Definitely a hole in the wall spot but still decided to order. Upon pickup there was no one there and it really isn't inviting so eating here was not an option. It's gloomy and dated. I got the chicken drunken noodles, a side of the fried rice and spring rolls. The spring rolls were my fave. The drunken noodles were ok but spicy. Medium spicy so beware if you don't do spicy. The rice was meh. It had a weird aftertaste so I didn't eat it.
The food was great, not too saucy. The spiciness of a dish is indicated in the menu. The hot and sour soup is fresh, you chose your protein for soup and most dishes. Most dishes are 15 dollars and up, soups are closer to six. We had the sampler appetizer, hot and sour soup with tofu, the Pad Woon Sen with tofu, and garden vegetable delight with beef. All tasted great. The restaurant itself is very dated, but overall it was nice. If dining in they automatically give you water, which was fine for us, but we didn't ask to see if we could have gotten soda or tea.
The food was great. The restaurant is somewhat dated. The bathroom was out of order. This is definitely a mom and pop place. Overall it was worth the visit. I would definitely visit again. The egg rolls were great. The food came quickly. B.Strong approved. ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ช๐ฝ๐ช๐ฝ๐ช๐ฝ๐ช๐ฝ
My husband and I have both had Thai food a number of times before (and even made a few dishes at home), but this was our first time at this particular restaurant. We were on our way to go shopping at Home Goods next door, and stopped to look at the menu in their window, and decided to treat ourselves to lunch out with our kids before going home. We both chose chicken meals from the lunch menu, which came with a choice of soup or salad, for only $9. The portions were huge & so filling, and so delicious. Honestly, some of the best food we've ever had, period. I loved my spicy cashew chicken with Jasmine rice, and my husband's spicy chicken noodle bowl was so good too (although he made a huge faux pas by eating before taking a photo ๐) Amazing flavors, and just the right amount of spice. Our girls (4 & 1) shared the kids fried rice, and I tried it as well, and it was so good too. We were both happy dancing while eating, and just kept marvelling over how good it all was, and congratulating ourselves on our great choices. This was our first visit, but it will not be our last; we're already trying to plan when we can return!
The food had a good taste. I ordered panang curry with chicken. I enjoyed the taste and spicy. The rice portion was very small. Also, the amount of veggies in the meal was very light. The service was "quiet" and not welcoming.
Tucked in the corner of the shopping plaza, this little spot offers fresh, flavorful dishes. My new favorite, pineapple rice! Oh my, rice, sautรฉed with chicken or protein of your choice, raisins, pineapple, peas and nuts! Scrumptious! I split the dish with my mom and she enjoyed it tooโฆ we left nothing on our plates๐The owner/ chef is very helpful, telling me what meals were gluten free. She then prepared our meals in no time at all! This is a great place for a meal, eat in or carry out!
Grabbed a to-go order while shopping. Would not choose to dine in there for dinner because it was not that inviting and they do not serve alcohol. We ordered Chicken Pad Thai, Beef Pad See Ew and Teriyaki Chicken. All 3 entrรฉes were fresh and tastyโฆnot over sauced or cooked! Proportions were a little smaller than some chain restaurants, so we did not share dishes like usual. Will eat again for lunch.
Food is good. The problem is the rude college age Asian waitress ruined the experience, and she even claimed that their bathroom was out of order. Florida law says that you must provide access to the bathroom for paying patrons and so this place should be shut down if they can't provide a working restroom.
The food had a good taste. I ordered panang curry with chicken. I enjoyed the taste and spicy. The rice portion was very small. Also, the amount of veggies in the meal was very light. The service was "quiet" and not welcoming.
Decent food but the young waitress has such a terrible attitude, it was very off-putting.
Fantastic authentic food. Fresh and not just the same stuff you get everywhere else. Quality and made with care.
I got the sampler platter. Chicken was cooked perfectly!
The restaurent owners look tired and stressed. Please come support this little restaurent.
The food here is so authentic and delicious!! I didn't specify a spice level but it was perfect. It was cooked quickly and the family atmosphere was comfortable. The only thing I wished was there was more food... We polished it off. Lol
Definitely a hole in the wall spot but still decided to order. Upon pickup there was no one there and it really isn't inviting so eating here was not an option. It's gloomy and dated. Great place for authentic Thai food Pad Thai was very good
Inaccurate hours, called 9:20 on a friday arrived at 9:40, staff inside, restaurant closed
By all accounts, this place is a dive. However, the food did NOT disappoint! You definitely walk into a hole in the wall, and the customer service is not warm, but I think they are just timid by personality. Our drinks stayed refilled, and we were checked on, so we can't really complain. We ordered 3 dishes: the Pad Thai, Massaman Curry, and the Pad Woon Sen. All were delicious and flavored to perfection. If we are ever in the Tally area again, we will be back!
