The pineapple fried rice was good but I’m used to it also having cashews and a spice level options (we were told after our meal that we could have a spice level on the rice), but it wasn’t offered when ordering. Food was good and well priced, we’ll definitely be back!

The food is delicious and very flavorful. You can adjust the spicy level of your Thai dishes from mild to Thai hot. The sushi is fresh and very good. There are lots of options for lunch specials, too.

Food was good, service was decent even through it was packed. Pad See Ew was one of the best we’ve had in awhile. Only issue was AC seemed to be not working well, we had to ask for a fan to keep us cool. Also was a bit darker in the restaurant. While I could read the menu fine. I noticed several people whip out their phone flashlights to get a proper read of the menu.

Great service and delicious 😋

Got seated after a 20 minute wait no problem they’re busy for Valentine’s Day completely understandable. Me and my fiancé wait for a good 10 mins waiting for someone to come greet us. In that time 3 other tables were sat, another 10 mins go by and all 3 of those tables got there drink and food orders taken. So we decided to leave and pickup food instead. I understand the employees were busy and busting their butts with the amount of volume they had so I won’t blame them. As a restaurant worker and manager myself I put full blame on ownership for not being able to staff a busy night like Valentine’s Day properly.

This is our go to for Thai & Sushi. We go at least twice a month and have yet to be disappointed. They have a big selection of different styles of food as well as a nice selection of alcohol. Try it you won’t be disappointed.

Been eating here for 20 years and the bad reviews about the place being dingy and old are suspicious, it's not like that at all. The food and service is great and the prices aren't too crazy. Nor is it hard to find parking as it's the only thing in the plaza that actually draws people. Really, I'd say the bad review a few below mine is obviously from a competitor.

I ordered an appetizer and a red chicken curry and after I was done, I couldn’t finish my meal so I got to go container, but when I asked for a little cup of curry sauce to add to my meal when I heat it up the next day I was told the only size they have is five dollars…. I don’t mind paying a couple of dollars for a little cup, but I don’t need a five dollar cup and there was nothing they could do for me??? Pretty terrible customer service…. I won’t be back. There are plenty of other places to go.

Ordered online, for pickup, wonton soup and cashew nuts...with shrimp, not spicy and white rice. While I could take or leave the wonton soup, the cashew nuts dish was the best I have ever had! And I will definitely get it again! The "juice" of the dish was so good I could have licked the dish! If I had anything negative to say it would be not enough white rice. I emptied it into the main dish and still had "juice" left that more rice would have been able to absorb. But minor detail.

Food: Decent for place that is located in a backwards country area. The prices Have definitely gone up and are in line with better places in the new Tampa area so it’s not as it used to be where you got more “bang for your buck” sort of speak.
Ambience: Completely non existent as it old and dingy but I guess one look at the Clientele it makes no sense to upgrade.
Service: Abysmal at best. I do expect this kind of service when I travel to the far east, but I do not expect it in the United States Where we’re expected to tip as these people are clearly either overworked or underpaid. Maybe both. Or they might be the owners who just don’t want to hire people to cut into the profit. I also don’t know what their traffic is like during Monday through Friday as I’ve only been here on Saturdays or Sunday occasionally.
Honestly, it would only take a few thousand dollars to spruce up the place and maybe put better lighting in traffic patterns within the restaurant so the people coming to pick up the orders don’t have to Go through people sitting and eating.

At the end of the day, I don’t think the owner actually gives a damn about the experience as much as the food. Although I must admit, I cannot fully trust their sanitary practices From looking at the front end operation. You really have to go on a leaf of faith and not Contemplate if you’re going to eat here.

Food was not good at all 😒 my husband ordered chicken teriyaki which was very dry not eatable, no flavor whatsoever I ordered a pad Thai crispy duck, duck was dry and pad Thai was super sweet and salty, their sushi my be better? But not going back to find out

God food. Good value

I called to place a to go order today at 2:42 and was told they were closed and was hung up on by the person that answered the phone when I said I was confused because their website and google says they close at 3. I then called back and asked to speak with a manager and the person that answered the phone said they left and disconnected the phone on me again. That was my first time attempting to try this restaurant and I will not be spending my money at an establishment that treats their customers unacceptably.

