It is a great cuisine restaurant with a huge menu to select from from Japanese to sushi. The decor however is a negative point in this restaurant everything is Red and very dim inside. Don't expect an LED vibrant color light. So all photos come in RED when you take photos inside the restaurant. The food is excellent, a considerable portion for the price and you can taste the authenticity of the food. We ordered, Octopus, Miso Soup, Pad Thai, Moon Thai fried rice and Red Curry you must try they are awesome. The price is reasonable enough because they have a huge menu. The alcohol selection is quite nice. Our server is very polite and attentive to details so he deserves praise. The inside is quite large and you can also sit outside. Overall a great quality restaurant if you want Japanese and sushi to try. Must try.

I love Ramen, and it’s delicious here (I like spicy so I add spicy oil to my tasting - be careful not to add too much because it has a bang). The four seasons roll is great, they definitely take their time with art on presentation as well. Ginger salar is always very good. Duck plate is very good, and desserts are great. You can have both worlds of Thai and Japanese food here!

Thai menu is gas, highly recommend the Tom Kha or Tom Yum. Rising Sun Roll and Spicy Lover Roll can fix you. I could probably stay in here ordering food with friends long enough to watch the sun go down. They also have ESPN or A&E.

Ordered panang curry with chicken to go. Customer service was friendly on the phone and on arrival. The curry tasted delicious but it was mostly broth and very little chicken and vegetables. It's too bad because I loved the flavors but I can't see myself paying $24 for so little food again.

Do NOT eat here! Extremely rude and slow service. Hostess at the front might be the worst of everyone there. I got extrmely sick with food poisoning, no question it was the chicken pad Thai - was my only meal of the day. Had an awful experience dining here, then food poisoning on top of that. Will not be returning!

I would like to share my experience about this restaurant Moon Thai & Japanese restaurant. I was being admitted to Palm Beach Gardens hospital, and due to the timing of my admission I had missed being able to have dinner from the hospital. So I looked up restaurants on Yelp in the area, and found Moon Thai. They looked like a reputable restaurant so I decided to order dinner for me and my wife from them. Since I was in the emergency room waiting on being transferred to a regular room I had to wait before placing the order. Once settled in I had to use UBER eats to order the food since I needed it delivered. Not being familiar with the UBER eats app I accidently placed the same order twice by hitting the wrong key.
Within one minute after ordering the food I check my account and saw that I was charged $82.88 twice, for a total of $165.76. I called the restaurant within two minutes of ordering and requested that they please cancel one of the orders. The young girl who answered the call confirmed that yes two identical orders for George J were placed but refused to cancel one of them even knowing it was a mistake and the order wasn’t even started yet. Why wouldn’t they cancel one order since only a few minutes have passed? When I asked for her name she hung the phone up on me.
I called UBER eats and only was able to talk to a virtual chat program. I feel that the restaurant could have made a good and kind decision knowing there was a mistake. But instead there greed over took kindness and I had no other choice but to have to pay for double the food which went into the garbage. I asked my wife to go to the restaurant the next day and talk to the manager and explain the rudeness of their employee and disappointment I was experiencing. Obviously this incident did not help me in my situation in the hospital. I believe the restaurant gave my wife a small gift card for a far less than the amount of the cost of just one of the meals.
A good restaurant would have recognized the situation and would have done the right thing. So before spending your money there just remember not only is food important, it’s the service they offer there community and customers. So that’s my reason they deserve only 1 star. And you can’t cancel with uber eats that was the first thing I tried.

Our 4th visit to Moon Thai and it never disappoints! Went with Japanese tonight which was as tasty as the Green Curry we enjoyed last visit. Karen who waited on our table was very helpful and kind. Highly recommend!

This is my family’s favorite Thai restaurant in the area. The decor is gorgeous, especially the mural! We typically bring out-of-town guests to this restaurant for a special treat and try to make it in ourselves once a month or so. I literally daydream about their peanut chicken. I’ve never had a bad experience or a bad meal here. I highly recommend this restaurant!

The food is good, the prices are expensive, the kitchen is slow, and the staff are discourteous.

My pregnant wife and I waited forty minutes for a table inside. I went in to ask how much longer I would wait and they said they already called me and gave away our table and that they couldn’t do anything. They, including the manager Omar, didn’t offer to put me next on the list. they didn’t seat us at one of the larger available tables.