There was a steady flow of patronage. Most were picking up take out, or placing to go orders. Nice to see they get a good amount of business. Look past the unappealing, not too welcoming ambiance, and give yourself a delicious meal!
We enjoyed the fresh Thai food.
The best food I've ever had. Anyone complaining about wait times or service is simply too entitled. This is the definition of a small business run by a husband and wife. Some of the nicest people I've ever met. Everyone wants to support small business until it comes to a 15min inconvenience. I've been a consistent customer (and employee for a few years in high school) for the past 8 years. Can't recommend this place enough
Friendly server. Food hot and delicious (pad soon sen). Atmosphere could be more inviting.
Food is always great.
Easy to overlook in busy shopping center but I recommend you make the effort. Inside is no frills, but food is delicious, and service is very friendly. I had the drunken noodles and cleaned my plate.
This place was terrible! Unfortunately I ate some of their food anyway and it was as nasty as restaurant itself. Felt bad for the cashier because it was like working in a sweat shop. Dirty, Hot, & not at all what Thai should look or taste likeโฆ just donโt.
Good customer service, good hot food cooked per order.
Two words....Nam Sod!
Dont let the inside fool you, the food is great! One of the only places in town that I can get fresh summer rolls and Larb. They are always friendly and the food is fresh
Walked into this place today to get some much needed Thai food. I was disappointed by this place. The young girl doesnโt even give you 2 minutes to look over the menu before asking what do you want. She doesnโt smile or look friendly at all. The place itself is run down and old. After sitting down and seeing how dusty and old the menu was, I just had to leave. I just couldnโt push myself to pay for this place.
It was my husband and my anniversary, but I got sick so we cancelled our fancy dinner reservations. I really wanted Thai, and had been wanting to try this place. We got delivery to avoid spreading my germs and it was SO GOOD. Will be returning to try more! Highly recommend.
It's ok
But just ok
Food is not like the pictures at all.
Overpriced and not great
Ordered Thai Basil fried rice. Came all stale with the rice smelling as if it were sitting out for 2 days and the shrimps were undercooked. Got a really bad food poisoning that evening. This is an extremely unhygienic place with substandard ethics with what they serve people. Disgusting and I'm still feeling sick. Eat at your own risk. *Came here again by accident. Same exact experience. Hopefully won't get sick again
The food was great, not too saucy. The spiciness of a dish is indicated in the menu. The hot and sour soup is fresh, you chose your protein for soup and most dishes. Great food, great staff. Will definitely be returning
Ordered lunch online to get there to see a sign that they were closed till 4 but they still took my order and charged my card. Maybe work on whatever party your set up with with online orders if you know you will be out. Not the first time this has happened. Or just donโt take online orders. Thankfully got my money back through grub hub going through their customer service but probably will not be back.
Poor atmosphere. Dirty. Service is not friendly. Does not taste like Thai food but Chinese food.
Always Authentic and Delicious.
Best Thai food in Tallahassee.
Good food.
Pretty good service and food. Dunno if I'd go back, but it was good!!
Absolutely fantastic Thai restaurant! The flavors in every dish were incredibly authentic and mouthwatering. From the fragrant curries to the perfectly balanced pad Thai, each bite was a delightful explosion of taste. The ambiance was charming, and the staff were attentive and friendly. A must-visit for any Thai food lover!
Zero atmosphere. Western music, playing too loudly.
We were the only two people who dined in.
All other meals were take-out only.
In the future, mine would be take-out !
___________
Three + minute delay between bringing my food and my guest's.
Very awkward.
Had to ask for chopsticks, soup- spoon, and additional napkins.
Clearly, the kitchen was not prepared for dine in service.
Amazing food!!!
Excellent homemade fresh sauces. We had the not spicy Curry, super tasty! As well we had the Pad Thai noodles, Excellent as well! They have fresh egg rolls and spring rolls! We heard their soups are wonderful, not fatty. We will definitely return...
Our favorite Thai restaurant in town! We love the Fancy Thai Fried Rice, Drunken Noodles, and Coconut Soup.
Really nice owner - great food!
Doesnโt pick up the phone when I try to place a to go order, must not want my business.
Honestly the best Thai in Tallahassee. If I could give half stars I would, only because the spring rolls are plain. Favorite dish is the drunken noodle, good flavor. The owner is very sweet.