Service needs to be more proactive, spoons, forks aren't given unless asked. Staff looked like they are under too much pressure while serving. Please smile guys , it makes our day

Best chicken massaman curry I’ve had in many years. Fresh rolls and pad Thai are fantastic as well.

This Thai restaurant was a disappointment. I’ve been to some very good Thai restaurants and this one was a 2 out of 10. I ordered the red curry was very soupy and bland. If you don’t mind very average Thai food you might want to try another restaurant.

Male answering phone was Super Rude and Care Less about DISSATISFIED service. So CHARGED 18.95 for Thai Fried Rice with TAILS on the Shrimp & TONS of ONIONS. That was FOUL. During HURRICANE MILTON PRICE GOUGING IS ILLEGAL!!!

This Zephyrhills gem easily outshines Thai restaurants in Tampa and even fancier parts of town.

Their tom kha soup is one of my favorites, the papaya Thai salad refreshing, and the green Thai curry simply delicious. Each dish showcases authentic Thai flavors that are hard to find elsewhere in the area.

The staff are friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is pleasant.
Parking can be tricky during busy times, but still it's worth the minor hassle. Best Thai & Sushi has set a new standard for Thai cuisine in our region. Seriously.

Whether you're a Thai food fan or new to the cuisine, this place is a must-visit. It's become my go-to spot for satisfying Thai cravings, and I'm excited to try more of their menu soon, and maybe their Japanese options as well.

Authentic Thai cuisine and sticky rice 🍚

I have been going here for years and Best Thai and Sushi never disappoints. Their Pad Thai is amazing, which I normally have with some Thai Tea and a cooked sushi roll. It can be a bit pricey but the flavour and quality of food is unmatched in the area. Will continue to be a revisiting patron.

2nd time in a row we have ordered take out and it has not been ready at the late end of time it should have been. They didn't start making the order until I was there. I asked them to cancel and refund me. I was told they would have to call Menufy to refund it. Super disappointed because the food is good and there's not a lot of Thai places around here.

Great sushi great service

Only reason I come here sometimes is because it's only one of the few Thai places in the area....but I keep getting reminded every visit why I don't come here often and it's because of the service. Very poor attitude and act towards you as a bother every time you ask for something. Also getting charged for yum yum sauce is crazy!

Received wrong soup and when questioning the waitress she rudely replied “ what do you want me to do about it” and claimed it was the right soup. Which it wasn’t. I even asked on a nice way what soup I received since it wasn’t the same one as my husband ordered.

Been coming here so many years but today gonna to be the last. I order Pad Thai normally come with peanut, I asked extra peanut not a bowl of peanut, the bill came out with $1 extra for peanut.
I have business so I know everything cost money, and we can’t ask for free of veggies, rice or different sauce or my food come with peanut but I ask for cashews or almond with extra charge definitely understand.

The food is consistently good here. The sushi is very good. The service can be spotty at times due to large volume of take out orders. It has been my experience that the sushi comes out a lot faster than the kitchen items for some reason. Once 2 out of 3 children meals came out 20 minutes before the third came out, but that was a one time occurrence. The fact that they have a children's menu Isa big plus and one of the main reasons why we keep coming back. It's a place we frequent and highly recommend for local Asian food. The inside is quite small, so its not ideal for large groups, but they have accommodation for up to 10.

The food at Best Thai is fantastic, however, the continually poor service takes away from the meal. Every single member of the staff is unfriendly, acting as if we’re a bother. Since moving to the area a few weeks ago, we’ve tried to eat locally whenever possible. We love Thai food but the poor attitude exhibited by the staff is forcing me to head back into town. Looks like we’ll be heading back to our old standby, Thai Ruby. The food is always fantastic and they are actually glad to see us when dining in.

Your above average sushi. Knocking it out for Zephyrhills, but I need a little light and life to the place. The food was good and and filling.

The service was excellent. The food was delicious, mostly. No air conditioning. There was a fan going, but was not enough. Cutting costs by not using air conditioning in FL during the summer is not ideal.