So to Omar, good job, you lost a customer.

The only good Asian food we’ve found in Palm Beach Gardens Area. Drunken noodles and Tom Yum soup are my go-to’s but everything I’ve had is delicious and well prepared, no matter if we dine in and take out.

Moon Thai Review: Sweet Dreams Are Made of… Sugar?

Moon Thai has a great atmosphere, solid presentation, and a friendly, attentive waitstaff. But let’s talk about the food. If you’re craving dessert for dinner, this might be the spot for you! And the price point is a bit high for Thai food.

The Crab Rangoon appetizers were more like “Cream Cheese Rangoon”—with over 99% cream cheese and no detectable crab in sight. It’s a bold move to name it after an ingredient that’s gone AWOL.

The Pad Thai was an eye-opener. I’ve had Pad Thai countless times, and it’s usually savory with a hint of tangy sweetness. Here, it was so sweet, it could’ve passed for a candy-coated dessert. My son couldn’t even eat his dish because it was like pure sugar. A savory Thai classic shouldn’t come with a side of insulin, right?

Now for the spice level: We asked for 4 stars (the spiciest) on one dish and 3 stars on another. Both were equally… underwhelming. The heat level was barely a flicker—if this was their “spicy,” I’m afraid to imagine the mild. And the wasabi? Let’s just say it was more like “wasn’t-bi,” with barely any kick at all.

Despite the sugar overload and lack of heat, the ambiance was enjoyable, and the service was excellent. If Moon Thai could dial back the sugar and turn up the spice, they’d be on the right track. For now, I’d recommend it to anyone with a serious sweet tooth, and some extra insulin, but spice lovers or savory enthusiasts might want to look elsewhere.

Had a great date night here. This place is wonderful to share a bunch of different food. We got the shoyu ramen and a couple sushi rolls and they were wonderful. Our server Tristan was great and provided us extra bowls and plates to share. Would love to be back soon.

My husband and I come here all the time coz we love Hannah. She is an amazing person. She is always very patient with me coz I never know what to have. Her recommendations have never let me down with food and drinks. I went in the other day & heard she is no longer there. I will not be coming back to this place. Without Hannah bar service is slow, rude and it’s just a very lonely place right now. #We want Hannah back.

We had the spring rolls and I found the rice wrap to be too thick. The panang curry was excellent as was the fried rice. Would go again.

We got impressed with the food on our delivery order and so we decided to go to the place and dine in to see the service and atmosphere and this place amazed us. From Tristan our waiter, who was very attentive and gave us an excellent service, to the Food portions which are very generous for the price and the taste, and the classy relaxing ambiance of the restaurant. My favorite is the Thom Kha soup served hot. This could be one of our favorite restaurants! There is just a ton of good options which made us excited and hard to choose from as they all look and sound good from the menu list. Definitely would want to come back again next time. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Fantastic Sushi!!

Walked into moon Thai and Japanese, and right away was greeted by the host who sat us right away. The host explained the specialty drink menu, and the difference between their large tai menu and theire small amazing Japanese menu.

Our server Izzi greeted us with fresh waters and asked if it was our first time. We started with the crab avocado salad this was 10 out of 10. I highly recomend trying this app out.

We then ordered 3 sushi rolls to split I ordered my safety roll which is the volcano it was topped which conch which I didn't think volcano rolls could get better but sure enough they did here. A 9 out of 10.

Ordered rhe JJJ bagel roll this was my least favorite roll it fell apart every single time picked up which made it difficult to eat and even dip into the soy Wasabi combo so a 6 out of 10. Really if this roll was better I think over all 5 star on the food.

The final roll we got was magic noon roll this was a 10 out of 10 100% recomend dipping it in the eel sauce and spicy mayo side topping because the combo is a flavor explosion in your mouth.

Over all I give them a 9 out of 10 or 4 out of 5 Starz with little area to improve.

Food was great! But for prices I expected better service. Was rushed out and told bluntly at 4pm that she (waitress) was off the clock and didn't want to put in an extra to-go order when we were sitting and having dinner in the restaurant. Rudely, took things off the table to rush us out then stood over my husband as he tipped and paid bill to rush him. High prices should come with better service.

