Large menu of classic Thai & Japanese plates, plus specialty sushi rolls served in modern surrounds.
Hidden gem in a local strip mall, had lunch with friends and we were so impressed! The food is fresh fresh and the lunch items include either soup or salad and includes a spring roll. Service was excellent, our server Lak deftly took great care of a table of 6 celebrating a birthday. We will definitely be back😊🪷
We stopped here on a road trip and were so glad we found it. The sushi was so tasty so fresh so flavorful. The pad Thai was the best I’ve had all year, tofu crisped to perfection. The presentation of the dishes were mouthwatering as well. I would come here everyday if I could !
My experience is usually good at this restaurant but I finally decided to order my 2-year-old some food so I ordered him fried rice with chicken. Well when I got there the lady decided that since they don't have a kids menu that she wanted to make him what she wanted and it was a pile of white rice which my toddler does not like plain rice and it had some flat breaded fried chicken. I said he doesn't like that. He's not going to eat that well. She started getting upset with me. Then she turned around and said well. We'll fix it. I said okay he can he have his chicken fried rice because that's what he likes because they have the same restaurant in fort Pierce and that's what we normally get when we're at the fort Pierce Thai restaurant so she goes back gives it to the cook. I get it back. The eggs are burnt. The chives are burnt and the chicken is burnt there's clumps of white rice amongst it because they weren't going to waste the rice which I don't blame them. But my toddler only took one bite of it and didn't like it. His dad said this looks like something that came out of the trash. So now I'm out of $14 on this dish nobody wanted to eat. So be careful when you return your food they might get upset and burn it. And I'm almost 100% sure they're affiliated with the wasabi Thai sushi restaurant that's on Orange avenue in fort Pierce. And the one in fort Pierce is really good. They have a kids menu there. They cooked fried rice with chicken down there and he absolutely loved it. He was dancing. I really wish they could have given me my $14 back. $14 is a lot of money these days.
After several visits to Wasabi, I've update the review with more dishes. The original review still holds.
This is a small Thai/Sushi restaurant located next to Publix. There is a sushi bar counter and a mix of table and booth seating. I found all of the dishes I tried used good quality ingredients that were well prepared.
Thai food is my favorite, so I have a few standard dishes I use to test the quality and flavor. I've listed these dishes in order of my preference when ordered at Wasabi:
1). Panang Curry (Beef) - This was the best Panang curry I've had in a very long time!!! I've been to many thai restaurants that have watered down curries, this was NOT the case at Wasabi. The curry was nice and creamy almost like Choo Chee curry. This Panang Curry from Wasabi is in my top three of all time! I will be making special trips to Wasabi just for this dish.
2a). Choo Chee Salmon - I tie this for second place. The Salmon was well prepared with a slight char on the surface, just the way I like it. The Choo Chee was creamy with plentiful sauce, like their other curries.
2b). Pad Prik Khing (Beef) - It's no surprise this green bean curry dish was good, given how delicious the Panang curry was.
3). Beef Nagimaki - scallions rolled in thinly sliced beef topped with (II think) a teriyaki sauce. A nice beefy flavor.
4). Drunken Noodle (Chicken) - Another favorite dish of mine, well prepared and worth ordering.
5). Won Ton - I had this as a side and main dish, the only difference being portion size (one wonton was in the side dish, three wontons were in dinner portion). The won tons are hand made here. When something is handmade like this, the restaurant stands out because of the distinctive flavor that make handmade items unique. I found this soup very flavorful.
6). Tom Kha Kai (Chicken) - This is my favorite soup, but was slightly above average here. The quality was good and the soup wasn't watered down, but it was missing some of the tangy flavor I love in this soup. Tom Kha is Tom Yum with coconut milk, so the tangy flavor that comes in Tom Yum should still come through.
Other items I tried were: Thai Iced Tea and the side salad. Both of these items were what I would expect on average from a Thai restaurant.
It’s a reasonable priced restaurant for the portion sizes which are very generous! We tried the duck soup and a bento box! Both nice and there was plenty of food but lacking depth of flavour, left a little underwhelmed! The sashimi was all similar tasting and a little disappointing! Teriyaki chicken was very good as were the crispy salmon rolls! Service efficient, pleasant but not over friendly!
delicious food every single time! my family loves it here and we eat here as often as we can! i’m preparing to order a sushi for for an event this week!
Great value.
