The food here was amazing! We had the spicy crab salad, out of this world roll, and drama queen roll. Our server, Vickey, was the absolute best. She checked in on us constantly and made the best recommendations. We ended the dinner with fried bananas and fried ice cream. I will definitely be back.

This restaurant upon entering has a beautiful dining room and interior. The tables have a nice wood finish and the sushi bar has comfortable chairs where you are up close and personal with the chefs creating the dishes.

Following my main was the Out of Control Roll and Egg Fried Rice which was made fresh and phenomenal. Sushi was amazing! Excellent regular menu, and an excellent seasonal menu with some exotic fishes you wouldn't find at your regular local sushi spot. I was from out of town but if I'm around Orlando again, I will absolutely be stopping by Mikado for a second time.

Great place for sushi and other dishes. We went on a Saturday night and it was full but they had room at the bar and that is where we sat. From the bar had a nice view of all the sushi being prepared and has room for many plates. We ordered two rolls and two dishes. Everything was great from the food to the service and the inside dining decor. We all enjoyed sharing and trying new tasty treats here. All the staff were helpful and attentive even on a very busy night. We left happy and fulfilled.

Been here several time for take out sushi. First time going in for the sit down service. Atmosphere is cozy and relaxing. Had some sushi and tried something else from the menu. Portion was good for pricing and tastes good. Would definitely consider for a date night as didn't get too loud and tables are all set for 2 to 6 people.

Its a vibe! One of my favorite spots to go to the ppl are very nice the service is quick! It’s CLEAN! The prices are reasonable and the food is GREAT! The music playlist is awesome they play relaxing vibe music, even a mixture of slow r&b. It’s great for a date night! The lighting in the restaurant is soft not too bright. And, again the food is GREAT!

As much as I hate to have to do this review unfortunately this was one of our favorite restaurants, we usually go here at least once a month even though we live in Lake Nona we absolutely used to love coming here until last night 14th of February 2025. We got here at about 7:40 pm, me and my husband decided to bring my mom who is here on vacation and some friends to dine here and spend the night celebrating valentines. They told us to sign in on the iPad to hat a place on the waiting list, they told us it would be about an hour and we just went to the car and waited, I saw a couple of people going in and getting a table but never thought anything of it until the hour was over and I went in to ask how long was going to be for our table and they told me that it was going to be another half an hour and we just decided to wait another half an hour, I saw they kept taking couples in and I asked them why if you have 7 people waiting out for longer than an hour you keep sitting couples in a table of 4 a mean we have been here for almost 2 hours now and Diana and her team at the entrance just said that reservations go first ( we called that same day to make a reservation and the night before and they told us they don’t do reservations) I told her that and she didn’t even know what to say. Anyways we never got a table, and it was almost 10 at night so we never got food because at that time at night in a Valentine’s Day there was nowhere to go and we’re all left without food!!!!! My advice to the owner that never even came out to apologize or even Diana and the other girl who didn’t even had her name on her shirt never even apologized, is to completely change the people at the entrance, they have not manners or any respect at all to the customers compared to the waiters that are so nice and polite always. Very sad to have people like them at the door of your restaurant. Ruined our night!!!!!!

La peor experiencia de dia de San Valentín Ayer febrero 14 2025 después de manejar 30 minutos porque vivimos en Lake Nona (y ya que no hacían reservas nos dijeron por teléfono) para llegar al restaurant Mikado Sushi en la 6417 Raleight st en Orlando...y conversar con LA MANAGER DIANA y su equipo 7:40pm aproximadamente, nos informaron que teníamos una espera de 1 hora para poder ser atendidos (7 personas), al pasar la hora volvimos a preguntar y nos dijeron que aún teníamos 30 minutos de espera y aceptando esta respuesta sin problema esperamos 30 minutos más y pasados los 30 minutos preguntamos nuevamente y DIANA nos informó que primero pasaban las RESERVAS a lo cual le dijimos pero nosotros llamamos y ustedes dijeron que era por orden de llegada y que no trabajaban con reservas! Ella no supo que responder e inmediatamente, siguió pasando clientes de 2 personas y sentadolos en mesas de 4 personas, y qué no estaban en la lista de espera dejándonos a nosotros sin atender.... 9:45 de la noche después de 2 horas de haber llegado y aun sin mesa, Sin respuestas ya que simplemente no nos dirigian la palabra decidimos retirarnos del restaurant y 7 PERSONAS NO PUDIMOS DISFRUTAR DE NUESTRO DIA DE SAN VALENTIN POR LA MALA ATENCION Y NEGLIGENCIA DE EL PERSONAL EN LA PUERTA!!!! Lamentablemente era el lugar al que a pesar de vivir lejos intentábamos ir aunque sea una vez al mes, será obviamente la última ves que fuimos porque ni siquiera la deslicadeza de pedir disculpas tuvieron…

Exquisite experience guided by our great server Pedro. We started with the King crab ragoons and the garlic kimchi edamame, both fantastic. For dinner, we had three rolls in favorite order, all delicious: Godzilla (skeeeonk!), Foxy Lady, and Mango Tango.

A disgusting place, the food was fine but there was a cockroach on my plate that was dead and seemed to have been there since they washed the dishes. They only gave me a sorry and removed the cockroach, I couldn't finish my meal. My advice is not to come here.