*not much of an eat in vibe. I typically get food to go here after shopping
Tucked in the corner of the shopping plaza, this little spot offers fresh, flavorful dishes. My new favorite, pineapple rice! Really good food and friendly staff. I recommend the pineapple fried rice!
Amazing food and amazing experience Iโll give it 6 stars ๐๐๐โค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธ
I have been looking for a good Thai place since I moved here years ago... and I FINALLY found it. The food was divine, and the staff were wonderful. I will be going back for sure.
The food was very tasty at an affordable price.
Honestly, this was one of the best Thai food that I've ever had. He seems like it's a mom-and-pop place and they cook really good authentic food and service is really quick.
Thai food is my favorite and this has to be the worst Thai food I've ever eaten. The chicken was not seasoned and the rice didn't taste right.
I asked for spicy and didn't even get that. The spiciness would have at least added some necessary flavor to this meal.
Very disappointed. Will not be back.
Went 1 hour before the restaurant closed. All the doors are locked, both online and the signs showed they didn't close for another hour. It's most frustrating when you drive to a location that closed early.
Look past the decore and you'll find a no frills Thai restaurant with excellent food. All of our plates were clean at the end of our meal and everyone enjoyed what they ordered. Definitely the best Thai in Tallahassee I've had so far!
We ordered yellow curry, thai basil, and thai fried rice.
Good food! Great prices! Friendly staff!
I traveled 35 minutes to this restaurant because it had good reviews online. However, the food was nothing like the pictures or comments described online. I ordered the Massaman curry and it was brought to me on a flat plate. It literally had 2 pieces of potatoes and 7 pieces of tofu ( Yes, I counted them). The portion was so small it didn't justify the price. Massaman curry is served on a bowl, like a soup. This was atrocious. My friend ordered the Garden Vegetable delight and it was also very disappointing. nothing delightful about it. It didn't look anything like the pictures that are posted online. Anyway, I gave this restaurant 1 star because it didn't deliver as advertised. Please don't do this to people. Be honest with your food and be consistent with your dishes.
Hands down one of the most amazing Thai restaurants Iโve ever been too. Generous portions, great prices, and great service. Iโve never had a dish here that I didnโt love.
Delicious curry, and great service. The Thai tea is superb too!
BUT... if you haven't tried the potstickers, DO IT! They are literally the best potstickers I've EVER HAD and I wish we'd ordered more. SO GOOD OMG.
We have finally given up on Thai Kitchen. When we first started going there about 5 years ago they were fantastic. Not very spicey but authentic flavors and good sized portions with reasonable prices. About one year later the dishes were completely different and not good and portions were getting smaller and smaller. We've gone back a few times hoping that they would get better again. Today was the last straw. We ordered shrimp pad thai and Panange curry with chicken. The portions were tiny. the pad thai barely filled a small bowl, had 4 shrimps and no flavor. The Panange curry was mostly coconut milk (the dish did not fill the take out container and coconut milk was 1/3 of that) with some vegetables, slight spice and a little flavor, 7 tiny slivers of chicken. For $25 absolutely ridiculous. We are sad that the quality and quantity of what once was a good restaurant is gone.
My husband and I have had incredible and authentic Thai food in Asia, Houston, New York, Atlanta and other cities and homemade Thai food at friends houses. 5 years ago this restaurant's food tasted like very good Thai homecooking. It is nothing like that now.
It was clear that the owners do not want people to dine in. The chairs and tables were pushed up against the wall. A family came in who wanted to dine while we were waiting for our food and were reluctantly allowed to stay. A sad and completely different experience than we had 5 years ago.
Great lunch place!
Great flavors and service!
Good if your vegan...
5 stars all day everyday, without a doubt the best thia food in tallahassee
We got the drunken noodle and Pad See Ew and It was amazing! The service was great and quick. Best Thai food in Tallahassee
This small yet comfortable Thai restaurant with Great Authentic food and wonderful service is great for lunch and dinner! I have so many favorite dishes here, more than any other restaurant I visit.
20 dollar for 3 shrimps in pad thai and 2 egg rolls.
Just ok. I'm full. The green curry wasn't too terribly spicy. Kind of mild. My husband had another dish which neither of us can remember the name and it really had no taste. Just ok overall. We probably won't go back.

