One of if not the best Thai restaurant we’ve ever eaten at. We go every time we get a chance. Their tilapia in three spice was an unexpectedly delicious dish, and a real standout on the menu that blends innovative dishes with Thai staples. I also love that they have outdoor dining which when the weather is nice is a treat.

My family and I recently dined at Orchid Restaurant, and we were thoroughly impressed with the entire experience. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was warm and inviting, setting the perfect tone for a family meal.

The service was outstanding—attentive, friendly, and prompt. The staff made sure we felt welcome and were well taken care of throughout our visit. They were particularly accommodating to our family's needs, which made the dining experience even more enjoyable.

As for the food, it was absolutely delicious! Each dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. We particularly enjoyed [mention specific dishes if you want], which were cooked to perfection. The menu had a great variety, ensuring there was something for everyone, including our kids.

Overall, Orchid Restaurant exceeded our expectations. The combination of top-notch service, excellent food, and a family-friendly atmosphere made it a truly memorable dining experience. We’ll definitely be returning soon!

Possibly the worst dining experience I’ve ever had. We sat inside, near the back, and ordered two half bottles of wine. Within a minute of the glasses being poured, there were giant fruit flies swarming. At first, we swatted them away, but it quickly became clear that they were everywhere and several were floating in my wine. I got up and asked the server if we could move. She said yes and then told us the fruit flies love wine. I’ve worked in enough restaurants to know if there are fruit flies instantly swarming, something is not being cleaned properly. I thought maybe they were coming from the orchids, so we moved to a table that didn’t have flowers. Because there were flies all in my glass of wine, the server dumped it and brought me a clean glass - but didn’t offer to replace the full glass of wine that had to be poured out. Once we said something about it, she did bring another glass with wine, but that was a very awkward interaction. Within minutes, the fruit flies were swarming again. We ended up covering up our glasses with napkins, which helped some, but by then our food was there, so we just continued to swat the fruit flies away. While we were eating, the servers were standing back by the bar area and were being so loud. The guy server talked trash about every person who came in and asked to sit outside - nothing terrible, but teasing the other servers about one-tops and people only ordering water and tea. Typical wait staff talk, but he was so loud we could hear every word and it was non-stop about every single customer who came in. So unprofessional. Looking back, I hate that we didn’t just leave after the first few minutes and that we spent $100 on mediocre food and such a awful experience.

We recently met the owner and Chef, Richard and his fiance, Colleen (beautiful and nice people). So we had dinner Mar 18, 2024 and we were not disappointed.

The restaurant itself is fairly small and they seem to really get as many people in there as possible which makes for an environment on the louder side of things. We were also there at a “rush” time so it wasn’t like we weren’t aware of this being a possibility. It’s just a little tight inside regardless. There is a nice space out front the restaurant and is right in the midst of a great DT winter park area. The hostess was more concerned with who she clearly thought a cute bus boy. Regardless we were sat by our server. She was pleasant but possibly overwhelmed. Either way, she did her job with a smile. The Thai iced coffee was amazing 💯🔥 didn’t get a pic but it is a pretty sight. The curry was amazing. A little thin for my liking but amazing flavors regardless. The pad Thai was “very good” (she liked it, but probably wished she got something more exciting). Overall a very nice dining experience.

Went to Orchid Thai for a late lunch with a friend and was pleasantly surprised. Our experience didn’t start great we had to ask for our table to be cleaned I think the server was upset. Thankfully we had an other server take care of us. She was ok. We opted to sit outside which was okay we had the pineapple fried rice, yellow curry and chicken pad Thai. The pad Thai was deeelicious! The curry was great filled with lots of veggies and heat (my fried opted for the Thai hot 🔥🔥🔥that’s how she likes it. The pineapple fried rich was delicious filled with raisins cashews and pineapple and served in a 1/2 of a pineapple.

If you are on Park Ave in Winter Park stop by grab a meal - I’ll be back and I already know what I plan on ordering.

