Last weekend we ordered a sushi and when the waitress finally came back she gave my table a completely different order, the owner who I had the pleasure of meeting quickly apologized and brought me the right dish. Today I ordered a sushi without Cream cheese to go but when I unpacked it at home I saw that my kids sushi, indeed, had cream cheese I had to remove all the cream cheese from every sushi because my kid cant eat cream cheese. Sir, you must train the personal again, thank you.

We waited an hour and a half did not have a drink until 30 mins went by. Then i had to go inside to ask about our food 1 hour later we got the wrong food order, she said it was ready but they didnt serve it so it was cold and oily. we only got five pieces of sushi rolls with the wrong insides. awful.

I frequent Bluefin often. The food is fresh and unique. The staff is awesome.there are dishes you can’t find anywhere else. I strongly suggest the Hole in One appetizer! If you looked tuna and avacado this is definitely for you!!!

I heard good things about this spot but it didn't live up to it. I had to start a wonton soup which was bland, no taste at all after that a had a salmon roll which was ok untill the last two pieces which had too much gristle. There are much better shushi places to pick.

I cannot say enough good things about Bluefin Japanese Restaurant! From the moment we walked in, the staff treated us like cherished family members. Their warmth and attentiveness made our evening truly special. The miso soup and salad were fresh and flavorful, and their signature Sushi Bomb and Lobster Bomb absolutely blew us away. The Rainbow Rolls were equally impressive—beautifully presented and the best we’ve ever had. If you want delicious, high-quality sushi in a welcoming atmosphere, look no further than Bluefin. Come hear often. This time, we ordered a miso soup and realized there was someone’s old gum on the bowl. We told our waitress and she just said sorry and took the bowl. She didn’t offer any courtesies or offer to get a fresh, clean bowl and still charged us for it. I like this place but the cleanliness isn’t the best and it smells slightly of mold.

I enjoy Sushi, Sashimi, and Thai Food. Bluefin has all of these things! The sushi and sashimi are always fresh and tasty! They have all kinds of rolls, platters, and boats for any size party!

There are many Thai and Japanese choices and they are all very tasty! I've never had a bad meal here.

The owner, Tim, is always checking on his guests and making them feel welcomed, while checking on all the tasks necessary to run a restaurant. The staff is quick to seat you and to get your drinks and orders. Everyone is very friendly and you just feel relaxed and comfortable at Bluefin Sushi at Parkland!

There is outdoor seating available, if you like, and the inside seating is roomy and comfortable. There is plenty of parking all around the center.

This has become one of our favorite spots. Everything in this restaurant is worth 5 stars. The restaurant sits in a nice little hidden area with an adorable outside seating area with lights (nice for a little dinner date). The service is top notch! You walk in and immediately are greeted with smiles and a vibrant atmosphere. Not to mention the food is incredibly good. Every time we come we try something different and every time we are pleasantly surprised with how good everything is. Overall amazing experience.

Great food, fresh, and well presented. Service was friendly, did not have to wait too long for our food. The owner came over and checked that everything was to our liking. If I could give this place 10 stars I would! I have always loved our nights at bluefin. My partner and I have been coming here for years and I have never had any complaints. Never had a bad experience. The food is fabulous. Our waitresses are always so genuine and friendly. The manager/owner are very kind and accommodating. If you are in south Florida and need to find a restaurant that has it all, delicious food and wonderful service, then bluefin Parkland should be at the top of the list! Thanks for being so authentic and providing us with a real and fresh atmosphere and experience 🙌

I've been a loyal customer to this location for I can't remember how long and I've never once been disappointed. After many great experiences I thought I'd use my experience tonight as an example of why I always come back to this location. I decided to order for delivery tonight and a very nice young lady took my order over the phone and there was not one mistake. Ordering was seamless and enjoyable. I was ordering for a family of four so I was expecting it to take at least 45 minutes to be delivered but it was delivered in 20 minutes. The food is always so fresh and delicious, I feel like each time I order it just gets better and better. My go-to is their spicy tuna roll and fried rice and when I say I could eat this every day I mean it. Overall, this is my favorite place to order delivery from and their staff are always amazing. There are simply other options.

