The flavors were an explosion in your mouth and the food came out very fresh hot and tasty. The weight for our food was not long at all yet it was still fresh. We thoroughly enjoyed this quaint tucked away restaurant on a Sunday afternoon and was pleasantly delighted with the cleanliness and atmosphere. I must say we were a little skeptical and were going to play it safe until we saw the menu and the hostess assured us that it is worth the try.

All I can say is I will be back. I can’t wait to try the curry and of course get my double dose of naan bread.

Table is a special gem hidden in the beautiful downtown of Winter Park. The ambiance is great, it’s welcoming to all customers. They have a wide variety of Indian dishes, which also includes Chinese and Thai favorites. The service was impeccable, we were seated immediately after our arrival. Elvis, was an amazing server, he explained the specials and the dishes that we should try, he even asked if we had dietary restrictions or allergies. We tried the Butter Chicken and Garlic Naan. I had goat on the bone in a red sauce that was divine. She had chicken in a pink sauce. Mine was called "Junglee Lal Mass" and I highly recommend it so much & I ordered a 2nd order before we left so I could take home and have tomorrow!!! She had the "Chicken Vindaloo" which they said was hot, but she thought it was the same as hot chicken wings and LOVED the flavor. Desserts are incredible. We tried 4 of them. She loves honey so the honey balls were were fav. They are doughy balls served very hot right out of the oven in a lovely honey mixture with Indian Spices. So good I had to have some myself. I had the dessert that is fried and inside is chocolate and coconut. Served very hot with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Worth the visit alone it was so good. The chocolate lava cake was great. Very dark chocolate very gooy very hot chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream. Excellent. the other dessert was a multicolored ice cream and cake combo. You must like green tea ice cream to enjoy this one. We will be back for sure. Next time we are going to order a bunch of different stuff, to taste in the joint, get full and take the rest home. This was my first time at Tabla and it has been an amazing experience. We ordered Paneer Tikka and Goat Biryani. Mellow was incredible in his service but not only that he gave us phenomenal recommendations for entrees and desert. The entrees were very tasty and the dessert we ordered (Mango Tiramisu was phenomenal) 100 out of 100 will visit here again next time i come!

The most amazing Indian food

My husband and I shared a lovely and leisurely meal here with friends over the Christmas holiday. The food was freshly prepared and our needs were attended with care. The space is small, but thoughtfully laid out for large and small parties. Our party did not need a reservation because we arrived at 5 pm as the restaurant was opening.

Overall a pleasant Indian menu.
We ordered a Chaat platter starter. Most of it was cold. Especially the bhalla. Only raita is meant to be cold!
My lamb chops vindaloo was very good.
Overall I would recommend for authentic Indian cuisine.

Tabla Restaurant in Orlando is one of those places that tests a customer’s patience and leaves them regretting their dining decision. After our experience tonight, it’s safe to say this establishment should be avoided, especially if you’re a tourist seeking a stress-free meal.

We placed an online order, expecting the convenience and reliability advertised. Instead, we endured a staggering 35-minute delay beyond the promised time. To make matters worse, the staff not only mishandled the order but also failed to include a key item, zeera rice, without which the entire meal was incomplete. We only discovered this after a 30-minute drive back to our hotel, by which time the restaurant was closed, leaving us with no way to rectify the situation. Imagine having curries but no rice to eat them with—absolutely infuriating and unacceptable.

The final insult came during the pickup. The manager or server had the audacity to dismissively explain that our order was “too big” to be prepared on time. This was not only unprofessional but also a clear admission of the restaurant’s inability to handle its operations. It’s baffling that a restaurant claiming to serve quality food lacks even a basic system to ensure timely and complete orders.

If you’re a tourist, think twice before ordering from Tabla Restaurant. Their process is inefficient, their management unresponsive, and their service borderline offensive. A meal here is not worth the frustration, especially when there are countless other options in Orlando that respect their customers’ time and trust. This experience has ensured we will never return—and will actively discourage others from doing so. I have attached my original order from door dash pickup.

The staff doesn't want to work. It took FOREVER to get food. Refills not a chance. I got glutened on top of that. I specifically stated a gluten allergy and still got glutened, if you're staff doesn't know what a food allergy is they shouldn't answer questions.

We sat on the boulevard. Rumualdo was very gracious and helpful. We loved appetizer Pani Poori and the Paneer Tikka was delicious.

We had a great time dining at Tabla for lunch! We’ve wanted to come here for so long but have never had the chance, and MELO took amazing care of us- Brought out plates of the food we liked from the buffet, and was extremely hospitable.

We went late at night for my birthday, we saw Cami and she instantly helped us. This place really has the best food, if your looking for a good meal I always get the boneless lamb curry and they can even make it super spicy for you ! Also the mango Lassi is one of the best I've had, tabla is amazing! I only cons to this restaurant when I'm in winter park.