How is this place not on the Michelin Guide yet?! We lived in Thailand for over 2 months in 2022 and we have NEVER found a Thai restaurant in Florida that comes even close to the quality and flavor of food we found in Thailand…until today. Orchid Thai Cuisine is just like if you were to compare a fancy steakhouse filet mignon to a frozen Walmart steak…Walmart just doesn’t compete at all, and the same for the other Thai restaurants in Orlando. As someone who has been to MANY Thai restaurants, trust me when I say this: this is one of the best restaurants on Park Avenue and in all of Winter Park, and for the price? Unbeatable! There are restaurants in the Mills/50 area that mimic street food (e.g. place an order at the counter and grab a number, wait to be called) and they cost THE SAME. EVEN MORE. And this is a sit-down restaurant on Park Avenue with great service - incredible!

When you come here, you could get virtually anything and be extremely happy with your meal - they have something called mieng kum, a dish I’ve only ever found in Thailand, and never in the US. If places do have it, they just use regular lettuce and NOT betel leaves, which honestly make the entire dish because of their unique flavor. It is a fantastic snack and they replicate it so well here. They also have an amazingly flavorful Thai beef jerky & sticky rice appetizer, which is a must-try as well. Their panang curry is the best we’ve ever had (even including ones we tried in Thailand), the PEI mussels are incredibly unique and a really great balance to other dishes, and the curry puffs are a flavor-bomb of goodness! The Thai donuts are of course always a treat at the end of your meal, and there are just so many incredible options you don’t find at other Thai restaurants. Seriously, if you love Thai food, you want to take things “to the next level” and try higher-end Thai food compared to what you find elsewhere, you need to come here. We instantly found a favorite and will be coming back many more times!!

PS: You have real orchids on every table here, and you can buy them and take them home if you like them - a neat touch considering the restaurant name!

I’ve been coming here since I was a little girl, still the most serene and best food on Park Ave. we had the steamed dumplings, curry puffs, yellow curry, and banana spring roll. 10/10. Our server Sophia was so sweet too. This place deserves all the hype.

One of the few places that I will go to as a gluten free / Celiac.

Thai Summer Rolls are highly recommended, with extra peanut sauce. It is a smaller eatery right in the downtown winter park area, lighting is a bit dim and the majority of the tables are too small for my personal eating habits - for those who are accustom to more city-style seating and locations, its definitely reminiscent of a tiny pub in Midtown or a hole in the wall restaurant in Brooklyn but with better atmosphere.

The reason for not 5 out of 5 stars? The service, can really be hit or miss. Recently, and I've been going here for years now, you either get someone who knows you from the past few visits and you get VIP treatment (especially if its someone the family that owns the restaurant sees many times in visiting themselves, or you just get, Denny's level service.

Food is definitely Thai referenced, but definitely more Americanized than one may expect. Its busy when you expect it to be, and quiet otherwise during non event / holiday rush hours.

I've yet to get sick or have a problem with anything they have cooked - you have my recommendation to try this place out and let me know if it works for you. Celiacs / gluten sensitives - you are welcome. :)

Excellent Thai restaurant in Winter Park. We sat outside on the sidewalk. Excellent food and service!

Generally, the dog owners in Winter Park are respectful, but not all. As a litigation attorney, if my wife or children were ever bit by a dog, I would sue that dog owner for $100 million and take their house. You laugh but the Courts are allowing obscene verdicts now - look at Giuliani with his $177 million judgement against him. Fair warning against all dog owners. Bring your dog at your risk.

My girlfriend and I came to have a cute dinner and we placed an order at 8:00 PM. We seen 2 groups of people joined the restaurant and got served all of their dinners and drinks by 8:30 PM. By 8:38 PM our server comes in and says that he placed the food in the kitchen but they didn’t hear it. So he replaced the order again. We received the food and my curry chicken was so bland, potatoes where hard along the carrots and my girlfriends pineapple fried rice had raisins when we asked for none. Don’t come here if u wanna waste ur money and time. Sorry guys we tried giving u another shot, the first time sucked too with food being cold.

