Real crab, cream cheese and curry powder. The egg rolls were a hit and eaten before I could photograph. Will add more photos next time.

I eat Prik King almost everytime. The WORST "boiled" chicken Prik King, I have had in my Thai food eating life. Tasteless, awful and really bad! Hopefully, this was a one time thing and it will be OK next time I go there. I asked "THAI SPICE" - what I got was BOILED chicken, LOTS of carrots, crappy, boiled CAPSICUM and no taste of ginger or spice and MILD food. The fried rice was again just boiled meat in rice......C'mn guys, I like your food, get it back to what it was 2 months ago!!!!

There is a woman at this restaurant who is very rude. I wanted to use the restroom, but she refused to let me in in a strange manner. She was really odd. If this restaurant wants to be good, they need to replace her.

The absolute best Thai food in Tampa!!! All their food is absolutely delicious, the staff is so kind and attentive, and the restaurant ambiance is perfect for a date night or family dinner. Go here, you won’t regret it!

We have gone to Rouen Thai twice since the last update. They are back to excellence in all areas!

UPDATE DEC 2023. Noticed prices are higher-somebody has to pay for that and it is usually the consumer. I get that no issue. They redid the layout of the floor and got rid of a tripping hazard-kudos.

The food is good but not as good as it was a number of months ago.

Service. The guy forgot to bring my drink and pretended he had not heard my order. I am louder than most folks as well as my family and he got their orders ok. Say "sorry " don't lie.

They spilled some of my curry on me and made no effort to clean up. I got up and asked for a bunch of napkins. Water refills? You have to loudly demand them. Any service ar all has to be demanded. The polite efficient ladies are gone and some rude clueless guy was managing. Debating whether or not to give them a second chance.

Great food. Fast and polite service. Take out is not as great but still good. Agreat value and a great place and we just keep going back. Consistently great.

This is one of my family's go-to places in the neighborhood. The noodle dishes come out hot and fresh. We mostly do take out but have eaten in a few times. My toddler feels welcomed and comfortable.

We came in 30 minutes before closing and they were happy to serve us. Had some hot sake and those Thai-style eggrolls to start with. For our entrees we had the pepper beef and the pad Thai (Thai spicy) which were both fantastic. Both entrees came very quickly and the staff was great. Will be returning!

We went as a family after my granddaughters concert! The service was perfect and the food exceptional. Everyone was accomadated with their specific requests and the prices are great! Clean bathroom and plenty of parking. Recommend!!

First time visiting Rouen Thai. Food was really good and servers were very friendly. Would definitely return. I ordered the pineapple curry, which was pretty good. Others at my table ordered pad Thai and pad see ew and were very happy

Terrible service. Went as a group and our food was cold. Also ordered some Thai donuts. They were uncooked and we told the waitress and she said to eat around them and not the center of the donut. We thought it was a joke but she was serious.That can make people sick. She took left over back and we thought they were going to make a new free order but they just packed them to go.. Food poisoning is real. Also was kinda rude when another guy from the group told her that he ordered shrimp and she said she understood some different. Worst service Ever! A member left no tip and they also complain about that. We just can’t believe all of this was happening.

Literally my favorite restaurant in tampa. Ive been coming here for years and have never been disappointed or had a bad visit. Everything on the menu ive tried has been delicious and is always plated beautifully. The inside of the restaurant is beautiful and the soft lighting makes it super cozy and comfortable, the staff are always very kind as well so its a very inviting place to go. Its a favorite spot my family likes to go for birthdays and celebrations.

I get takeaway one or twice a month usually and theyve never messed up my order and everything is always packaged up really nicely to avoid spills (noodles wrapped in tinfoil in the takeaway container etc.) Its a bit pricey but it matches the quality and quantity of the food (i always end up with leftovers enough for 1-2 more meals n omatter what i order, their portions are pretty sizeable). My favs i would recommend would be the spicy chicken pad thai or the vegetable fried rice (they steam the vegetables i think so they are cooked but have a really pleasant crunch to them and they are always cut really beautifully, i never knew fried rice could be pretty but it definitely is!)

Their spring rolls, chicken rice soup, curries, pad thai and ried rice dishes would probably be my top recommendations.

I have been looking for a Thai restaurant with food as authentic and tasty as the Thai food in NYC. Finally found the place. This is THE BEST Thai food in Tampa.

Sadly the appetizer platter was poor. Only the pot stickers were good. The shrimp were just threads. Egg rolls were soggy and small. Etc. I was the only diner at 5pm although there were a few take outs.

They served me a kids portion in an ugly leaf plate you typically use for Christmas candy or find at a garage sale... they don't have mild, they start with medium which numbs your mouth and swells your tongue so plan on slurring for a while... drive a few more miles for the best Thai around... Thai Am on 4th St. in St. Pete...

Will not be eating here again . I have been coming to this restaurant for years . And since the pandemic they raised prices and insanely decreased the portion sizes ! I got the sweet and sour chicken . I had a baby corn cut in half 95% carrots 2 slivers of chicken and 1 mushroom cut in 4 ways .. the bowl itself was bigger then my portion . I feel if you’re going to cut portion plates that much at least change the size of the plate so it’s not so noticeable . It was ridiculous for the price ! You’re better off going to a regular walk in Chinese restaurant. The parking lot was dead empty on a Saturday night and that speaks volumes in itself of how far this restaurant has fallen ! Will not be returning there anymore . The pictures on google are clearly deceiving at this point. Don’t believe me ? Look at the pictures online and go in and you will see for yourself ! Don’t waist your money here ! I definitely won’t ever again !