I'm disheartened by the service at this restaurant. As a fellow restaurant owner, witnessing how customers are treated is disheartening. We received something that wasn't satisfactory and requested an alternative. However, the Asian waitress, potentially the manager, insisted we still pay for it despite our dissatisfaction and even though we were already paying for the alternative. Additionally, the man behind the counter gave us intimidating looks. It's an experience that leaves a bad taste, and I won't be returning.

The service, as always was great! The servers are so pleasant and prompt. Everyone seems to work well together and happy to serve you.

The food quality and taste is superb. The atmosphere is wonderful- especially the patio set up.

We look forward to our next date night at Bluefin.

It's my neighbor sushi place, family run (I think) with lots of seating indoor and outdoor. They have a decent lunch menu, for Thai or Japanese food. My favs are the Bento boxes.

The place was packed. Service was OK and useful.
There was a lot of noise + music + basketball game on the screens.
The food wad lacking taste.
One of the hot dishes was full with almost uncooked onions with no need (probably because it was the cheapest vegetable included in the dish.
Sushi and Sashimi were mostly OK but nothing out of the ordinary.

$15 sushi lunch combo was fresh and big pieces. the miso soup and fried gyoza were also hot and tasty

I've been a patron of Blue Fin Sushi in Parkland, FL for over 4 years, and unfortunately, I must say that my recent experiences have left me disappointed. While the people and service remain top-notch, I've noticed a significant decline in the quality and authenticity of the food here after comparing to to other mid level restaurants restaurants in the area.

It seems that over the years, there's been a noticeable shift in the flavors and presentation, straying away from what initially drew me to this establishment. As someone who has enjoyed their offerings for quite some time, it pains me to leave this review. However, I do hope that by providing this feedback, it sparks a positive change.

Perhaps with constructive criticism, the management can work towards restoring the quality and authenticity that once made Blue Fin Sushi a standout dining destination. Here's to hoping for improvement in the future.

They also don’t know how to make a Philadelphia roll, which has a pretty consistent recipe across the globe and the internet. Didn’t think that was a roll you could mess up. Charged me to add avocado to my Philadelphia roll, an ingredient it should have had already.

As a entrees we order 3 Rolls:
Miami roll: was good
Boomb roll: was really good with 3 kind of fishes but maybe they could change the asparagus for something else.. like avocado
And the winner was: Crunch Roll: scrumptious!!

Update 2023: we actually haven’t been to Bluefin Parkland in a couple years. Since Yozo San opened Zen in Boca, Bluefin Parkland went downhill. Really sad. Btw, Zen isn’t that good either, not unless you sit at the sushi bar and have Alex serve you.

Update 2015: we're regulars here now. The sushi chefs will prepare almost anything to your taste, especially when you sit at the sushi bar. We are also planning a big party to be held in their private dining room (max capacity 46).

From 2012: The food is good and fresh, more fancy americanized sushi rather than traditional. What Thai we've had was also good, but lacked real Thai flavor (ie fish sauce). But the chef will prepare to your liking if you prefer real seasonings. They have fish sauce in the kitchen, but say americans don't like. Well, we do.

Found hair in my food and got sick from their chicken curry would not recommend .

We ordered here every week, out of the blue the service and quality dropped. I’ve called giving them the benefit of a bad day and it continued. Place must of sold because we could never get Vivian on the phone.

Blue fin is tucked away on a quiet commercial property, it feels romantic and subdued for the location. Went there on a Saturday afternoon date with my wife around 5pm and it was not busy as yet so we did not have to wait and opted to not make a reservation. The staff appears to be one big happy family as i observed all the interactions from hostess to waitress to even a delivery driver/buss boy.
We started with the seafood dumplings and they were absolutely delicious. For drinks i opted for the house sake, hot, my wife had a glass of Sauvignon Blanc. For our main course i had Thai curry duck and i swear, it was the same duck served at the last supper... It was blessed by our Lord and Savior. Duck is a particularly interesting meat to cook since it can have a bit of toughness to it and can dry out more than Turkey but the chefs know exactly how to cook it, fried but not oily and moist on the inside, and the curry had a coconut finish to it with a pleasant heat from the chili peppers absolutely delicious. My wife had the lobster bomb which is a lobster tempura rolls with all the trimmings, she is not a fan of tempura but loves lobster and said it was delightful and she can eat it on another occasion.