I ordered Pad Thai for takeout and it was probably the worst meal I’ve ever had. I didn’t know you could mess up pad Thai?? Why did it taste like sardines?? And for $20?? Yuck I don’t recommend this place at all.

Our server was Yiu Kam L. She was wonderful — very attentive throughout our lunch. We got pad see ew with beef, pad thai with chicken, and several sushi combos from the lunch specials menu. waited on a togo order for 25mins. the hostess said 10mis which turned into 25mins. i know things happen but honest goes a long way. excuses dont. without honest this place wont go far. if u cant handle togos then u shouldnt do them or fix the problems.

So disappointing went twice before it was good but last night was terrible dumplings, chewing overcooked, shrimp tempura roll, tiniest bits of shrimp, all rice fried rice, bland nothing special not going back. They threw the food at us as it came no sequence no love.

Ordered take out gyoza and key west roll. Gyoza was burnt was cold. Literally spit out the Key West roll. I have eaten eel since I was younger and this was the worst piece of eel I’ve ever had. Such a disappointment for the price point.

Sushi food quality not that great. We got several different rolls the white fish (sushi) was chewy. And all of us had stomach issues that very next morning.

Very rarely post reviews, but felt compelled to do so after experience. Had gift card that we went to use. Manager said we were unable to use because they changed POS system. that’s fine . They took the card and said come back tomorrow and get a replacement. Showed up at lunchtime, same manager said they hadn’t done it yet and they were waiting for “corporate”. Got an attitude and said he wasn’t negotiating with me. I had an asked for anything. He just had a chip on his shoulder and explained he had to run eight locations.

Was rolling his eyes and raising his voice. Not going to be a patron of places that disrespect and take their customers for granted.

So many better Thai and sushi options in town. Little value for the money anyway.

I've been coming here since they opened. The quality of food is decent and consistent. The restaurant is very clean and nicely decorated. Parking can be frustrating but that's not their problem, it's in a big plaza so that can make picking up a delivery or to go a little irritating. Everyone is really nice with the exception of an older man who was working today at reception during lunch time. He was extremely disrespectful to me, it was embarrassing to see an elder act so small. Perhaps he was having a bad day but regardless the way he spoke to me was unacceptable and gross. I was picking up an Ubereats order and it could've been a very simple explanation of next time please wait to pick up the food but that's not how it went. Hopefully he can get the help he needs to better communicate with others in a professional work environment. Remember that for most Ubereats drivers, we are also potential customers. Be careful how you treat others, you're meant to represent your job whilst working.

Happily accommodated my request to have the salmon cooked in my sushi roll (I'm pregnant)- it was delicious and completely satisfied my sushi craving! The ginger was mild and sweet, Wasabi had a nice kick - very tasty!

No real complaints on the drinks/dinner. The only thing to note was the service. I had ordered a steamed shumai appetizer (that i get almost any Japanese restaurant th at offers it) and took 1/2 bite of one shumai when i realized it was not what i expected. I found the texture chewy, the inside shrimp was chewy and dry etc. i offered it to my table mates who also declined and i asked our waitress if it was possible to substitute the item for something else. She informed this establishment did not do that, and if i wanted to discuss it further she would have to ask if her manager was available to discuss this with me but regardless informed me a substitution was not possible. This was a special occasion and i didn’t feel like causing a scene in front of all my guests, so i decided to just send the dish back with no substitute or even partial discount for not eating it.
So while the food was fine, i found it disheartening that even when leaving 99.9% of the dish untouched, i would have to go out of my way to speak to a higher up just plea for some sort of discount considering the price of the dishes.

Came here for happy hour. Definitely recommend the Moscow mule, shrimp dumplings and steamed pork buns. Staff was super nice. Will definitely return.

Thai and Japanese menus are great! Love the red curry 4 spicy!

I must say.. I am a fan of their food.. I have tried a variety of items on their MENU(s) and nothing beats the Lamb dinner my ultimate FAV.. the service is friendly & restaurant/location is decent!

We asked for plain noodle for our 3 years old, it took over 20 minutes, she was crying for the food.
Kids meal should always be served first! We couldn’t enjoy our dinner as family.Our server started very well but after kids meal situation he didn’t even come back check on us till we asked for check.

Went here for birthday, the waiter could care less though. Lol regardless the food was amazing. My wife and I both had the shrimp pad thai, spring rolls. Will definitely be going again.