Fantastic service and great food. We had the Nam Sod chicken salad, Panang Curry and Massaman curry. Fresh , tasty and great portion size. Highly recommend 💕
Excellent food. Ordered the Panang Curry Chicken and it was the best I’ve ever had. The owners are very friendly along with the servers. A must if you are in the area looking for Thai
Best vegetarian drunken noodles. I really like spicy food so I always get the 5 star Thai hot for spice level. Love their conch and octopus salad too, so fresh!

Generous portions, fresh and delicious, great service.
Great combination fried rice.
Great food and amazing service.
I had the Crispy Duck with Thai tea. Loved the vibe and atmosphere here. And the service was amazing. Will return.
Sam is wonderful! All of the staff are very attentive, and the food is terrific and very authentic.
I came in with my family and it was busy so I knew the food was going to be good . I was wrong it was very mid ! And the service was not good at all . I watched all around us get served and we sat down way before them then as I was ready to leave they came to take our order . Food very mid definitely won’t be coming back and also they charged me for something I didn’t get and when we told them they became very rude . This was my first and last time coming especially with mediocre food.
It was a great dinning experience. Food and service was great. I will definitely be back.
Great service
First time visiting, and won't be the last. Everything was absolutely delicious.
Being in a strip mall is maybe not the best location but I’ve eaten here many times and it has been really good every time!!!
In the past this restaurant was one of our favorites but no longer. My pad Thai was not as ordered. The peanut sauce on salad was watery and tasteless. We asked to have appetizers be finished along with one drink then have meals served. Food came within 2-3 minutes so that didn’t work. While we could understand staff hurrying about, it was too much. Plates were literally snatched off our table, nobody asked if we wanted second drink, dessert, or if food was satisfactory. The bill was dropped without a word. The entire experience was unpleasant and reminded me of the old eat and get out army’s way. Obviously all staff wanted was for us to eat and get out so more people could continue to come in. Too bad, a good place no longer good. Won’t go back.
Always have a great dinner. The staff is always friendly and helpful.
Great sushi. Best in IRC by far. Consistently awesome! I would given 5 stars if I hadn't been to Japan for "real" sushi. Great place, great service (or take out), you will not be disappointed!
Tasty food, fresh ingredients. Definitely recommend if you want to step outside of the norm or want some fresh eats
Great service, fast food and it was awesome, quiet quaint place. Highly recommend.
Always the best of everything at Wasabi!!!
It is very dark and cozy i LOVE thier miso soup and the S3 is pretty good for lunch I come there mostly on weekends and I just love this place it's just PERFECT (aka the kid that always orders the S3)
Best Sushi in Sebastian
Some of the best sushi I have had. My daughter and I really enjoyed the food and the service was great
Edited 9/27/24: I sadly had to downgrade my review after years of coming here. This place has changed. The quality isn’t like it used to be. The raw sushi felt warm and the cooked fried sushi felt cold! The staff has changed too-different waitresses and sushi makers. The person I was with got diarrhea from this place and others online have too. I hope they make changes to go back to what it used to be!
2 years ago review: Love this place! Have been coming here since 2016 and it’s always been consistently good! It’s on the small side so make reservations or be prepared to wait during busy times. Order the bento box! It’s a great value and provides a lot of variety for you to try several types of sushi.
Not impressed.
Excellent food and service.
Great restaurant! We been going here about 5 years! We are a family of 5 people. We dine in and get food to go for home both. Not once have they ever messed up an order or forgotten something when we get it to go. We have no checked our food to go in ages! Don’t bother lol This is the only restaurant I’ve ever heard of in my lifetime this has ever happened at! No one has ever heard of this happening to anyone! food is great! Fairly priced! Staff is friendly! We never had a problem here ever with messed up orders. They are paying attention!
Wasabi is very clean. No over powering cleaning supply smell either! Nice calm atmosphere to sit down and have a meal. We have never not liked anything we tried. Kids have their favorites. So do we. We always liked to try something new. We have just about hit it all. No yet but we are getting there!
I thought this restaurant would be an amazing spot for me and my husband on our vacation. Then we were unlucky enough to get Pookie as our waitress. She charged me for things I did not order, she brought us someone else’s food, was very argumentative and down right rude. We will not be returning to a place that thinks that kind of staff is how to run a business.
Consistently good 👍
1st visit. Dine in. Nice atmosphere, pleasant waitress, food quick, hot, & good. Had beef Lad Na & Miso soup, Thai Tea.Thai tea to die for 5/5, taste of honey, but will have to limit these to once a month as I am diabetic. So good. Beef Lad Na was excellent, has large noodles in the dish, it does have a faint sweet taste, that I didnt like, but still 5/5. Miso soup 5/5. Visited at 4pm, and there were 6 more people eating there. Will visit this place again in the future.