We hosted a rehearsal lunch for our upcoming wedding at Orchid Thai in Winter Park. Everything from the coordination leading up to the event, to the pricing/food options, to the atmosphere and customer service was incredible. Our family and friends had a great time here, and we look forward to returning! Thank you to Richard and his team for making this such a memorable event.

Only thing going for it was the orchids. Not one Asian there, not even the kitchen that's right nest to the bathroom so I looked in, not that that matters but the food was sub-par for the price. You are paying for the location. It could use some art inside, the sidewalk is nice to look at old Winter Park. The 1 order of 2 Egg rolls were as skinny as my thumb and were "ehh". We should of just sat outside, It was hot, you'd think they would turn on the fans that were off but they were broken I was told and the air really didn't work to well, just blew around hot air. And how are they going to ad gratuity to a 4 top while the menu reads that they do that for larger parties, I think the service was poor, asked for the bill waited asked again waited at this point the tip was going down that's why he was adding gratuity. He also sweated which was gross. Oh well you live and learn.

I ordered take out. The food was decent but not my favorite. I ordered the fresh summer rolls, the Tom gum soup and shrimp
Pad Thai. Flavors were there, consistency was off on the pad Thai, and it was way spicier than I thought it would be for mild spice. The fresh rolls were not put together well and fell apart as I tried to eat them.
I would try again, but so far not on the top of my list.

I recently was in AdventHealth Winter Park Hospital for one week and after surgery while still in the hospital I didn't have an appetite. I ordered take out food from Orchid Thai four times and it was excellent. I also attribute this tasty food to helping bring back my appetite. Thank you Orchid.

Great place to enjoy quaility vegan food with fine dining.

Excellent Thai food and the service is always efficient. Orchid Thai also had a sushi menu which is also very good. Menu selections are varied, well prepared and beautifully plated.

I gave them the benefit of doubt and deleted my first review after talking to the manager. She was supposed to call DoorDash to give me a refund because my dinner was the most disappointing Thai food I have ever had. Believe me I don’t like making bad reviews. I am a firm supporter of local establishments, but when you say you are going to take care of the issue and call me back, I expect a call back. I did not receive a call back. The food, all the food tasted like it was marinated in maple syrup. When I order Thai hot I expect it to be Thai hot not so sweet can’t eat it. If the manager had just called me back I would not have added a new review, I waited from Saturday night to today, Tuesday. I am really disheartened that I am leaving this review, but I am more disappointed that they did not even try to remedy the situation.

Worst Thai I’ve ever had. If I had diabetes I would have probably died. Peanut sauce was like pancake syrup w/nuts. Ordered Thai hot, Not even close. Summer roll wrap was awful, so tough I couldn’t even tear apart with my hands, ruined. Everything super sweet. Yellow curry with hardly any sauce. What a waste of money. Never ordering from here again!!!!!!!!!

My spouse and I love Thai food and this is definitely one of the best we've ever had The time mushroom soup is as good as it gets and simply everything basic on the menu is fantastic The people there give great service good outdoor seating and very good portions

I have eaten here several times and food is ALWAYS good. But today I had the pineapple fried rice and OMG!! Over the top delicious. And so much food, I was stuffed, and came home with enough food for AT LEAST one more meal. Also be sure to try the jasmine green tea. I am a green tea lover, but this is the very best. Great service adds to a wonderful experience.

Excellent food!

By far inferior to the Lake Mary location. I was seated next to the door, and both the table and the chair were rickety and unstable. The restaurant was basically empty but the small tables same size as mine were unavailable for me, because the restraurant put 4 chairs around those. The service was slow, indifferent and barebones. The food was OK.

