoming and clean. We drive from Harris County to eat at Lemongrass because we are always happy with the service and food.
Went with a group for dinner and our food was good. Had some small issues with the waitress getting our orders correct, getting our tickets correct, and getting drink refills was a little difficult. Tried the phad Thai and I enjoyed the dish. This was my first time having this dish and I enjoyed it. The fried dumplings and sweet tea are good as well. Want to try the Amazing next time I go.
Food: in general was bland and overpriced.
Panang curry: wayyy too many veggies and the potatoes were raw (couldn’t bite down on them) it was barely warm to touch.
Service: felt rushed and not welcoming
In my honest opinion save your money
great food clean restaurant awesome service. a little bit of a language barrier but nothing we couldn't overcome. 10 out 10 recommend! awesome experience!
Food was by far the most amazing but my server was nice but service was horrible definitely felt leftout by the poor service. The inside looks as if they are remodeling. Once again the food was worth every penny!
The food was very good.
The place was clean and comfortable.
I will certainly be going back for seconds and thirds in the near future 😀
I am so disappointed to even write this review but Tuesday night I had a very racist experience in this establishment. The waitress(I think her name was Pam) did not check on us at all that whole night. She would walk off in the middle of us giving our order and the thing that really upset me was the fact when I showed her I had hair in my food she was dismissive. I asked her to take the meal off of my ticket and she said “it’s only one” which I said in return “I understand but it’s hair on the food which is unappetizing”. Then after that she was rushing us to leave. After leaving my friend that’s works there informed me that the waitress told them that I put my own hair in the food. The hair in my food was black and she told them the hair in the food was red. The fact that she would blatantly lie like that is upsetting. I eat at this restaurant all the time and never have I had such a horrible experience.
Placed an order through DoorDash. Didn’t see the option to add a sauce. Called business and told them I didn’t see the option and could I just pay over the phone for sauce. Because she told me they are $.50/ per sauce, which was fine. But no I cannot pay over the phone because they have been “accused of stealing” in the past by someone for this reason? So over a $.50 sauce you will no longer get any of my business. How hard is it to throw one thing of sauce in a bag to satisfy your customer who would have paid for the sauce if you would have let them. Absolutely ridiculous!!!!
Wonderful place. Awesome specials, the best sushi, fried rice and all southeast Asian dishes are amazing. Also the parking is convenient and staff is very friendly!
Yummy fried. Good service. Calm, pleasant place to chat and eat
It's always a pleasure to eat here. I wish it had more of a crowd to fill its doors like it deserves. But some cities don't have culture or class.
I went to this restaurant because they had decent reviews on Yelp. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the restaurant didn’t look as good as the pictures. The front of house staff seemed decently friendly, but management seemed very standoffish and kept staring at me. As I was eating my food, I saw a regular roach and an albino roach mating on the floor in the corner. Apparently if an establishment has a white roach, that is an indicator that they have an infestation. I couldn’t even finish my food and I rightfully so wanted a refund. Management were incredibly rude and made snide comments about “My people don’t know what it’s like to work hard for my money.” As I’ve heard more about them, I’ve found out they are incredibly prejudiced towards Black people. If you are Black in Columbus it is best to stay away and spend your money elsewhere.
This is a great place for Sushi and Thai. I was skeptical at first but the food is pretty good for the area. It's not at all a fast food asian restaurant that calls itself as a "restaurant" and the food came out fresh. One of the better Asian places for food in the area.
My family was seated promptly. Waitress proceeded to take drink order, she then took 20 minutes to bring out four drinks. We then ordered our food. The fried salmon I ordered might have been the driest, worst cooked fish I've ever eaten. My wife and her mother ordered the same thing. The waitress thought "same thing" was two different orders. She forgot to bring out the soup and salad until we were about to leave. The food was massively overpriced for the quality and quantity. Avoid.
My husband had pad see ew with pork and I tried the amazing curry. The curry dish is great if you like peanut and sweet sauce. I am not a sauce person and I would order it again with light peanuts and mild spice. The service was great and the prices are reasonable.
Top-notch food, great service, and above all else, I enjoyed myself completely...
Really, really good food, fixed quickly.
Love the food and the place.
