We got to the restaurant at 830 they sat us down and then rushed us and said we had to order because the kitchen was closing they should have said that before we sat down. The bathroom could use some love! Other th n that I would recommend because you will be pleased with the food!

So many choices from different parts of Asia including Japan and Thailand. We tried panang curry and pad thai noodles as well as orange chicken for our kids. It was a relaxing environment and the staff were nice. The food was very good, i liked pad thai more.

I went there for the lunch special as I usually have for years, ordered the lunch special but to my surprise it is significantly smaller. Not only that but they gave me a “Yellow Submarine” the size of a penny, I have attached a pic with two types of their sushi for comparison. Sadly it seems like this place has started to cut costs and that takes away from the value, people come here for a quick and filling lunch, unfortunately that’s no longer the case.

Really tasty sushi roll. I went with the Mexican roll it was warm and very fresh ended up ordering another one. Staff were really friendly!

Don't get the pad thai with seafood!. Ate here with two friends on a Friday night. They had massamam curry and rice and said it was good. I ordered pad thai with seafood. When it arrived, it was an enormous portion of noodles on a big plate, probably enough to feed a family of 4 or 5, on a syrupy extremely sweet sauce. The shrimp were large and there were rings of squid and a couple of unshelled mussels. I took a couple bites but the noodles were extremely overcooked and the seafood looked kind of okay but was flavorless like something out of a can. The place was packed with a line out the door. I remembered eating here at Lemongrass several years earlier pre-Covid during after hours when it was one of the few places open after the bars closed. I remembered ordering a Ramen dish and thinking it wasn't very good but then thinking it might be better during the day. Here I was a few years later and I was disappointed again We met up with 3 friends afterwards at Tampa Bay Drinkery, which is a unique live music bar with great cocktails. They asked how dinner was. I said I would never eat there again. They were surprised. What about the chicken satay one of them asked I didn't order that, but I'm not going to chance being disappointed for a third time. The service was robotic, impersonal, but maybe it's because Lemongrass is an all night kinda place. But quite honestly I'd rather eat at Waffle House. I know the chicken sandwich would be quite good, and I'd spend $10-15 instead of $50 for a mountain of overcooked noodles on a cotton candy sauce, 95% uneaten.. There are so many better restaurants to choose from in St. Pete. Maybe it's the hurricanes and everyone's traumatized. But, come on St. Pete restaurants! Can you at least act like you're proud of your food and happy to be there serving your customers? Is that really too much to ask of this towm?

I ordered through UBer eats from lemongrass for the first time. I have to give it an average rating because I bought Thai Pad chicken and it was ok but really nothing to it. Didn’t have a Thai taste. Also I was blown out of my mind with the portion size, its for a family of 4. My husband and I ate a little in a cereal bowl and the other 3 parts will go to the garbage. What a waste of food. This is a sin when there are so many people Hungary out there. Also, there’s no need for any restaurant to be serving portions this size. It’s like they say, since Americans are obese, we have to serve these large portions. 😩😡

The sushi and Thai curry were exceptional. The service was prompt, efficient, and courteous.

Very good, lots of flavor, large menu selections, I had the beef & broccoli. My friend had the chicken curry. The flavors were VERY good, and portions were larger than expected. We plan to return when in the area again. Parking was nearby and on the street but reasonable and convenient.

The food is good, people are nice. It's not a five-star because the food is good, but it isn't great. The fried chicken was mostly breading.

I actually have never eaten at the LemonGrass but I received amazing customer service today. I was buying a gift certificate for my granddaughter and was having a hard time accessing my email receipt. The gentleman I talked with was very thorough and professional and even called me back to make sure everything was settled. Really amazing! Thank you!

O lemongrass let me count the ways, my family and I love it here the service is always fast and pleasant. We've never been disappointed from the curry to the appetizers the food is phenomenal and full of flavor.

Salmon out tuna in, the others had too much tempura crunch I could not enjoy the other flavors. Bill 56$

Delicious doesn't even begin to describe the food here. Giant portions, always perfectly prepared. So many options to choose from its often difficult to make a selection, and I've never been disappointed with any of it. Fast and friendly service, family run, clean and cozy restaurant with outdoor seating.

Great lunch specials with miso soup and gyozas, plus your pick of sushi or Thai specials, (which are huge) so when I’m not overly famished I get the delicious sushi. Been here 10+ times and always a great experience.

Disappointed with the pad Thai… the sauce was sweet and sour but I was expecting the real pad Thai sauce. Otherwise the food was good.

We ordered two lunch specials, which were quite delicious and large in portion. The service is regular and the atmosphere is very relaxed. The only thing we didn’t really like was that the avocado in the sushi was not ripe yet and not all of the beef pieces tasted as great. For the rest, it was a good moment to rest and reset ourselves to resume our exploration of St. Pete.

Lemon Grass is one of our favorite restaurants in downtown St. Pete. The food is consistently delicious and the presentation is great.

This is one of those places I always recommend to people new to st Pete. One of my favorites.

