Very, very disappointed. I do not understand how a restaurant that has been in our area for so long can actually continue to operate after our experience yesterday evening, February 9th. Find somewhere else for your Thai cuisine, we will not be returning.
No acknowledgment for almost 10 minutes waiting at the hostess stand. It took another 5 minutes to seat the two of us for a party of 6 but there were plenty of tables.
Almost 15 minutes after seating did someone finally get our drink order.
We are 30 minutes in and it is only 4pm. We were immediately told that every entree takes @40 minutes to prepare.
Our witness never offered a refill on drink.
90 minutes after arrival, we only received 4 of the 6 entree orders.
No apologies given by the manager, just the bill will be adjusted.
Upon paying, they wouldn’t take a Visa gift card stating their electronic system doesn’t work with them.
In total, 2 hours at a restaurant for a birthday celebration and a horrible experience.
Had a great time dinning today. Avery was our server tonight and she did a great job, warm personality, attention to details, elevating the experience even more. The place looks brand new, and the decor and atmosphere is phenomenally beautiful. Saving the best for the last, the FOOD, is so rich in flavors, and portions are generous and at a great price point.
I hate to leave a bad review, but the new location of Siam Thai was not ready for the increased number of customers. We arrived at 3pm and had a 30 minute wait for a table. We were seated around 3:30pm and our order was taken a few minutes later. We asked for our drinks after 30 minutes. We got water 15 min later. Someone came by and asked about our order at 4:15pm. We got our appetizer at 4:30pm. We asked for plates and one of the plates had some rice stuck on it. The server just flicked it off onto the table and left it. I think he saw the look on our faces and decided to bring another plate. We finally received our entrees around 4:45pm. 1 hr & 15 minutes after we ordered. My wife's meal did not seem to have any spice. No drink refills. When we got our food the restaurant was no longer full or busy. No one brought the check. I had to go to the front and ask for it. We won't be back for a while.
Arrived when they opened. The atmosphere is beautiful- Hostess was extremely friendly and sat us right away. The service was also friendly but slow-took 10 minutes for drinks to arrive. We noticed a family of 6 next to us place their food orders before any drinks arrived and still didn’t receive water or drinks for another 10 minutes. Ordered a sample appetizer that took 45 minutes. Unfortunately, we felt it came from the frozen section of the grocery store-not authentic Thai. Main was Druken noodles (mild to medium spice order) huge portion but noodles were obviously sitting in the bowl for a long time-stuck together and tasted of mostly soy sauce. The other Main was never served to us-they told us after 45 minutes of waiting that the server should have known it wasn’t being served. They were very polite and apologetic but we didn’t want to wait another 45 minutes to be underwhelmed with another order. I don’t think we’ll be going back.