Today I’m stuck working a 9hr day by myself so I decided to Uber Orchid Thai from their winter park location, once again food was great and they left me a sweet hand written note that made my day!! Highly recommend Orchid Thai

I’ve been going here for 10+ years to celebrate birthdays, special occasions, or just to eat. The new servers today ignored my party for over 30 minutes. They did not give us water, ask orders, anything. The most rude experience I’ve had. We went to celebrate me beating cancer for the second time. I’m sad to say I might not be able to support my favorite Thai place. Very disappointed.

One of the most delicious Thai restaurants that I have dined in. Everything that we ever tried in the menu was yummy. We love going there and eating outside. The coconut rice is amazing.

Hidden gem in Winter Park that is off the main area of Park Ave but features some of the best Thai food I have ever had. Highly recommend the sweet coconut milk rice as a side dish. Warm and fresh with incredible taste. Always order chicken pad thai when I go to a Thai restaurant and they nailed it with their version. Fresh veggies with doughy pasta and very flavorful sauce

It's ok. I ordered the basil fried rice with chicken, spice level hot. The chicken was overcooked and dry, there was hardly any spiciness. I asked for another lime slice; they gave me a saucer full of old, dried limes. Everything looked beautiful it just didn't have any flavor. My husband got the pineapple fried rice and, again, it was beautiful, but the pineapple chunks were cut so large, they were incredibly hot, disproportionate to the rest of the plate. I'm taking the rest home to salvage it later.

One of the best authentic, fresh, and delicious Thai food restaurants in the Central Florida area. The restaurant gives you a cozy/home like feel. It's well illuminated, clean, and great menu prices with a wide selection. Portions are adequate and staff is accommodating. The Thai curry is excellent and 🔥! We will definitely return.

I had lunch here today with my 86 yeard-old mother (I am a 59 yeard-old lady). There was a LOUD OBNOXIOUS group of 9 impolite and very rude customers; I couldn't even converse with my mom because of the extreme noise. I politely asked them to lower their volume which they did; at that point, the most unexpected thing happened: their Puerto Rican male waiter approached my table and began to insult me!!!! He told ME to eat my food and go!! I was the one at fault, according to him!! This is how crazy and upside down this world has become! The food was good but the whole experience at this restaurant was horrible. Only our lively, smart and polite waitress, Emily, made this whole thing bearable. Thank you, Emily!!

This is a gem in Winter Park! Fantastic food and the service was top notch. I started with an app sampler that was out of this world. Each of the sauces was explained to me and what they went with. I chose the basil duck for my main, and let me tell you, it was perfectly prepared. I highly suggest you take the time to stop in for a great Thai meal!

We really enjoyed our dinner here! It was lovely to be able to sit outside and people watch (and squirrel watch). The pineapple fried tasted amazing, our server was super kind and didn't bat an eye at our European googly eyes when the huge portions arrived.

So I was sitting for lunch today on a table for four and the manager tells me that is a table for four … I was by my self and then he does not even answer. I asked is there a table for one then and he said te are those two tops with an attitude I replied Uich and he stated you can leave I am not serving you today. Wow what an arrogant and disrespectful person. I ask him if he could give me his name and he said no … now leave !!!!!!

The restaurant is located in the same building as Panera, next to the parking garage. They offer indoor and outside seating, with outdoor option especially pleasant in the evenings. The food tasted a bit different than a similar dish at other restaurants, with somewhat more pronounced sourness, but was quite delicious. Service was superb.

Food sucks if your looking for good time keep looking because this is not the place. Service was slow , and especially the food didn’t have much flavor and was just over cooked.

I came to to pick up my order real quick , two staff members passed by me and didn’t acknowledge for over 10 mins could of said “I will be right with you”, or “give me a few minutes “ . When someone finally came to assist me the blonde women seemed irritated . When I finally got my food I received it with an attitude. I told her “thank you have a good day “ and she said nothing . Very uncomfortable. Will not be returning and neither will my friends .