Been a customer for 15 yrs , however had not been in a year, ordered tonight - clearly new owner and new chef - food was not as good as when Tim the manager was there. Very sad !

Horrendous customer service. Forgot an item on our takeout and refused to refund us the $9, even after we sent photo proof of an incorrect item. We will never be ordering from here again after we spent $160 on takeout. Hope it was worth the $9. Very sad.

A spontaneous decision brought my bestie and I here to celebrate both our birthdays. The pad Thai is exactly the recipe and consistency I love! Making this my new fav Pad Thai spot! The lunch prices were super fair and options were great. Good portions. I felt nice and full. The jasmine tea was also nice. I love the location too! After ordering food for delivery, they told me it would come in 45 minutes, which would have been almost 4 o’clock. Not only did food not come by 4 o’clock, but the food did not come until 5 o’clock! They also did not even have the courtesy to call to tell me that their delivery driver did not show up and that they were waiting for him. I had to call after waiting over an hour to find this out. Then, when the food finally did come, we did not get our order as we requested. We repeated it several times to them, and they also read it back several times. After telling them this, they said they were going to send somebody back to pick the food up from us when I asked for it to be credited. We literally now have 10 minutes to scarf our food down because we are leaving to catch a movie. I told them we were not going to be home by the time they came back. I told them at the very least that we should get a credit for the food not coming the way we had requested. Their response? Thank you, goodbye! And that was after telling them that we were a long-time customer! Well, they just lost a customer! That is terrible customer service, and I would never go back there!

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! If I could give this place 0 or negative stars I absolutely would. Customer service was horrendous. We were in there for less that 15 minutes. Put in 1 appetizer to order the waitress comes back and ask for our menu and we tell her more than once that we have not ordered yet, and she's goes "I just want to take the menu for someone else" we asked her to be a little bit more friendly, and she brushes it off With her rude attitude without a care in the world. Tried to charge us for stuff we didn't get or use at all.
Didn't try to make the situation better just kept escalating it.
Highly dissatisfied customer.

There is no waitress, the owner is very rude, she does everything by herself and this causes a delay in service. My husband asked for a spoon, she didn't even listen and walked away, later he asked for more tea, of course she forgot, during the check out I told her the service was really bad, she didn't even apologize and was even more rude. This place used to be better years ago.
Do not deserve not even 1 star.

Ordered food online and they did not deliver 2 hours after ordering, tried to call the restaurant several times and it went straight to a full mailbox. Sorry to say, you lost a good costumer. Bluefin thank you for ruin our valentines day

Our experience was rather bad unfortunately. We had all been there before, and we expected great things. We waited 45 minutes for a server, another 10 to be given drinks, and our food came out later, cold, undercooked, and without taste.
When we complain, we were given absolutely no consideration, not even an apology. Only lame excuses!!!

a hidden gem in the middle of parkland. there’s a sushi chef in the middle of the restaurant so you can see him prepping everything fresh. i got a cheese roll, which i thought was going to be a piece of bread for some reason but no. its nori, rice, and cream cheese. good just wasnt what i expected. i was just curious as to what it was. and a chicken tempura roll and kids chicken katsu. lots of chicken for lunch. those were good too. just all a bit pricey.

Great food and service. Haven't been there in a while and it was great to be back. Shared a wonderful sushi boat and we ate every bit. It was very creatively prepared. Next time I will remember to take pictures!

I have been coming to Bluefin for months and their service never let's me down. The food is incredible, always fresh and the portions are generous. The restaurant has a nice ambiance as well. I would highly recommend this place to everyone!

Love it! We are regulars since we found this little gem over a year ago! Best sushi in Broward, especially the Bomb Sushi, Dragon Roll, and Spider Roll. Husband and kids LOVE this place… and if you’re not in the mood for sushi, their curry or noodles are as good! LOVE IT!