Ordered the Chicken Pad Thai, Eggrolls and the Shrimp Coconut soup. Food was brought out quick and while I enjoyed the Pad Thai and Coconut Soup I felt the Eggrolls were off. The filling was minimal which lead to them being overcooked and nothing but the eggroll wrap inside. I'd come back for Pad Thai and Coconut soup though
The food is good but the lady doesn't respect disabled people. I'm used to the spice of Thai food so i order Thai hot. The waitress overrode what i ordered and gave me mild.she also argued with me over my not wanting ice.it's not worth it. If you have an I/DD don't come here. You won't be respected
My boyfriend and I always come here from some yummy pad Thai and crab Rangoon. They have friendly service and great portion sizes.
Great service and really enjoyed the Chicken with cashews!
best thai food in tally!!!
Pad Thai was great ๐
Party good food. Place a bit shabby
Their food is always amazing!
Typical small family owned. Don't expect nice deco inside. There are a lot supply boxes stacked up behind counter. So better pick a seat facing out. Food were good in general. Chicken was cut very thin. I would prefer take out next time.
ALWAYS.....Amazing food and wonderful service.
Best curry I've ever had!! Love this place; it's always my go-to for takeout!
This the first time we were at this particular restaurant I have Thai food before and my wife never had Thai food if a both of us to eat this was a wonderful experience for one the food was so fresh in the service was so great I couldn't say enough about everything the restaurant is kept up very clean and the owner who cooks the food always comes out and checks to make sure everything's okay any explain to us everything he does is when the orders come in so it is fresh and I can guarantee it's fresh so I definitely recommend this particular restaurant and if you never had Thai food before I think you're going to like it it can go from mild to super hot it's your choice how much heat you can handle so we hope you enjoy your dish in this particular restaurant that we definitely recommend it thank you for reading this review
Teast like Chinese food and need maintenance premises
Good food
Great Thai food, and it's decently priced! Could use a little more spice, but delicious nonetheless.
Traveling through. Love Thai food. Dreary inside. Ordered pad Thai and Thai basil. Brought out basil fried rice too salty to eat. Pad Thai acceptable. Wish we had not stopped.
1st and last time I'll ever come here. Can't believe someone in the hospitality restaurant business would be so rude and uncordial. It doesn't take much to say please and thank you and take my money with a smile.
This place is really good to eat, we usually eat in, we've done takeout once. Not bad either way. I usually get the Pad Thai and it's really good. This is our go to Thai food restaurant even though it's pretty out of the way, it's cheaper than the others (even counting gas with my car)
The Salmon was very good and the service was great.
Great for a quick bite of really good Thai food.
The atmosphere is unpretentious, but the food was super delicious!
Awesome food
As always the BEST Thai in Tallahassee outrageously fantastic Panang Tofu equally fantastic Chicken Pad Thai ( you don't have enough stars)
The Chicken Noodle bowl is now my favorite Thai dish! Its like Thai comfort good. Just enough heat but you can still taste the curry and coconut. The chicken is thin and grilled, lots and lots of noodles!
First time in. Chicken noodle bowl was awesome. The red curry was remarkable too. Will be back again.
The furniture could use some updating but the food was really good. The staff was friendly.
Food was excellent and we enjoyed the dishes we ordered- Thai beef salad, Pad Thai and Thai fried rice !! Thank you for not disappointing ๐
Tried the red cury and yellow cury. The red was better than the yellow, but both were good. Reasonably priced as well.
The food was really bland
We visited the place for the first time today. Everything that we ordered was delicious. We ordered green curry, pad thai, pak pri and pineapple fried rice (my new favorite!) The service was fast. We will definitely come back and I urged others to come and visit the place to try it for yourselves.
Very nice people, lovely food to go with it
Hasn't done us wrong yet! Environment could use improvement, but the food was really tastey.
Very poor wine choices
I had a chicken lunch special
Very mediocre meal
Not a good choice for $8.00
Ive just gotten in Thai food
Best Thai in town.
Delicious. The individual greeting you as you come in is awkward. But the food was good.
Incredible! What an absolute GEM of a local restaurant! This very unassuming, modest little place serves some of the most flavorful food I've ever had, anywhere. This is Thai done to perfection! Grabbed a quick lunch while shopping with my mother-in-law, who is a Thai oficionado, and from the first spoonful we both needed a moment. I had the Panang Curry with Chicken and mom had the Green Curry Chicken. They delivered layer upon layer of flavor, beautiful texture, and a velvety mouth feel...this is my new favorite place! We started with some perfectly grilled Satay Chicken skewers with Peanut Sauce, and some perfectly fresh, crisp and light egg rolls. The prices are super reasonable too. A "must try" for sure!
We love Thai food. For those of you who like authentic Thai cuisine, best NOT to eat at this restaurant. Our order had no authentic Thai flavors, vegetables, or herbs and spices. We are thinking the original restaurant here must have sold to inexperienced owners who have no idea how to prepare true Thai food.