We stopped here on a road trip and were so glad we found it. The sushi was so tasty so fresh so flavorful. The pad Thai was the best I’ve had all year, tofu crisped to perfection. The presentation of the dishes were mouthwatering as well. I would come here everyday if I could !
Youtube criss cross adventures- my mom and I film A honest review- just uploaded this video ... go watch
We shared a sushi boat for 2 🍣. It was excellent - fresh and tasty 😋 thank you!
Great food and quality.will definet go back!!!
Food and service is amazing
Been to Wasabi many times. It's great to see that they are still around and providing consistant service and food quality. The sushi is always good and their other dishes are always well prepared.
They have the best sushi in town. I like to order the fried rice in a pineapple and it's just amazing. Staff is friendly and the service is great. Highly recommend.
Went there last night and wasn't impressed at all. It just seems like when ever I order chicken at a Chinese restaurant it doesn't look or taste like chicken. Egg rolls were ok that's about it.
Absolutely delicious! Sushi was flavorful and fresh with many different options. The soup of the day was amazing! Prices are great. The online system makes ordering super easy.
No more sushi after 3:30.. what the h...
Been going here for a few years when I come to visit family. Always amazing food. The fish is always so fresh. We always get excellent service and they have amazing drinks. 10/10 would recommend.
We absolutely love going into Wasabi. The vibe is great and the service is always wonderful. The food is stellar.

Sushi quality has always been excellent. Service has always been very good. No complaints.
awesome food, great food
Excellent service... food isn't terrible, but the sushi wasn't great at all. They have some pretty unique interpretations of things like "spicy tuna" roll so ask about ingredients before ordering!
The food here is very good! I love their ginger dressing always tastes so fresh! The crispy duck is delicious! My husband loves the sushi! And the kids love the tempura!
Quaint little restuarant we hoped to enjoy. Unfortunately we felt rushed throuhout the experience and the quality of sushi below average. I am quite familiar with preparation and presentation, having tried sushi throuhout the world. Appetizer and main meal brought out simultaneously. Sushi rolls are small, heavy rice, poor fish content, and heavily bathed in sauces, depending on your roll. Perhaps their Thai food is better, but i can not recommend the sushi.

Delicious food, good service. Small place with tables kinda crammed together but otherwise great place. We go often
My favorite sushi restaurant. Very few compare to the quality of the sushi served. Being a snowbird, wasabi is one of the thing I miss most when I return to Pittsburgh. Their Thai dishes are also amazing, from cuties to drunken noodles.
Usual order wonton soup was excellent some of the best around.
Pad Thai was also pretty good as usual
Now the bad chicken fried rice was absolute trash, clumping rise no flavor few pieces of tomatoes
This is unusual from this place but also unacceptable
Still a good place but the cook must of had a bad day
Sushi is always great.
Good food amazing food
To me sushi is raw! To much cooked stuff. I didn't like it at all.
This place is a hidden gem in Sebastian, FL.
Excellent food quality and service. You may have multiple servers handling your table during your visit. Feel free to ask any of them for assistance. Amy is an amazing server.
First time here and the food was very good and the staff was fantastic!
Always good
Great food every time. We've eaten here numerous times both dine in and take out. It is consistently awesome!!
Every time I travel to my doctor's appointment to Vero Beach, I will always stop by and order my Beef Rad Na and my Thai Tea before I head back home to Orlando. Their noodles are fresh and are supposed to be made the way it should be. Always asked for LOTS of pepper 😋 ขอบคุณ 🙏 to Wasabi Thai Sushi.
Absolutely the best Sushi I've had. HUGE rolls, make sure you're hungry. Prices are high but reflect the quality of the food.
We have always had the best experience whether dining in or picking up take out. The sushi bar is our favorite place to sit, the chefs make us feel welcome!
We went there with friends for the first time. We decided to try the Crab Rangoon (it was okay), Soft Shell Crab was horrible and disgusting 🤢 overcooked and too much batter, did not taste like soft shell crab at all! For the main we had the masaman curry, okay but tasteless. Except for the bad food the prices are comparable to a good restaurant which this place is definitely not.
Our friends had Sushi with seemed actually good.
If you go there only eat sushi not the cooked food, but know its price for a “Chinese” type restaurant, nothing spectacular for what you pay for.
Great sushi, other great Tai dinners if someone in your group doesn't like sushi.

Good food, nice sushi too!