We visit here several times a month. Always consistently great and always busy. After trying many dishes, we tend to settle on the Penang Curry often. We highly recommend.

Zero stars if I could. Worst pad Thai I’ve ever had, the noodles were overcook and barely any flavor. She tried telling me it was because I asked for it to not be dry. I ate two bites, never came by to see why I set it aside until it was time for the check. Horrible customer service! They still charged me for the dish and didn’t try to make anything right.

I recently dined at "The Best Thai and Sushi" express with high hopes, drawn by its promising reputation. The staff seemed disinterested and inattentive, detracting from an otherwise enjoyable meal.

To my surprise, upon receiving the bill, I discovered an automatic gratuity added without prior notice. This absence of transparency was disappointing, as customers should be informed of such policies upfront. While the cuisine merits commendation, improvements in service and transparency are necessary for a truly satisfying dining experience at "The Best Thai and Sushi" express.

Best Thai food I have had while visiting Florida. Quality ingredients, quick service and great atmosphere. I say great atmosphere because they were not pumping out obnoxious music. It was cool jazz.😁

Really enjoy the food most of the time. On Friday I ordered the same thing I’ve ordered multiple times: Tom Yum with Steamed tofu and red curry with vegetables. It was late at night, so when I got home I started enjoying the soup. By the time I got to the curry I noticed it had fried tofu in it, instead of the extra vegetables. By this point in time they were closed so I went to the website to see an alternate way to contact them. The only way was Facebook so sent them a message merely letting them know what happened. I went back today to place the same order and also just to let them know what happened. The gentleman helping me just didn’t see to care and simply asked “So, did you want to order food?” I enjoy the food when it’s correct, but I’m just going to have to be more careful and check the food each time before I leave.

The Hammachi Sashimi is to die for. I’m serious. I’ve never had such incredible Hammachi. The presentation was fabulous, the flavor incredible. We also had a duck entree and a tuna plate, but the Hammachi… we will be back!

Even though we arrived late night, we had pretty decent experience. We liked the Thai options we consume. The Sushi bar was backup, maybe next time.

My fav little hole in the wall for ordering sushi to go. Much easier to place your order online if you get a busy signal when calling. Very hard working staff due to their small size and how busy they can get but orders are always made perfectly.

I order here a lot but I think the person that answer the phone should be more pleasant first I call and ask right from the menu I am telling him what the menu says but he seems not to understand I tell him again and he tells me I don’t have to repeat myself then talk over me and I tell him well I m reading what your menu says maybe the menu wording should be change he tells me I should learn how to place an order mind you there food is not cheap 13 dollars there been times I have order a week straight every day and for you to come at a costumer so disgusting sorry but you just lost a costumer hope he don’t treat everyone like this shame

I already saw the demeanor as soon as I walked In with my stroller and daughter like we were pest we were than ready to order we asked for garlic chicken because it's what we usually order at other Thai spots it said garlic so I asked if it came with chicken he than says read the menu and instructions so I said so you don't know if it can be made he says that's not my business read the menu which at this point I had enough got up and left. If you want to have a peaceful lunch and good service or even just mediocre service DONT EAT HERE

This is a small but nice strip mall restaurant with good food, both sushi and Thai. "Best" may be an exaggeration, but the food was good. :-) They have a decent variety of specialty rolls, and the prices are very reasonable.

The food is great but the service is horrible. We had the skinny lady. She had a horrible attitude and she walk off while you’re talking. I asked someone else about this place and they said the same thing.

I ate at this restaurant recently, I’m a local from Zephyrhills and wanted to give it a try. My entire family, which consists of 4 people got food poisoning. Once I started talking about my experience I found quite a few other people have the same experience. Poor hygiene and extremely poor quality of meat and seafood. Please do not eat at this location!!!