The food was very tasty and flavorful. Nice size portion and very appealing to the eye. Serve was a little slow. But it was lunch or after church time. Only one order person server and person to clean tables. I would've given them five stars if it wasn't for that. The food was excellent I can't state that enough.
One of the best Thai food in Tally. I highly recommend this place if you have Thai craving.
The BEST Thai food in the city.
Super friendly staff. Iโve been coming here for about three years now and they are so consistent.
10/10 would recommend.
EASILY 5 star Thai (I reserve 5 for truly top notch). Awesome lunch special available. They have nailed taste and consistency. Service friendly and professional and speed (food turnaround) has been fast every time (been there about 5 times). 100% recommend. LOVE the coconut soup- always get it as an appetizer ๐. Portion sizes are always enough and if you have some discipline, you will have some to take home. Cozy no frills dine in available. Take out seems to always be rolling hard; see people rolling in and out throughout dine-in meal; this place is frequented by many diverse people.
The food was very good.
Really tasty Thai food, probably my favorite in Tallahassee in terms of taste.
Highly recommend the drunken noodles and chicken larb
Tried to order here from Grubhub last night and although we got our money back just wanted to say there was small short hairs in 2 out of the 4 items- one being the soup so I didnโt notice till I ate about half the soup ๐คฎ๐คฎ๐คฎ. The second item actually had 2 hairs in it (pad Thai). And they tried to blame it on the Grubhub driver.... So just double check your food if you decide to order from here but I should say the little that we tried was not that great to be honest.
Best Thai food in Tallahassee. Drunken noodle with chicken is my fav, but with tofu makes an amazing ovo-veggie dinner.
Amazing!!
Hands down thee best thai curry! I've only done take out but each time I walk in it feels so homey and welcoming. Usually, who I think, is one of their daughters is off on the side doing her homework but she always makes sure to greet you. I think it's adorable. If you are looking for thai this is the only place you need to go! Thank you and your family so much for the great meals!!
The food here is insanely delicious! The service here is very fast, and the food quality wonโt be compromised even when theyโre busy. Itโs my second time here and it tastes just as good as it was when I first came to try it. You absolutely wonโt be disappointed!
This place is great! The server is really nice and the food is great for it's price!
The curry is great!
Good flavor, but very little food for the price.
We make it a point to try Thai food in every city or town we visit (and we travel a lot), and my son lives in Chicago nearby very good Thai restaurants, Thai Kitchen Cuisine is still my family's favorite! The basil fried rice is great! Not too sweet and spices are well balanced, it is what I like the most so I try it everywhere, not one has come close. My two son's rave about the green and red curry and my husband loves the pad Thai.
Wonderful restaurant. love the proprietor She is amazing and thoughtful.
First time going, the food was great and it came out fast, service was great as well. I will be returning.
Great food and portions.Thai tea is very tasty!
Your warm welcome ,was appreciate the service & cuisine was more than a pleasure!
It was great, but getting the food was slow. Like, you had to wait. Like 5 minutes. Or 10 minutes. I recommend getting the Drunken Noodles, but they're a little spicy. (R., age 9)
Excellent curry & friendly service.
Iโve only ordered from here under the pandemic, but they are pretty quick & I order pickup every time Iโm on Tallahassee.
Very good food, great price..
When they're good, they're very good, and that's normally the case. Otherwise just meh. Just inconsistent. Solid pricing, though, often significantly cheaper than some other Thai places.
Best Thai basil fried rice in all the land!! ๐๐ป๐๐ป๐๐ป
Terrific food with good prices. The service is always fast and friendly.
Vary Good I tried Drunkin Noodle for the first time. I will be back!
Best Thai food in Tallahassee! The staff is wonderful too, always a great experience.
Delicious green curry
I ordered online through Seamless. On the menu was the option to order a side of shrimp. Now I had a large order, but my young child child just wanted steamed rice and shrimp. They called me and said they couldn't make just a side of shrimp, it HAD to be cooked in with one of the main dishes. I said that wouldn't work, because everyone else had spicy dishes and he is very sensitive. She apologized but insisted there was NO WAY for them to make a side of shrimp for my child. Great customer service. I won't be coming back.
The food is always the way I order it, fresh and hot!
The best Thai in Tallahassee! Their food is great and they have large portions for a good price. I always count on having leftover curry the next day for lunch because they give you so much food. 10/10 recommend!
Food always taste nice and fresh, well prepared.
Good food. Nice little place.
Yellow chicken curry was amazing as always