Good susi. Great music selection. Love the Bento box for lunch. Had one today. My goto place. Seafood Dynamite.
Love, all fresh
My go to place while visiting the area
Food and service always excellent and price is VERY reasonable.

A Fusion Delight at Wasabi Thai Sushi: A Culinary Journey to Remember!
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5/5)
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Wasabi Thai Sushi, and I must say, it was an experience that exceeded all expectations. From the moment I stepped through the door, I was captivated by the inviting atmosphere and the promise of a culinary adventure. Wasabi Thai Sushi truly delivered on all fronts, offering an exceptional dining experience that blended the best of Thai and Japanese cuisine.

Whether you're a fan of sushi, a lover of Thai curries, or simply seeking an explosion of flavors, this restaurant has it all. Each dish was a work of art, beautifully presented and bursting with freshness. The sushi rolls were expertly crafted, with a perfect balance of flavors and textures. The Thai curries were rich, aromatic, and packed with authentic spices that transported me straight to the streets of Thailand. Every bite was a journey, and I delighted in exploring the diverse flavors and combinations that the menu had to offer.
The atmosphere at Wasabi Thai Sushi further enhanced the dining experience. The restaurant's sleek and modern design, combined with warm and welcoming lighting, created a comfortable and elegant ambiance. The attention to detail was evident in every aspect, from the tasteful decor to the soothing background music, which added to the overall enjoyment of the meal. Whether you're looking for an intimate dinner for two or a gathering with friends, Wasabi Thai Sushi provides the perfect setting for a memorable dining experience.
The service at Wasabi Thai Sushi was also commendable. The staff was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. They were more than happy to provide recommendations, ensuring that each guest's preferences were catered to. The timing of the service was impeccable, with dishes arriving promptly and seamlessly. The waitstaff's genuine enthusiasm and passion for the cuisine further added to the overall positive experience.
In conclusion, Wasabi Thai Sushi is a true gem for food lovers seeking a fusion adventure. The excellent food, masterful blending of Thai and Japanese flavors, and the inviting atmosphere make it a dining destination worth visiting. With impeccable service and a menu that will delight your taste buds, Wasabi Thai Sushi stands out as a remarkable establishment. I left the restaurant with a satisfied palate, a sense of culinary fulfillment, and the knowledge that I had discovered a hidden gem that will be my go-to destination for Thai and sushi delights.
Great service, great food.
Great service, great food.
Nice place eaten both dine in and take out food is consistent
Very good food and service. And a pretty place!👍👍
Wasabi’s use to be the best restaurant in Sebastian but I feel the food has been slipping for awhile now. Especially if you get it to go.
They must have a new guy making the sushi now because everytime the whole piece falls apart when you try to dip it into soy sauce. Needless to say you cannot pick a piece of sushi that has completely fallen apart out of the soy with chopsticks.
My husband orders the same soup all the time and it’s been consistently getting more watered down. Tonight my egg roll was as hard as a rock. The food has just been consistently inconsistent.
Outstanding service
Looking for a new sushi place close to home and this was exactly what we needed. Good atmosphere, good service, and of course great sushi. From our apps to our rolls everything was freshly made and delicious. Happy to live near here, this may be a once a week treat. Keep up the good work Wasabi!
Had a wonderful meal with my family. Whom I haven't seen for a while . I like eating there for lunch It is reasonable and tasty.
Worst shrimp fried rice I’ve ever had and rolls didn’t look fresh and the girls tried to help but one of the guys at the sushi bar kept from helping me
Excellent food and service service. Great value. I really enjoyed enjoyed my entree and will definitely be going back. Highly recommend this restaurant.
The air conditioner was not working the day we went. EVERYTHING else was great
The waitress was so pleasant and nice.
Best Asian thi/ Japanese food that we have found 13 years of looking. This is our go to place. Best wonton soup I have ever had. My wife love the house lomein.. I have tried sushi rolls all excellent. Teriyaki dishes today tried stir fry outstanding. The soup was crazy good was a name I can't pronounce. Had shrimp mushrooms lemon grass and other veggies the flavor is so deep makes mouth water thinking about it.
This is my go too place for 🍣!!!! I love there crispy eel roll!! They are HUGE!!! Always always delightful 😊 ☺️
Wasabi has always been good , but tonight the sushi was room temperature and the tuna was old. It only takes one time and then I’m never coming back.