It seems that place needs more advertising because food and service are great. Prices are good. We do always do 1 appetizer, 2 entrée and a couple of beers and is around $60-70 for 2 persons.
Food was always pretty good, but I won't be returning since they got that robot server. That's a job someone could have, and I hate seeing these service robots popping up when so many people are struggling. Sad to see Lemongrass stoop to use this instead of a human.
Listen- Tom Kha Gai is my comfort food, and this place does it RIGHT. They also have amazing sushi rolls. My 4 year old also loves eating here because they have a cute little robot that delivers your food to you :) I've been here a few times, and all the servers have been phenomenal. Excellent customer service and I will definitely be frequenting this place as long as I'm in college.
Cashier (wish I knew her name, but I dont) defended the owners' young children running yelling screaming and throwing things all over the place THEN suggested if I objected, go elsewhere.
Overall nice experience, but for sure a date place if you're willing to splurge.
Ordered the Citrus chicken. First time here. Food was good. Sat at the bar. The drafts were bitter but I did order a beer that wasn't on special and it was wonderful. The servers were a little slow at bringing the food but other than that. I would definitely go back.
Mango fried rice was delicious!
Seated 45 minutes til close, kitchen was basically closed an hour early. They took our order and we waited. My food was fine, the wife's food was reheated chicken that was rubbery and inedible. Our server was horrible, never once checked on us or took away any dirty/finished dishes. Staff appears young and arrogant. Would recommend take out but skip the dine-in experience.
Place was chosen based on reviews however I’m curious the type of customer were received. Personally I was not impressed of the food I ordered. I don’t recall the order other than it was $43 for the specific sushi. Waitress was sweet and attentive but quality of food can improve.
Their food is so good every time I go to eat there. We always have good service.
We had some great food with great service and great music for our atmosphere on Sunday! I had two different types of sushi and some Citrus chicken . Delicious! I love this place! The owner is super nice as well!
Found a hair in my Thai. The sushi was ok. The waitress barely understood what we were saying and kept coming back to our table even though we asked for a few minutes. Little robot server was kinda cute.
Food was great. Server was polite and friendly.
Stopped by for lunch today. Got to try the Roast Duck Curry. Sooooo good. Such a big portion. Bring your appetite when you come. Service was great. At the 2pm hour there were only a few tables with customers so it was pretty quiet. Thinking I might try the fried duck next time.
Really tasty food .
Amazing food! 👏
Everyone listen up...the food and service is amazing. My brother and his wife took 7 of us to experience the food. Every single appetizer and dish was to die for. From the soup, various egg rolls/spring rolls, sushi, various fried rice and hibachi, was all sooo good. The owner and her husband were so welcoming and personable, I
had to tell them personally how much we enjoyed our meals and service. Phoenix was our server and Tabby backed him up if we needed anything; two wonderful young people that really made us smile. I felt like I had known Tabby for a long time, and Phoenix was just a doll. It started to storm real bad when we were getting ready to leave, but no one had an umbrella; Tabby offered to use hers to walk us to our cars!! If you want a meal you can walk away saying you truly enjoyed it, please visit Lemongrass on Wynnton road in Columbus, GA; you won't be disappointed! Hi Tabby and Phoenix!! 👋🏾
The food was good, and a robot brought us our sushi (so fun).
Love to get me some lemongrass. Love the chicken hibachi you can remove anything you want and can chose different spice levels amazing food.
The service was great. The waiter was very kind and considerate. The food was alright but not necessarily great, and for what it was it was expensive.
Awful Food, restaurant has stank smell. I was there visiting my son. We won't be coming back.
The little robot was fun and cute but it gets annoying after a couple of times. Food was delicious
Great food, had exactly what we were going for, vegetarian options too. You might have a robot cat waitress serve you. So many sushi options
Half price sushi on Tuuuuesdaaayys! Can't beat it.
Nice place. I like the pineapple rice and sushi. Very good to eat here.
Always good curry and sushi.
This was a business that my family and I would faithfully patronize. The receptionist who took my order made a gross mistake and overcharged me. In an effort to correct the situation, I asked for the owner, Gina, to be informed. She responded so coldly and dismissed our concerns, instantly taking up for her employee, without hearing us out. We were rushed off of the phone and disregarded. If you're looking for a local business that values customer service and connections, this is NOT the one. The owner sees you as a number that can easily be replaced.