The food is the star here. Very flavorful. The sushi and basil chicken were delicious. The location vibe was pretty good. Service wasn’t the best- but it wasn’t bad. No fountain drinks and no bar here.

Fresh and good quality sashimi, delicious sushi rolls, good selection of food and drinks. Server was super nice and accommodating. Food came fast and tasted amazing. The ambiance was great. Desert was incredibly yummy. I’ll definitely go back to try other things they have on their menu.

Finally had dinner here. The menu is enormous. It is also very logically constructed, so it was easy to identify what we each wanted.
We will definitely head back for more meals. There were so many other entrees I wanted to try!
So, we went back with family which were in town visiting. The menu is so diverse it has something fir everyone.
When seated, the host warned that they were short staffed. But, our server did a great job, and food was out with every course in reasonable time. Definitely sticking with all 5' stars.
BACK FOR MORE! Daughter was in town, wanted a healthy choice of food. Still 5 stars!

Worst Thai/ Japanese food ever!!!!

The food was amazing! My wife and I had the miso souo, rainbow roll, and chicken fried rice. They were all very good and the portions were big enough to share! Great service and great place.

Highly recommend for visitors, or a good casual date spot with the added bonus of it being so close to other things to do/see in downtown. Of course if your a local you may find yourself repeating often.

I never have a bad meal at Lemongrass. Almost everything I’ve ever had here is phenomenal. The sushi is fresh, the tapas are delicious, and the desserts are sinfully good. I cannot recommend this place enough!

If I could put zero stars I would, worst food I have had in Tampa area. They made us pay the bill on a bunch of food that wasn’t even edible. The menu description did not match the food, the spicy tuna is not spicy tuna, the Thai wasn’t good either. Highly recommend anything over this place. Our bill was 100$ we left hungry!

Very cold waitresses - We went on a monday night, so the place was not crowded. Before the waitress gave us our glasses of water, my husband and I asked to be seated outside, the lady shrugged at us before she agreed to move us. There were at least 7 more empty tables and they were not reserved. Didn't get the attitude.

Food took so long to come out - We only ordered shumai, sashimi, and one blondie roll, and it took 30 minutes for them to prepare it.

Food was HORRIBLE - you can tell the shumai and sashimi were frozen and not fresh; the blondie roll did not have kimchi at all (menu said otherwise) and very thin for a $15-roll. We were also not even served with soy sauce - WHO FORGETS SOY SAUCE FOR SUSHI???

I come here whenever I want sushi 🍣 in St.Pete. Their sliced octopus salad 🐙 🥗 is absolutely delicious. The kimchee dressing they top it with is my favorite. They also put their own kimchee sauce on their spicy tuna roll along with sriracha. That and the quality of the tuna in it is what makes it the best spicy tuna roll that I have had from anywhere. My boyfriend and I went here last night and ordered a few different rolls to try. One of them that we ordered was called The Monkees 🍌🐒 roll and it was the best sushi roll I have had in a long time. The roll is filled with tempura banana, cream cheese, and topped with bbq eel. The sweet and savory combination of the flavors paired extremely well together and was my boyfriends favorite. They have a wide variety of sushi and Thai dishes to try. I really like that you have the option to order all of the different sushi rolls as a whole roll, half roll, or cone/hand roll. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to enjoy delicious sushi in the St.Pete area.

I've been twice for lunch in the past month and both times were great. First time I got the sushi/sashimi lunch special. Second time I got the Singapore Shrimp lunch box. Both were extremely filling and delicious.

I have always enjoyed dining at lemongrass, the food , the service and the ambiance has been fantastic. They have maintained a clean environment pre covid and post covid. I noticed that the waiters clean , sanitize hands when handling credit cards and before touching plates to delivery. I have also seen them cleaning down tables and menus. My favorite is the mussel dynamite, and this dish gets better each time I order it.

This place is sooooo good! The sushi is fantastic and the most fresh food I have ever tasted. I had the Sublime and Finn rolls and are by far my favorites. I also had the crazy train rolls as an appetizer and with the peanut sauce were amazing. The Thai Tea is is a really great drink to order and goes well with anything. That Sam guy is really cool too.

The best sushi in town I will drive an hour for this! So good and the atmosphere is great definitely recommend coming here!

Big portions, good food

So not happy with my experience here. I went for my birthday and the service was terrible and the menu very misleading. I ordered the sushi roll sampler and one would think that you would get a sampler of sushi rolls however you get sushimi and California rolls. When addressing it with our waitress she said there was nothing she could do about it. What a waste. Avoid coming here

Very cute inside, overpriced for the size of rolls we got. Our server seemed preoccupied and had to pull aside another waitress for us to get more rolls. When our original waitress came back we told her we wanted to order more she made a big deal about us ordering more and was like, "more?!" She left again and when we tried to leave we had to grab another waitress so we could get our check. The quality of the fish was fine, the rolls were small. It maybe was just an off day but we left wanting a bit more from our experience. Be ready to spend some

Great food and atmosphere. Always consistent and tasty. Service is always top notch. One of the best places downtown for sushi and Thai. Large menu too!