Nice atmosphere with excellent selection of food. Very authentic and delicious
Great Asian restaurant in Sebastian. The sushi is fantastic and fresh. We orders the American Dream roll and the Gozilla roll. My other guests ordered five other rolls and they raved about them. Also ordered the curry puffs appetizer... again very tasty. For our main dish we ordered pad-se-ew. The noodles were perfect, soft but not gummy like so many other places. The flavor was bold. Highly recommend.
They don't appreciate your business, so why give it to them? My husband and I have gone to this restaurant since they have opened. It wasn't our favorite sushi, but it is close to where we live, and the only one in town. The staff (who I think are the owners) have become so rude and argumentative that it is no longer worth our going there - especially since a new sushi place opened up close by and they are super friendly, eager and thankful for your business and the sushi is better. Why go somewhere where the people don't appreciate you as a long standing customer. Just yesterday, I tried using a Wasabi branded gift card, and the restaurant was not going to honor it as they said they had no way to check the balance if I didn't have a receipt. Well, fortunately, I had kept the receipt from when I had used it before so I would remember the balance on it. But, I had to drive home, get it, and return to pick up my to-go order. I would much rather give my business to someone who wants it, and actually has better food. We won't be back.
This is my “go to” place for Chicken Pad Thai. Spicy #4. Perfect every time.
It's great for sebastain
The best! Love the sushi here, Tony is the man!
Had a fabulous Panang curry w chicken dish yesterday. The broth! The flavor profile! Yummmm
Excellent Thai and sushi. Very busy on a Saturday night during tourist season. Be prepared to wait 15-30 min or so for a table at this little restaurant. Our waitress was constantly moving, and she did the best she could in a crowded, minimally-staffed restaurant. Sooooo crowded, but soooooo good.
Best Thai I have ever eaten
Always very tasty 😜
Scrumptious 🌚💅
Delicious as always. Thank you So Much.
Notified the staff of my food allergy upon arrival. Was told the couldn't make me pineapple fried rice gluten free but could make me fried rice with pineapple??? Is the pineapple that the dish is served in reused? I was so confused. Ended up forgetting to add the pineapple for me anyway. Waste of time
Very generous portions, fresh and delicious
Smelled like bad fish inside, so I opted for a pork dish. Received a chicken dish instead. It's pretty similar to what I ordered, so I stuck with it to not inconvenience the rest of my party. Everyone's food was mediocre at best. Won't return to this place.
I love their sushi and the wasabi will clear your sinuses.
Fast service and vety friendly.
Great food Great service.
This used to be a 5/5 star location for me. The last three times they continued to lose my respect and now my business! Please allow me to explain! The first two experiences were dine-ins. The food was great quality, but the server was inattentive, dismissive and rude! She seemed as if if she not only wanted to serve us, but was unhappy or bothered by the simplest requests. She had no table manners and didn’t make us feel valued as customer dropping $20-25 per person. Very sad. The last dine in, out party had to switch to to-go as a family member was in the hospital and circumstances changed. She was happy to package the order to go, communication wasn’t the issue. But when I paid with a $100 bill, she never brought a receipt and would never stay by the table any of these occasions to entertain questions or provide any customer service. What a sad excuse in terms of customer service. We had no way to make sure we got our appropriate amount back, but trusted it was correct because we needed to leave rather abruptly given the circumstances. Fast forward to a to-go order… I order a pad Thai for myself. I get down to the final bites and nearly bite down on something very hard!! I come to find out there was a rock or pebble in the food! Fortunately I didn’t bite into it hard, but anyone else could have made that mistake and needed a $1,000.00 plus dentist visit had this happened to anyone else! I was appalled! Did it come from an aquarium, or the floor? How could any dining establishment allow this to happen! And when we brought this to their attention even specifying we didn’t want compensation or a free meal, the same lady just shrugged it off… didn’t even apologize! We even kept the rock and brought it in! Inexcusable and unacceptable by any means! We will not be returning, ever again, sadly.
Titanic roll is on point!
Wasabi is my favorite place in all of Sebastian to come for lunch. Everything is fresh and delicious. Service is fast and prices are fair. Their menu is enormous so there is something for everyone here. They have the best selection of salads, very unique ingredients and large portion sizes. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great lunch or dinner
In my opinion, this is the best restaurant in Sebastian
Food was fabulous. Space was small, and congested. It was a little dark and hard to read the menu. Sooo many things on the menu made it so hard to choose! All in all, would return for the food quality.
Excellent food, EVERY dish I have ever had here has been excellent. We have visited 4 times over the past year. Very fresh, tasty and good value. The staff is also extremely friendly. Lovely little find. Great vegetarian and vegan options.