This is by far my favorite Japanese restaurant in Orlando. Did the Nigrimoriwase, 7 course nigiri and it was amazing. Each nigiri had something extra, either addition of cavier or uni, extra uni. I am salivating just writing this. Every seafood is fresh. I love coming back here.

All the servers to the sushi chefs are nice and enjoy having conversations with patrons. Rachel/Raquel served us and she was great always checking in on us but never overbearing. She was welcoming and ensured we had a great meal throughout the evening.

There are other Omakase places I've been to in the area, with great sushi and unique decor, but Mikado is just a cut above all those. I look forward to the days I come to Orlando, this is the best sushi restaurant for me in the area.

Amazing. Traditional sushi, a rare treat lately. While they do have some fusion rolls, the menu was heavily set in Traditional items.

I had a friend invite me to dinner here the other night and let me tell you I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of sushi! It’s located in Metrowest tucked away , but don’t let the location fool you! 10/10 when it comes to service and taste!

Me and my husband always eat here, and the food and quality are all the time the same. Congrats!! I need to change the stars here, yestarday I went to the restaurant, and at 9pm (closing time is 10pm) they started taking fings off the tables, our soy sauce was taken away and we had more things coming to eat. I don't like being in a place to eat where it seems like they are dying for me to leave, not to mention that the Hamachi roll was poorly assembled and tiny.

We had a low key birthday lunch for my mom and loved it. The spot is clean, well themed and the food was delicious. Fresh is the word that comes to mind, and not just the sushi; my kiddo loved the bento box. If it wasn’t so far from our house we would certainly be there more often.

Mikado Sushi is absolutely exceptional - one of the very best sushi restaurants in Orlando, and all of Central Florida! We were eating here and noticed it very much reminded us of one of our other favorite sushi restaurants in Orlando, Boku (in Maitland), and turns out they’re both ran by the same team! I can testify after visiting Boku many times, and now Mikado, that these two restaurants are leagues above pretty much all else!! The fish is as fresh as can be, flown in from Japan, and they have incredibly unique rolls you won’t find anywhere else. Do yourself a favor and try the more unique rolls on Mikado’s menu because they’re the best of the best - Dragonfly, Nightly Rain, Ceviche, TNT Lover, Drama Queen…and don’t even get me started on their hot and cold tastings. I wish I had pictures of everything we got because it was just out-of-this-world. It’s safe to say pretty much anything at Mikado will be excellent (only thing I can’t say for sure are the basic options, but why get those things when you’re here??), so if you’re anywhere remotely close to this place, give it a shot! I would drive as far as Sanford, Kissimmee or Clermont for this place - it’s that good!!

I order this on Uber eats beer ordered sushi we’re they just throw it InThe containers like why is the roll like this?? And it tried two different pieces to make sure it wasn’t a fluke but there wasn’t warm and it tasted like leftover rolls . They must have made this yesterday that’s how cold and stale it tasted . WOULD NOT recommend!! Waste of money

I ordered to go food from here & the Tune roll had scales in it. Absolutely disgusting. I found 3 of them. The host was not very kind either.

Got there at 9:35, server told me they already did their last call and I can not order anything, if you want to open at till 10pm and Turing your customer away at 9:35 what’s the point having the restaurant open till 10pm, unacceptable I will not coming back.

I ordered the oysters, nigiri lunch special, and fatty tuna with oyster and caviar. Great atmosphere and pricing on everything. Waitress was really nice. The only down side was that the fatty tuna with oyster and caviar did not look like the picture on the menu.

Good sashimi. The topping on each sashimi was interesting but not necessary. Call me a traditionalist. The end pieces of the Golden California roll don’t have any avocado or crab just cucumber. I felt like I was eating cucumber.

Mikado is definitely a hidden gem here in Orlando and it’s a staple in my restaurant rotation. The quality here is unmatched, the ingredients are so fresh and no matter what dish you order, you’ll notice that. My favorite roll is the toro maki, but I regularly try new ones. I also really love the Philadelphia roll. Although this roll is simple and available at most sushi places, the one at mikado is unmatched because they use fresh salmon instead of smoked salmon which I prefer. I ordered take out this time around but I the restaurant itself is very cute. The service in person can be a little slow, I’ve even seen my food just sitting at the sushi bar for 5+ minutes before it’s brought to us but the location gets pretty busy.

We drove half and hour to get there. It was 9:35 and they wouldn’t take us in. They said they were closed even though they close at 10. I’ve e being going there for a while. That should do it.

Do a lot of delivery for Uber eats from here. Front Host is always aware & fast to greet you & give you your food. It gets busy on the weekend. I have tried a $25 plate that brings a few dishes & it taste really good.

I came to eat here tonight and I must say the service and the food was terrible. I had never experienced such bad service at a restaurant than here. I came here with my little cousins and I ordered crab rolls. I specifically asked the waiter Cynthia to give
Me only crab in the rolls and she came out with something completely different. The food was actually very mid and took a long time to come. On top of that the waiter was rude. So I decided tip a very low amount. After we paid the waiter Cynthia, another waiter & the OWNER were laughing pointing fingers at us. Then the owner had the audacity to tell us the tip was very low as she was laughing. Tip is NOT mandatory when the service is this bad. This is disgusting as an owner and none of them showed any professionalism. I was shocked and didn’t say anything at the time but now that I can clear my head I’ve decided to write a review and show how terrible these workers can be. Not to mention the food was not good I’ve tried much better sushi places.