The food was excellent. The service could not be beat. The prices were on par for a good sushi restaurant. I had been craving Sushi for a while and this place did not disappoint. They also have a robotic server which is a nice touch.
The food presentation was amazing. The taste of the food and the service was wonderful.
Pleasantly surprised - In town for long weekend and found Lemongrass Thai. Server Tabby was great walking us through the menu. Nice selection of drinks. Will be back.
Pretty decent experience. Food is middling but the robotic cat is cute.
I live in Atlanta. I would literally drive over an hour for their panang curry. It was my first time having black rice. Be sure to order extra. OMG, it'll change ya life!!!! 😋❤️
Great service and food.
Great food and service
Food and service was good. Last 2 times they left something off the plate (sushi and eggroll) and brought it after we started eating.
Overall experience and good was good!!!
Best Thai ever!
Stale
Highly recommend red curry and larb salad. Consistent quality served by friendly staff. A must stop for lunch whenever we are in area! Not a fan of the new overly loud robot.
Went in today to pick up a delivery. Waiters looked at me didn't ask if I needed help. This has happened on other occasions. So the owner yells from behind the bar your order is ready. No ma'am it's not if it's not in my hand. She say something everyone says when a black woman speaks up. That I yelled at her and she says I will ban you. Ma'am do what you have to do. I guess she feels like because the gentleman that works at Muscogee County Sheriff's office is her husband or close friend she can speak to people any kind of way. I will be contacting Sheriff's Countryman's office on Monday. Shouldn't no officer of the law should be abusing his power to protect anyone like her.
Expensive and long wait for to go order of fresh rolls but tasty
First time here and happily surprised...sister had Tum Yum soup and I had Pad Thai...everything was great...good service ..large portions. I will return for sure...all the dishes I saw looked very appetizing! Diverse crowd as well.
Awesome flavored-high quality food and services!
Ordered the Thai fried rice and Crab angels. The fried rice had glass noodles in it, thought it was strange until i tried it! Great rice and generous portion. The Crab angels had curry in them! Super surprised at how unique and tasty this makes them. I can see this being a hot or miss for folks but when it hits its awesome. Would return to try more of the menu
We had the pineapple express roll, fried soft shell crab, steamed dumplings, and pad thai and everything was good but BOI lemme tell you that pad thai SLAPPED it was authentically flavored. The flavor profiles of the dish were perfectly balanced and delicate but defined. Service was excellent, attentive and friendly but unobtrusive. They had a special on for half off sushi today which was nice. Though we ordered quite a feast my total only came up to about $40 before tip and that includes the delicious thai coffee I had as well. I will definitely be returning as it's been a while since I had delicious thai food out of a restaurant.
Robot sever and cop serving us food was a great experience. Plus food was great!
Great people, it wasn't busy so we had fun watching a movie together.
I had the "Leftover" and "Big Daddy" rolls.
Leftover was DELICIOUS! Fruit tasted great, I was afraid it wouldn't be ripe enough out of season.
The shrimp tempura in BD roll was too hard because the tempura was too thick. Not awful, but had to take it out of a few pieces.
Beautiful restaurant with amazing service. Try the yellow curry! Delicious! Great drink options and super affordable for a big party
best sushi place in town. would recommend anyone here!
Very friendly waitress, good curries and good portion Sushi 🍣 and funny that they have a Musical Robot to serve the food.
Made a reservation for a birthday party celebration for 14 people. The food was good but unfortunately they only had one server for our fairly big party. We waited about 20 minutes to get our checks which is understandable for a large party but then she came back asking each of us what we ordered even though she wrote it down when we originally ordered? Just wish the service was better especially when gratuity is added automatically for a party.
Edit: After the response from the restaurant it now makes sense the issues are from a staffing issue. I’m sure once that’s resolved everything will run smoother.
The sushi is very tasty. A bit expensive unless you go on half off Tuesday.
Just excelente!!!
I really loved my food. This was my first time. I didn't like the miso soup personally but everything else was great. My server was very attentive and made sure I had what I needed.
My favorite Thai restaurant when I am in Columbus
Whenever I order takeout, the service is super fast! Usually pickup 15 minutes after I àmake the phone call.