Ate here for a couple of years..one vegan dish only, as it was the only dish I knew was fresh. Their food comes from their main branch in Lake Mary and is transported to Winter Park every day by car.
They hired a new waiter who was clearly a drinker and after he was extremely rude and abrasive I called the owner's son to complain and warn him that this person was going to cause problems for this family business.
The next time I went there he came over to the table in front of 2 of my guests and began yelling at me for informing on him. this was outside on the sidewalk and everyone on the sidewalk was afraid to to walk by the restaurant because he was so loud.
I stayed clear of the branch for quite some time and thought they had fired him as he was not there. Today I was sitting down outside and looked up to see him standing right next to me. I told him to back up and leave me be.
This set him off and he ran inside in a rage and told the other waitstaff to not wait on me. When I went inside he started yelling and getting right up in my face asking me if I was threatening him and shouting that he didn't care about his job and weather or not they fired him and I didn't know him etc....psycho-babble that one hears from people like this. ( Alcohol driven )
When I finally reached the Matriarch of the family she told me that she would check his " record ".
I thought that was done before they hired staff and not after all Hell breaks loose with no Manager in sight.!
For the record my food normally runs $ 28 to $30 and I have always tipped $ 20. Never had a problem with the waitstaff at either establishment before this and have always tolerated the weak management problems..( having to pick old carrots from my plate without saying a word ) but at this point I have eaten my last meal there and recommend that you don't eat your first.
They have clearly lost interest in their restaurant.

Consistently an enjoyable dining experience on beautiful Park Avenue. Flavors are authentic with quality ingredients. Staff is pleasant and efficient.

We ordered the Pad Thai and dumplings! Service was really good but the food did not seem like the original, protein looked like it was cooked for a while. Was not fresh like Thai food needs to be.

I went to Orchid Thai, Winter Park today, Feb 8, 2023. I sat myself outside, since no one was around, at the front table up against the big picture window in the front center of the store, IN FULL VIEW of the staff.

I sat there for 10-15 minutes, saw people inside walking around finally I went in. There were four or five clueless staff members hanging around the cash register, socializing, doing nothing.

I went in and told them I'd been sitting right outside (pointing) for at least 10 minutes, and I was totally ignored. Then I left to find a place who actually wanted my business.

Horrible service !!!!!!! I called before I arrived and the guy over the phone said come. Me and my family arrive and we use the bathroom first before we eat so we can wash our hands. I’m in the bathroom and the lady chef is pulling on the door. When I come out the bathroom i asked her why was she pulling on the door. She gets smarts with me and yells at me so she could wash her hands!! I told her that my daughters were waiting to use the bathroom after me and SHE proceeds to go in the bathroom and gets smart with me again. NEVER AGAIN.

Delicious thai food! This place is super cozy and in a beautiful location in downtown Winter Park. At night they have candles and lights outside it was so dreamy. We had the Thai fried rice and a yummy curry both were flavorful but not spicy which we really enjoyed.

Did take-out from here, tasty and reasonably priced.

Loved the Thai tea and Miang Kham. Had a seperate gluten free menu for my guest as well. Would return again.

Food was incredible and our server was very nice and attentive. Leaving one star because our server was being berated by another male server as we were talking to our waiter, snapping at him and hurrying him as we were having a nice conversation. It made the experience very uncomfortable and my guest and I wanted to leave as soon as possible and tell the other server to stop being such a jerk.

The good is amazing but unfortunately today we had a terrible experience with the service! We asked to sit outside there were some tables available, and the waitress wanna put us in the only one in the sun

Visited mid week for lunch and they were very busy which caused the service to be slow. Ordered Tom Kha soup which was good but not great. However, their green curry had wonderful flavor which I would highly recommend. My mom ordered the parang chicken which she really enjoyed as well.

Amazing food in a very quaint and romantic setting at very reasonable prices. The service was also amazing. The food was authentic and meticulously prepared. Everything we ate was perfectly seasoned and just bursting with an array of wonderful flavors. I would give it 5 stars were it not for the annoying radio music coming from the kitchen that competed with the soft jazz piano playing in the dining room.