Food was ok although my husband's terrible. The vegetables were mushy. Tempura resembled deepfried bread crumbs. The chicken was really thinly sliced and overcooked. I did not like the 18% gratuity that was automatically added to my bill. And then they ask for a tip on top of that. I found the server surly and passed me my food and drink from across the table. I dont think she smiled once. The food wasn't worth that rate either. All in all not impressed and won't be back

Dropped from 4 stars to one star!! Taking advantage of good reviews changed their food changed their noodles food has gone downhill. Everyone please update their reviews as current visits have gone downhill business is taking advantage of past experiences now offering bad food and bad service. They give you the we don't need you anymore vibe we have too much business. Show them how treating people and these reviews can will and does have an effect on business. These businesses have to realize they don't get to keep their customers by offering cheaper food after they build a good review base. Blacklist them until they learn their lesson.

Best red curry in Zhills

Food was ok,wasn't as good as I hoped it would be, guess I had higher expectations. But overall wasn't that bad. Definitely not my go to spot.

Amazing Sushi, Gyoza, and atmosphere

Their food is amazing and plentiful. I've ordered from here several times. It's about 15 miles away from me, but 💯% worth the trek. I ordered Pad Thai. Its Easily two meals. Also got Panang chicken and Three Sushi Rolls. Came to about $70. The Sushi rolls are better than any local place. I would recommend it to anyone looking for great Sushi. Only downside is their seating capacity is a bit small.

We tried Chicken Satay, Fresh Shrimp Rolls as appetizers and both tasted great specially with peanut sauce! We also tried Ginger Sauce Stir-Fry and Green Curry! Also very savory and super yummy! Wish they added more ginger to my stir-fry though :) Good amount of protein in both dishes. Recommended! Will be back to try a bunch of Sushi Rolls next time!

Great food but slow service

My favorite place to get sushi!! I also love their pad thai. Food doesn’t take long to arrive and waitresses get the job done perfectly.

Usually places with two combinations of food doesn't do well on one or the other, or even both. But here, I can say is pretty good, which is really hard to find in Wesley Chapel.

Was recommended this place, Pure disappointment... Walked in 30 mins before closed asked if they still open they said no walked right out. Change my mind... Never Experienced such poor none welcoming service. Took a trip to see what the hype was about.. Not much hype show up during day I guess but if y'all are down for the trip try Sake House open till 1 am. 👀

Very small cozy place, went midday for lunch, and they have their windows tinted it's a nice soft ambient light during the day. Very nice staff and the food was made very quick and was very delicious. I would recommend for someone if they're looking for Thai and sushi to try this place out. Not too expensive, if you review my photos my sushi was $6 a row, yum.

Food is decent some days great some days average .its family run and they are very friendly . I'd average it out to 4 stars for service ,variety and food quality .

This or new go to place for Thai! The entire experience, plus the food, was amazing. So much of a serving we had to split it and bring the rest home for another meal. The crab ragoons were about the best we’ve had so far. Can’t wait to go back!

Fast service. Not a space for big parties.

Very nice atmosphere in this restaurant. It’s dark but cozy. That’s where the good stops. Terrible service. I felt very unwelcomed in this establishment. And the food was mediocre at best. I got the teriyaki chicken rice dish. Food was so bland and the sauce was on the side?? The sauce itself was watery and barely made a difference to the dry rice dish. Not sure how this place has such high reviews, honestly.

Delicious food and great service. The pad Thai was very authentic!! Krab Rangoon and sushi rolls were great as well. Very clean to dine in. I think they do close at 2:30 for a few hours and reopen for dinner.

Amazing Sushi chefs, very yummy curries. Not a grab and run place, relax and be patient but worth the wait during busy times.

Best Thai & Sushi has always been a great experience overall. They are small, I highly recommend you call in for a reservation if you can, as they tend to fill up quick in the evenings but if you're willing to wait they'll make space in time.

The food is great here and the price is amazing. I've been here a few times and I've enjoyed everything I've had. Sushi is fresh, food is cooked well, and it's all extremely tasty.

All in all I highly recommend this place, give it a go.

The food was hard and cold, the cucumbers in the roll were cut into lil cubes anyone who eats sushi knows cucumbers have to be sliced thin, sushi 101… This place is subpar at best they are over charging for the food that they are serving. I hated the food sry I have nothing better to say. Don’t waste your money and get sick like I did!!!!!