I usually eat at the one in Boca and never have any problems. Took a trip to Jupiter and decided to order food for take out. My regular order of $60 came out to $80 when speaking to the receptionist. When I asked for order break down, she gave me completely different prices then what was on the website. More than happy to continue to order, I let the girl know that the prices were different on the website. With absolutely no response and complete silence, I answered “hello” to see if she was still on the phone. With which she replied “Is there anything else that I can help you with” in a dry, carefree tone. Completely taken aback by her response decided to cancel the order, to which she just replied “ok” with no care as to why I was canceling an order. Hopefully they change the prices on the website, or at least inform customers of the price change. However, eating from the Boca and Coral Springs locations the food is delicious and definitely recommend.

If you eat there, get the amazing 4 season sushi. If you get take DO NOT get the sushi. They don't give the sauces which is what makes the dish. If you call to let them know, they tell you to come back to get it and they also tell you they make it differently for take out (without the sauces).

Nice looking restaurant. Just one gluten free item on the lunch menu. No gluten free soy sauce available. Very sweet sauce as well.

Went with a friend a while back and everything we got was very fresh and high quality. Had to wait for it a bit longer than we expected, but all in all great food.

First time ever. Impressed on food and quantity. Servers could have been a little more friendly. Great flavors. Didn’t leave hungry.

Not the best Thai or Sushi in the area but we’ve been several times so it’s not bad. The restaurant is large where you don’t have to wait. Staff is always kind and attentive.

I visited this establishment for the first time on February 22nd. I sat at the bar and I was on my own. The bartender I had was nice enough and she made me a very yummy cocktail.
I ordered the Tom yum soup with shrimp as well as the chicken satay.
The soup came first. I ordered it spicy three out of four but it wasn't very spicy at all. The broth didn't offer much flavor and the mushrooms were slimy and tasteless. It came with three shrimp which wasn't bad considering it was only $7. I've definitely had much better versions of this soup.
Then came the chicken and that was absolutely delicious minus the peanut sauce. It basically tasted like peanut butter out of the jar with something else in it that I didn't really recognize. This side of cucumber salad was a nice accompaniment to the chicken. They came on skewers and they were fresh grilled. $15.
The real issue here is one of the other bartenders. She's a blonde girl and her attitude was unbelievable. A group came in and they asked simple questions about the menu and about happy hour and she basically was rolling her eyes at them and even slammed something on the counter. I encountered her doing this with another customer as well. She's definitely miserable and needs to find another line of work because I don't know how she gets tipped.
Anyway there are many more that are Thai restaurants in the area and I don't think I'll be back to this one despite the chicken being good.

Excellent food and service. The Pho was delicious. Can't wait to come back again. Lunch specials are delicious and a great variety!

Their manager Chantel has this restaurant in tip top shape! I used to go to a restaurant she managed in Boynton and I came out to this spot just because of how great her locations always are. They have an incredible energy and vibe throughout the restaurant that can’t be beat! If you want to have a good time you need to come by and check it out. I absolutely have to suggest the Crab Rangoon’s and the Rainbow Sushi Roll, but honestly you can’t go wrong with anything on their menu. They have phenomenal cooks and a wonderful front end staff and their customer service is impeccable. Happy Eating 😋

Came here for dinner first time with my wife tonight 2/12/24. I totally f¥¢ked-up and forgot to mention gluten free. When it came out I knew it wasn't and said is that gluten free? Although I didn't mention it, they took it back and made the GF version.
Not only that, the atmosphere was pleasant, the food was really good, servings sizable and the staff on point.
We will be back for sure.

And the portions are certainly large enough that both of us have at least one more meal for tomorrow.

We loved it. Food was great, Sake was great. Our server was amazing as well, food runner was quick and nice. The only thing I would change is the ambiance. Everything was very loud and the music was too low.

I used to love this place, it became our new Thai place when it opened and we’ve been eating here for years. Dine-in, carry out, and delivery were all incredible. They’ve recently come under new management, though, and had a complete turnover in staff and it is awful. They served me undercooked chicken that came 20 minutes after my husband’s food and then served me stale shrimp tempura. My husband ordered a drink when we ordered our food and our waitress didn’t come by our table for us to ask about it until we were done with dinner. We were charged for everything, all the late, raw, and bad uneaten food. I’m so sad to lose my favorite Thai place.