Horrible restaurant, the food tastes like they cooked it for 2 minutes and gave up the, drunken noodles taste Horrible it was sweet and uncooked. The service was Horrible they did not serve us we called for them twice they ignored us and looked at us and stared then looked away then they served the tables that came after us. I do not recommend this restaurant unless you want Horrible service and Horrible food that is trash and tastes like garbage.and way to pricey

Dining out of doors is the way to go here and choosing from among the menu favorites will keep you at five star food.

We've had good service here but not always great. Lots of check-ins with you by the servers but not always the best follow through and not always the best attention to start with. That can go up and down based on how busy they are in the time of year and the time of night and whether it's lunch or dinner and 10 other variables, so we're not knocking the service here. In general you know that they're putting forth the effort and they're usually satisfying.

Go ahead and get the whole fish deep fried. It's beautiful and two people can pick the meat right off the bones and enjoy the crispy skin and have some nice Thai vegetables to go with it.

Wine selection is very, very good here and beer selection is a collection of Asian beers about like you could find at an Asian grocery. Nothing really special in the beer category but the wines are carefully thought out and pair beautifully with the food.

Since everything is so sweet and starchy in Thai food you don't really think about desserts here although I've seen some come out and they looked pretty good but I think your main course is going to hit your sweet tooth just fine, and that's if your appetizer didn't already.

This is a date night out and romantic place, or a place to visit with five or six friends at around table sitting outside in beautiful downtown Winter Park and it's good to choose a temperate time of year. That means not at midsummer, unless you get a cooler night. That means it can get a little cold on a winter's night so it might mean dining earlier in winter.

The place is old inside and the bathrooms sort of reflect that, but that's just part of the charm of all the old buildings in downtown Winter Park, and they keep things pretty clean here so there's no objection.

Now that we have a toddler I don't see us returning until he's old enough to sit still and let us linger over a meal, although sometimes that can be achieved with some crayons and a few toys, or if we get him tired enough that he falls asleep.

Not saying it's a bad choice for kids because they will bring you a small plate of whatever you ask for. Need little bits of chicken? They will cover you. So kids are possible but it's not really the kind of place where you want your kid crying with everybody else around trying to enjoy a relaxing and expensive meal to be savored.

Don't take anything I've said negatively because orchid thai is a real treasure to downtown Winter Park and even though we just don't eat there very much now it's the kind of place we will return to within a year or two with more frequency than we have been.

And it's always changing so the menu is going to be fresh for the season and fresh for the trend and fresh for new ideas, but the traditional stuff will always be there.

Wonderfully intimate atmosphere, polite staff & marvelous food! My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit, but calling ahead for a reservation is strongly encouraged due to the size of the venue.

I go here for the vegan options. Almost everything on the menu can be modified to be vegan or vegetarian. The staff and the chef cares about your experience, right down to the beautiful presentation. if it's your first time, get the pad thai and summer rolls. You won't be disappointed.

Nowhere close to authentic. Went for lunch and was very disappointed with everything that I ordered. The food doesn’t have any flavor except the overpowering taste of coconut milk. For those of you who know what real Thai food tastes like, you’ll be disappointed.

I’ve always seen this restaurant and have never tried it until tonight. I ordered cashew chicken and it is extremely fresh and delicious! It is not full of MSG and overdone with salt. They can make it to your liking if you prefer spicy food. Highly recommend!

We had a lovely experience with delicious food and kind, attentive service in a pleasant atmosphere. The owners pay attention to detail with service and with a high quality menu. I especially enjoyed their homemade coconut ice cream with jackfruit pieces with a smooth texture and fresh, delightful taste. We have dined at both of their locations in Winter Park and Lake Mary. Visited for the first time and asked for the duck basil and a glass of wine...delicious! Excellent service, even though it was crowded because it was the WP Arts & Crafts Festival weekend. They took the time to explain the menu and serve a delicious red wine blend! Highly recommend and will return!