Wonderful experience. We had a large party with vegetarian and non vegetarian dining. The menu offered plenty of options. Our server Sai was super friendly and helped us find the best suitable dishes and apps for our large party of 6. Everything was hot, fresh delicious and full of flavor. The medium spice was on the hot/spicier side. We’ve eaten here 3 or more times in the past but tonight Sai made our dining experience extra special. Very attentive and funny! Kenny was also super helpful with his service, to-go packing, and retrieving out left behind items and bringing them out in the rain before we got too far away! Definitely recommend. Great food excellent service and such a beautiful atmosphere.

First time here, everything was great. Our server Elvis was very helpful and attentive. Ordered Garlic naan, curry lamb, butter chicken, mango bhel, palak ke phool. $110 with tip for 2 which felt very reasonable for the portions provided (we also got 3 appetizers/sides, had leftovers). Flavors were immaculate and everything we ordered paired together so well. Food was fresh and came out in a timely manner. Nice atmosphere/dining environment, could definitely make for a great date night. Overall great experience will definitely be back!

The sauces and dressings are very tasty, but do not taste authentic. Very Americanized. The service was embarrassingly bad. If true Indian food is what you're after, choose somewhere else.

Was craving Indian food so Google what’s around in winter park and this place poppped up so gave it a try! Got the garlic naan bread and butter chicken and it was good then since I said it was my birthday gave me a little treat to celebrate! The ac wasn’t working in this restaurant so it was very hot and humid but the food was delicious!

The food at Tabla was impressive. We went as a big group, and we all loved the high-quality food here even though the food was on a more expensive side. The air conditioner was not functioning, so we had to sit outside. Other than that, everything else(service, etiquette, restroom, etc.) was decent.

What an incredible experience. I chose the right spot to propose to my future wife. The atmosphere was just right for that romantic setting I was going for. Our waitress Camila was superb in making us feel welcome and tending to our needs. The food, honestly, was not the best indian I've had, but good enough to leave satisfied.

Fiance and I had a lovely time. We’re visiting from out of state and popped in for a quick meal. Service was just as wonderful as the food. We ordered the Palek Ke Phool, Vada Pav, and Pav Bhaji. The Palek Ke Phool and Pav Bhaji were our favorites.

This is my personal experience and does not mean that everyone will have same experience. I came to Tabla for an authentic Indian food but I am very much disappointed by the quality of food. This restaurant is expensive compare to other Indian restaurants. Chili paneer was horrible and it was cooked poorly. Chili paneer was cooked in some kind of Thai sausage and was smelling like fish. Garlic Naan were frozen. This is the first time I had frozen Naans in an Indian restaurant. I will definitely NOT Recommend anyone to go to this place for vegetarian food. Waste of money and tasteless food.

When El Vics in College Park shuttered its doors, I set out on a mission to find a worthy successor to my favorite Indian haven in Orlando.

The culinary delights that defined excellence for me were none other than the Manchurian Gobi, Vegetable Samosas, and Garlic Naan. If these three fail to ignite my taste buds, then no Aloo Gobi, Chana Masala, Dal Tadka, or Vegetable Biryani stands a chance at capturing my interest.

Then, one weekday evening, fate led me to discover this hidden gem. The menu was a delightful lineup of all my favorites, yet, as a cautious newcomer, I opted to begin with the tried-and-true trifecta of staples.

Two bites into the extraordinary Manchurian Gobi, and I found myself ordering three more dishes without a moment's hesitation.

Every dish, every mouthful, was a symphony of flavors that left me powerless to resist devouring every last morsel, leaving nothing for a lunch encore the next day!

Was the 2nd time we have been there and qas not as good as the first time, maybe because we had more in our party this time. Will use again but will try other places first.

Wonderful South Asian food, particularly the lamb which I don't see often in the United States. It compares very well with Indian restaurant cuisine in the United Kingdom, where I reside permanently, and is a high bar. The food is tasty, well spiced but not spicy, and the meat was cooked to perfection. Will go again!

I think when you try to do multiple things and fail at all of them because nothing is perfected and it’s just too much, to many options on the menu in this case just causes chaos. Tonight my family ate at this location and we’re extremely disappointed, while I completely understand that they were busy, it’s a Saturday night, the quality of the food, the service, The presentation of the food was all disappointing. Kids Ordered chicken fingers and fries, the food had an aftertaste because of the oil used, either pour quality or old, We ordered an appetizer, and the server says it’s not supposed to look like that which is crazy to still serve, and it tasted horrible. It was ice cold, it was supposed to be hot. She said I think they forgot to warm it. They never took our order for drinks. We had to ask for a server come and take our order 40 minutes after we sat down. The Thai chicken was disgusting, but the lamb, Rogan Josh, and the lamb biryani and the garlic naan were okay. Chicken tiki masala was it two out of a five. They still charged for the wrong orders so I pointed that out, Server said that means she has to involve a manager for the Kitchen mistakes. Not a good experience I will not go back to this location again for a while.