Not the same Rouen Thai. Over the last several months they have raised their prices & decreased their portion. Asked for extra curry sauce for an extra $5 then was told that they can't give me extra curry. When I looked at my original order it was less than 1/2 way filled. Hope they fix these problems and get back to the way it used to be.

I ordered online directly from their site but then 15 minutes later I was notified by email that it had been cancelled after I was already on the way. When I called, the lady who answered said the website isn’t working. Ok, so turn it off. Lol

Anyways, she took my order over the phone and was apologetic. The food came out pretty quickly. I ordered the hot chicken pad Thai and egg rolls. Both were delicious and I’d definitely order again.

We sat down to eat, the soups came out first and they were basically mushroom soup with a few small pieces of chicken! Not ok!
We didn’t stay. There are supposed to be vegetables and flavor to the soup. This isn’t acceptable.

We ordered thai food from Rouen Thai tonight. We placed a large order for pick up. Being such a big order, we anticipated a long wait. When I arrived for pick up, I was told the order would be a few minutes longer to prepare. The staff brought out the order in bags. I checked a few things in the bag - satisfied everything was there, I walked out the door with the various bags. When I was loading the bags in my car, a member of the waitress staff ran out to inform me i was missing part of my order and they would bring out the food. I waited a minute and the waitress delivered as promised. When I got home and divided up the food, we noticed some soup we ordered was missing. No big issue we thought as we got the soup to try rather than be a main course. 20 minutes after eating, we got a call from Rouen Thai informing us they had forgotten to include our soup and said they would credit us next time we ate there. Thank you Rouen Thai for your integrity. The food was good enough to give you a five star - realizing your mistake and making it right made us return customers.

Very good food, one of my all time favorites in South Tampa for Thai cuisine, family loves it as well.

The food is very good but the place just seems dirty. The table cloths have old food residue on them and what bothered me the most was that the server we had was sneezing and coughing. We are in a pandemic. Don’t come to work if you are sick. I suggest ordering takeout only. But considering the cleanliness of the dining room I doubt the kitchen is clean either.

Amazing, Amazing, Amazing

I was there last night to try my standard meal and I was astounded by how amazing it was. Not only was the vegetarian tofu crispy and cooked to the tea, but the vegetables were fresh and properly prepared. While the outside does not necessarily show a welcoming air, the inside was well-decorated, as most Thai restaurants are. It was also very spacious and clean. If you are a fan of Thai food, which I have obviously become, give this place a try, it's really, really good.

My 2nd time eating here. My sister's 1st. My sister Charlene ordered for take out. We got panang curry, crab rangoon, seaweed soup & tofu with brown jasmine rice along with the banana coins and chicken rice soup. Everything was absolutely delicious! Prices decent and right down the road from our apt. Ann is super nice and professional. We were charged for 2 orders of banana coins and only got one. My sister called back and we opted to just come by and get the second order. We are half filipino and the banana coins are just like the banana turon we love so much. When this whole issue with Covid 19 blows over, this will be the first place we go out to. You will not be disappointed. Lets keep this place open!!

I am so disappointed! I had not been to Rouen thai in a long time. I was really looking forward to it. We decided to do take out but ordered in the restaurant. When I got home I had the duck i ordered but not the sauce I ordered. The portion of duck was smaller also. My husband ordered the pork panang. He only found 3 small pieces of pork in the entire dish. So upset i didnt even make the trip back to get what I ordered in the first place.

Probably the best table service Thai restaurant in South Tampa. The panang and drunken noodles were top notch but one of the best items in the menu is unexpected: a side order of egg fried rice. It hits every savory spot and practically melts in your mouth.

I was very hopeful to have another Thai restaurant in the area but all 4 of us believe the lunch was bland and less tasty then their competition. The service was good and the restaurant called to tell us that they forgot to give us the dry pepper to spice the meal. Nice touch but not worty going back for.

Good Thai food. Super friendly people and a low-key place that wasn't crowded. Way nicer inside than expected. Great Thai tea, and great curry. I had panang curry and he had the amazing curry—both were great! They didn't ask us our preferred spice level, so both dishes came mild; if you want a higher spice level, you may need to ask when you order. We asked for a spice tray.

Food and service were good as always.
Recommend Grouper in Chili sauce. They do a very nice job with duck dishes and the Pad Thai is excellent.
They now serve sushi as well.

My husband and I are foodies. We usually cook because we love flavor and spice, but always looking for a nice place to eat. This place tops the charts with quality of food and service. We have eaten at many Thai restaurants and this is by far the best. (My husband has been to Thailand and says this is a close as he has tasted)

Great Thai food and a quiet environment.

I've been going here for nearly four years now, and love the place overall. I would rate it five stars if not for the fact that the lunch portion sizes and spice levels have been fairly inconsistent. I order Thai hot every time and usually have to ask for the spice tray, but occasionally I'll order Thai hot and what they bring me is face numbingly hot (which is the way I like it.)

Have been a customer for years - love this place! Especially love the new sushi bar and one of the sushi chef's, Kay. The rest of the staff is great too, very attentive!