This restaurant is my FAVORITE place to eat at Park Avenue!!! The food is amazing and the staff is so friendly! Coleen and the owner are incredible!!! They went above & beyond to make our experience so special! Best restaurant ever!!

This place is always wonderful. My review is based on multiple visits here and the food has always been great! I always go for Thai hot and they generously use Thai chili unlike most other restaurants. MMMM Spicy :9 hehe. :D Keep it up!

If I could rate your service, it would be a zero. Your waiter, working Friday at 11:00am, is making your restaurant a horrible experience!! This is based on service alone since we decided not to eat there.....train or fire him, he should be washing your dishes and not allowed near your patrons! Hands down my favorite restaurant in Orlando. The food is amazing every single time I go and the service is always A+. I highly recommend if you have not been!

Very interesting Thai restaurant which didn't have a typical Asian restaurant experience instead it had a modernized looks with presentable and courteous waiters. I think so we were welcomed by a nice smiling lady who appeared to be the owner. Now coming to the food, we ordered their specials pineapple friend rice with tofu, red curry with tofu and lemon grass soup. I would rate pineapple fried rice as 9/10, red curry as 8/10 and lemon grass soup 7/10. My fairings are based on my personal taste buds.

Sharing for those who have celiac! I have been here twice and have not gotten sick! They are absolutely amazing and I am now determined to try every gluten free menu item. So far I have tried the summer rolls, chicken pad thai, ginger chicken, green curry, and the praram chicken. All 10 out of 10! During my first visit our server talked to us about everything made fresh in house including the curry and is something you can tell with your first bite. If gluten intolerant or celiac you must give this restaurant a try. It is my new favorite Thai place in the Orlando area!

What an amazing experience we had yesterday here! Came with my wife and daughter for valentines! And we enjoy everything about this place! From the Owners and staff treated us amazing! Food price super accessible! Speed on order coming out was unbeatable… and when it comes to quality and taste this place have it all! You definitely need to stop here and try this Gem!

Amazing place, and amazing food! They have a separate menu for gluten-free. I just ate the best ginger chicken I ate in my life! I MUST GO BACK TO TRY THE CURRY! YES, THEY HAVE GLUTEN-FREE CURRY 🤯🥳

Totally loved the food here. Only thing that I didn't care for was that they have a lunch menu but don't advertise it (it's not on their website). They don't give it to you when you go there for lunch unless you know about it and request it. Other than that, the food is quite delicious.

Beautiful piano music greeted us as we opened the door. Gratefully, the hostess was able to seat us even though we didn't have a reservation but we don't recommend doing that since it's a small venue. We had a couple of appetizers, but they were tiny. The wide noodle dish and tofu curry was flavorful.

Overall, Orchid has great food, atmosphere and service. We enjoy eating here when my husband and I walk around Park Avenue. I enjoy their tom yum soup and Thai papaya salad. My husband rotates though the noodle dishes but he enjoyed the nam sod as well! The last time we made a visit it was super busy but the servers did a wonderful job accommodating present guests and getting the new ones seated.

Ordered a chicken pad Thai for pick up. When I walked in the servers did not even acknowledge me. I had to get their attention. The pad Thai was not good. It was dry and bland. The best chicken pad Thai I’ve had is from Siam Garden a few minutes away and it’s a couple bucks cheaper.

Our food was so delicious...loved the Thai coconut soup and tofu with wide noodles...definitely would order again!!!

I ordered food to go. I arrived when they told me it would be ready, and called to let them I was parked in the designated pick up area. They didn't bring it to me until 20 minutes later (50 minutes after I placed the order and was informed it would be ready in 30 minutes). This was only after I flagged down one of the waitresses and asked if the order was ready. I ordered my entree with tofu as the protein and it had several large pieces of chicken in it as well as pieces of broken egg shells. I used to really like this restaurant, but I won't be back anytime soon after this experience.