Rumualdo was very attentive. We are first timers to this restaurant and he helped us pick great appetizers and entrees! We had the Aloo Tikki Chaat, Paneer, and if you like spicy the Janglee Lal Mass was good too!

This was the first stop on a food tour of Winter Park, so we had a selection of dishes. I have eaten in many Indian restaurants and this was well below the average. The food was very bland.

We joined at 930 pm and were so close to the closing time, they were generous to accommodate us. We ordered chilli fish, dal tadka, saag paneer and missi roti.. it was our best indian meal in Orlando.. and i wish we could visit again soon. Saag paneer and daal tadka had all the flavors to activate all juices 🤪

The food was amazing. I had the palak ghost with boneless lamb and garlic naan. Appetizers were the coconut shrimp, vegetable samosas, and palak ke phool. The food and atmosphere were amazing. The service from our server left more to be desired. The restaurant overall was very cozy with plenty of room with seating indoor and out. Regardless of our specific experience with the service, I highly recommend this place.

The vibes are so cute as you're walking up with the giant tree at the entrance. Hidden gem pushed back from the Main Street off park ave. We were quickly seated and given a moment to decide what we wanted to order. My husband and I shared the vegetable samosa, lemon coriander soup, and homemade chicken curry dish with the garlic naan. Everything was very tasty and the perfect amount for us to share. We were served in a timely manner and everyone was very friendly! Would definitely recommend this spot.

Great butter chicken!! Gobi Manchurian is delicious as well! I’ve been to the location near Universal as well and it’s nearly identical. I got a medium butter chicken and it was very good and appropriately spiced.

During my visit, I observed a concerning lack of staffing, with only three individuals running the entire floor. This shortage significantly impacted the service quality, leading to extended wait times for both food and the bill. While the food itself was commendable, the overall positive impression was marred by poor management.

The fried tofu orange thingy is a little misleading , it comes in a soupy bowl. The appetizers were pretty good and the tikka . It’s definitely relaxing / romantic inside.

My wife, my 3 year old son, and I visited Tabla for lunch yesterday and our experience was great. It was not busy at all on a Friday afternoon, and we were able to get immediate service. Our server, Raj, was polite, attentive, and warm - ensuring we were well taken care of. He even made excellent suggestions as the menu can be overwhelming.

Overwhelming in the best possible way, though. I'm already planning our return visit because there was SO MUCH we wanted to try! What we did have was absolutely delicious.

The atmosphere was nice, the table areas were clean, music at a conversational volume, and the water features on the way into the restaurant added some extra flair.

The negatives
1. The Winter Park location doesn't serve hard liquor, just wine and beer (even though it is on the menu). We enjoyed some tasty mocktails from the menu instead. Not a deal breaker at all!

2. The water features could use more comprehensive coverage. Curious children or anyone who may not be playing close attention have essentially unobstructed access to the water. It's really cool to see the fish and the fountains... It adds to the visual interest of the place, but it could be a hazard for some.

Love the fact that Hala meats lamb, goat, chicken, and salmon what a great variety the hostess was very pleasant and very professional and patient when I had to reschedule my reservation the atmosphere was elegant, and my husband was very pleased. we will be returning back with the rest of our family soon.

Beautiful restaurant, delicious indian food with generous portions of chicken. Usually, my butter chicken has 3 miserable slices of chicken, but here the sauce is full of tender chicken cubes. The naan is fresh and the juice drinks taste natural. Raj our server was very nice and we sat down quickly. Lastly the atmosphere is very soothing with soft indian music playing overhead.

We loved it. The food was fabulous with generous portions. I asked that my lamb be mild, and it was, although it still had enough heat to make me sweat just a little. It was delicious! Our server was Raj, and he took great care of us for our dinner. The atmosphere was elegant and clean. I found the music to be just a tad loud, but others will probably differ in opinion. The ice cream dessert was incredible. I took a photo. Raj said he made it himself, and explained its creation. I highly recommend this asian cuisine restaurant.

My SO and I stopped in here for lunch. The staff was excellent and the food was top notch. We started with the veggie samosas. The pastry was light and fluffy and the filing was tasty. I had the Saag Paneer and my SO had the butter chicken. The paneer was just the right combination of spice with lots of tasty pieces of paneer. SO said the butter chicken was incredibly tender and the butter sauce was excellent.

Staff was very attentive while being unobtrusive.

We were here with the big party of 11. They were able to accommodate us the same day. Food was very tasty. And our server Raj made sure we had everything we needed. He did a great job. We definitely will come back. We enjoyed the whole experience.

I just discovered what may be my favorite pad thai rendition. 🤤 I love ordering this wherever I go, and this one had an exceptional flavor palette and sauce level to it. I forgot to take a picture of the palak chaat which was my favorite app of the few I ordered. If it’s worth anything, 2nd place goes to 🥁 palak ke phool. Yum!
